Forrest David Sloan
Services for Forrest David Sloan, 84, Sherrell Boulevard, who died at home Thursday, May 28, are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Coleman Cemetery. Herb Alsup will officiate.
His parents were the late Byron and Lockie Anderson Sloan.
He is survived by his wife, Margie B. Sloan; two daughters, Nancy Sloan Vaughn of Gallatin, Betty Sloan Warren of Murfreesboro; sister, Mabel Barnes of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A member of Minerva Drive Church of Christ, he was a master furniture maker and former owner of Forrest Sloan Cabinet Shop here. A charter member of Stones River Region Antique Automobile Club, he and his wife had judged more than 200 national automobile meets across the U.S.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-9 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

William Kay Crawford
Graveside services for Mr. William Kay Crawford, 95, of Murfreesboro, who died Friday afternoon at the Northside Nursing Care Center are scheduled for 3 p.m. EST Sunday at Melwood Cemetery in Atlanta, with Dr. Tony Hutson officiating.
Mr. Crawford was a native of South Pittsburg, and was the son of the late William and Dora Crawford. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Daisy Holcombe Crawford, who died in 1967.
He is survived by a daughter, Gerri Hutson of Murfreesboro; a son, Ronnie Crawford of Snellville, Ga.; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A former resident of Atlanta, Mr. Crawford was a retired heating engineer and a member of the Baptist Church. Woodfin Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Robert G. Sanford
Graveside services for Mr. Robert G. Sanford, of Cherokee Drive in La Vergne, who died Wednesday evening at his home are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Mapleview Cemetery with Dr. John F. Horn officiating.
Mr. Sanford was a native of La Vergne and the son of the late Walter and Carrie McAdams Sanford. He was preceded in death by a brother, W.G. Sanford, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Sanford.
Mr. Sanford also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was a member of La Vergne Presbyterian Church. He was a retired dairy farmer and retired employee of the State of Tennessee. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Annie Clark
Services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Maxwell Clark, 58, of Morgan Road in Rockvale, who died Saturday, May 30, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center after an extended illness, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home with Bobby Kitchen and Nathan Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery.
A native of Rutherford County, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Gradville and Nancy Elizabeth Reed Maxwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Clark.
She is survived by three sons, Clyde A. Clark, William Clark, and Lenor N. Clark, all of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Nancy Bush, Anna Marie Clark and Patricia Clark, all of Murfreesboro; one brother, James Maxwell of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Louise Dillion of Murfreesboro and Lillian Dillion of Nashville; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Clark was a lifelong resident of the Salem community and was a member of Lord's House Baptist Church.
Visitation with the family is scheduled from 3-8 p.m. today.
Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gladys Reckley
Services for Mrs. Gladys Reckley, 73, of North Givan Court in Murfreesboro, who died Friday, May 29, at NHC of Murfreesboro, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with John King and Woodrow Medlock officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
A native of Rutherford County, Mrs. Reckley was the daughter of the late William Jefferson Harrell and Jennie Taylor Harrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Reckley.
She is survived by a daughter, Gwen Leonard of Mt. Juliet; a brother, Ellis Harrell of Murfreesboro; a sister, Fannie Mae McDougal of Smyrna; and one grandson.
Mrs. Reckley was a member of Stones River Church of Christ, and was retired from Murfreesboro City Schools.
Visitation with the family will be after 2 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Stanley Rappaport
Services for Dr. Stanley Rappaport, 61, of Dominion Street in Murfreesboro, who died Friday, May 29, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are scheduled for noon Tuesday at the Smyrna Assembly Church at 14119 Old Nashville Highway, with the Rev. Robert Gray officiating.
A native of Philadelphia, Penn., he was the son of the late Lou and Evelyn Bristol Rappaport.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Ann Holmes Rappaport; two sons, Michael Rappaport and David Rappaport, both of Michigan; a daughter, Diana Roberts of Michigan; stepmother, Carol Rappaport of California; a stepson, Kenneth Ladd of Murfreesboro; three stepdaughters, Deborah Belknap of Smyrna, Nancy Wiley of Murfreesboro, and Johnene Renee Dubay of Michigan; a half-brother, Mark Rappaport of California; a half-sister, Renee Bennett of California; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Dr. Rappaport was a retired physician.
Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mary F. Johnson
Services for Mrs. Mary Frances Elrod Johnson, 65, Woodbury, who died Sunday, May 31, after an extended illness, are set for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home, Woodbury.
Her parents were the late Thomas Elrod and Shelly Sneed Elrod, and her husband was the late James Johnson.
Survivors include a brother, Horton Elrod; two sisters, Jane Adelaide Smithson, and Elaine Shirley.
A member of the Woodbury Church of Christ, she was a retired licensed practical nurse.
Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home.

Audrey Kay Abraham
Services for Audrey Kay Marks Abraham, 49, Sunnyside Drive, who died Saturday, May 30, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 7 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rusty Swafford officiating.
A native of Cadillac, Mich., her father was the late Nile W. Marks.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Abraham Jr. of Murfreesboro; mother, Betty Jean Lincoln Marks of Leroy, Mich.; two daughters, Angelia Kay Abraham of Murfreesboro, Tammara Sue Tillis of Cookeville; three brothers, Robert Marks of Wiggins, Miss., Paul Allen Marks of Leroy, Steven Marks of Lake City, Mich.; sister, Patricia Grzybowski of Leroy; and three grandchildren.
A member of New Life Church of Christ, she was employed at Perfect Equipment Co.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held one hour before services today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mary Harrell Stroop
Services for Mrs. Mary Harrell Stroop, 69, Murfreesboro, who died Sunday, May 31, at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Charles Mullins will officiate.
Her father was the late Claiborne Harrell.
She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Stroop; son, Doug Stroop of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Dianne Howard of Houston, Texas, and Darlene Waddell of Murfreesboro; mother, Flossie McCarroll Harrell of Nashville; brother, Buddy Harrell of Murfreesboro; five sisters, De Lois Mansfield of St. Mary's, Md., Claytie Hannigan of Longview, Texas, Nancy Hearst of Nashville, Clara Lehew of Murfreesboro, Linda Smith of Nashville; and four grandchildren.
A member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ, she was owner/manager of Jefferson Green Condominiums here. In 1967 she was instrumental in organizing the Rutherford County Square Dancers and later was instrumental in organizing the International Folk Fest held here each year in May.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
