Julia Mae "Jude' Rae
Julia Mae "Jude" Rae, 86, of Clute passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001 in Houston.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Chet Brake officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mrs. Rae was born March 9, 1915 in Kosse. She was a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Johnnie Rae; daughter, Sue Thomason; parents, Clarence and Edna Gunn; sisters, Eloise Bosley and Mayciell Cox; and brothers, Dwain Gunn and W.C. Gunn Jr.
Mrs. Rae is survived by her sisters, Myrtle Hairell of Houston, Edna Earl Price and husband C.W. of Purdon and Dorothy Scroggins of Henderson; grandson, Ray Thomas Thomason and wife Melinda of Wills Point; great-granddaughters, Allison Thomason and Emily Thomason, both of Wills Point; sisters-in-law, Buna Brantner of Houston and Irene Gallagher of Giddings; brothers-in-law, Aubrey Rae of Carmine and Milton Rae of Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ealy Campbell
Ealy Campbell, 91, of Corsicana passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2001 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Center.
Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. today at M.R. Smith Parlor for Funerals.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, the Rev. Dairy Johnson, pastor, and the Rev. C. Oliver of Pleasant Olive Baptist Church of Malone officiating. S.H. Jemerson will be eulogist.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Campbell was born Nov. 15, 1909 in Centerville.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his nephew and niece, Odell Parks Jr. and Mary Parks of Corsicana, and a host of other nephews and nieces and many friends.

Claudia Estelle Goff Mays
Claudia Estelle Goff Mays (Gladys Faye Mays), 61, of Dallas passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001.
Wake services will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 1950 Canada Drive, Dallas.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Burning Bush Baptist Church, 4943 Bonnie View, Dallas, with the Rev. Johnny Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park in Dallas.
Mrs. Mays was born April 26, 1940 in Kerens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Goff and Lillian M. Hurd; sisters, Louise and Jessie; husband, Alton Mays Jr.; son, Myron E. Mays.
Mrs. Mays is survived by her uncle, James Hurd; brothers, Alton Goff, Afton Goff and Ray A. Goff; sister-in-law, Lois Goff; niece, Joyce Chandler; nephew, David Crittendon; sons, Akeem A. Jami and Dwight G. Mays and wife Vicki R. Mays; daughters, Pamela K. Hill, Gloria B. Cook, Ceylon R. Mays, and Connie F. Mays; special family and friends, Dovie M. Davis, Eugene McMullen, Levesta Starks, Debra Ladd, Connie Y. Hartfield, Willi D. Smith; 12 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Marilyn Helton Krantz
Marilyn Helton Krantz, 55, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in Corsicana.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Inman and the Rev. John A. Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be deacons of Emhouse Baptist Church.
She was born Oct. 7, 1947, in Corsicana. She was a member of Emhouse Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Helton; mother, Helen Ruth Armstrong; stepfather, Elzie Armstrong; and brother, Lee Arther Helton.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amber and David Keele of Corsicana; son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Rene Krantz of Corsicana; granddaughters, Jennafer Fitzgerald, Rebecca Cheyenne Fitzgerald, Dakota Fitzgerald, Macayla Keele, Eryka Krantz, Alexis Krantz, Cecsily Greenup, Courtney Grant and Jo Jo Kuykendall, all of Corsicana; grandson, David Kuykendall of Corsicana; and several special cousins, aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.

Gene Johnson Jr.
Gene Johnson Jr., 56, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at his residence.
Graveside services were 11 a.m. today at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with Dr. David Hale officiating.
Mr. Johnson was born July 30, 1946, in Dallas to Louis Eugene Johnson and Margaret Sides Johnson.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Paige and Randy Howard of Purdon; father, Louis Eugene Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and John Lewis of Corsicana; and nephew, Lance Lewis of Corsicana.

James Hershel Covington
James Hershel Covington, 65, of Grand Junction, Colo. passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at Larchwood Inn due to complications following a stroke.
Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Martin Mortuary Chapel.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Martin Funeral Home in Grand Junction. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Covington was born Nov. 2, 1937 in Jester, Texas, spending his childhood there before graduation Purdon High School. He married Sheryl R. Polley Nov. 29, 1969 in Rangely, Colo. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Elks Club. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and visiting with friends. Mr. Covington was a resident of Grand Junction, Colo. for 13 years.
Mr. Covington is survived by his wife, Sheryl Covington of Grand Junction, Colo.; father, Tucker Covington of Corsicana; daughter, Michelle Davis and husband James of Corsicana; brothers, Johnny Covington and wife Janet and Billy Covington and wife Sandra, all of Corsicana; sister, Ima Reeder of Corsicana; grandson, Michael Graham of Corsicana; and many nieces and nephews.

Pauline Hiler
Pauline Hiler of Rowlett passed away April 3, 2003 at Senior Lake Point Nursing Home. Services are pending with Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Mrs. Hiler was born Oct. 15, 1909.

Louise Jordan
Louise Jordan, 75, of Waco passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 in a Waco hospital.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Wade Funeral Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wade Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard.
Mrs. Jordan was born May 25, 1927 in Mertens. She attended Cottonwood Grammar School and was a 1944 graduate of Malone High School. She was a retired employee of Owens Brockway Glass Company in Waco. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Jordan; brother, James Homer Howard; and a great-granddaughter, Brittney Michelle Holland.
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Harley of Waco, Patricia Bettinger of Lorena and Kay Morgan of Waco; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mae Lea Conner
Mae Lea Conner, 87, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 in Corsicana.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Conner, Dennis Robinson, Foy Robinson, Tommy Boatman, Bruce Bailey, Lee Thornton and Toby Thornton. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Beasley.
Mrs. Conner was born April 19, 1915 in Navarro County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis E. Conner; and daughter, Odie Fae Ford.
Survivors include her son, Otis L. Conner of Corsicana; daughters, Ruth Laudan and Jane Beasley, both of Corsicana, Drucy Boatman of Vernon and Betty Thornton Whitley of Palestine; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
