CHRISTIANSBURG - Junie L. Fairchild, 88, of Christiansburg, passed away unexpectedly in her residence on Thursday, July 17, 2003. She was born in Bonanza, Ky. on Sept. 23, 1914, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Elizabeth Jane (Leek) Snipes.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 11 a.m. in the Richeson-Wickham and Atkins Funeral Home, St. Paris, with Elder Denver Caudill officiating. Burial will take place in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery near Christiansburg. Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. on Monday from in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Junie's name to the Christiansburg Fire Department, P.O. Box 300, Christiansburg, OH 45389. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

TROY - George Edward Small, 73, of Troy, died at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Upper Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, at Baird Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stephen Zimbelman and the Rev. Michael Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

TROY - Mary Jane Jackson, 79, of 163 N. Dorset Road, died Thursday, July 17, 2003 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.
A funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, July 22, at Richards Chapel United Methodist Church, Troy, with Pastor Denise James officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Richards Chapel United Methodist Church, Troy.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.

FORT LORAMIE - Florence R. Gray, 73, 350 Greenback Road, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, at 3:55 a.m. in Heritage Manor Nursing Center, where she had lived for seven months. She was a resident of Fort Loramie for two years. She had been seriously ill for three years.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church, with the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Calling hours are Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.

TIPP CITY - Anna M. Kerr, 91, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2003 at Springmeade Healthcenter, Tipp City.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 21 at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 6699 N. High St., Worthington, with Pastor VanGorden officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Fairview Memorial Park, Delaware, Ohio. Arrangements are in charge of Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home.,Troy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, with the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will be in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

DAYTON - Ivo J. Sherman Jr., 47, 3322 Rolfe Ave., formerly of Sidney, died at his residence on Wednesday, July 16, 2003, around 4:30 a.m. He died of pancreatic cancer.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 21, 2003, at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, with the Rev. Gerald Bensman presiding.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service, which is noon.
Place of burial will be Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Assembly Room of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Christ in New Bremen, with Rev. Dr. Richard Weir officiating. Mrs. Scheer's body was cremated. Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at Mount Zion Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2003, at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio.

Services will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church by the Rev. Steven Shoup. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, McCartyville, with full military services by the Fort Loramie American Legion.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

William M. Utley Sr.

William M. Utley Sr., 74, father of Robert M. Utley of Sidney, died Monday, July 14, 2003 at 6:37 p.m. at Geauga Hospital in Chardon. He had been a resident of Burton Health Care Center in Burton.
Services will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Boyd Funeral Home in Marion by the Rev. Fred Buckner.
Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.

JACKSON CENTER - Mary A. Kitchen Miars, 74, of Jackson Center died Monday, July 14, 2003 at 3:39 a.m. in St. Rita's Medical Center.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in Maplewood United Methodist Church. Pastor William Halter will conduct the service. The cremated remains will be buried in Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday.
