Toni Kinnett Rangel
Toni Kinnett Rangel, 50, of Burkburnett died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Central Baptist Church of Burkburnett with the Rev. Lamoin Champ of Nocona and the Rev. Duane Perkinson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Burkburnett Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Mrs. Rangel was born Aug. 2, 1948, in Wichita Falls. She and Freddy Rangel Sr. were married Sept. 27, 1980. She was a lifetime resident of Burkburnett, attended all Burkburnett schools, was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Burkburnett.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Darla Vieth of Burkburnett; two stepdaughters, Yvonne Kinnett and Nita Rangel, both of Wichita Falls; four stepsons: Julian, Shannon, and Freddy Jr., all of Wichita Falls, and Joey Sanchez of Sikeston, Mo.; two sons, Ronnie Ebner of Holliday and Michael Ebner of Burkburnett; three brothers: Darrell Kinnett, Dewayne Kinnett and Davey Kinnett, all of Wichita Falls; and 15 grandchildren.

Bertha E. Garrett
OLNEY, Texas - Bertha E. Garrett, 88, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, in an Olney nursing home.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Lunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery.
Mrs. Garrett was born Oct. 23, 1909, in Parker County, Texas. She and Ben Garrett were married Jan. 23, 1925, in Seymour, Texas. He died Feb. 3, 1987. She moved from Goree, Texas, to Olney in 1932. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church. A daughter, Frankie Ann DeLoach, died Sept. 1, 1984. Survivors include two sons, Benny of Jacksboro, Texas, and Henry of Lefors, Texas; a daughter, Marzell Hall of Olney; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Ernest W. Barrow
Ernest Woodrow Barrow, 81, of Wichita Falls, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel with the Rev. Kipp Wolfe, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mr. Barrow was born Nov. 16, 1916, in Crowder, Okla. He and Vergie Mae Stearman were married March 7, 1942, in Wichita Falls. Following service in the Air Force, he was a sales representative for the New York firm of Lisner Jewelry. In the late 1970s, he opened the Pants Celler, a local clothing store, and he was known throughout the Wichita Falls area as the "King of Jeans." He was a member of First Christian Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Maskat Shrine Temple.
Survivors include his wife; twin sons, Bill of Birmingham, Ala., and Bob of Wichita Falls; a sister, Lucille Emory of Winnsbro, Texas; five granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.
The family will at the Funeral Home today from 7-8 p.m. for visitation.
The family will be at 2911 McNiel.

Phyllis Ann Johnston
Phyllis Ann West Johnston, 60, of Yukon, Okla., died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, in Oklahoma.
Services were Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnston was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Wink, Texas. Her husband, Allen K. Johnston, died Oct. 9, 1993. She was a registered nurse, and was director of nurses at Clinics of North Texas in Wichita Falls. She was a member of the American Heart Association, Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas, Shannon Alumini, Wink High School Alumini, Red River Renegades, Auxiliary FOE #3580 and of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Sandeen of Savannah, Ga., and Karen Bubb of Yukon, Okla.; a son, Darrel Johnston of Hermiston, Ore.; a brother, Richard R. West of Wichita Falls; and nine grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 1708 Dayton, Wichita Falls, 76302; Wesley United Methodist Church, 1526 Weeks, Wichita Falls, 76302; or Scholarship for Phyllis Johnston RN Scholarship Fund, Clinics of North Texas.

Virginia Lee Shane
FREDERICK, Okla. - Virginia Lee Rodgers Shane, 57, of Davidson, Okla., died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, in Duncan, Okla.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Davidson, with the Rev. Ronnie Chadwick, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Gish Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shane was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Elmore City, Okla. She and Howard E. Rodgers were married May 4, 1958, in Frederick, Okla. He died in September 1990. She lived in Tillman County for 20 years and attended Davidson schools. She and Jerry Shane were married June 17, 1995. She was a certified medicine administrator for nursing homes. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jefferson Rodgers of Augusta, Ga., Dustin of Oklahoma City and Alvis of Midwest City, Okla.; a daughter, Sheri Franks of Moore, Okla.; a brother, Floyd Travis of Davidson; three sisters, Laveta Vosbargh of Duncan, Ophelia Wheeler of San Antonio and Ritta Oxley of Sulfer, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Davidson.

Ellie Etta 'Babe' Glenn
TIPTON, Okla. - Ellie Etta "Babe" Glenn, 87, of Tipton died Sunday, Oct, 4, 1998, in Lindsay, Okla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Assembly of God Church in Tipton with the Rev. James Eubank, pastor, and the Rev. Eddie Ince officiating. Burial will be in Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Tipton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Glenn was born Oct. 17, 1910, in Madill, Okla. She and Edd Glenn were married Aug. 17, 1928, in Madill. He died May 10, 1943. She had been a Tillman County resident for 50 years. She was a member of Tipton Assembly of God and was the song leader for many years.
Survivors include a son, Norris Bob of Weatherford, Texas, a daughter, Mary Jones of Elmore City, Okla.; five brothers, Sonny Looney of Bennington, Okla., Floyd Looney of Madill, Billy Ray Looney of Decatur, Texas, Delmas Looney of Alvord, Texas, and Herschel Looney of Bunch, Okla.; three sisters, Virgie Wolfe of Frederick, Okla., Francis Watkins of Bochito, Okla., and Margaret Adams of Chichasha, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Assembly of God Church of Tipton.

Orville B. Barrett
VERNON, Texas - Orville B. Barrett, 87, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, in his Vernon home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sullivan Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Prince, pastor of First Baptist Church of Vernon, officiating. Burial will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park.
Mr. Barrett was born April 16, 1911, in Wilbarger County, Texas. He and Flora Ivy were married Dec. 20, 1935, in Vernon He was a retired wheat and cotton farmer and former owner of South Main Tractor Repair Shop in Vernon. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vernon. His daughter, Dianne Brown, died in 1989.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Karen McGee of Irving, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Golden Wings Hospice Foundation.

William Howard Dugan
WALTERS, Okla. - William Howard Dugan, 88, of Ryan, Okla., died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998 in a Ryan nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Walters Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Waitman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home.
Mr. Dugan was born June 24, 1910, in Walters. He and Mildred Price were married in 1956 in Wichita Falls. He grew up south of Walters and lived in the area for many years where he farmed and ranched. He moved to Magnolia and then to Crockett, Texas, where he worked at his brother's ranch. He returned to Walters and then moved to Ryan where he had lived for the past 13 years. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Tomball, Texas.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Bergeron of Ryan and Linda Martin of Beaumont, Texas; a sister, Lucille VanLahr of Irvington, Ky.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren- and three great-great-grandchildren.

Earl T. Eubanks
CROWELL, Texas - Earl T. Eubanks, 82, died Sunday, October 4, 1998, in a Fort Worth nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Womack-Manard Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crowell Cemetery.
Mr. Eubanks was born March 19, 1916, in Madill, Okla. He and Mary Ford were married Nov. 22, 1941, in Vernon, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Crowell before moving to Fort Worth in the 1970s. He became a Christian when he was 13 years old and attended the Assembly of God Church. He was the sexton of the Crowell Cemetery for many years and was a retired church custodian.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carolyn Olson of Ardmore, Okla., and Delores Lane of Picayune, Miss.; two sons, Jerry of Bedford, Texas, and Michael of Fort Worth; a sister, Hazel Duncan of Dallas; a brother, Ellis of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Tommy Lynn Moore
SEYMOUR, Texas - Tommy Lynn Moore, 40, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in his Seymour home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. James Ezzell officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Seymour under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore was born Nov. 11, 1957, in Seymour. He graduated from Seymour High School in 1976. He lived in Wichita Falls for 18 years and worked for various construction companies. He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Seymour.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas L. and Vita Moore of Seymour; a brother, Darrell Moore of Seymour; and two sisters, Debbie West of Archer County, Texas, and Teresa Sturgeon of Moore, Okla.
Memorials may be made to Hospice, PO Box 4804, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6:30-8 p.m. tonight.

Wallene Roberts
Nocona, Texas -- Wallene Roberts, 85, of Nocona, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in a Henrietta hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church in Nocona, with the Rev. Weldon Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roberts was born Nov. 12, 1912, in Fastland, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond White of Nocona and Jerry White of Haltom City, Texas; a sister, Frankie Overstreet of Ryan, Okla.; two brothers, Autry Mansker of Lubbock, Texas, and Doyle Mansker of California; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Jess W. Gary
Jess W. Gary, 91, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in a Wichita Falls nursing home.
Graveside services were Monday in Crestview Memorial Park with Les McGalliard officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.
Mr. Gary was born July 22, 1907, in Tioga, Texas. He was farmer.
Survivors include a son, Charles R. of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Maye Richards of Denton, Texas, and Zelma Ruth Young of Dallas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Terry Glenn Hail Sr.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Terry Glenn Hail Sr., 49, of Syracuse died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998 in a Syracuse hospital.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church of Iowa Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Mr. Hail was born Jan. 26, 1949, in Iowa Park. He graduated from Iowa Park High School and served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam. He worked as an auto mechanic at Century Transportation in Syracuse.
Survivors include his wife Sherlene Hail of Syracuse; a daughter, Angela Hail of Syracuse; two sons, Terry Jr. of Syracuse and Mike Hail of Shawnee, Okla.; a brother, Gordon Clyde Hail of Houston; two sisters, Wanda Phillips of Iowa Park and Linda Blevins of League City, Texas.

Norris Allen Reser
SNYDER, Okla. - Norris Allen Reser, 98, Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at South Side Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Denham, pastor, and Pete Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Preston-Leckie Funeral Home.
Mr. Reser was born March 22, 1900, in Topeka, Kan. He and Vivian Pike were married in 1921. She died in 1992. He moved with his family to Oklahoma in 1907 and settled on a farm where he farmed all of his life. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and was a part of the community activities.
Survivors include two sons, Don of Snyder and Norman of Wichita Falls; a sister, Rachel Thatcher of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Fairlawn and Rogers Cemeteries.

Betty Jo Leatherbury
IRVING, Texas - Betty Jo Leatherbury, 70, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, in an Irving nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Calvary Temple in Irving. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving under the direction of Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Leatherbury was born April 23, 1928, in Wichita Falls. She and Phineas Loyd Leatherbury were married March 10, 1945, in Fairfield, Calif. She retired in 1996 from being a manager at Thousand Oaks Mobile Home Park. She had lived in Irving for 35 years.
Survivors include her husband; a son, William Leatherbury of Davis, Okla.; two daughters, Sherry Louise Caillet and Janet Williams both of Gordonville, Texas; a brother, Raymond Long of Irving; two sisters, Mavis Donelson and Helen Carver both of Irving.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Freddie Masias
MUNDAY, Texas - Freddie Masias, 43, died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, in a Fort Worth hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Munday First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rigaberto Contreras officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Masias was born Sept. 19, 1955, in Knox City, Texas. He and Nancy Wolfe were married Sept. 4, 1980, in Wichita Falls. He was an umpire for the Mineral Wells, Texas, Little League Association and had lived in Mineral Wells since 1982, moving from Wichita Falls.
Survivors include his wife; a mother, Eva Gonzales Masia of Munday; four daughters, Cindy Masias, Christy Masias and Kimberly Baker, all of Mineral Wells and Leslie Masias of Irving, Texas; three sons, Jimmy Guerrero of Abilene, Texas, Alfred Masias of Munday, Texas and Timothy Wayne Masias of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Betsy Arismendez and Audelia Guzman, both of Goree, Texas; three brothers, Frank Masias of Haskell, Texas, Andy Masias of Huntsville, Texas and Dennis Masias of Munday, Texas; and eleven grandchildren.

Edith Bachman
THROCKMORTON, Texas -- Edith Bachman, 96, of Throckmorton died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, in her residence.
Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. yesterday at the Throckmorton Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Sebesta of Graham officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Merriman-Archer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bachman was born March 12, 1902, in Throckmorton. She and Gordon Bachman were married in 1920 in Throckmorton. He died Nov. 12, 1956. She had been a lifelong resident of Throckmorton. She and Gordon were engaged in farming and ranching for a number of years before his death. After his death she continued farming and ranching. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. A son, Addison, died April 22, 1945. A daughter, Edith Gale Condron, died April 2, 1998.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth and John, both of Throckmorton, and R.B. of South Bend, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Laura J McKee
Laura J. McKee, 25, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Wichita Falls, with the Rev. Aidan Donlon, and deacon Richard Arndt officiating. Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas, under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Mrs. McKee was born June 13, 1973, in Wichita Falls. She attended Henrietta Schools and graduated from Cummingham Special Education Center. She worked at the V.E.C. Enterprises. She was a Catholic. Her mother, Carleen Berend McKee died July 25, 1998.
Survivor include her father, Richard McKee; a sister, Karen Beaman of Wichita Falls; her grandmother, Grace Berend Frerich of Scotland, Texas; and her grandparents, G.A. and Anna Lou McKee of Wichita Falls.
The family will be at the funeral home at 7 p.m. tonight for visitation.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association 1708 Dayton, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301.

James Cube Loveless Jr.
Quanah, Texas -- James Cube "Toar" Loveless Jr., 73, of Quanah, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Price-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Quanah Memorial Park under the direction of Price-Jackson Funeral Home.
Mr. Loveless was born July 30, 1925, in Chillicothe, Texas. He and Pauline Knowles were married in 1973 in Quanah. He was a army veteran of World War II serving in the Battle of the Buldge and at Normandy Beach. He farmed and ranched and was a lifetime Hardeman County resident. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Eldorado, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, David Knowles of Quanah, and John L. Knowles of Amarillo; four brothers, O.W. of Wichita Falls, Frank of Clinton, Okla., Gerald of Little Elms, Texas, and D.A. of Quanah; three sisters, Mary Lyde of Dallas, Chrys Foster of Strasburg, Va., and Fairris Taylor of Stallisaw, Okla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
