Geneva Mae Madden
Geneva Mae Madden, 82, of Irving passed away Thursday, July 25, 2002 in Irving.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Chapel with her son-in-law the Rev. Roland Wright officiating and her granddaughter Francesca playing the violin. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be members of her loving family.
Mrs. Madden was born Aug. 10, 1919 in Corsicana and had lived in Irving since 1953.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Lee Charles Madden.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Roland Wright of Irving; granddaughters, Janet Butman of Irving and Tina Hutchings of Cleburne; great-granddaughters, Dana and Francesca Riedle of Irving and Jordan and Tristin Hutchings of Cleburne; sisters, Opal Warren of Wortham and Evelyn Harrison of Fort Worth; brother-in-law, Otis Ellis of Purdon; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Jessie Standard O'Neal
Jessie Standard O'Neal, 84, of Lampasas passed away Friday, May 24, 2002 in Lampasas.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with the Rev. B.F. Risinger Jr. of First Baptist Church in Corsicana officiating. Interment will follow at Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse.
Mrs. O'Neal was born March 11, 1918, the sixth of eight children of W.W. and Janie Lucile Standard. A graduate of Lampasas High School, she was a cheerleader and editor of the school newspaper. After attending business school, she worked for Texas Power and Light Company and Lampasas Leader.
Following a whirlwind courtship, she married W.C. "Bud" O'Neal of Corsicana April 9, 1940. He owned a farm retail store in Corsicana, where they made their home. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary before his demise in 1991.
Mrs. O'Neal is survived by her brother, Ted Kay Standard of Munford, Tenn.; children and their spouses, Bill and Karon O'Neal of Carthage, Judy and John Smith of Lampasas, and Mike and Jerilynn O'Neal of Carrollton; grandchildren, Chris Smith of Houston, Molly Smith of Friendswood, Lynn O'Neal Martinez of Grand Prairie, Dr. Shellie O'Neal of Corsicana, Berri O'Neal of Dallas, Causby O'Neal Henderson of Greenville, Ross O'Neal of College Station and Ryan O'Neal of Carrollton; great-granddaughter, Chloe Martinez of Grand Prairie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby Reynolds
Ruby Reynolds, 92, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Killeen City Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Neal officiating.
Mrs. Reynolds was born Feb. 12, 1910 in Youngstown to Harvey Jackson and Pearl Connors Jackson. She was a bookkeeper for HEB for many years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dayton Laurie Reynolds; and grandson, John Siewert Jr.
Survivors include her sons, Woody Reynolds of Decatur, and Don Reynolds and Charles Reynolds, both of Corsicana; daughter, Leora Siewert of Richmond, Va.; brother, Ernest Jackson of Colorado; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Naomi Agnes Withrow
Naomi Agnes Withrow, 82, of Teague passed away Saturday, May 25, 2002 at the Teague Nursing Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Teague with Rev. Darrel Beggs officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Morris, Todd Allison, Matthew Allison, David Hand, T.J. Womack and Doug Anderson.
Mrs. Withrow was born Jan. 18, 1920 in Teague. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Teague. She was a homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking and sewing. She was a member of the Ester Sunday School Class and also taught Sunday school for years. She was chair person for the hospitality committee at First Baptist Church for many years. She was a 1937 Teague High School graduate.
She was preceded in death by husband Andrew Jackson Seely; daughter Linda Allison; and sisters Ruth Center and Johnnie Inderman.
Mrs. Withrow is survived by husband W.W. (Bill) Withrow, Jr. of Teague; son-in-law Bill Allison of Teague; daughters Janet Morris and husband Jerry of Teague and Elaine Hand and husband Bennie of Corsicana; sisters Jane Ann Red and husband James of Richmond; grandchildren Stacy Wommack and husband T.J. of Grapevine, Jerianne Contu of Teague, Todd Allison and wife Monica of Teague, Andrew Morris and wife Paula of Cotton Gin, Rachel Anderson and husband Doug of Teague, Matthew Allison of Teague, David Hand of Houston and Lauren Hand of Corsicana; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary Eugene Hickey
Gary Eugene Hickey, 52, of Flint passed away Friday, May 24, 2002 at Hospice Home Place in Tyler.
Services are pending with Hilliard Funeral Home in Van. Bro. Terry Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Mr. Hickey was born Dec. 2, 1949 in Big Spring. He was a 1968 graduate of Corsicana High School, a 1970 graduate of Navarro College and a member of the Church of Christ. He worked for Brookshire's for 26 years, serving as store director in Wills Point for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Victor Hickey.
Mr. Hickey is survived by wife Jane Hickey of Flint; son Jeffrey Hickey and daughter Gena Hickey, both of Flint; nephew Mark Hickey; and grandchildren Cory and Kinsey Hickey of Flint.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX, 75701.

Denise Marie Banks, 44, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Corsicana.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Black Hills Cemetery.
Mrs. Banks was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Banks of Corsicana; daughter, Sara Oldenburg of Corsicana; son, Chris Oldenburg of Corsicana; stepsons, Kenny Banks and Jeremiah Banks, both of Corsicana; stepdaughters, Holly Banks of Kemp and Crystol Banks of Denver City; father, Thomas Anger of Harrison Township, Mich.; mother, Josette Anger of Clinton Township, Mich.; parents, Chuck and Beverly Anger of Pocahontas, Ark.; brothers, Tim Anger of East Point, Mich., Wally Anger of Little Rock, Ark., and Bert Anger of Warren, Mich.; sister, Elizabeth Anger of Louisiana; and grandchildren, Lacee Banks, Dylan Bishop and Shelbie Bishop.

Curtis E. Cook
Curtis E. Cook, 93, of Powell passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Corsicana.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Smith and the Rev. Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Cook was born Jan. 7, 1910, in Eustace.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Benjamin Cook; mother, Hattie Alma Darby Cook; grandson, Stephen Cook; brothers, Clermon Cook and Clarence Cook; and sister, Alma Reed.
Left to celebrate his life are his wife of 61 years, Ruth Miles Cook of Powell; sons, Jerry Cook of California and Joe Cook of Cedar Creek; daughters, Beverly Heim of Corsicana and Cynthia Thygesen of Corsicana; and Hailey Hartnett of Miami, Fla.; grandchildren, James Benjamin Cook of Corpus Christi, Christopher Cook of Plano, Dustin Fleishman of Canton, Ga., Matthew Fleishman of Florence, S.C., Kimberly Butin of Miami, Fla., Zachary Ivy of Corsicana and Bobby Heim of Corsicana; six great-grandchildren; brother, Coy Cook of Oregon; sisters, Cecil Cook of Athens, Lola Tyler of Whitesboro, Marie Autrey of Carlsbad, N.M., and Madeline McGonagill of Carlsbad, N.M.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bettye Lucille Blair
Bettye Lucille Blair, 60, of Fort Worth passed away July 25, 2003 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. today at M.R. Smith Parlor for Funerals.
Services will be noon Saturday at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. K.D. Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Morgan Blair Sr., Morgan Blair Jr., Terrence Blair and Brashun Blair.
Ms. Blair was born Oct. 9, 1942 in Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dossie Mae Blair and siblings Jeanette Blair, Gustavia Blair, Walter Blair Sr., Henry Blair, Brady Blair and aunt Lula Mae Blair Morgan.
Survivors include daughters, Cynthia Meankins-Spencer of Fort Worth, Tresa Denette Blair of Corsicana and Kimberly Kay Hardman (James) of Lancaster; four grandsons; father, D.J. Blair Sr.; brothers, D.J. Blair Jr. (Doris), W.H. Blair Sr. (Ima Jean) and Morgan Blair Sr. (Natalie); sister, Gladys Blair; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
