Funeral services for Mary Fisher Washington, 61, Jacksonville, FL will be held 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas. Interment icon will follow in the Union Springs cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday June 21, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Washington was born March 12, 1952 in El Dorado, Ark and passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 in a hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Corrigan High School in 1969 with honors.

She was preceded death by her father, Ervin Fisher, Sr; sister, Bernesteen Robinson, and children Michael and Michele Washington.

Survivors include husband, Edwin Washington; daughters, Regina (DeLon) Barksdale of Jacksonville, FL, Shannon (Alford) Moore of Oxnard, CA and Denita (Philip) Trank of Nashville, TN.; mother, Reola Fisher of Corrigan, TX., five brothers, Trojan, Ervin, Jr, William, Eddie and Robert Fisher; and 3 sisters, Earlene Gatherite, Irene Clifton, and Elizabeth Smith.

December 11, 1931 to June 18, 2013

Clare Driskell, age 81 of Leggett, Texas, passed away on June 18, 2013, in Livingston, Texas. Services are pending at this time. A full obituary will be published in the next publication.

Sheryl Lea Godby
July 14, 1961 to June 16, 2013

Sheryl Lea Godby, age 51 of Livingston, Texas, passed away in Lufkin, Texas, on June 16, 2013. She was born on July 14, 1961, in Jacinto City, Texas, to parents Donald Edwin “Red” Godby and Eula Mae McBride Godby.

Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Annie Godby of Bentonville, Arkansas; two nephews and one niece, Joshua Godby and Jordan Godby of Springdale, Arkansas and Sam Godby of Bentonville, Arkansas; and special friend, Elizabeth Gibson of Cleveland, Texas.

A Service of Remembrance was held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Bro. James Williams conducted the service.

Ryan Edward Foley
October 7, 1985 – June 13, 2013

Ryan Edward Foley, age 27, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on June 13, 2013, in Onalaska, Texas. He was born on October 7, 1985, in Voorhees, New Jersey, to his parents, Michael P. and Laurie (Tulk) Foley.

He played high school football from 2004-2005, basketball from 2003-2005 and ran track as well as cross country. Ryan was a graduate in the year 2005 at the Livingston High School and then joined the U. S. Marine Corps. He received many medals while he was in the Marines, which included Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (2nd Awd), Iraq Campaign Medal (w/1 Bronze Service Star), Basic Parachutist Insignia, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Letter of Appreciation, Rifle Qualification Badge (Expert).

He is preceded in death by his sister, Ella Foley; grandparents, Marilyn and Jerry Tulk. His survivors include his parents, of Onalaska, Texas; brother, Connor Foley, of Onalaska, Texas; grandparents, Tom and Mary Foley, of Houston, Texas; uncle, Tom Foley, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; uncle, Jim Foley, of Avalon, New Jersey; aunt, MaryAnn Porvaznik, of Haden Heights, New Jersey; uncle, Joe Foley, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; uncle, Dan Foley, of Smithville, New Jersey; aunt, Gail Huges, of Waterford, New Jersey; aunt, Sue Bergeron, of Warick, Rhode Island; aunt, Patti Speranza, of Waterford, New Jersey; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Ryan will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013 beginning at 5:00 PM with Rosary services beginning at 6:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska.

Funeral Services for Ryan Edward Foley will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska with Father Clifton Labbe officiating the service. Interment icon will follow the services in the Magnolia cemetery in Onalaska. Ryan will be escorted to his final resting place by his pallbearers, David Dupree, Josh Long, Kevin Leahy, Wesley Harold, Lance Karas and J.D. Woods.

Jimmie A. Taylor
November 27, 1948 – June 15, 2013

Jimmie Arnold Taylor, age 64, of Livingston, Texas, passed away on June 15, 2013, surrounded by his family at a hospital in Conroe, Texas. He was born on November 27, 1948, in Livingston, Texas, to his parents, Archie B. and Winona (Morris) Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his wife, Mary Taylor, of Livingston, Texas; two daughters, Janice Kennedy and Joanni Kinsela, both, of Livingston, Texas; sister, Avis Nichols, of Livingston, Texas; brother, Billy Ray Taylor, of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Billy Kennedy, III, Caleb Kennedy, Maya Raine and Nathan Kinsela; brother-in-law, Milton Dillon; sister-in-law, Dale Dillon; brother-in-law, George Dillon; sister-in-law, Judy Dillon; sister-in-law, Patricia Lambrite; sister-in-law, Joyce Taylor; brother-in-law, Kenneth Dillon; sister-in-law, Arlene Dillon; special nephew, Patrick Dillon and special nieces, Amanda Griffin and Angela Wise; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Jimmie will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 from 5:00PM-10:00PM at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Funeral Services for Jimmie A. Taylor will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Danny Moye officiating the service. Interment icon will follow the services in the Bluff Creek cemetery. Jimmie will be escorted to his final resting place by his pallbearers, Matthew Shirey, Patrick Dillon, Victor McBride, Billy Kennedy, III, Craig Taylor and Keith Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Atchley and Nathan Kinselam.

Kendal Laird Martin
August 21, 1991 – June 14, 2013

Kendal Laird Martin, age 21 of Leggett, Texas, passed away on June 14, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer in Houston, Texas at MD Anderson Hospital. God has now healed Kendal because of her believing and her faith. She was born on August 21, 1991, in Lufkin, Texas, to her parents, Darrell and Shelia (Hickman) Laird.

Kendal was a faithful member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ and she knew and loved God. She enjoyed cheerleading and was a cheerleader for the Leggett High School. She loved gymnastics. She also participated in her local 4H Club and FFA. Kendal couldn’t get enough of spending time with her beloved animals. She also loved to watch Lacy rodeo and spending time with all of her friends and family.

She is survived by her parents, of Leggett, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Stacey and Bradley Owens, of Leggett, Texas; husband, Lacy Martin, of Coldspring, Texas; grandmother, Billie Jean Hickman, of Leggett, Texas; grandparents, Bill and Butch Laird, of Leggett, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Kendal will be held Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 4:00PM-10:00PM at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Funeral Services for Kendal Laird Martin will be held Monday, June 17, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at the First Baptist Church of Livingston with Bill Yasko and Ellen May officiating the service. Interment icon will follow the services in the Center Grove cemetery. Kendal will be escorted to her final resting place by her pallbearers, Jake Conrad, Matt Benton, Justin Wright, Skeeter Ramsey, Jake Bower, Stephen Smith, Bradley Owens and Robert Kelly. Honorary Pallbearers are Justin Hickman, Hunter Arnold and Kris Thornton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Team Lazer Parent Club in care of Moseley Gym or to the Leukemia Foundation.

Phyllis Louise Morasch
Phyllis Louise Morasch was born in Amery Wisconsin June 2, 1929 to Charles & Alma Born Metcalf. Before moving to Livingston, she enjoyed many years living in Holden, Missouri. The Lord called her home on June 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frederick Morasch; and her sister, Kathryn Frazier. Phyllis is survived by her son, Joe D. Morasch; daughter, Kaye Alma Childress, brother in law, James M. Frazier; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Phyllis was a member of The First United Methodist church of Livingston, Texas and sang in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Rebecca Star.

Visitation will be held Monday June 17, 2013 from 5pm till 8pm at Pace Funeral Home.

Celebration of Phyllis’ Life will be held at The First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, June 18th at 11:00 A. M. with Dr. Don Willis and Rev. James M. Frazier officiating. Pallbearers are Steven Arreguin, Gabriel Hernandez, Steven Driver, Mark Morasch, David Frazier, and Phillip Frazier. Interment icon to follow at Camp Ruby cemetery.

Randy "Splicer" Harrington
December 19, 1955-June 10, 2013

Randy “Splicer” Harrington, age 57 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on June 10, 2013, in Livingston due to an accident. He was born on December 19, 1955, in Longview, Texas.

Randy served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1973 to 1979. He married Kay Hilton in White Oak, Texas, on February 14, 2000. Randy was a member of East Texas and South East Texas Patriot Guard, American Legion Harold G. David Post # 619. He served in numerous officer positions, the last office held as Road Captain.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Bob Harrington; and a baby granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Kay Harrington of Livingston, Texas; mother, Betty Harrington Davis; sons, Kyle Harrington of New Mexico, William Loren Clary of Livingston, Texas, and Samuel Aaron Clary of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Brandie and Jeremy Davis of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Haylee Davis, Nathan Davis, Blake Davis, Integra Loyd Clary, William Aaron Clary, Lane Clary, Matthew Clary and Garret Davis.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Conducting the services will be Chuck Baxley, Chuck Scharnhort, Thomas Medcalf and Brandie Davis. Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post #8568 Honor Guard. Pallbearers are Chuck Scharnhort, Thomas Metcalf, Kenneth Martin, Lenord, Kelly “Sunny” Adams and Greg Dailey. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Weiman and Jeremy Davis. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post #8568 honor guard.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

July 31, 1928 to June 11, 2013

Vivian Wall, age 84 of Rye, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2013, at her home. She was born on July 31, 1928, in Snyder, Texas, to parents, Jesse L. and Otie Mae Crisler Reeves.

Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her parents and great grandchild, Michelle Denise Davis. She is survived by husbamd, Samuel L. Wall; daughter, Patricia Baber and husband Jim; son, Steven Powell and wife, Ella Powell; and daughter, Janet Hinton and husband Trey; grandchildren, Chris Baber and wife, April, Regina Walker and husband, Wayne, Anthony Poole and wife, Connie, Angelique Sledd and husband, Effran Garcia, Brandi Chamberlin and husband, Steve, Christy Kahrig and husband, Kevin, Rhonda Ashby and husband, Randall; great grandchildren, Alexis Baber, Kaeli Baber, David Davis, Stephen Davis, Rachel Webb, Madison Poole, Mason Poole, Taylor Smith, Kaden Sledd, Brooklyn Sledd, Hailey Garcia, Keetin Garcia, Cayden Garcia, Jordan Chamberlin, Katelyn Chamberlin, Ashlyn Chamberlin, Austyn Chamberlin, Harrison Kahrig, Zachary Kahrig, Ali (Allison) Ashby and Randy Ashby; great great grandchildren, Lydia Davis, Dalex Davis, and Rayna Seaton; special daughter, Carole and husband, Tommy; stepson, Richard Wall and wife, Nancy; stepson, Roger Wall; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Bro. David Jones, Steve Wall and Chaplin Ray Wright conducted the services. Pallbearers are Chris Baber, Effran Garcia, Wayne Walker, Randy Ashby, Harrison Kahrig, Anthony Poole and Zachary Kahrig. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Baber, Steven Powell and Trey Hinton. Following the chapel service, interment was held at Romayor Baptist cemetery in Romayor, Texas.

Ray Dean Brumley, age 65 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on June 10, 2013, in Lufkin, Texas. Ray was born on February 20, 1948, in Houston, Texas, to parents, Duard Ruel Brumley and Bertha (Kidd) Brumley.

Ray is preceded in death by both of his parents, and his sister, Alice Rohus. Chance and Nina Brumley, of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Jada and Tony Ohlson, of Onalaska, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Janice Burns, of Tomball, Texas; sister, Marajane Davis, of Houston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Raenell and Dale Jacobs, of Jacksonville, North Carolina; brother, Ron Wallace, of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Bailey Moffett, Mia Brumley, Katie Brumley, Atticus Brumley, Xavier Brumley, Bella Ohlson, and Walker Brumley; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
