Eileen M. Pollock Zajac, 70, of 20 North 12th Street, Lemoyne, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 in ManorCare Health Services, Camp Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Henry L. Zajac; one son, Gary Zajac and his wife, Jennifer of Susquehanna Twp.; a brother, Richard Pollock; two sisters, Ann Lucas and Emily Pavlakovic and a cousin, Florence Ceperich of Enhaut.

Christine A. Lappano Fitting
Christine A. Lappano Fitting, 64, of 1311 Norton Drive, Oberlin, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004 in her home.
She was a retired Management Analyst for D.D.R.E., New Cumberland, with 25 years of service and a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School, Class of 1957. She was a former member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Past President of the Parish Council of Catholic Women, the Susquehanna Club, two card clubs, an amateur artist and a member of People Living With Cancer and the Miraculous Medal Society.
She is survived by her husband, Monte R. Fitting; one son, Monte V. Fitting and his wife, Mary Ann of Middletown; one daughter, Christine M. Fitting of Camp Hill; two brothers, Vincent J. Lappano and his wife, Mary Lee of Steelton and Gilbert C. Lappano and his wife, Jacqueline of Chester Springs.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 5:30 until 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Joseph H. Attivo
Joseph H. Attivo, 83, of 3908 Brisban Street, Swatara Twp., died Saturday, May 22, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired computer analyst for New Cumberland Army Depot, an Army Veteran of World War II, serving as a Sergeant with the Tank Corps in the Philippines, Okinawa and Luzon. He was a 1938 graduate of Lewistown High School, where he was an outstanding athlete. He went on to play football with the farm team of the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was a former member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Steelton, its Holy Name Society, Over 50 Club, and active in Boy Scouts. He was a former midget baseball coach and a former member of Bishop Joseph T. Daley Council 3625 Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Mitzi) Matjasic Attivo; one son, Joseph R. Attivo of Harrisburg; three grandsons, Rick, Mike and Scott Attivo; one grandson, Evan; four sisters, Rose Palmeri of Steelton, Anne Attivo and Betty McCartney, both of Lewistown and Helen Dixson of Endicott, NY; one brother, Albert Attivo of Lewistown; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mildred L. Stulich Brady, 91, a resident of the Middletown Home for four months and formerly of Steelton, died Saturday, May 22, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was a former employee of the Hershey Chocolate Factory and a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin, its Senior Citizens and the Circle of Serbian Sisters.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Ann Brady and was the widow of Paul F. Brady, Sr. She is survived by one son, Paul F. Brady, Jr. and his wife, Harriet of Middletown; one daughter, Helen J. Lewis and her husband, Richard, Sr. of Camp Hill; one sister, Angeline Trovovich of CA; one brother, George Stulich of Colorado Springs, CO; five grandchildren, Paul F. Brady III, Cathy Manning, Gina Douty, Tina Sardano and Richard Lewis, Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was a retired employee of Cigna Insurance Company, a graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1941, and a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Harrisburg.
She was the widow of Harold C. Pluck.
Surviving are one sister, Beverly J. Neidlinger and her husband, Wayne of Hummelstown; two grandchildren and two nephews.

Richard R. DeFilippo, 52, of 214 Pine Street, Steelton, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 in the home of his mother.
He was the maintenance supervisor at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp. and was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School, Class of 1970 and a former drummer with the "April Rain" musical group. He was a former member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Steelton and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Deutscher Quartet Club, Steelton Home Association, Friendship Fire Company Club, Bressler and the VFW Post 8638, Highspire. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and an enthusiastic boater, fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Olmstead DeFilippo; two sons, Richard J. DeFilippo and William D. DeFilippo, both at home; a daughter, Jeannine Marie DeFilippo, at home; his mother, Mary Belmont DeFilippo of Steelton; a brother, Joseph J. DeFilippo of Jersey Shore; one grandson, Julien M. DeFilippo and several nieces and nephews.

Betty A. Frank Atkinson
Betty A. Frank Atkinson, 81, of Colonial Pines Golden Age Home and formerly of Benton Street, Harrisburg, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She retired as a Self-Employed Home Child Care Provider, was a graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1941 and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Harrisburg, having served as a board member, Sunday School Teacher, choir member and active in all church functions for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Benjamin T. Atkinson and her sister, Doris Wolfe.
She is survived by two sons, Benjamin L. Atkinson of Montoursville and Bruce E. Atkinson of Jacobus; two daughters, Betty Lou Yanich of Harrisburg and Beth A. Beers of West Fairview; two brothers, William M. Frank of Lower Paxton Twp., and Robert E. Frank of Progress; one sister, Martha J. Barzyk of Harrisburg; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a retired brakeman for the B&O Railroad and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Middletown and VFW Post 710, Steelton.
He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Raudensky Tittiger; two sons, Edward E. Tittiger of Baltimore, MD and Albert J. Hovis of Silver Spring, MD; one daughter, Susan Marie Tittiger of Silver Spring, MD and several grandchildren.

He was a retired Corporal with the Pennsylvania State Police - Departmental Headquarters, a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penbrook, the retired State Police Association of Pennsylvania and the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #41.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mae Deibler Rupert and is survived by one son, Thomas D. He was a retired self employed truck driver and a charter bus driver for Capitol Trailways. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, a member of Martin Luther King Baptist Church and a former member of the Capital City Lodge Sons of Italy.
He is survived by his wife, Rose M. Cortopassi Potteiger; three sons, Harold E. Potteiger of Mechanicsburg, Kenneth L. Potteiger III of Shiremanstown and John A. Potteiger of Dillsburg; two daughters, Evelina M. Lyons of Lancaster and Paula J. Tobey at home; two sisters, Emma Jean Salter of Marysville and Linda Stoltzfus of Enola, and eight grandchildren.

He was Senior Vice President of Gannett & Fleming Inc. and Director of its Gancom Division. He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, where he served as Chairman of its Finance Committee. Also, he was a member of Fifth Ward Republican Club and a former member of the former Steelton Club.
He was a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School Class of 1962, Shippensburg University and its TKE fraternity. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie A. Cerjanic Sprow; one son, David L. Sprow, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly A. of Enola; one daughter, Jaime A. Soutner and her husband, Robert W. of Harrisburg; his parents, Robert J. and Hannah M. Newbaker Sprow of Gardners; one brother, Robert C. Sprow of Harrisburg; one sister, LuAnne Davis of Steelton; and one granddaughter, Madeline R. Sprow.

Harold "Tony" Parham
Harold Anthony "Tony" Parham, 44, of West Hanover Twp., died Monday, June 14, 2004 in his home.
Tony was born October 3, 1959, in Mayfield, KY. He was a graduate of Pemberton Twp. High School, NJ, Class of 1978, was a former employee of Keystone Health Plan Central and had been employed at Holy Spirit and Harrisburg Hospitals.
He attended Faith United Church of Christ, Grantville, enjoyed boating, fishing and camping with family and friends. He spent much of his time caring for and instilling good values to both of his grandchildren after their births in December 2000 and was the best darn grandfather ever.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Raymond M. "Billy" Parham who he cared for during the last months of his illness. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 19 years, Bonnie L. Bickle Parham; two stepchildren, Jason M. Shope, Grantville and Danielle M. Shope, at home; his mother, Jung Wan-O'Connell, Browns Mills, NJ; three sisters, Kimmie Townsend, Marlton, NJ, Ramona and Laura Parham, Hamilton, NJ; two grandchildren, Fiona L. Criswell at home and Gavin M. Shope, Grantville; nine nieces and nephews, Brad, Ryan and Jennifer Townsend, Marlton, NJ, Sheri Davis and Michael Bohn, East Hanover Twp., Andy and Jenny Bickle, Miami, FL; Chelsea and Jeffery Bickle, Jr., Key Largo, FL.
