Charles Bryson, 64, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002 at his residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home.

James Bolden
James Bolden, 53, of Tiptonville, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002 at his residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Cosmopolitan Funeral Services.

Charles Nathan Reagan
Charles Nathan Reagan, 87, of Woodland Mills, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at Union City Manor Nursing Center.
He was a retired welder for Oldberg Manufacturing in Dyersburg and a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. James  Jones and the Rev. James Kinsey officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

James Elmer Brashier
James Elmer Brashier, 60, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at his residence. He was an officer with the Dyer County Sheriff's Department and a member of Hurricane Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Ragsdale and Brother Billy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Hill Cemetery.
The family will be at 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Cheryl Rose Baker
Cheryl Rose Baker, 57, of Yorkville, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was an employee of the State of Tennessee Highway Department, a member of Lemalsamac Church of Christ, an avid supporter of Gibson County High School Athletics, Texas Rangers and Diamond Jaxx.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of  Johnson Funeral Home with Brother Alvin Rose and Brother Larry Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Georgia Ruth Weisgerber
Georgia Ruth Weisgerber, 89, of Obion, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cunningham United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Elbridge Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Oakley officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion.
Survivors include a daughter, Marva Faye Duncan of Martin; a son, Farris Raye McIntosh of Newbern; three sisters, Beatrice Faulkenburg, Olivia Shelton and Katie Bell Reeves, all of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vincent Weisgerber and Woodie Raye McIntosh; and her parents, S.P. and Mosell Hall Reeves. Pallbearers will be Durand McIntosh, Jaffery McIntosh, Scott Dunagan, Lewis Shelton, Dallas Castleman and Dennis Faulkenburg.

Christopher John Glidewell
Christopher John Glidewell, 29, of Tiptonville, died Friday, August 31, 2001 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was a student and attended First Baptist Church of Tiptonville. Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Tiptonville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Burress and the Rev. Andy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors at 4:30 p.m. today at the church.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby Glidewell of Tiptonville and Angela Glidewell of Tiptonville; three brothers, Jason Glidewell of Hornbeak, Brian Glidewell of Walnut Log and Cory Glidewell of Tiptonville; his grandparents, Cecil and Katie Morrow of Dyersburg and Betty Glidewell of Tiptonville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Elizabeth Glidewell, and grandparents John D. Glidewell and Libby and Jimmie Moore.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the March of Dimes. Pallbearers will be Russell Covington, Rodney Carter, David Hamner, David Pierce, Jeremy Hopper, Shane Ervin and Donnie Owens.

Decarlos V. Pitts
Decarlos V. Pitts, 18, of New Orleans, La., died Thursday, Aug. 30 at New Orleans Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Refuge Temple Church in Dyersburg with the Rev. Bobby Lee officiating. Burial will be M.C.C.O. Cemetery in Newbern. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his father, Ricky D. Perry of Dyersburg; his mother and stepfather, Robin and Joseph  Johnson of New Orleans, La.; six sisters, Daphne Hernandos and Marissa Perry, both of Dyersburg, Megan  Johnson and Alecia Kenney, both of New Orleans, La., and Lashaka Gray and Latisha Gray, both of South Haven, Mich.; a brother, Johnelle Kenney of New Orleans; and his grandparents, Earnestine M. Barnes of Dyersburg and Rosanna  Johnson of New Orleans, La.

Lorese C. Rhodes
Lorese C. Rhodes, 70, of Friendship, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2001 at Methodist Hospital-Central in Memphis.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. James Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The widow of Ollie Rhodes, survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Beaver of Friendship and Regina Peterson of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Johnny Rhodes of Dyersburg; a brother, Charles Stephenson of Evansville; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Harold Beasley, Kurt Stephenson, Kerry Brannon, Steve Brannon, Jeff Hopkins and Rick Peterson.

Alene Ashley Krause
Alene Ashley Krause, 79, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
She was a retired employee of Floreshiem Shoe Company in Paducah.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, Ky. with the Rev. Richard Beck and the Rev. Jim Glover officiating. Burial will be in Calvert City Cemetery in Calvert City, Ky.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Hayden and Patricia Krause Wells, both of Paducah and Barbara Ashley Saylor of Muskegon, Mich.; and six grandchildren, Jayson Hayden of Gilbertsville, Ky., Jennifer Hayden and Stephanie K. Robinson, both of Paducah, Tamara Litchfield of Long Beach, Calif., Penny Saylor of Ludington, Mich. and Angela Thomas of Stanwood, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Krause; her parents, Ezekiel "Zeke" and Mary Inman Ashley; four sisters, Fannie Ashley, Orlena Bryan, Maurice Smith and Lula Staggs; four brothers, Ed Ashley, Fred Ashley, Grady Ashley and Jessie Ashley; and a grandchild, April Litchfield.

Michael Odell Cutler
Michael Odell "Mike" Cutler, 44, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was a employee of Anderson-Hickey Company and a member of the Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Brother Paul Helton and the Rev. Nathe Ozment officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Lori Cutler of Dyersburg; a daughter, Barbara Jane Cutler of Dyersburg; a son, Jeremy Jarred  Jones of Dyersburg; his parents, Gary and Jane Cutler of Dyersburg; a brother, Gary Wayne Cutler of Nashville; and a nephew, Matthew Cutler.
Pallbearers will be Gene Moser, James Luft, Joe Tidwell, Don Burgess, Kevin Price and Robert Riddick.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to West Dyersburg Church of Christ Building Fund or Shriners Burn Center.

Ralph Barnes
Ralph D. Barnes, 75, of Cramerton, N.C., formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001 at his residence.
He was a retired textile worker, a member and deacon of Cramerton Baptist Church, a World War II veteran and a former employee of Robert's Chevrolet. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at Caruthers Funeral Home in Gastonia, N.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Barnes Ogle and Nikie Barnes Mize, both of Gastonia, N.C.; three sisters, Dora Barnes Daniels of the Viar Community; Betty Arnold Smith of Martin and Nancy Arnold Sharp of Palmersville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Criswell Barnes; and his parents, Carl and Mary Barnes and Hobert and Loreal Heathcott Arnold.

Donna Francine
Donna Francine "Fran" Burks, 55, of San Diego, Calif., died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001 in San Diego.
She was manager for Pacific Bell. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of El Cajon Mortuary in San Diego.
The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Bob L. Burks of San Diego; two daughters, Tina Applegate and Michelle Rogers, both of San Diego; a sister, Denise Burley; a brother, Gaylord "Guy" Scalf; her mother-in-law, Maxine Theilackler; three sisters-in-law, Glenda Williamson, Carol Page and Debbie Jones, all of Dyersburg; two brothers-in-law, Jimmie Burks and Mike Theilackler, both of Dyersburg; and three grandchildren.

Georgia Brandon Maclin
Georgia Brandon Maclin, 95, of Ridgely, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001 at Royal Care of Ridgely Nursing Center.
She was a retired school teacher from Lake County School System, a member of Ridgely First United Methodist Church, a member of Retired Teachers Association and Ridgely Woman's Club.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today in the Ridgely chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Emerson officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
Survivors include a son, Herman Lowell Maclin of Ridgely; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pirtle Maclin; a son, Robert Brandon Maclin; a sister, Ocie Robinson; and two brothers, Herman Brandon and Odie Brandon.

John Raymond "Hickey" Hickman Sr.
John Raymond "Hickey" Hickman Sr., 86, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001 at Methodist Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.
He was a retired exterminator for Orkin Pest Control, an Army Air Force veteran of World War II with rank of corporal, a member of Southside Baptist Church, a mason for 50 years and a member of American Legion.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Stan Pruitt and the Rev. Joe Naylor officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Anderson Hickman; and two sons, John R. Hickman Jr. of Alamo and Donald Hickman of Unionville.
Pallbearers will be members of Southside Baptist Church.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Diabetes Association.

Harry Copeland Fowlkes
Harry Copeland Fowlkes, 88, of Alexandria, La., formerly of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001 at Dubuis Continuing Care Hospital.
He was a business manager, a farmer and a Merchant Marine.
Services were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Reba Richardson of Metairie, La.; two sons, Sam Fowlkes of Alexandria, La. and James Harry Fowlkes of Gardner, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dorris Conners Fowlkes and Pierce Clinton Fowlkes.

Ida M. Ward, 62, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001 at her residence. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Pentecostal Church with Bishop Melvin Shaw officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. Survivors include five daughters, Diane Vaughn, Sharon Flowers, Rosa Brandon and Lisa Ward, all of Dyersburg and Gloria Nicholson of Marrietta, Ga.; a son, Robert Arnold of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Alberta Thomas of Dyersburg; three brothers, M.L. Anderson of Wichita, Texas and Ardell Henderson and Willie Henderson, both of Dyersburg; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Annie Lucille Bessent Reasons
Annie Lucille Bessent Reasons, 90, of Friendship, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001 at Crockett County Nursing Home in Alamo. She was a retired school teacher for Dyer County School System and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Services were at 11 a.m. today at Friendship United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Bessent and the Rev. Frank Gardner officiating. Burial was in Bellevernon Cemetery. Friendship Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a brother, James Bessent of Friendship; and several nieces and nephews.

Pauline Pugh Moore
Pauline Pugh Moore, 83, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton in Covington. She was a retired employee of Sylvania Electric Corporation in Dyersburg and a housewife. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McCulloughs Chapel Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in the family cemetery. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The widow of Roby Moore, survivors include two daughters, Norma Boyd of Savannah and Pat Waterman of Dyersburg; two sons, Roby Moore of Covington and Clarence Moore of Dyersburg; three sisters, Evelyn Bailey of Sesser, Ill., Ola Mae Gregory of Terra Haute, Ind., and Neva Bryant of Beech Bluff; a brother, Clarence Pugh of Ft. Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Burns.

Sandy Hays, 40, of Ridgely, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001 at her residence. She was an x-ray technician and a member of Ridgely First United Methodist Church and of ASRI. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridgely First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dean Emerson and the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial was in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The widow of Carl Mee Hays, survivors include two sons, Alex Hays and Sam Hays, both of Ridgely; her mother, Mary Cole Gooch of Tiptonville; her father and stepmother, Cecil and Sharon Gooch of Tiptonville; a sister, Martha Hopper of Tiptonville; a half-brother, Joseph Gooch of Tiptonville; and her grandmother, Frances Cole of Samburg. Pallbearers were John Tucker, Brent Griffith, Tony Bargery, David Mooring, Johnny Barnes and Kent Patterson. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Hogg, Joey Hogg, Richard Hunter, Robert Hunter, Pete Miller, Ken Rickman, Danny Gooch, Bradley Gooch, Billy Jim Gooch and John Cochran. Odie Glen Brewer, 68, of Hornbeak, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001 at Beverly Healthcare in Union City. He was a retired employee of Goodyear and a member of Obion Church of Christ. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion with Harrell Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Burress Chapel Cemetery in Tiptonville. The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The widower of Betty June  Jackson Brewer, survivors include three daughters, Lurenda Sellers of Obion, Glenda Phelps of Raleigh, N.C. and Cathey Lemonds of Dyersburg; four sons, Roger Allen and Jackie Brewer, both of Newbern, Hank Brewer of Trimble and Robert Brewer of South Fulton; three sisters, Ludine Turner of Obion, Berniece  Jones of Hickman, Ky. and Rosetta Staggs of Lawrenceburg; three brothers, Brownie Brewer and Hubert Brewer, both of Dresden, and Douglas Brewer of Union City; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Lillie Mae Perry, 87, of Friendship, died Monday, September 10, 2001 at Humboldt Nursing Home. She was a seamstress and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Friendship United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Bellevernon Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at Friendship Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Milton Perry of Friendship; three sons, Jackie Perry and Buddy Perry, both of Friendship and Ronnie Perry of Newbern; two sisters, Daisy Butler of Maryville, Ind. And Betty McGraw of RoEllen; two brothers, Henry McNeely of Marine, Ill. and Earl McNeely of Fontano, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Virgie Ruth Morgan, 66, of Tiptonville, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001 at Methodist Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the Tiptonville chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Wells officiating. Burial will be in South Fork Cemetery in Halls. Survivors include three daughters, Marilyn Frye and Debbie Morgan, both of Tiptonville and Sandy Vanhouser of Nashville; four sons, Ricky Morgan and Larry Morgan, both of Milan; Nicky Morgan of Union City and Jerry Morgan of Samburg; four sisters, Mary Higgs of Dresden, Sue Rice of Newbern, Louise Howell of Tiptonville and Ruth Miller of South Carolina; two brothers, Wayne Marlow and Billy Marlow, both of Tiptonville; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Morgan; her parents, Albert Mayfield and Martha Blackwell; two daughters, Wanda Walker and Carolyn Morgan; and four brothers, Ed Dean, Tommy Dean, Dodey Dean and Conley Ezell. Pallbearers will be Brad Howard, Jason Morgan, Tim Morgan, Chris Burress, Tommy Dean and Pete Perkins.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the in the chapel of  Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewain Pewitt and the Rev. Hirchie Schaffner II officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Fowlkes of Newbern; a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Fowlkes of Newbern; a son, Joshua Carrol Fowlkes of Newbern; her mother, Barbara Permenter Schaffner of Dyersburg; a brother, Rev. Hirchie Schaffner II of Dyersburg; her grandmother, Eula Willis of Dyersburg; her father and mother-in-law, David and Phyllis Fowlkes of Newbern; a sister-in-law, Virginia Fowlkes Trout of Newbern; her grandparents-in-law, Marshall and Sarah Fowlkes of Newbern; and a great-aunt, Beulah Wheeler of Dyersburg.
