December 19, 1939 - September 21, 2010

Mr. Charles Lee Talbert, born in Mississippi on December 19th, 1939, passed away in his home in Goodrich on September 21st, 2010 at the age of 70. He is survived by two sons, Danny Talbert and wife Donna of Goodrich, Texas, Donny Talbert and wife Anna Lyn of Montgomery, Texas; two grandchildren, Cedrick Talbert and Michael Valdez. Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Myrna Talbert; his parents Jake and Bessie Talbert. He worked for Brown and Root as a pipefitter and welder. Charles enjoyed doing woodwork. Visitation was held Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 10:00-12:00 noon at Pace Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Magnolia cemetery in Onalaska with Brother Orval Barger officiating.

Funeral services for Della Elizabeth Avery age 83 of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday September 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with James Wagers officiating.

She was born October 24, 1926 in Rockdale, Texas the daughter of Joseph & Annie Anthis and passed away September, 19, 2010 at her home in Livingston.

She is survived by her son Jerry Avery of Livingston and Lee Gleghorn & Yvette, nephew & family

Ronald Earl Henderson age 62 of Onalaska, Texas passed away September 17, 2010 in Point Blank, Texas.

He was born July 31, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Inzer.

Ronald is survived by his wife Frances Henderson of Onalaska, Janet Henderson, daughter, Ronnie Henderson, son, Robert Inzer, step father, Linda Holman, sister, and Penny Caldwell, sister.

Linda Faye Robinson was born April 15, 1944 and went to be with her Lord on Monday September 20, 2010, at the age of 66. Linda enjoyed sewing, knitting and working in her flower garden. She was employed at Livingston Independent School District for 8 years. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Dan; one daughter, Danielle Robinson Cunningham; one brother, Michael KinKead and wife Beverly of Houston, TX; two sisters, Patricia Peeler of Houston, TX, Barbara Boykin of Houston, TX; and grandson Joshua Scott Cunningham of Sulfur Springs, TX. She is preceded in death by her son Scott Wayne Robinson; parents, Walter Eden & Ruby KinKead, SR and brother Walter KinKead, JR. Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 23, 2010, with Rev. Rex Hendrix officiating. Pallbearers will be Randy Peeler, Kevin KinKead, John Crawford, Joshua Cunningham, Stephen Bailey, Joe Kirkpatrick, Jay Parker and Willie Howell. Honorary: Children of the Life skill Class. The burial will be in Camp Ruby cemetery . The family will receive friends from 6-9PM, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Pace Funeral Home.

She was born November 2, 1927 in St. Paul, Texas the daughter of Herman M. Striedel and Lula A. Torno Striedel and passed away September 17, 2010 at her home in Onalaska. She is preceded in death by her husband James Brown and her son Ronald Box.

She is survived by Mitchell & Alice Box, son and daughter in law of Beeville, Texas, Russell Martinez, grandson, Mitchell Box, Jr., grandson, Jonathan Box, grandson and H.E. & Lina Striedel, brother & sister in law.

He was born June 16, 1949 in Henderson County, Kentucky the son of Thomas A. Glassco and Lucille Virginia Wooton Glassco and passed away September 18, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Glassco and sisters, Darlene Haire, Laura Marie Glassco, Artis Ray Glassco & Virginia L. Wielpski.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Glassco of Trinity, Steve & Shannon Glassco, son & daughter in law of Henderson, Kentucky, Brad Evans, son of Trinity, Texas, grandchildren; Olivia P. Glassco, Alexia Glassco, Gracie V. Glassco and Cole Denham Evans, he is also survived by his sister, Tommie Ann Bourland, of Newport, Kentucky, Aubrey Gene Glassco, brother, of Dalton, Georgia and Dennis (Buck) Glassco, brother of Henderson, Kentucky.

He was born August 11, 1936 in Livingston, Texas the son of Freddie Franklin Matlock and Eva Ophelia McIlvain Matlock and passed away September 14, 2010 in Conroe, Texas.

He is survived by Wanda & Joel Barlow, daughter & son in law, Jana & Tim Hekker, daughter & son in law, Candi & Rusty Bell, daughter & son in law, Jeanette Dickson, sister, Joanne Whitley, sister, Nelda West, sister, and Shirley Treadway, sister, grandchildren are; Brandon & Sarah Whitworth, Dale & Lacey Park, Tara & Anthony Cooley, Cody & Courtney Barlow, Jodi Barlow, Jr., Joel Barlow, Justin Alongi, Tyler Alongi, Colton Bell and Weston Bell, great grandchildren are; Dawson Park, Addison Park, Cole Whitworth, Carson Cooley, Chase Cooley and Kaden Scarborough. Charlda Isabel Habenicht, 89 went to be with the Lord Friday, September 10, 2010. She was born March 3, 1921 to Charles and Willie Maude Thorton Baker in Burnet, Texas. Her survivors include her daughters, Bridgett Akin and husband Charles of Houston and Gretchen Cagle and husband Eugene of Claremore, OK. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Graveside services were held Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Brookside cemetery in Houston, Texas, with Brother Orval Barger officiating. Pace Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Wayne G. Waters Sr.
August 1, 1931 - September 10, 2010

Mr. Wayne G. Waters Sr., born in Houston, Texas on August 1st, 1931, passed away suddenly on September 10, 2010. Wayne Waters is survived by his loving wife, Rita M. Waters, his children, Wayne G. Waters Jr., and wife Cindy; Rhonda Gonzales and husband Ruben; Mary Gostick; Vicky Whittemore, Robert Collier, Tom Collier and wife Barbara; Debbie Haluzan and husband Don, Michael Gorsalitz and wife Kim. He is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous loved ones who called him PawPaw. Wayne Waters served our country in the navy from 1950 to 1954. He was a retired fire Captain with Houston Fire Department, where he served for 26 years. Wayne and Rita retired and moved to Livingston in the early 1980’s from Houston and have enjoyed living in Livingston for the past 30 years. A Celebration of life was held at Pace Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 with Father Labbe officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Scenic Loop Fire Department in Livingston, Texas.

Chester Lovett

In Loving Memory of Lee Chester Lovett. Mr. Lovett was born in Meridian, Mississippi on December 24th, 1913. He was 96 years old. Mr. Lovett and his wife Georgia Lovett moved to Lake Livingston in 1986. Before moving to Livingston, Mr. Lovett owned a Texaco Service Station business in Texas City, where he was self-employed. Mr. Lee Lovett was a member of Blanchard Baptist Church. Mr. Lovett is survived by his wife Georgia Jerleen Lovett, sons Clyde Lovett and Luther Jack Proctor, one Grandson, six Granddaughters, seven Great Grandkids and one Great-Great Grandkid. Services were held at Pace Funeral Home.

He was born August 13, 1923 in Nacogdoches, Texas the son of Frank Arriola and Dollie Sanches Arriola and passed away September 14, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife, Betty Lou Arriola, Virginia Marie Arriola, 2nd wife, Gloria Arriola, daughter, Jennifer Arriola, daughter, Patricia Arriola, daughter and sister DeDe Cook.

He is survived by his wife Ina Arriola, of Porter, Texas, Frank Arriola, son of New Caney, Texas, David & Cindi Arriola, son & daughter in law of Houston, Tom Arriola II, son of New Caney, Texas, John Arriola, son of Houston, Cynthia & Son Ngo, daughter & son in law of Houston, Deborah Arriola, daughter of Houston, Texas, Larry & Betty Arriola, son & daughter in law of Houston, Bob Arriola, brother, Shepherd, Texas, grandchildren; Jennifer Rachel, David Jr., Ashley, Christopher, Jaime, Jill, Jeremiah, Faith, Charles, Hope, Stephanie, Michael, Nicholas, Larry Jr., and Sheila, great grandchildren are; Charles, Carmine, Sienna, Brianna, Cody and Carson.
