William E. Bratcher
Services for William Edward "Red" Bratcher, 71, of Lynn Street, who died Wednesday, June 17, at York VA Medical Center, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Wallace and the Rev. Woodrow Medlock will officiate.
His parents were the late Will Marion Bratcher and Lola Ann Newby Bratcher, and he was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Bratcher.
He is survived by his wife, Mamie Ruth Victory Bratcher of Murfreesboro; a son, Keith Bratcher of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Linda Todd, Mary Ann Fitzgerald, both of Murfreesboro; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a self-employed interior and exterior decorator.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home .

Margaret F. Harris
Services for Margaret Ophelia Faulkner Harrison, 82, Barboursville, Va., who died Tuesday, June 16, at Evergreene Nursing Care Center, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Barboursville, with burial in Holly Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Joel Jenkins will officiate.
A native of Rockvale, her parents were the late Wren Faulkner and Shirley Pope Faulkner, and her husband was the late Grady Cecil Harris.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty H. Thraves of Barboursville, Patricia Briedenbach of Elmhurst, Ill., Gale Wells of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the benevolent fund at Maple Grove Christian Church, Profitt Road, Charlottesville; or to Kluge Children Center, 2270 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, Va., 22901.
Visitation will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. today at the Hill & Wood Funeral Home.

Margaret E. Hawkins
Services for Margaret Ellen McKee Hawkins, 80, who died Friday, June 12, at the home of her daughter and son here, were held Tuesday in Missouri. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Bible Pathway Ministries chapel, 810 W. Thompson Lane.
A former resident of Harrisonville, Mo., her parents were the late John William and Frances Gertrude Woolery McKee, and her husband was the late Paul Kenneth Hawkins.
Survivors include six children, Selma Frances Bullis of Kerrville, Janice Arlene Jackson of Gallatin, Karen Lavon Hawkins, Kirby Vance Hawkins of Murfreesboro, Ronald Darrell Hawkins, Dana Carol McFall of Harrisonville; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
A resident of Cass County, Mo., most of her life, she moved to Tennessee in October after suffering a major stroke in April 1997.
A member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville and a homemaker, she was in the Women's Missionary Union, Training Union, and Vacation Bible School.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bible Pathway Ministries to provide Bibles for third world countries.

Jerry Wayne Brown
Services for Jerry Wayne Brown, 50, of Alsup Mill Road, Lascassas, who died Tuesday, June 16, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Drennon Cemetery. Darrell Duncan will officiate.
A native of Coffee County, his father was the late Clifford Brown.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Majors Black of Murfreesboro; stepfather, Dudley Parker of Beech Grove; his wife, Helen Black Brown of Lascassas; son, Michael Shane Brown of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Michael Parker, Tony Parker, both of Murfreesboro; and a sister, Marlene Downs of Tullahoma.
A member of the Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran with duty in Vietnam, he was a supervisor at Bridgestone Tire Co., La Vergne.
Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.

Janie C. Reasonover
Services for Janie "Kitten" Coppage Reasonover, 72, Toledo, Ohio, who died Saturday, June 13, at her daughter's home in Toledo, are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at House of Day Funeral Home chapel in Toledo with burial there in Forest Cemetery.
A native of Murfreesboro, she had lived in Smyrna the past eight years.
She is survived by two daughters, Ophelia Rome, Fay Payne of Toledo; two sons, C.L. Reasonover of Atlanta, Ga., Forest K. Reasonover of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Cornelia Bender, Mary Ruth James, both of Murfreesboro, Kathryn Turner of Smyrna; and a brother, Oscar Coppage of Murfreesboro.

Annie Lou Dalton
Services for Mrs. Annie Lou Dalton, 88, Eagleville, who died Tuesday, June 16, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, with burial in Elliott Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Fisher will officiate.
Her parents were the late Frank Hendrix and Rachel Hale Hendrix, and her husband was Robert Milton Dalton, who died in 1980. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Shelton.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Dalton Rigsby of Eagleville; four sons, Hershel Dalton of Gulf Shores, Ala., James M. Dalton of Shelbyville, Charles E. Dalton of Madison, Donald Gene Dalton of Shelbyville; brother, Robert Hendrix of Eagleville; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
A native of Rutherford County and a homemaker, she was a member of the Eagleville Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

E. Frank Messick
Services for the Rev. E. Frank Messick, 88, of W. Gum Road, who died Thursday evening at Middle Tennessee Medical Center are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. John Haynes officiating.
Mr. Messick was a native of Beech Grove and was the son of the late Sidney and Emma Morgan Messick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Idelle Brandon Messick, who died in 1989 and by three sons, including Jesse J. Messick, Bobby Messick and Carl E. Finley.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry Messick of Murfreesboro and John Messick of Augusta, Ga.; three daughters, Zola Powell of Clarksville, Peggy Bender of Crestview, Fla. and Robbye Binkley of Birmingham, Ala.; three brothers, Cleve, M.C. and Grady Messick, all of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Mary Simpson and Ruth Insell, both of Murfreesboro; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Messick was a Baptist minister in Rutherford County for the past 53 years, having retired last year from Mount Carmel Church. He was also a retired farmer and retired employee of the Tennessee Forestry Department.
Visitation with the family will be held from 7-9 p.m. today and Sunday evening at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Marvin P. Maenhoudt
Services for Mr. Marvin Paul Maenhoudt, 60, of Dyersburg, who died Wednesday at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis are scheduled for today at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Maenhoudt is survived by his mother, Thelma Cook of Olathe, Kan.; his wife, Betty Maenhoudt; two sons, Marvin Paul Maenhoudt of Murfreesboro; two daughters, two sisters, and six grandchildren.

Frances Shaw Adkins
Services for Mrs. Frances Shaw Adkins of Murfreesboro, who died Thursday at National Health Care Center are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with burial at 1 p.m. Monday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, with David Young officiating.
Mrs. Adkins was a native of Lewisburg, and the daughter of the late John and Lena Cooke Shaw. She is survived by her husband, Cecil W. Adkins; a son, Barry M. Adkins of Snellville, Ga.; a daughter, Bonnie A. Bryan of Silver Spring, Md.; two sisters, Martha Davenport of Franklin and Barbara Shaw of Fairfax, Va.; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Adkins was a member of the North Boulevard Church of Christ. She was a retired employee of the U.S. Government after 34 years of service.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6-9 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
