Roger Harwerth, pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Borger, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Joe C. Mason, 65, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001. Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Seaside Chapel. Burial was at Seaside Memorial Park with arrangements under the direction of Seaside Memorial Park and Funeral Home.

Pearl Ethel Hicks
Pearl Ethel Hicks, 91, died Friday, March 23, 2001, in Panhandle. Services are pending with Minton - Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jean James, 72, died Friday, March 23, 2001, in Borger. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bunavista Baptist Church with Rev. David Langen, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in "The Garden of Devotion" at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton - Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

W.P. "Bill" Winn, 85, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, in Amarillo. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown’s Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, Kan., under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

DECATUR – Charlene Marie Thames, 66, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in Decatur. Services were at 11 a.m. today at the Holy Trinity Catholic in Azle with Father Salvador Steflua, officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur under the direction of Coker Funeral Home.

J.C. Slakey, 83, died Monday, March 26, 2001, in San Antonio. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ronald E. Ellington, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors.

James Mitchell of Immanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home of San Angelo.

FRITCH – William Lee "Bill" Hamilton, 60, died Monday, March 26, 2001, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of Fritch Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in "The Garden of Love" at West Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton - Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

David Wayne Alexander "Big Al"
David Alexander, 62, passed away Sunday, March 25th, 2001, at his home in Borger, Texas. David was a member of the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge and a lifetime member of the First Christian Church. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church. Arrangements are by Brown’s Funeral Home.
