at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Earlimart, CA. with burial to follow.

Friday 1:00 p.m.
(Taylor) Alice Louise Tinsley, 84 of Taylor died Monday at her
residence. Funeral services will be today at 1:00 p.m. at First United
Methodist Church in Taylor with burial in the Taylor City Cemetery.
Mrs. Tinsley was a member of First United Methodist Church, Johns
Community hospital volunteer, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors
include:
2 Daughters: Eloise Carolyn Chapman and husband Tom of Dallas and
JoAnne Mims and husband Bobby of Carrollton
3 Sons: John Thomas Tinsley and wife Frankie of San Antonio
George Ted Tinsley and wife Merida of Bandera and
Jack Ray Tinsley and wife Linda of Dallas
Sister: Elizabeth Lockwood Blackwell of Taylor
Sister in Law: Maxine Lockwood of Bartlett
Brother: Joseph Lockwood of Taylor
6 grandchildren also survive.

Barbara Louise Parrish
Saturday 10:00 a.m.
(Rockdale) Barbara Louise Parrish, 80 of Rockdale died Thursday at
Richards Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00
a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home with burial in the I.O.O.F.
Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation will be today from 4-7 p.m. at the
funeral home. Mrs. Parrish was owner and operator of the Mary Ann Dress
Shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockdale where she
taught Sunday School and was active in the Baptist Womens Club.
Survivors include:
Brother: Edward Williams and wife Mozelle of Rockdale
Sister: Loraine Gray and husband Marvin of Rockdale
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home of Rockdale is in charge of

(Mason) Gertrude Janke, 83 of Bartlett died Wednesday. Funeral services
will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett
with burial in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Survivors include:

2 Daughters: Linda Zrubek and husband Henry of Dallas and
Debra Caldwell and husband Paul of Bartlett

(Taylor) Landy Felfe, 73 of Thorndale, died Tuesday at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be today at 2pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale. burial will follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Felfe served in WWII and in the Korean conflict. Landy had been engaged in farming as well as painting and carpentry. He was a church elder and school trustee for many years. His survivors include:

Burial will be held in the Greater Riverside Cemetery in Hearne with military honors. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 at Glenn Mack Funeral Home and from 10-11 at the church. He was a registered LVN nurse, retired from Ben Travis Hospital in Houston. Survivors include:
1 Sister: Doris Stewart Jones of Hearne.
2 Brothers: Adolph Gurode and wife Mary, and Rudolph Gurode and wife Debra, all of Houston.
1 Adopted son: Fredereick McTear, of Houston.
