JOHN WESLEY HARMON, 57, of Olive Branch, farmer, died Monday at Delta Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hopewell Church of God in Christ with burial in Hopewell cemetery. Gillespie Funeral Home of Olive Branch has charge. Mr. Harmon, the husband of Hazel Harmon, also leaves two daughters, Freda Harmon and Jacqueline Harmon, both of Olive Branch; six sons, Chris Osby and Clarence Harmon, both of Memphis, Johnny Harmon, Steve Harmon and Terry Harmon, all of Olive Branch, and Keon Phillips of Byhalia, Miss.; a sister, Beulah Mae Anglin of Atlanta; a brother, Joe William Harmon of Olive Branch; and 15 grandchildren.

TERRY OWEN HAYES, 65, of Jacksonville, Ark., formerly of Memphis, retired real estate broker and pilot, died Thursday at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas, Ark. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Ark., with burial in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens there. He was a member of the Optimist Club and the Republican Party. He leaves three sons, Tom Hayes and Jason Hayes, both of Little Rock, and Dr. Burt Hayes of Lewisburg, Tenn., and three grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

ROSIE LEE HODGES, 83, homemaker, died Friday at Saint Francis Hospital. N.J. Ford and Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of the usher board at New Bethel Baptist Church in Germantown. Mrs. Hodges, the widow of Leroy Hodges, leaves four daughters, Inez Glover of Chicago and Inell Hodges, Mary Louise Price and Rose Marie Billingsley, all of Memphis; six sons, Leroy Hodges Jr., Mabon Louis Hodges, Rev. Charles Hodges, Claude Hodges, Donald Richard Hodges and Fred Alexander Hodges, all of Memphis; a stepdaughter, Thelma Cantrell of Chicago; two sisters, Mattie Lee Jordan of Little Rock and Mozella Lofton of Heth, Ark.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

WREN HUGHES, 98, of Memphis, retired mail clerk for Memphis City Schools, died Wednesday in Madison, Ga. Mr. Hughes, the widower of Hattie Hughes, leaves seven daughters, Ledoria Jones, Roxie Oliver, Johnnie Beard and Ruby J. Harris, all of Memphis, Leotrice Miles of Chicago, Jean Mack of Shady Dale, Ga., and Celeste Hudson of Madison; six sons, Clarence Hughes, Larry Hughes, Wren Hughes Jr., Lynzell Hughes, Maurice Hughes and Chester Hughes, all of Memphis; three sisters, Olivia Hiram of Holly Springs, Miss., Magnolia Lumpkin of Collierville and Ida B. Coley of Memphis; 57 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kennon, the husband of Janiece Kennon, leaves two daughters, Donna Cash of Cordova and Lynn Staggs of Collierville; a son, William E. 'Bo' Kennon Jr. of Somerville; his mother, Rubye Kennon of Rossville; and seven grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Special Kids of Memphis.

ONIE DEE WATKINS, 87, of Memphis, retired program chairman for the Memphis Chapter of the American Heart Association, died Thursday at Primacy Health Care. She was a former Sunday school teacher at Idelwild Presbyterian Church and received many awards for volunteering, including from the State of Tennessee, the American Legion, the Memphis, Tennessee and American Heart Associations and Mended Hearts Inc., Chapter 32. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army, was an honorary Sergeant at Arms for the Tennessee House of Representatives, Gift Shop Volunteer of the Year for the Goldsmith Civic Garden Center, served on the board for the Tenn-Ark-Miss Girl Scout Council, past president of the Memphis Chapter of Soroptomist International and was honored for Distinguished Service to the Citizens of Memphis. Mrs. Watkins, the widow of Clyde Johnson Watkins, leaves a daughter, Mona Kernan of Memphis; four sisters, Gay Majure Miller of Hutchinson, Kan., Blonden Majure Kolander of Opelika, Ala., Joe Majure Wilson McCool of Jackson, Miss., and Victoria Majure Sauder of Toledo, Ohio; three brothers, Wallace Majure of Roanoke, Va., Charles Majure of Birmingham and Levon Majure of San Jose, Calif., two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
