Graveside Funeral Service for Daniel Craig Skinner, age 52 of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Rev. Don Wilkey and Rev. Gerald Reeves will conduct the service.

Daniel was born on December 29, 1959 in Houston, Texas, to parents Kenneth Ray Skinner and Doris Jean Ferrill Skinner. He passed away on June 12, 2012, at his home in Onalaska. Daniel retired from AIRTECH A/C in1994.

He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ray Skinner. Daniel is survived by his wife, Caren Skinner; son, Gregory Skinner; three daughters, Destiny LaVoie, Leah Workman and Rachael Tansey; two step-daughters, Meagan Ezernack and Morgan Wilson; mother, Doris Skinner, two brothers and two sisters, Kenneth Skinner, Darlene Stimac, Larry Skinner and Mary Skinner; five granddaughters; three grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family will accept and appreciate donations made to Cochran Funeral Home(telephone # 936 327 2158) to help with the service cost.

Marion Ioan Taylor

Marion Ioan Taylor age 55 of Trinity, Texas, was born on September 15, 1956 in Houston, Texas, to parents Muriel Eaves and Gladys Blalock Eaves. She passed away on June 12, 2012, at her home in Trinity.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, Muriel and Gladys Eaves; and brother, Albert Waymire. She is survived by son, James Lee Brown; four brothers, Earl Waymire, James Waymire, Randy Eaves and Andy Eaves; and sister, Darlene Williams.

Roger Dell Hight

Funeral Services for Roger Dell Hight, age 76 of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Bro. Ernie Parker will conduct the services. Pallbearers are : Roger, Robby, Kevin, Joseph, Austin, Austin and Roger Glen. Following the chapel service, interment will be at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston.

Roger Dell Hight was born on April 28, 1936, in Shelbyville, Texas to parents, Robert Lewis Hight and Mandy Jones Hight. He passed away on June 11, 2012 in Livingston, Texas. Roger is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ivy Hight; parents, Robert and Mandy Hight; grandson, Robert Lynn Hight; brothers, Henry Hight and Foster Hight; and sisters, Lois Doherty and Ann Sears. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Roger Glen and Teresa Hight of Livingston; two daughters and son-in-law, Linda Hight of Schertz, Texas, Debbie and Larry Clark of Splendora, Texas; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Hershel and Benita Hight of Conroe, Texas.

Beaulah Walter

Funeral Services for Beaulah Walter, 84, of Camden, Texas will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lilly Island Missionary Baptist Church in Camden, Texas with Rev. Steffan Dirden officiating. Interment will follow in the Lilly Island Cemetery in Camden, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 before the service begins from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Lilly Island Missionary Baptist Church in Camden, Texas.

Sister Beaulah Walter was born the eighth child to the late Archie and Mammie Walter on March 27, 1928. Beaulah silently slipped away from us Saturday morning, June 9, 2012. Beualah graduated from Chester High School in Chester, Texas. Her favorite sport was basketball. She helped to bring her school to a championship. She was always a quiet leader in everything she attempted. She furthered her education and later became a teacher for kindergarten in the Camden School District. She loved everyone and everything that was a part of life. She loved all children and raised and called them her very own. She loved flowers and the beautification of her yard, for they represented God’s beauty of His Garden of Eden.

Beaulah gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She served in Sunday school every Sunday and was one of the greatest silent supporters of Lilly Island Church. She served until her health began to fail her. Even while away from the church she would still support the church, even with paying her tithes, knowing that the Lord’s church must carry on. She was a member of the Grand Court Order of Calanthe of Camden, Texas, Evenglin Court #117.

Beualah is preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories The Carter Family, for they cherished her love and care. Four sisters: Louine, Izola and Ida all of Houston, Texas and Bernice of Lilly Island. Beaulah also leaves a host of relatives and friends and two special animals, Harvey (dog) and Lisa (cat) being cared for by Mr. Reed.

William Grady Hancock

William Grady Hancock born October 12, 1923 in Silsbee, Texas to Charles Amos and Emma Costelow Hancock. Passed away June 11, 2012 at the age of 88 years. William work for Owens-Illinois Paper Mill as a shift supervisor for 20 years before retiring in 1981, he was a veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII, a member of Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. Trinity # 14, Order of Eastern Star # 1139 and Past Patron, VFW Post # 8568 and Onalaska United Methodist Church. His loving family includes, wife, June Hancock; daughter, Kathy Unger; sons William Carl Hancock and Gary Dan Hancock; granddaughter, Chelsea Cox; grandsons, Justin Hancock, Cody Hancock, Jared Whatley and Michael Andrew Unger; son-in-law, Michael William Unger; sister-in-law, Billie Hancock; brother, Tommy Hancock; brother-in-law, Don Vorhees and two great-grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela; brother, C.A. Hancock; sister, Ernestine Brown; sister, Nan Vorhees.
A celebration of William’s life will begin on Saturday at 2 o’clock at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston.

Jimmy Dewitt Smith

Funeral Services for Jimmy Dewitt Smith, age 77 of Waterwood, will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, in Onalaska, Texas with Pastor Terry Holcomb officiating the services. Visitation will be Thursday evening beginning at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Jimmy was born on June 12, 1934, in Garber, Oklahoma, to parents, Charles Smith and Edith (Snell) Smith and passed away on June 10, 2012, in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Smith and Edith (Snell) Smith and a grandson, Jason Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Smith of Waterwood, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Alvadale and Kylia Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Linda Smith of Grandview, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Debra Sue and Ken Jenkins of Point Blank, Texas; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; father-in-law, Bud Poyner of Waterwood, Texas; numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.

Mrs. Collier was born November 16, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to Don and Gladys Jones and passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 in Wills Point, Texas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden along with a love for old songs. She was a Baptist by faith and was a resident of the Crestwood Health and Rehab Center in Wills Point, Texas until her death. She enjoyed her visits with family and numerous friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Don and Gladys Pauline (Johnson) Jones, and husband, William Bryant Loving.

She is survived by her daughter: Donna Jean Cantrell of Quinlan, Texas; sons: Kaywood Loving and wife, Patricia of Corrigan, Texas, Keith Loving and wife, Sue of Corrigan, Texas, and Kevin Loving of Brookings, South Dakota; sister: Donna McKinley and husband Wayne of Wills Point, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 nephews, 1 niece, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Sister Betty Hendrix conducted the services. Interment was held at Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno, Texas, following the chapel service. Pallbearers were Jerry Bowen, Oran Morrison, Steve Carroll, Clifford Carroll, Bryan Siau, Cory Siau and Joe Jones.

Mrs. Carroll was born on April 16, 1926, in Magnolia Springs, Texas, to parents, Jesse Cordell Holmes and Addie Whiteside Holmes. She passed away on June 10, 2012, in Beaumont, Texas.

Mrs. Carroll is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wesley Carroll; parents, Jesse and Addie Holmes; brother, Roland Holmes; and sister, Eunice Reese. Mrs. Wright is preceded by her parents, Bill and Vivian Parker; husband Bill Wright; and two sisters, Fay Grayson and Lucille Whitten. She is survived by son, Alton Wright of Livingston; sister, Reba Murphy of Livingston; brother, Gale Parker of Livingston; two grandsons and their wives, Shawn and Julie Wright of Porter and Terry and Hanna Wright of Conroe; four great grandchildren, Peyton Wright, Greenlea Wright, Holden Wright and McKynnah Wright.

Hansford “Lefty” Lee Yellott, age 87, passed away from this life Thursday, June 7, 2012, in Onalaska, Texas with the love, peace and comfort of his family by his side. Hansford was born on May 24, 1925 in DeQuincy, Louisiana, to parents, Luther and Rosa (Lyons) Yellott. Visitation will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Father Clifton Labbe officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers are Gabe Collier, Chris Collier, Taylor Hollis, Dan Hollis, Joseph Crayton and Keith Gill. November 15, 1946, Hansford marriage Marguerite Smith in Houston, Texas. To this union, three children were born: Lee, Teri and Dawn. At the time of his death, Hansford had been marriage to the love of his life, Marguerite for 65 years.

Hansford was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Rosa Yellott and grandson, Cole Hollis.

Hansford is survived by his wife, Marguerite Yellott of Onalaska, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Mouscura Yellott of Benin, West Africa; daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Tom Hollis of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Dawn Robinson of Garland, Texas; brother, Julius Yellott; brother and sister-in-law, Avery and Bonnie Yellott; grandchildren: Jacqueline and Joseph Crayton; Gabe and Jenell Collier; Chris and Brooke Collier, Taylor Hollis, Dan Hollis; Alicia and Keith Gill; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Jadyn, Aiden, Hailey, Sydnee, Jacob and Addison; along with a numerous other family and friends.

Born June 25, 1929 in Center, Texas to John Henry and Frances Shelton Melton. Goletta was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Goodrich, Texas. She retired from Foley’s Department Store after 26 years of service. Her loving family includes two sons, James Wesley Brummett and David Franklin Brummett and wife Adrienne; three grandchildren David Brummett Jr., Kevin Brummett, and Darren Roberts; great grandchildren Stormy Brummett, Cassie Brummett, Robbie Roberts, Nicholas Roberts and Alexa Roberts. She is preceded in death by her loving parents; husband, James F. Brummett; son, Kirby Brummett; sister, LaMurel Melton and brother, Douglas Melton. John Vernon Maddox, Sr.

John Vernon Maddox, Sr., age 71 of Livingston, Texas, was born on January 4, 1941, in Beaumont, Texas, to parents, Jessie Clarence Maddox and Florene Estelle Courts Maddox. He passed away on June 7, 2012, in Livingston. He marriage Bonnie Gullett and they had two sons. John served in the U.S. Army from 1961 until 1967. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Livingston; a member of the American Legion #312; lifetime member of the VFW Post #8568 and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Sugarland, Texas.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Florene Maddox; sister, Johnnie Lee Maddox; and great grandson, Joseph Nathaniel Maddox, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Maddox of Livingston; one son and daughter-in-law, John, Jr. and Donna Maddox of Livingston; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Michael Benvadies of Hutto, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Maddox and wife, Natasha; Brooke Turk and husband, Ben; Amanda Maddox Smith and husband, David; Nathan Maddox and wife, Melissa; Andy Hoxworth and Jason Maddox.

Mitchell Murphy conducted the services. Pallbearers were Ray Smith, Chris Smith, Carl Smith, Leonard Tucker, David Clakley, Ray Clakley and Doug Robertson. Internment was held at Camp Ruby Cemetery in Polk County, Texas, following the chapel service.

Ruby was born on May 4, 1931 in Beulah County, Mississippi, to parents, Carl Leonard Robertson and Ella Pearl Van Etten Robertson. She passed away on June 7, 2012 in Livingston.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, George C. Smith; her parents, Carl and Ella Robertson; sister, Beulah Mae Tucker; and Daughter-in-law, Shirley Smith. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Ray and Anita Smith and Carl Smith; two sisters, Frances Box and Catherine Clakley; one brother, Douglas Robertson; two grandchildren, Chris Smith and Jessica Harold; and five great grandchildren, Cadance Smith, Collin Smith, Jallisa Williams, Jaylen Harold and Noie Harold.

Mildred E. Lopez

A funeral service for Mrs. Mildred E. Lopez, 91, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2012 at 2pm Laird Funeral Home with Rev. Welton Blackmon officiating.

Mildred was born on June 14, 1920, to William Josh Rogers and Eva Fore of Nacogdoches, Texas. She passed away on June 5, 2012, in Livingston, Texas.

Mildred grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas, where she attended Nacogdoches High School. She worked as a welder at Houston Ship canal during WWII period.

Mildred is preceded in death by her loving husband, Buck Scott of 32 years and her parents, William J., Rogers and Eva Fore of Nacogdoches, Texas, and three of her brothers.

She is survived by two daughters, Robbie Stewart of Spring, Dian Dwyer of Livingston: Two sons, Frank Hignett and wife Jane of Corsicana, and Vincent Lopez of Porter. She is also survived ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2012, at Laird Funeral Home from 5-8PM.
