ORRVILLE -- Ralph L. Studer, 79, 142 N. Linden Ave., died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998, at Akron General Medical Center, after a long illness. Services will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Orrville Church of Christ on North Elm Street in Orrville, with Pastor David Daum officiating. Burial will be at East Chippewa Church Cemetery near Smithville. Friends may call tonight (Monday) from 6-9 at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, or one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Kidney Center, Wooster Community Hospital, 1761 Beall Ave., Wooster 44691. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Cindy Studer of Wadsworth, Terry and Penny Studer of Sterling, R. Edward and Janet Studer and Fred and Pam Studer, all of Orrville, Keith and Jane Studer of Creston and Tim and Lisa Studer of Hampton, Conn.; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A sister, Catherine Studer and two grandchildren died previously. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and was loved by all.

MILLERSBURG -- Dena Yoder, 85, 7743 County Road 77, (near Mount Hope), died Saturday evening, Oct. 24, at her home after a long illness. Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Levi Troyer officiating. Burial will be at Stutzman Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County. Surviving are children, Eli Yoder of Ashland, Albert Yoder of Apple Creek, Mrs. Mike (Edna) Miller of the home and Mrs. Andy (Mary) Yoder of Dalton; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.

KILLBUCK -- Russell L. "Skeeter" Smith, 46, of Killbuck, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998, at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg, after a short illness. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Killbuck Cemetery, with the Rev. Joanna Lance officiating. There will be no calling hours. Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, is handling arrangements. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Lee (Kellie) Hantzsche of Holmesville; granddaughters, Kayla and Kaitlynn; his mother of Millersburg; and sisters, Mrs. Lonnie (Cindy) Swartzentruber of Berlin and Mrs. Willie (Peggy) Miller of New Philadelphia. His father and a brother died previously.

LOUDONVILLE -- Ira D. Eppard, 81, 443 N. Wood St., died Sunday evening, Oct. 25, at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, after an extended illness. GLENMONT -- Ethel M. Walker Brown, 85, 12804 Township Road 21, formerly of Sebring, died Sunday, Oct. 25, at the home of her stepdaughter in Glenmont. Private services will be held. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Sebring. Arrangements are being handled by Johnston-Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve. Surviving are her husband, Edmund R. Brown, whom she married Oct. 17, 1988; a stepdaughter, Patsy Walker of Glenmont and a son, Robert M. Walker of Loudonville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rhea Gerrard of Canfield and Ruth Hart of Florida.

AKRON -- Gerald F. "Jerry" Smith, 62, 513 Ohio St., formerly of Rittman, died Monday, Oct. 26, at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron. MEDINA -- Cleora M. Hamilton, 78, died Friday, Oct. 23, at Samaritan Care Center in Medina, after a long illness. She was formerly of West Salem. Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at West Salem United Methodist Church, with a fellowship supper to follow. KIMBOLTON -- Donn Stark Frambes, 47, of Kimbolton, died Monday, Oct. 26, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Cambridge. WEST LEBANON -- Zola O. Keister Sr., 80, of West Lebanon, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Doctors Hospital in Massillon, following an extended illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church in Brewster with the Rev. Robert Kaylor officiating. Burial will be in Fredericksburg East Cemetery. He married Martha A. Oravetz on March 11, 1943. She died Oct. 17, 1998. William Davis Jr.
WOOSTER -- William Davis Jr., 72, 2306 Grandview Ave., died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at Wooster Community Hospital. Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home with Father John Mueller officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. Services will begin Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Ferfolia Funeral Home in Sagamore Hills and Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Northfield Center at 10 a.m. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield Center. Friends may call Friday from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Surviving in addition to his sister are his wife, Jeanette (Pothast) Fortman; children, Cynthia A. (Dominic Jr.) Alosi of Scottsdale, Ariz., William A. (Tracy) Fortman of Springfield, Va.; Gregory J. (Joanne) Fortman Sr. of Cuyahoga Falls, Dean A. Fred Swinehart
WOOSTER -- Fred E. Swinehart, 86, 1080-19 Country Club Drive, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Westview Manor Nursing Home. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ with the Rev. Dr. James Christensen and the Revs. Dariel Kaiser and Glenn Royer officiating. ARCADIA, Calif. -- Evelyn Sands, 91, of Arcadia, Calif. died Monday, Oct. 19, at her home. Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Harold Everhart
TUSCARAWAS -- Harold F. Everhart, 89, of Tuscarawas, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Country Club Retirement Center in Dover. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with the Rev. Fred Grosse officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. He married Mary Steely on Oct. 12, 1940. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Alan (Linda) Everhart of New Philadelphia; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter and a sister, Ruth Levengood of Sugarcreek.

DALTON -- Clara Audrey (Adkins) Coburn Hardman, 59, 372 High St., went to be with the Lord at Aultman Hospital, Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, after an extended illness. Services will be Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at 1 p.m. at Hardman Chapel Church in Smithville, W.Va., where friends may call Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Rev. David S. Adkins will officiate. Burial will be at Hardman Chapel Church Cemetery. Local calling hours will be Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, from noon-2 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville. Hardman of Dalton; children, John E. Coburn Jr. and Susan (Gary) Myers, both of Killbuck, Sarah (George) Hunt of Wooster, Penny (Don) Rule of Moreland, Gloria (Tom) Deusenberry of Orrville, Ellen (John) Lyons of Statesville, N.C., and Elisabeth (Philip) Poling of East Canton; 17 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Ann Baisden of Coshocton; and brothers, Cebert (Joyce) Adkins of Huntington, W.Va., Edward (Lucy) Adkins of Chillicothe, Clarence Adkins of Highland Park, Mich., David (Isabelle) Adkins of Killbuck and Cletis (O'Dessa) Adkins of Wooster. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. She was previously married to John E. Coburn Sr. of Wooster, who also survives.

Susan Warnes
SALEM, S.C. -- Susan Keller Warnes, 62, wife of Gordon C. Warnes, 6 Harbour View Drive, Salem, S.C., passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca, S.C. She was formerly of Wayne County. Memorial services will be Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, at 11 a.m. at Walhalla Presbyterian Church in South Carolina. Davenport Funeral Home in Walhalla, S.C., is handling arrangements. Local memorial services will be announced at a later date in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a local American Cancer Society, or to Hospice. Surviving in addition to her husband, are daughters, Ellen Warnes Winkler of Wooster and Julia Warnes Slutz of Covington, Ga.; grandchildren, Jaime Lynne Winkler and Bryan William Winkler, both of Wooster; and sisters, Patricia Martin of Rocky River, Mary Fitzgibbons of Sarasota, Fla., and Jane Houston of Mount Lebanon, Pa.

MASSILLON -- Emma Jane Kienzle, 78, of Massillon, died Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 28, at her residence after a long illness. She was the mother and mother-in-law of Roger and Carol Kienzle Jr. of Wooster. Services were held today, Oct. 30, at 1 at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The Rev. Thomas Cebula officiated. Burial was at Brookfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Columbia Mercy Medical Center Hospice, 1445 Harrison Ave., NW, Suite 201, Canton 44705. Surviving in addition to her son, daughter-in-law and husband are a daughter, Joanne Maupin of Massillon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Baker of Brewster.

Noah Anderson
NAPPANEE, Ind. -- Noah Anderson, 79, of Nappanee, Ind., died Thursday, Oct. 29. Services and burial will be held in Nappanee, Ind. Surviving in addition to his wife are 10 children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Eli Anderson of Holmesville; and sisters, Mrs. William C. (Anna) Yoder of Holmesville and Mrs David (Millie) Hostetler of Kokomo, Ind.

Lawrence Blosser
RITTMAN -- Lawrence Blosser, 88, formerly of Rittman, died Friday, Oct. 30, at the Smithville-Western Care Center. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman with Tom Benter officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville. Friends may call from 12:30-2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. He was born on Feb. 16, 1910 in Roane County, W.Va. to David and Eva (Schoolcraft) Blosser, and lived most of his life in the Rittman area. Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Farley) Blosser of Little Hocking; daughters, Pauline (Leslie) Gaugler of Akron, and Suddie (Russell) Lengacher of Wooster; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Willis Gerber
DALTON -- Willis L. Gerber, 88, of Dalton, died Friday morning, Oct. 30, at the Lincoln Manor in Orrville, where he had resided since April 1997. Services will be Monday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. at the Kidron Mennonite Church with the Rev. Herman Myers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton, or one hour before services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidron Mennonite Church, P. O. Box 232, Kidron 44636. He was born Feb. 3, 1910 on the home farm east of Kidron to the late Jacob M. and Lina (Sommer) Gerber, and was baptized April 15, 1927. On Sept. 13, 1931, he married Selma I. Sommer, who survives. Also surviving are three sons and a daughter, Harold (Margaret) Gerber, Don (Pam) Gerber, and Joanne Gerber, all of Dalton and Dr. Robert (Julia) Gerber of Sugarcreek; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

John Taggert
WOOSTER -- John Gailey Taggert, 84, formerly of DeWitte St., died Thursday, Oct. 29, at Westview Manor Nursing Home. Memorial service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wooster Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Petterson officiating. Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. He was born June 3, 1914 to Harry and Helen (McCance) Taggert.
