Mina Mae Wooldridge
Mina Mae Wooldridge, 81, of Wichita Falls died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1998, in a local nursing center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wade Hood, pastor of West Side Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Ms. Wooldridge was born May 2, 1917, in DeLeon, Texas. She was a retired nurses aide at Wichita Falls State Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Wichita Falls and a member of West Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Erlena Vinson of Wichita Falls; two sons, Paul Wooldridge of Wichita Falls and Guy Wooldridge of Lompoc, Calif.; four sisters, Sally Murphy, Mildred Shetley and Belle Roush, all of Sulphur, La., and Kathy Lindsey of Wichita Falls; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today.

Ada Ruth Wilbanks
Ada Ruth Wilbanks, 89, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, in her Wichita Falls residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Bill Jackson, pastor of Victory Baptist Church, and the Rev. James Patterson, pastor of Floral Heights Assembly of God Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilbanks was born July 25, 1909, in Ocala, Fla. Her husband, K.D. Wilbanks, died Nov, 17, 1992. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth D. of Brunswick, Ga., and Dewey W. of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Marie Guadalupe
Marie Guadalupe, infant daughter of Saul and Juana Herrera of Wichita Falls, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with the Rev. Hector Medina, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, officiating.
Marie was born Aug. 20, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Survivors include her parents; her paternal grandparents, Leon and Maria Herrera of Wichita Falls; and her maternal grandparents, Refugio and Alicia Ortiz of Mexico.

James H. Adams
GRAHAM, Texas - James H. Adams, 56, of Graham died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1998, in a Graham hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Amarillo, Texas. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. Local arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Mr. Adams was born June 14, 1942, in Bowie, Texas. He and Darlene Mathis were married April 22, 1962, in Portales, N.M. He was a veteran of the Army. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hobbs, N.M., and the Hobbs Evening Lions Club. He was a retired production foreman for Amoco Production Company. He moved to Graham from Hobbs four months ago.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mary E. Adams of Amarillo; a son, Jason Lane of Amarillo; three sisters, Emma Lee Nowell and Burlene Applewhite, both of Amarillo, and Mary Jane Dallas of Pampa, Texas; two brothers, A.B. Adams Jr. of Oklahoma City and Cleston of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.

Cleveland Dandridge
Cleveland Dandridge, 62, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998 in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel with the Rev. Don Cook, of Shiloh Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mr. Dandridge was born April 1, 1936, in Belle Rose, La. He was a senior master sergeant in the Air Force. He was a clerk at the Army Air Force Exchange Services on Sheppard Air Force Base.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Dandridge; a son, Robert of Fort Worth; five daughters, Andrganette McNeil and Karen Walker both of Wichita Falls, Sharon Kearney of Brooklyn, N.Y., Lisa Dandridge and Cassandra McClellan both of Irving, Texas; three sisters, Sherry and Rosemary Chandler and Helen Saverin all of New Orleans, La.; three brothers, Stanley and Curtis both of New Orleans and Arthur Barnes of Tampa, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. this afternoon.
Donah Louise Lucore
IOWA PARK – Donah Louise Waldon Lucore, 70, of Kamay died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in Kamay.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Albany, Texas, Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lucore was born March 3, 1928, in Mineral Wells, Texas. She and R.B. Lucore were married April 21, 1951, in Archer City, Texas. She was a supervisor for 20 years at the Wichita Falls State Hospital Tailoring Shop. She was a member of the Dundee, Texas, Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jack of Kamay; two daughters, Debbie of Wichita Falls and Karen of Kamay; a sister, Mary A. Spoon of El Paso, Texas; three brothers, Bobbie Waldon of Siminole, Texas, Donald Waldon of Amarillo, Texas, and Homer L. Waldon of Haskell, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Rodessa Page
Rodessa Page, 77, of Wichita Falls died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Martin Chapel C.M.E. Methodist Church of Redwater, Texas, with the Rev. Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Chappel Wood Cemetery under the direction of Wells Funeral Home.
Mrs. Page was born Jan. 14, 1921, in Redwater. She had lived in Wichita Falls for almost two years.
Survivors include her husband, Searcy Page; five daughters, Essie Humphrey of Wichita Falls, Carrie Jessie and Tracy Davis both of Plano, Texas, Betty Terry of Texarkana, Texas, and Linda Ware of Redwater; and three sons, Searcy, Jr. of Banger, Wisc., Joe Lee of Dallas, and Charles E. of Redwater.

Connie Lee King
THROCKMORTON, Texas – Connie Lee Tucker King, 89, died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in a Throckmorton County hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Edgar Jones officiating. Burial will be in Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Mrs. King was born Jan. 13, 1909, in Weaver Pasture, Throckmorton County. She and Jarmon King were married March 18, 1933, in Walters, Okla. He died Jan. 26, 1988. She graduated from Throckmorton High School and attended college in Denton, Texas, and at North Texas State College. She taught school for several years and moved to Wichita Falls from Throckmorton in 1990. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Max of Saint Francisville, La.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time today.

Bill Hammonds
CROWELL, Texas – Bill Hammonds, 73, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in his Foard County, Texas, residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard White, pastor, and Leslie Thomas, of Crowell, officiating. Burial will be in Crowell Cemetery under the direction of Womack-Manard Funeral Home.
Mr. Hammonds was born July 29, 1925, in Thalia, Texas. He and Patsy Fox were married Nov. 27, 1948, in Vernon, Texas. He was a farmer, a rancher and a lifetime resident of Thalia. He was a member of the Crowell First Baptist Church and the Thalia Masonic Lodge No. 666. He had served on the Thalia Water Board.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kathy Carroll of Lubbock, Texas; a son, Rick of Thalia; three sisters, Mona Moore and Annabelle Henry both of Thalia and Virginia Pyle of Floydada, Texas; and six grandchildren.

William H. York
William H. York, 76, died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in his Wichita Falls residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ole Olds, pastor of Lakeview Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mr. York was born April 19, 1922, in Tecumseh, Okla. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marines. He retired after 37 years of service as a shop foreman with United Electric. He was a member of Lakeview Church of God in Iowa Park.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie York of Wichita Falls; three daughters, Barbara Potts and Mary Lou Hunter, both of Wichita Falls, and Barbara Willyard of Lake Arrowhead, Texas; a son, Larry of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Jimmy of Olney, Texas, and Orville of Hobbs, N.M.; two sisters, Dean Kimbro of Olney and Lillie Hall of Clyde, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. this evening.

Lester Ray Talley
Lester Ray Talley, 81, of Iowa Park died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Bryant, pastor of First Pentecostal Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Burkburnett Cemetery.
Mr. Talley was born March 2, 1917, in Mangum, Okla. He was a retired school custodian and oil field driller. He had been a Wichita Falls area resident since 1966. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Oma Mae Talley of Iowa Park; a daughter, Judy Eads of Midland, Texas; three brothers, Grover Cleveland of Torrance, Calif., Glenn and Walter, both of Missouri; a sister, Alice Wymon of Missouri; two stepsons, Charles and Randall Steward, both of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Lois Lynn Bartosh
Lois Lynn Bartosh, 82, of Iowa Park died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in a local hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Iowa Park Church of Christ with Jeff Ratliff, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Downtown Chapel.
Mrs. Bartosh was born Oct. 19, 1915, in Saint Jo, Texas. Her husband, Buddy Lynn, died June 27, 1972. Her husband, Roman Bartosh, died June 19, 1991. She retired from the post office in June 1972 after 22 years of service. She was a member of the Iowa Park Church of Christ and the Friendly Door of Iowa Park.
Survivors include a daughter, Gayla Daugherity of Iowa Park; a son, Harold Lynn of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Eddins of Iowa Park and Mrs. Jim Wilkerson of Breckenridge, Texas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Friendly Door of Iowa Park.

Brenda Goodner
Brenda Prescott Goodner, 36, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, at a local hospice center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel with the Rev. Harvey McMurray, pastor of City View Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Goodner was born June 25, 1962, in Wichita Falls. She had attended schools in Wichita Falls and Burkburnett. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Preston Leon Goodner; four daughters, Kimberly Hoover of Wichita Falls, Jamie of Holliday, Texas, Heather and Adriana, both of Seymour, Texas; a son, Jimmie Goodner of Holliday; her mother, Linda Hamilton of Wichita Falls; her father, Audry Prescott of Wichita Falls; her grandmother, Era Prescott; two brothers, Virgil and Mike Prescott, both of Hot Springs, Ark.; two stepbrothers, Rick Fielding of Wichita Falls and Jimmy Fielding of Oklahoma; and two stepsisters, Donna Fielding of Oklahoma and Tami Morrison of Wichita Falls.
The family will be at the funeral home from 4-5 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Walter F. ‘Jake’ Snody
OLNEY, Texas – Walter F. ‘Jake’ Snody, 84, of Olney died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in an Olney nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lunn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Johnson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Mr. Snody was born Sept. 1, 1913, in Vera, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he was a past Sunday School teacher, the Downtown Men’s Bible Class and the Olney Lions Club. He was the owner and operator of W.F. Snody Gulf Service Station. He had been an Olney resident since 1945. Infant twin daughters died on Nov. 19, 1955.
Survivors include two brothers, Doyle of Midland, Texas, and Billy D. of Rowlett, Texas; and two sisters, Betty Jean Lake of Mesquite, Texas, and Corine Hamilton of Fort Worth.

Robert M. Dismukes
LAWTON, Okla. – Robert Marion Dismukes, 48, of Chattanooga, Okla., died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, in a local care center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Chattanooga Cemetery with Bruce Colyer, a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church of Grandfield, Okla., officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Mr. Dismukes was born Jan. 14, 1950, in Lamesa, Texas. He moved to the Hollister, Okla., and Chattanooga area in the 1950’s where he grew up and attended schools. He was a farmer and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a member of the Hollister Baptist Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Daniel of Chattanooga, David of Lawton, and Hugh of El Paso; and two sisters, Barbara Foster of Chattanooga and Valerie Coleman of Hamilton, Miss.

Clyde C. Fletcher
ROCHESTER, Texas – Clyde C. Fletcher, 73, died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in a Haskell, Texas, nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Rochester Cemetery with Dale Huff officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Fletcher was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Haskell County, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. He had recently returned to Rochester from Fort Worth. He was a Methodist and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Bailey of Monarch Beach, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Jan Almquist of Bishop, Calif., and Sherry Seymour of San Diego; a brother, Joe of Rochester; and one grandchild.

Jewel Smith
PADUCAH, Texas – Jewel Smith, 90, of Paducah died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in a Childress, Texas, hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah with the Rev. Sam Crosby, pastor of First Baptist Church of Paducah, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home.
Miss Smith was born Feb. 9, 1908, in Burnville, Okla. She moved to Cottle County in 1911. She operated a café in Paducah until she retired. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paducah.
Survivors include several cousins, including Mrs. L.C. Rogers of Lubbock, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the Paducah Cemetery Association.

Teresa Ann Emanuel
IOWA PARK – Teresa Ann Putman Emanuel, 39, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Corne, of Wichita Falls, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Emanuel was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Wichita Falls. She and Terry Lee Emanuel Sr. had been married for 24 years. She was a homemaker. She was a lifetime resident of Wichita Falls and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald Dwayne and Terry Lee Jr., both of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Sharon Renae Wood of Wichita Falls; a sister, Patsy Bagley of Balch Springs, Texas; a brother, Ronnie Putman of Wichita Falls; and five grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 3-6 p.m. today and from 8:30-9 a.m. Monday.

Katie Lou Waldron
WAURIKA, Okla. - Katie Lou Waldron, 86, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in a Waurika hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with the Rev. Tim Bowen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Willis C. Worley & Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Waldron was born Dec. 28, 1911, near Stephenville, Texas. She and T.B. Waldron were married Sept. 27, 1937, in Ardmore, Okla. He died July 11, 1990. She moved from Texas to Oklahoma as a child and graduated from Waurika High School in 1929. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waurika and a member of the Esther Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a daughter, Trudie Brown of Irving, Texas; two sisters, Faye Imogene Schwartz of Waurika and Louis Walker of Comanche, Okla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Opal F. Byrom
ARCHER CITY, Texas - Opal F. Byrom, 87, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in a Greenville, Texas, nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Archer City with Roger Deerinwater, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.
Mrs. Byrom was born April 15, 1911, in Archer County. She and Cecil M. Byrom were married May 14, 1931, in Cyril, Okla. He died Jan. 8, 1987. She lived in Montague County, Texas, from 1933-72, when she returned to Archer City. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Archer City. A grandson, Dennis, died Jan. 21, 1982.
Survivors include two sons, Dale of Midland, Texas, and Cecil L. of Greenville; a daughter, Paula Gilliland of Keyes, Okla.; a sister, Myrtle Trent of Petrolia, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Archer City Cemetery Association, PO Box 198, Archer City, Texas 76351.
