Mr. Wiley was born on June 27, 1951 in Dearborn, Michigan and passed away on May 20, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, William R. Wiley, Sr. and Lenora (York) Wiley.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Wiley of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Sandra Wiley of Livingston, Texas, Leslie Thompson and husband, Justin of Clute, Texas, and Jennifer Odom and husband, James of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Kaleb Cox, Emma Gail Odom, and Darcie Thompson; close friends, Sharon Yancy and LouAnn Yancy; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Maysel Erlene Stubbs
August 22, 1926 – May 19, 2014

Services for Maysel Erlene Stubbs, 87, of Cleveland, Texas, formerly of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment icon will follow at Peebles cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, also at Cochran Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stubbs was born on August 22, 1926 in Ladelle, Arkansas and passed away on May 19, 2014 in Cleveland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ancy and Minnie (Vining) Burch; husband, Elbert Louis Stubbs, whom she married on July 3, 1946; brothers, Billie Burch and Freeman Burch; and sisters, Mary Graham, Winnie Varnell, and Della Thomas.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Glen Stubbs and Susan of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Connie E. Schiller and David of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Elbert Ray Stubbs and Kim of Corrigan, Texas; grandchildren and spouses, Donna Stern and Steve, Melanie Schiller, Adam Schiller, Courtney Wilson and Daniel, and Ashley Stubbs; great-grandchildren, Mira Stern, Sophia Stern, Cameron Stern, Seth Stern, Chloe Wilson, Reed Wilson, and Jace Stubbs; sisters, Ancy Mae McKiever and Clennie Clampit; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Kevin Glenn Cagle

Kevin Glenn Cagle, born on January 20, 1981 in Humble, Texas to Wendell Glenn Cagle and Sheila Dianne Cooper Cagle, passed away on May 16, 2014 in Point Blank, Texas at the age of 33. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sheila Cagle; son, Hunter Levi Cagle; daughter, Liliane Summer Cagle; sister, Heather Ashley Cagle; grandpa, Arthur Lee Cagle; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his father; grandmothers, Iva Cooper and Mattie Alma Cagle. His little boy was born on his birthday. Kevin will be missed deeply to everyone that knew him. Visitation will be on Friday May 23, 2014 at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North, Livingston, Texas 77351 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Christian Faith 1040 Hwy 190, Oakhurst, Texas at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Dale Kelley officiating. Pallbearers will be Calvin Steele, Greg Rowe, Ronnie Elliot, Travis Dean, Marc Love and Jason Moses. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Steele and Jeffrey Lindsey. Interment icon will be at Smith Butler cemetery in Pointblank, Texas.

Harold Clifton Hasty

Funeral Services for Harold Clifton Hasty, 66, of Corrigan, Texas will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Reverend Lesly Wilkinson officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Union Springs cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Hasty passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Harold was born in Palestine, Texas on October 29, 1947 to Clifton and Lena Hasty. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and was known by H.C., “Hasty”, Eugene and “Popi”. Harold enjoyed working out in his yard, mowing especially! He served his Country proudly in the USMC from October 31, 1968 until July 22, 1974.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Shirlene “Sissy”; son, Christopher Sanders & wife Nicole of Corrigan, Texas; daughters, Jennifer Thomas & husband Wes of Little Rock, Arkansas, Megan Bedre & husband Barry of Palestine, Texas, Krystal Currie of Corrigan, Texas; grandson, Troy Hasty-Wilson & wife Kat of Palestine, Texas; granddaughters, Amy & Ally of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ali, Karli, Kendall, Kadee, Chasity and Kayla of Corrigan, Texas; great grandchildren, Penelope, Kevin Wilson of Palestine, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews; a very special sister & brother in law, Jean Turbyfill and husband Wayne and a host of friends who will miss him greatly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; step dad Rudolph Jung; son, Kevin Hasty; brother, Donald Hasty; grandson, Jarod Hasty Wilson and father-in-law, Kenneth Thomas.

Pallbearers are Gary Currie, Paden Reed, Dean Bowman, Gene Bacon, Hunter Bullock, Tracy Gossett, Johnny Mercer and Bubba Lynn Braneff.

Graveside services for Tyra Jo Clendennen, 76, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, May 21, 2014 at Holly Grove cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, May 21, 2014, just prior to service time, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Clendennen was born on July 27, 1937 in Gilmer, Texas and passed away on May 17, 2014 in Goodrich, Texas. Everyone knew her by her infectious laugh and positivity. Even in the toughest of times, she was always an inspiration to all who loved her and knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gracie (Lee) Sanders; husband, and numerous other relatives.

She is survived by her daughters, Ranita Shows of Alexandria, Louisiana, Debra Smith of Kilgore, Texas, Virginia Gayle of Nevada, and Leonna and husband, Leonard Howard of Goodrich, Texas; son, Joe Don Smith of Amarillo, Texas; granddaughter, Sabrina Howard; 7 other grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Clendennen will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Woody Chism, Danny Bailey, Pete Rasco, Leonard Howard, Keith Howard, and Don Holse.

June 23, 1941 – May 16, 2014

A memorial service for Shirley May (Reed) Nix, 72, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Louie Matthews officiating.

Mrs. Nix was born June 23, 1941 in Syracuse, New York, to parents, Charles and Josephine (Bonner) Reed and passed away on May 16, 2014 in Point Blank, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Penny Sue Warren; brothers, Lindon Reed, Donald Reed, Leslie Reed, and William Reed; and sister, Juanita Reed.

Mrs. Nix is survived by her husband, Ritchie Reed of Point Blank, Texas; daughters, Cindy Hoffart of Klein, Texas, Sandra Samples of Sellersburg, Indiana, and Lee Ann Matthews of Point Blank, Texas; step-son, Carry Nix of Santa Fe, Texas; sister, Carol Parker of Central Square, New York; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Margaret Jane Hicks
July 26, 1928 – May 16, 2014

Margaret Jane Hicks, age 75, passed away in Livingston, Texas, on May 16, 2014, after her battle with cancer. Margaret was born on July 26, 1938 to Michael Cashatt and Nadine (Hollingsworth) Cashatt in Breckenridge, Missouri. Margaret is preceded in death by her father and mother, Michael and Nadine Cashatt; son, Terry Dwayne Hicks; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Linda Hicks.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Marvin of Livingston, Texas; son Toby Dale Hicks of Livingston, Texas; special friend to the family and Toby, Brenda Ducett of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Sandra Ann Hicks of Keithville, Louisiana; special friend to the family and Sandy, Sondra Kaye Smith Lawrence of Keithville, Louisiana; granddaughters, Jessica Lena Hicks of College Station, Texas, Alexandra Dale Hicks of Livingston, Texas; brother, Walter Cashatt and wife Wilda of Independence, Missouri; sister, Vonnie Narr and husband, Ronnie of Meadville, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Bobby Hicks and wife, Dorothy, of Independence, Missouri, Fred Hicks and wife, Pat of Edmond, Oklahoma; niece Monica Palmer and husband Johnny of Meadville, Missouri; niece Donna Crist and husband, Don of Independence, Missouri; nephew, Duane Hicks and wife, Julie of Independence, Missouri; niece, Beverly Thomas and husband Brent of Tomball, Texas, niece, Stacy Hagman and husband Todd of Louisville, Kentucky, nephew Mark Hicks and wife Nichole of Indianapolis, Indiana; along with numerous great nieces and nephews. Also a very special thank you to Keri Hicks for her time and love in Margaret’s caregiving.

Margaret grew up in Breckenridge, Missouri where her dad worked for Burlington Railroad most of his life and her stay – at – home mom raised Margaret and her siblings. Margaret was an avid basketball player and a very popular cheerleader. She attended Girl’s State her senior year and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1956. In 1960, Margaret was employed by a telephone co-op and at the age of 23, she became the head bookkeeper of the co-op. In 1963, Marvin and Margaret were married and Marvin gained a wonderful addition to his marriage with Margaret, a son, Terry Dwayne Hicks. Terry would later serve for several years as a Fire Chief of the Scenic Loop Fire Department of Lake Livingston, Texas. In 1966, before leaving Breckenridge, Margaret and Marvin became the proud parents of Toby Dale Hicks. They packed up their family and moved to Hartdale, Missouri, and in 1968, Margaret gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Sandy Ann. Margaret worked for a local hospital and became the assistant administrator.

In 1973, again the Hicks packed up their family and made one final move to the great state of Texas and the beautiful East Texas country surrounding Lake Livingston. Marvin and Margaret took over the management of the Lake Livingston Telephone Company and shortly after purchased the Telephony Company. In 1997, they sold Lake Livingston Telephone Company and retired to the Reata Ranch in the western Polk County where they enjoyed country living, riding horses, participating with their many Wagon 7 friends on the Salt Grass Trail Ride and the Rancher’s Ride. Marvin and Margaret rode the Salt Grass Trail every day come sunshine or rain and spent many evenings with friends and family gathered around a fire sharing stories and laughter.

Eventually, they “un-retired” to manage their business, Eastex Security. Margaret enjoyed the challenge of helping to grow the many facets of their business. Margaret was very much involved in operating Eastex Security until the very end. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Livingston and was very active in MYF when her children were very young. Margaret was also involved with her husband Marvin in many community activities. Margaret’s friendships not only touched the 4 corners of Polk County, but also the many friends in the great state of Texas and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Wagon7, Ranchers Ride, and the friends of her family of the elite Texas cowboy organization, Tejas Vaqueros.

Visitation to be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, 406 Yaupon St., Livingston, Texas. Funeral services to be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church to be presided by Rev. James Frazier and Dr. Don Willis.

Pallbearers are James Bergman, Shannon Carter, Steve Heizer, Larry Hill, Brent Hunter, Craig Jones, Malcolm Jones, Eddie Martin, Gary Don Murphy, Joey Pedigo, Phil Smith, and Johnny Van Matre.

In lieu of flowers donations to be made to the Methodist Youth Fellowship.

Marion Snider Poncho
May 3, 1941 – May 17, 2014

Funeral services for Marion Snider Poncho, 73, of Woodville, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Indian Village Assembly of God Church with Rev. David Busby and Rev. Darrell Surface officiating. Interment icon will follow at the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M., Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Indian Village Assembly of God Church.

Marion Snider Poncho was born on May 3, 1941 on the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation in Polk County, Texas and passed away on May 17, 2014 in Woodville, Texas. He was a devoted husband and father; he was also very proud of being a Lay Minister. He had a love for gospel, was a Sunday School Teacher, and a devote Christian who was dedicated to the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, Folsom David Poncho and Taia (John) Poncho; brothers, Chap Poncho and Needham Poncho; and sister-in-law, Wanda Poncho.

His survived by his wife, Mary Poncho of Woodville, Texas; daughters, Rashyal Sylestine and husband, Frank of the Reservation, Sylvia Lovelace and husband, Britt of Rockport, Texas, Charla Talacon and husband, Shash of Christen, Washington; step-son, James Hunter of Warren, Texas; brothers, Robert Poncho of the Reservation and Elwin Poncho of Spurger, Texas; sisters, Ruthie Padilla, Lenora Williams, and Jennie Thompson of the Reservation; sisters-in-law, Henrietta Poncho of the Reservation, Joyce Poncho of the Reservation, and Elizabeth Poncho of Spurger, Texas; grandchildren, Leif Poncho, Cameron and Isabella Buford, and Koral, Bart and Karman Sylestine; step-grandchildren, Matthew and Sterling Lovelace, Brittany Kolodziej and husband Marty; great-grandchild, Quinn Kolodziej; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Mr. Poncho will be escorted to his grave by pallbearers Stewart Poncho, Rydell Williams, Eric Poncho, Elgin Poncho, Troy Langley, Zachary Williams, Richard Thompson, and Marcus Thompson.

Kevin Kleinhenz, Rev. Clay Duckworth, and Bishop Gerald Reeves officiating. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Honor Guard Post #8568. Mr. Daniels was born June 21, 1948 in Ottawa, Illinois and passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Brown and Root and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Daniels and Florence Elizabeth (Littlefair) Daniels; brother, William H. Daniels Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Fannie Mae and William Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Daniels of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Missy Kleinhenz and Kevin of Baytown, Texas; son, William “Bubba” Daniels and Lisa of Onalaska, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Dale Faust of Spring Valley, Arizona; granddaughters, Tarah Daniels of Spring, Texas, Brandi Jo Daniels of Onalaska, Texas, Lauren Kleinhenz, Lindsey Kleinhenz, Rebekah Kleinhenz, and Breonna Kleinhenz all of Baytown, Texas; grandson, Dustin Daniels of Onalaska, Texas; great grandson, Brantley Kyle Daniels of Onalaska, Texas; sister-in-law, Jeannie Daniels of Marseilles, Illinois; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Marvin Malone
October 31, 1928 – May 11, 2014

Graveside services for Marvin Malone, 85, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Peebles cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Malone was born on October 31, 1928 in Soda, Texas and passed away on May 11, 2014 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a qualified parachutist and gliderman. He was a past commander of the VFW Hall and also a member of Douglas McArthur’s Honor Guard. He joined the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department on September 6, 1953, Unit #6, and during his years of service he was a lieutenant and a captain. He was also a member of the Fire Department Pumper Team. Mr. Malone coached youth baseball and youth football in Livingston for many years; among his many hobbies, fishing was his favorite. He was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church at Bold Springs. He loved his family, his children, and his grandchildren dearly.

Mr. Malone is preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Myrle (Stutts) Malone; and brothers, Charles Malone and David Malone.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Malone of Alba, Texas; son, Danny Malone of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha Stutts and James of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Rodriguez and Marcos of Livingston, Texas; son, Roger Malone of Austin, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Lynne Hutchison and Danny of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Weston Nettles and Heather of Longview, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; brothers, Andy Malone, Malcolm Malone, Jerry Malone, John Malone, Billy Andrus, and Danny Malone; sisters, Linda Benson, Mildred Brown, Sheryl Sims, Nancy English, and Gail Reily.

Mrs. Beardsley was born April 9, 1948 in Zion, Illinois to parents, Henry Ruchti and Ellen (Anderson) Ruchti, and passed away May 14, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. During her lifetime she was employed as nurse. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Lee Kilbourn of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Shannon Oglesby of Waller, Texas; grandson, Donald Paul Kilbourn Jr. of Pearland, Texas; grandson, Brandon Beardsley of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter, Ashlee Kilbourn of Humble, Texas; grandson, Duncan Begg of Livingston, Texas; great granddaughters, Nicole Evette Kilbourn of Pearland, Texas, Faith Harmony Beardsley of Livingston, Texas, and Emily Rose McMillian of Humble, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
