Jacqueline Heck Cuddy of 3810 Sunset Drive, Susquehanna Township, died Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in her home after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was retired from the Mortgage Department of Mellon Bank and an active member of Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church Harrisburg and a volunteer for the American Lung Association.
She is survived by her husband William C. Cuddy; two sons Brian D. and his wife Cheryl Cuddy, Dauphin and Dr. Michael A. Cuddy, Pittsburgh; one brother, Grant Heck, Quakertown; two grandchildren, Jaimee and Brett Cuddy.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg with the Rev. Keith Olivier, Interim Pastor, Officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a..m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.

Thomas M. Brennan
Thomas M. Brennan, age 59, of Derry Township and formerly of Williamsport, died Friday, February 27, 2004 in his home.
He was the former vice president of sales with Shop-Vac Corporation, Williamsport and retired owner/operator of the original Accents Classic Floral Design, Middletown and member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. He was an avid amateur photographer, watercolor artist and enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his wife, having just celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary, Ann M. Spath Brennan; two daughters Beth Brennan Manbeck, Mifflintown and Laura Mitchell, Bethlehem; four grandchildren and one brother, John J. Brennan, Elmira, NY.
FUNERAL SERVICES: A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Private inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in Resurrection Cemetery. A private viewing will be held. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

Alfred R. Winegar
Alfred R. "Al" Winegar, 78, of Swatara Township and formerly of Harrisburg, died Friday, February 27, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired electrical motor mechanic for Heim Electric and a retired owner and operator of Al's Sharpening Service, both of Harrisburg. He was a member of St. Michael Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harrisburg, where he participated on numerous committees and held various positions during his membership. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and member of VFW Post #710, Steelton.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret M. Grundon Winegar; his daughter, Mindy Beth Winegar Good; great-grandson, Brian Wissler-Good and additional family members. He is survived by one son, Michael R. Winegar and his wife, Michele of Swatara Township; four granddaughters, Melissa, Jennifer, Stephanie and Rachael; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2004 at 11 a.m., in St. Michael Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harrisburg, with Rev. Dr. Russell H. Mueller, his pastor officiating. Burial in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. There is no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

Rose B. Handley
Rose B. Olsavsky Handley, 98, of 432 North Third Street, Steelton, died Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
She was the widow of Gilbert F. Handley and is survived by two sons, Richard J. and his wife, Ty Handley and Victor J. and his wife, Kathleen Handley, both of Steelton; a daughter, Kathleen R. and her husband, Kenneth L. Hallman of Harrisburg; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Frank Krobath, John Zerance and Thomas Rodgers. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Elizabeth A. Krobath, Rose Marie Zerance and Patricia A. Rodgers.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. John A. Szada, Jr., and Rev. Samuel E. Houser, as concelebrants. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9 until 10 a.m. on Monday, in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton.

William Lopez
William Lopez, 80, of Griffith House, 800 Wood Street, Steelton, died Monday, March 1, 2004 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish and a volunteer at Polyclinic Medical Center.
He was the widower of Geneva M. Porco Lopez and is survived by one son, Joseph M. Lopez and his wife, Vicki of Steelton; daughter-in-law, Kathy Lopez of Hershey; four grandchildren, Nikki L. Lopez and Jody M. Lopez, both of Steelton, William C. Lopez and David Lopez, both of Hershey. He was preceded in death by a son, William R. Lopez.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Kenneth G. Helen C. Spudic Vukmanic
Helen C. Spudic Vukmanic, 90, of Bressler, died Monday, March 1, 2004 in her home.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
She was the widow of Michael J. Vukmanic and is survived by three daughters, Roseann M. Vukmanic, with whom she resided, Justine R. Manski of Lower Swatara Twp., and Helen M. Rubinich of Bressler; three grandchildren, Andrew J. Manski of Harrison City, Zachary M. Rubinich of Phoenixville and Joshua M. Rubinich of West Conshohocken; and one great-granddaughter, Faith N. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas M. Manski.

Carrie A. Fure Julian, 87, of Spring Creek Rehab & Health Center and formerly of South Third Street, Steelton, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She was a retired seamstress at Harrisburg Children's Dress Co., a former member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Steelton and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish. She was a member of St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13, Croation Fraternal Union, Auxiliary of VFW Post 710, Women of the Moose Chapter 919, Steelton Italian Club, Guys and Dolls Travel Club and Merry Ann Senior Citizens Club, all of Steelton.
She is survived by two sons, Frank R. and his wife, Carolyn Julian of Harrisburg and Michael A. and his wife, Patricia Julian of Steelton; one brother, Raymond Fure of Middletown; one sister, Virginia Brechbiel of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Anthony Julian of Harrisburg, Lisa Julian of Elizabethtown, Mario Julian and Andrea Julian, both of Harrisburg and one great-grandson, Brandon Julian.

Anna Bele Ribaric
Anna Bele Ribaric, 86,of 6000 Chambers Hill Road, Swatara Township, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 in Blue Ridge Mountain Nursing Home.
She was the retired Division Coordinator for Lorain Community Hospital, Lorain, Ohio.
She was a former member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish and Mary Full of Grace Lodge No. 114, KSKJ, all of Steelton.
She was the widow of Frank Stefovic and Frank Ribaric and is survived by one son, Ronald Ribaric of Orlando, Florida; one sister, Catherine Cunjak of Bressler; one brother, Anthony Bele of Edgewater, Florida; two grandchildren, Brian and Lisa Ribaric and one great-grandson, Bradley Ribaric.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. He was a welder for Fleetwood Homes, Elizabethtown and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam L. Lara Amaguayo; one son, Daniel H. Amaguayo of Quito, Ecuador; two daughters, Carolina M. Amaguayo of Quito, Ecuador and Nuria E. Amaguayo, at home; his mother, Maria Coronado Amaguayo of Riobamba, Ecuador; four brothers, Manuel Amaguayo of Riobamba, Ecuador, Jose Amaguayo, Juan Amaguayo and Nestor Amaguayo, all of Quito, Ecuador; one sister, Lucila Giron of Riobamba, Ecuador.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Nikolai Bolschow
Nikolai Bolschow, 88, of 1605 Dean Mountain Road, Cleveland, Georgia, and formerly of Harrisburg, died Monday, March 15, 2004 in his home.
He was a retired artificial limb maker for Keystone Artificial Limb Co., Harrisburg and a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin.
He was the widower of Magdalena Bolschow and is survived by one son, Paul and his wife, Glenda Kozoroz, with whom he resided; one daughter, Natalie Fuchs of Camp Hill; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday in his church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.

Catherine J. Vergot Cordas, 89, of Steelton, died Monday, March 22, 2004 in the Harrisburg Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Milan Cordas. She is survived by one daughter, Geraldine J. Scrbacic; two grandchildren, Stefanie Legan and Vincent Scrbacic; two brothers, Fred Vergot of Harisburg and Francis Vergot of Florida; four sisters, Anna Cannon of West Virginia, Matilda Pilsitz of Steelton, Josephine Devlin of Arizona and Frances Rust of Nevada.

Earl E. Schreiber, 79, of Swatara Township, died Monday, March 22, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retried Security Officer with Tredegar Corporation, formerly Capitol Products; part-time school bus driver for Rohrer Bus Service; Constable for Swatara Township for numerous years; former Fire Chief and member of Oberlin Gardens Fire Company and a member of Dauphin County Volunteer Fireman's Association.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Schreiber. He is survived by his wife, Emma L. Schreiber; his step-children, Candy Farling of Enola, Linda Foltz of Halifax, Kathy Sweigard of Grantville, Robert Lamb, Jr., of Halifax and Barbara Stepp of Swatara Twp.; 12 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-granddaughter.
MEMORIAL SERVICES: Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 11 a.m., in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 South Second Street, Steelton, with the Most Rev. Michael J. Scalzi, officiating. Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery, Penbrook on Monday, March 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10-11 a.m., in the funeral home.

Wesley D. Elmer
Wesley D. "Danny" Elmer, 75, of Powells Valley and formerly of Lower Paxton Township, died Sunday, March 28, 2004 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
He was a retired patrolman for the Harrisburg City Police Department and a Dauphin County Security Guard. He also was a Security Officer for Weis Markets and Harrisburg Hospital. He was extremely active in local Republican Party politics and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church; the Capital City Lodge Fraternal Order of Police; Dauphin County Volunteer Fireman's Association; Cumberland Valley Fireman's Association; the Millersburg and Lykens Senior Citizen's Groups and a honorary member of the Pennsylvania Sheriff's Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Ann M. Barlek Elmer. He is survived by two daughters, Betty Ann Petroski of Middle Paxton Twp., Jenny L. Thomas of Lower Paxton Twp.; his companion, Judith March of Powells Valley and three grandsons, Patrick and Joseph Petroski and Eric Thomas.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 11 a.m., in Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Boulevard, with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence as celebrant. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Viewings will be held on Tuesday (today) from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m., in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg.

She was an employee of Highmark Blue Shield, Camp Hill.
She is survived by her parents, Harry L. and Joan C. Salinger Westenberger, with whom she lived; aunts, Connie L. Bowman, Tina M. Keiser, Charlotte A. Sersch and Shirley I. Miller; several additional aunts, uncles and cousins and her pet companion "Bunny".
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2004, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser as celebrant. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. on Thursday, in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton.
