Howard Holloway
Mr. Howard Holloway, 76, of Springfield died May 19, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 22 at the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Woodard officiating.
Interment followed in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Ky.
Mr. Holloway was the owner and operator of Howard’s Market in Springfield for many years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and the Franklin, Ky. Masonic Lodge.
He was born June 4, 1927 in Franklin, Ky., to the late Herschel and Callie Jenkins Holloway.
Mr. Holloway is preceded in death by his wife, Leann Traughber Holloway.
Survivors include his sons, Howard Michael Holloway of Springfield and Joseph Vincent Holloway of Springfield; daughter and devoted son-in-law, Trudy and Jeff Groves of Springfield; grandchildren, Jeffrey C. Groves, II and Jenny Leann Groves, both of Springfield.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Charles Leroy Hodges
Charles Leroy Hodges, 64, of Orlinda, died Friday, May 21, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, May 22 at 4 p.m. at Memorial Gardens with Tim Harris officiating.
Mr. Hodges was born Feb. 25, 1940, in Davidson County to the late Roy and Annie Lee Eden Hodges.
He was a retired factory worker and a member of Orlinda Baptist Church, and was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods.
He was also a veteran of the U. S. Marines.
He is preceded in death by a son, Charles Duane Hodges and a grandson, Anthony Cox.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Hodges of Orlinda; daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia Ann and Gary Jackson of Smiths Grove, Ky., and Mary Kimberly and Tony Cox of Orlinda; grandchildren, Chris Marlin, Kevin Marlin, Sadie Marlin and Bridget Cox.
The family requests donations be made either to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Donations may be sent in care of Robertson County Funeral Home.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

John Francis Bunn
John Francis Bunn, 77, of Cedar Hill, died Friday May 28, 2004 at Centennial Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 30 at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. David Outlaw officiating.
Interment followed in Head’s Cemetery.
Mr. Bunn was born July 18, 1926 in Burke County, Ga. to the late Fred L. and Saddie Bell Coleman Bunn.
He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army with 20 years total service.
He served in Korea, Vietnam, and the Navy for three years.
After his retirement from the military, Mr. Bunn was a Lieutentant with the Tennessee Department of Corrections, where he also retired.
He was a member of Head’s Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Bunn is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Walker Bunn of Cedar Hill; sons, Terry Bunn of Cedar Hill, John “Buddy” Bunn of La Vergne, David Bunn of Cedar Hill; sisters, Betty Lewis of Lewisville, Ga., Audrey Odorn of Midville, Ga.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Jimmy Brinlee
Jimmy Brinlee, 68, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 31 with Rev. Doug Downey officiating.
Interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born in Springfield Nov. 25, 1935, to the late Oscar Dee and Sarah Mecham Brinlee.
Survivors include two sisters, Clara Mae Savley and Margie Savley; nephews, Robert Savley, Donny Savley, James Slayton; nieces, Faye Gainous, Wanda Clinard, Beverly Smith, Mary Brown, Sandra Tamayo, Joyce Binkley, Nancy Orman; a cousin, John Tracey Darrow.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Ollie Marie Hoosier
Ollie Marie Hoosier, 77, died Wednesday, May 26 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday May 29 at 3 p.m. at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with David Jennings officiating.
The remains will then be flown to Santa Paula, Calif. Skillin-Carroll Mortuary for graveside services at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery June 1.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Hoosier.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia (Michael) Johnson of Springfield, and Eva (Don) Thompson of Kenai, Alaska, and Linda Moody of White House; sons and daughters-in-law, James (Dani) Hoosier of Santa Paula, Calif., Charles (Judy) Hoosier of Joelton (now stationed in Baghdad, Iraq); five sisters; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Local arrangements were made by Austin & Bell Funeral Homes.

Jerry Dale Cherry
Jerry Dale Cherry, 56, died at his residence in White House, May 30, 2004.
Visitation will be Wednesday after 10 a.m. until time of service.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, June 2 at 2 p.m. at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris, with Randy Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Paris.
Mr. Cherry was an electrician with Nashville Bridge.
He was a member of Ivy Point Church of Christ in Goodlettsville and was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Earline Tidwell Cherry, and a brother, Sammy Lee Cherry.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Cherry of White House; father, Ward C. Cherry of Paris; a brother Steven R. (Marilyn) Cherry of Paris; Dortha Hunter, mother-in-law of Paris; nephews, Christopher Lee Cherry, Matthew Tanner Cherry and several other nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Commercial Bank, PO Box 1000, Paris, TN 38242.

Jeanette Bang
Mrs. Jeanette Bang, 93, of Springfield, died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 25 at 1 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mrs. Bang was born March 11, 1911, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John and Josephine Vorndieck Rouse.
She was a homemaker and a Lutheran.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Bang and her daughter, Janet mohr.
Survivors include dear friends, Henry Blakeman Jr. of Springfield and Weldon Cartwright of Springfield; nieces, Peggy Segelken of Hendersonville, N.C., and Ruth Grimm of Hobe Sound, Fla.; nephews, Ray Rouse of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Donald Bang of Cincinnati, Ohio; several other nieces and nephews.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
