FORT RECOVERY - Judith C. "Judy" Ditmer, 62, sister of Sue Borchers of Russia, died Thursday, July 10 at 9:30 p.m. at Gardens at St. Henry where she resided. She was a former resident of Fort Recovery.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mary Help of Christian Church by the Rev. Carl Wise. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.

Age: 81
Bernadine "Birdie" Gates, 81, 210 Doorley Road, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 10, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. in her residence as the result of a house fire.
A memorial service will be held on July 19 at 5 p.m. in First Christian Church, with the Rev. Janet Mers officiating. There will be no calling hours.

Carolyn M. "Skip" Haar, 90, formerly of Neill Avenue, Walbridge, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 12, 2003, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stony Ridge, where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating will be Pastor H. Rust. Internment will be in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey.
Visitation will be conducted Friday, July 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Luckey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11 from 5-8 p.m. in Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with President Jim Chrisman of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints presiding. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church Monday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
