Olan Butler, 84, of Hollow Rock, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.
He was a retired front-press operator for Reynolds Aluminum.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Bruceton Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Joe Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in Butler's Chapel Cemetery in Buena Vista.

The family will receive visitors at 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

James Thomas Hardville

James Thomas Hardville, 80, of Maury City, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003 at Humboldt General Hospital.
He was a farmer and Army PFC in World War II.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Buck Chapel Church in Maury City with the Rev. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at 6-8 p.m. Friday at H.H. Hudson Funeral Home in Dyersburg.

Sadie B. Edwards, 45, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Jackson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. W.L. McCadney officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors at 6-8 p.m. today at Cosmopolitan Funeral Services in Dyersburg.

Iva Autry Parrish, 90, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was a former nurses aide and a homemaker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Stoy Slaughter. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery near Medina.

The family will receive visitors at 11 a.m-1p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Donald W. Gruggett

Donald W. Gruggett, 56, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at his residence.
He was a trucker driver for Fed-X.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Apostolic Faith Pentecostal Church in Bradford. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Bradford.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Gruggett of Greenfield; two daughters, Alisha Gruggett and Tracy Gruggett, both of Greenfield; a son, James Gruggett of Murfreesboro; a sister, Toni Melton of Dyersburg.

Noble Rex Paschall, 70, of Puryear, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at his residence.
He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War.

Services will be 1 p.m. today at Imes-Miller Funeral Home in Murray, Ky. with Charles Paschall officiating. Burial will be in Paschall Cemetery.

Dorothy Allen Haynes, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003 in Austin.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church in Hornbeak. J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Adkins Sparks and husband, Jim, of Austin; two sisters, Ruth Hollensed of Tiptonville and Ruby Haynes, and husband, J.E. of Decatur, Texas; and many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Norman Frazier, 76, of Newbern, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
He was owner of Newbern American Service Station and a member of City of Newbern Beautification Committee.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of  Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive visitors at 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Frazier of Newbern; a daughter, Linda Crouch of Dyersburg; his mother, Iva Rose Frazier of Newbern; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Crouch and Megan Crouch, both of Dyersburg and Jeffrey Dunaway and Robyn Dunaway, both of Montgomery, Ala.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Dunaway; and his father, Glen Frazier.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Dunaway, Buddy Dunaway, Jimmy Crouch, Hollie Crouch, Mike Wanz, Larry Dunaway and George Bruner.

Irene B. Abernathy

Irene B. Abernathy, 85, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at Network Health Care in Lewisburg.
She was a homemaker, a seamstress, refinisher and upholster of furniture and a member of Tiptonville First Baptist Church.

Services will be at noon today in the Tiptonville chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.

The widow of Gene Fletcher Abernathy Sr., survivors include a daughter, Joyce Welch Jarvis and husband, Kenneth, of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Gene Fletcher Abernathy Jr. and wife, Margaret, of Slidell, La.; a brother, Jay Leonberger and wife, Bennie, of Boonville, Mo.; three grandchildren, John Welch, and wife, Pamela of Columbia, Alicia Spencer and husband, Greg, of Slidell, La. and Gene Fletcher Abernathy III and wife, Neva, of Houston, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Tylar Spencer and Baillie Spencer, both of Slidell, La. and Chelby Abernathy of Houston, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Mack Forrester, Danny Armstrong, James Strayhorn and Albert Wheeler.

The family request that any memorials be directed to Alzheimer's Association, 3960 Knight Arnold Road, Suite 215A, Memphis, TN 38118.

She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Billy Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Bellevernon Cemetery in Friendship. Friendship Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth B. Hart, 71, of Lake Station, Ind., died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003 at his residence.
He was a retired foreman for U.S. Steel and maintenance employee at the Hobart, Ind., YMCA, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Funeral services were Monday at Rees Funeral Home in Portage, Ind., with the Rev. Gordon Small officiating. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.

William Ezra Campbell

William Ezra Campbell, 84, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003 at Dyersburg Manor.
He was a retired employee of the Illinois Central Railroad.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of  Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive visitors 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was a retired secretary for Memphis City Schools and a member of Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
