Millard Cornett, 63, 803 Michigan St., died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at 8:20 a.m. at Upper Valley Medical Center.

Age: 89
PIQUA - Hazel Preas, 89, of Piqua, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, at Upper Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, with burial following in Pearl Cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be conducted at noon Wednesday in the funeral home.

Age: 84
A. Paul Stehle, 84, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003 at Lutheran Village of Columbus.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, from 4-8 p.m. at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Family will also receive friends at 10 a.m. until the time of service at church Wednesday.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 2314 E. Main St., Bexley, with Pastors Thomas L. Hudson, Dennis R. King and Gerald D. Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Lucille Bowersock Duffy
Died: Friday, August 15, 2003
Age: 88
WAPAKONETA - Lucille Bowersock Duffy, 88, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at 9:30 p.m. in Auglaize Acres.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery near New Hampshire. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at St. James Community Church, Troy, with Pastor Vickie Evans officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements are by Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.

Age: 81
ST. MARYS - Arthur L. Rogers, 81, of 618 W. High St., died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at 8 p.m. in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Bros.-Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St. The Rev. Dale Mangen will officiate. Burial will follow at the Neptune Cemetery in Neptune. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 5 to 8 p.m.

Donald A. Jacoby

Age: 48
PIQUA - Donald A. Jacoby, 48, died on Aug. 3, 2003 at his residence.
A memorial service will be conducted on Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. at the Upper Valley Community Church, 1400 Siedel Parkway, Piqua, with Pastor Paul Jetter officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Vernie L. Sullivan

PIQUA - Vernie L. Sullivan, 84, of Piqua, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at 5 a.m. in her residence.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, with the Rev. Steven Sykes and Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

WINTON PLACE - Louise Hauschildt Werner, widowed after 58 years of marriage to John C. Werner, was the loving mother of Susan Louise Melter and mother-in-law of the Rev. James C. F. Melter, pastor of the Immauel United Church of Christ in Kettlersville.
Friends may call at Chas. A. Miller Sons Funeral Home, 4138 Hamilton Ave. at Knowlton St., Northside, today from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service at the Memorial Mausoleum Chapel of Spring Grove Cemetery.

Etheline Hurley

Etheline (Smiley) Hurley of 777 Clarendon Road, Troy, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at her residence.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, Troy by Pastor Charles Carnes and the Rev. Ivan W. Lowery. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
Friends may call two hours prior to service, from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ, 1624 N. County Road 25A, Troy.
Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
