Louise Streit Hoeldtke
Mrs. Louise Streit Hoeldtke, 90, passed away on February 7, 2003 at her home in Bowie, TX.
She was born May 18, 1912 in Vernon, TX. On December 22, 1932 she married Walter Hoeldtke in Vernon, TX. She was a homemaker and an active member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church and the Ladies Missionary Society in Bowie. She worked as a cafeteria worker at Bowie High School, a checker for A&P Food Store,and as a seamstress at Howard Woolfe Dress Factory for 46 years.
Survivors include: two daughters, Kathryn Worthen of Azle, TX and Genevieve Lockley of Georgetown, TX; seven grandchildren, Mark, Jeff and Kari Worthen, Cindy Worthen Eubank, Alys, Clay and Cam Lockley; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; two brothers, Edward Streit of Vernon, TX and Karl Streit of Quanah, TX; one sister, Bertha Beazley of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1949 and three brothers and three sisters.
Services were on Monday, February 10, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Bowie with Pastor Belvin Brummett officiating. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Fry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Edwin Kleinhans, Brent Husfeld, Waldo Roth, Steve Long, Jimmy Crumpler and Walter Husfeld.

Rannell E. Brown
Rannell E. Brown, 51, formerly of Nocona, TX, passed away on February 7, 2003 at a hospital in Herington, KS.
He was born March 22, 1951 in Artesia, NM to Glen O. and Mary Ruth Hill Brown. Mr. Brown received his Associate Degree from Odessa City University, Odessa, TX. He was former owner and operator of the FBA Security System in Dallas, TX. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Viet Nam.
Survivors include: one sister, Glenna Rindt of Herington, KS; two nephews, Chad and Steward Mayes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen O. Brown and one brother, Noel Brown.
Graveside services for Mr. Brown were on Tuesday, February 12, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at Nocona Cemetery with Chad Mayes officiating. Jerry Woods Funeral Home directed the service.
Pallbearers were Chad Mayes, Steward Mayes, Johnny Emmons, Dwayne Grant, Carl Grant, W.A. Grant, Jerry Jamison and Terry Jamison.

Robbie Earl Taylor
Robbie Earl Taylor, 78, of Nocona, TX passed away on February 7, 2003 in Nocona, TX.
He was born July 9, 1924 in Clay County, TX to William C. and Ruie K. McGuairt Taylor. Mr. Taylor worked in the oil field and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a life member of the V.F.W. in Hobbs, NM and Nocona, TX.
Survivors include: one son, Robert Taylor of Mexico; one sister, Lucille Richardson of Nocona, TX; one brother, E.J. Taylor of Sherman, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Taylor were on Sunday, February 9, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at Jerry Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Hamilton officiating. Interment followed in Nocona Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Jones, Danny Russell, Rex Frye, Ben Hill, Coley Frye and Doie Allen.

Lewis Leon Breeze
Lewis Leon Breeze, 74, of Wichita Falls, TX passed away on February 6, 2003 in URHCS in Wichita Falls, TX.
Mr. Breeze was born on February 26, 1928 in Gainesville, TX to Jess and Ura Beck Breeze. He married Joyce Ann Shackelford Breeze on July 1, 1948 in Nocona, TX. He retired from security work in the Wichita Falls area. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict.
Graveside services for Mr. Breeze were held on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Nocona Cemetery with Bro. Charles Nichols officiating. Services were directed by Scott-Morris Funeral Home of Nocona, TX.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Joyce Ann Breeze, Wichita Falls, TX; two brothers, Bobby McNew, Gainesville, TX and Dwight McNew, Blue Grove, TX; and one brother-in-law, Don Shackelford, Antelope, TX; and one sister-in-law, Doris Shackelford, Decatur, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included: Bobby McNew, Dwight McNew, Harold Murphy, Kevin Shackelford, Mark Shackelford and Noel Shackelford.

Nora Jean Rhyne Stockton
Nora Jean Rhyne Stockton, 73, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2003 at a Fort Worth hospital.
She was born in Bowie, Texas on November 12, 1929 and grew up in Bowie. She was a 1947 graduate of Bowie High School. She married Warren Stockton on April 3, 1949.
Services were held January 23, 2003 at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church in Weatherford with Dr. Vaughn Baker and Rev. Jim Jarrel officiating. Burial was at Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cotton-Bratton Funeral Chapel.
Survivors include: her husband, Warren Stockton; one son, Mark Stockton; one daughter, Sandy Caffee; one sister, Anita Joyce Rhyne Sanders; grandchildren, Sara and Zack Stockton and Trent and Bailey Caffee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O.Z. and Vera Rhyne.

Jacquetta Cox Geuting
Mrs. Jacquetta Cox Geuting, 61, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away in Wilmington on January 27, 2003. She was a longtime resident of Wilmington, Delaware.
She was born in Bowie, Texas July 23, 1941 and grew up in Bowie. She was a 1959 graduate of Bowie High School. She earned her Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Tennessee. On July 5, 1976 she married George H. Geuting. Mrs. Geuting was a member of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services for Mrs. Geuting were Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m in Elmwood Cemetery, Bowie, Texas with Dr. Larry Cox officiating. Fry Funeral Home directed the service.
Survivors include: her husband, George Geuting of Wilmington, Delaware, one uncle Harold Woolsey of Denton, TX; one aunt, Augusta Miller of Fort Worth, TX; and numerous cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Hazel Cox.

Ralph Wendell Terry
Ralph Wendell Terry, 76, of Nocona, TX, passed away on January 29, 2003 in Horizon Manor Nursing Home, Nocona, TX.
He was born December 12, 1926 in Gainesville, TX to Milton Seborn and Lucy Bullard Terry. Mr. Terry was retired from Vought Corp. in Grapevine, TX. He served in the Navy.
Survivors include: five children, Michael Terry of Wichita Falls, TX, Linda Duckworth of Virginia Beach, VA, Robert Terry of Nocona, TX, Carol Lown of Saint JO, TX and Lisa Pierce of Nocona, TX; two sisters, Clista Robeson of Mansfield, TX and Reba Boaz of Fort Pierce, FL; two brothers, Wayne Terry of Tyler, TX and Bill Terry of Gainesville, TX; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Terry were Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Nocona Cemetery with Rev. Charles Wylie officiating. Scott-Morris Funeral Home directed the service.

Billy Dale Evans
Mr. Billy Dale Evans, 71, passed away at his home in Bowie, TX on January 27, 2003.
He was born March 8, 1931 in Hooks, TX. Mr. Evans was retired from the military where he served in the Special Forces of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and in Viet Nam. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Bowie.
Survivors include: one daughter, Myrtle Joe Totty of Newark, TX; and two grandchildren, Damon Mason and Molly Mason, both of Newark, TX.
Memorial services for Mr. Evans were on Sunday, February 2, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Bowie with Dr. Larry Cox officiating. Fry Funeral Home directed the service.
