Louis J. "Sweeney" Svec, 75, of 404 Highland Street, Enhaut, died Monday, November 29, 2004 in Villa Teresa Nursing Home.
He was a retired brakeman for Conrail, an Army veteran of the Korean War, a former member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
He was the widower of Elizabeth L. Dragovan Svec and is survived by four sons, Dennis J. Svec of Colonial Park, L. Richard Svec of Royalton, David J. Svec and Robert G. Svec, both of Oberlin; four daughters, Karen M. Gerber and Susan L. Stanisic, both of Harrisburg, Bethann D. Roller of Oberlin and Carolyn L. Gardner of Harrisburg; 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael T. Roller, Jr.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Samuel E. Houser as celebrant. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:00 until 10:45 am on Thursday in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton.

Arthur A. Werntz
Arthur A. Werntz, 88, of Hummelstown, died Monday, November 29, 2004 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
He was a retired Automobile Mechanic, an Army Veteran of World War II, and a 50 year member of the Fourth United Church of Christ, Harrisburg.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside services and burial will held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

Anthony J. Julian, Sr.
Anthony J. Julian, Sr., 92, of 344 South Second St., Steelton, died Thursday, December 2, 2004 in Colonial Park Care Center.
He was retired from the Metallurgical Department of Bethlehem Steel Corp. and a former member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, and the Steelton Italian Club, which he helped to organize.
He was the son of the late Francesco and Bernardina Settino Juliano and an avid Notre Dame and Yankees fan.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy S. Barbush Julian; one son, Anthony J. Julian, Jr. and his wife, Laurie A. of Oberlin; two daughters, Bernadette S. Schumaker of Harrisburg and Rosemary Julian of Boston, MA; one brother, Raymond Julian of Steelton; two grandchildren, Joseph A. and Elizabeth A. Julian. He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Julian.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Samuel E. James E. Floyd, Sr.
James E. Floyd, Sr., 92, of the Polyclinic Memorial Building, Harrisburg and formerly of Lower Paxton Township, died Friday, December 3, 2004 in the Long Term Care Unit.
He was a retired Advertising Executive for the Harrisburg Patriot-News for 43 years and was a member of the First Church of God, Harrisburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Bertha M. Donbaugh Floyd and his son, David A. Floyd. He is survived by two sons, James E. Floyd, Jr., Lower Paxton Township and Richard A. Floyd, Sr., West Hanover Township; one sister, Fannie Manning, Camp Hill; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Cocklin Cemetery, Upper Allen Township. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

Edna L. Sattler Steever
Edna L. Sattler Steever, 86, of Harrisburg, passed away, Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She was born March 26, 1918, the daughter of George and Leurelia Miller Sattler. She was the widow of Harold R. Steever, who died in 1986. She and Harold were lifelong residents of Harrisburg. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia M. Erickson, Middletown; one son, Richard H. Steever, Harrisburg; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Edna was an active member of the 29th Street United Methodist Church, Harrisburg and her lifelong enjoyment was sharing her strong gift of love and devotion to her family.
The family wishes to thank all of you for your prayers and support during their hours of bereavement.

Jestina M. Solada Brehm
Jestina M. Solada Brehm, 97, of Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp. and formerly of Lemoyne, died Friday, December 3, 2004 in the Village.
She was a retired Registered Nurse for Dr. Matthew Douglas and a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, its Helen Farner Sunday School Class, Lemoyne Civic Club and the Penn-Cumberland Garden Club.
She was the widow of Ira J. Brehm and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 2 p.m., in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd & Derry Streets, Harrisburg, with Rev. Walter Hafer, her Visitation Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, in the funeral home.

James G. Petroff, 61, of 6 Heatherland Road, Lower Swatara Twp., died Thursday, December 9, 2004 in his home.
He was a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School Class of 1962 and a retired inspector for Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, Highspire Boating Assn., Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers Club and former Captain of the St. Lawrence Club Pool Team.
He was the son of the late James and Julia Fieman Petroff Galinac and is survived by his wife, Cheryl E. Stroman Petroff; two daughters, Marie A. Sutch and Kimberly Petroff-Shipley, both of Harrisburg; seven brothers, John Galinac of Lewisberry, George Galinac of Chambers Hill, Frank Galinac of Steelton, Edward Galinac of Oberlin, Steven Petroff and Dennis Petroff, both of Anniston, Alabama, and William Petroff of Panama City, Florida; two sisters, Charlene Ransbaugh and Cherita Kelly, both of Panama City, Florida; one granddaughter, Jaden E. Sutch. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Petroff Jenakovich.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Samuel E. Houser as celebrant. Burial Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Sunday in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. Recitation of the rosary 8:00 pm.

Richard M. "Dick" Mohn
Richard M. "Dick" Mohn, 82, of 7258 Huntingdon Street, Rutherford, died Friday, December 10, 2004 in his home.
He was retired from the U.S. Government Civil Service, where he spent 33 years working at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown, Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, CA, McClellan Air Force Base, Sacramento, CA, Headquarters Pacific Air Force, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii and Headquarters Tactical Air Force, and Langley Air Force Base, VA. He served 16 months in Vietnam as the Civilian Deputy Director for Supply and Transportation at the Cam Ranh Bay Army Depot.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II, serving in both the European and South Pacific Campaigns. He was the former President and founder of RBM Corporation, a real estate investment company. He was a former member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Enhaut; a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish; Hershey Italian Lodge; National Association of Retired Federal Employees; and the American Association of Retired Persons.
He was the widower of Helen E. Handfest Mohn and is survived by one son, Randolph R. Mohn and his wife, Sylvia (Pinky), with whom he resided; and one granddaughter, Karen Rabourn and her husband, Michael of Gilroy, CA.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser as celebrant. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9 until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton.

Ethan Edward Renner
Ethan Edward Renner, infant son of Michael L. and Renee A. Matjasic Renner of 10209 Jonestown Road, Grantville, died Saturday, December 11, 2004 in Hershey Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three half brothers, Eric and Nathan Renner of Corry, PA, and Michael Renner, Jr., of Buffalo, NY; his maternal grandparents, Albert L. and Carol A. Matjasic of Enhaut; his paternal grandparents, Carl N. and Wilma R. Hansen Renner of Erie; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Marie Ann Peiffer.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside services and burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin, with Rev. Michael J. Scalzi officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.

John P. Telgarsky
John P. Telgarsky, 82, of Lower Paxton Township, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 in Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence of Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
He was a retired Petroleum Engineer for Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation, an Army Veteran of WWII, graduate of University of Pittsburgh and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica H. Fekete Telgarsky; two daughters Annette D. Telgarsky and her husband James P. Musselman, Jr., West Chester and Kimberley Ann Telgarsky, at home; two sisters, Helen Rerko, Johnstown and Bernadette Plunkett, Venice, FL; one granddaughter Justine Briana Musselman and several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Swatara Township, with the Rev. George J. Fekete, his brother-in-law of Lowell, Michigan, Msgr. Hugh A. Overbaugh and Rev. Daniel J. Mahoney as con-celebrants. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Harry W. Witman
Harry W. Witman, 88, of Wormleysburg, died peacefully in his home on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 after a long illness.
He was a retired Evaluator/Estimator for Gannett Fleming Engineers, a Merchant Marine Veteran of World War II, a fifty year member of Perseverance Lodge #21, F&AM, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Harrisburg Forest #43, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and the Harrisburg Consistory.
He is survived by his wife, Eva C. Cavrich Witman.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Finalities will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home.

Lucille B. Heintzelman Benning, 85, of Chapel Pointe of Carlisle, and formerly of Harrisburg and Mt. Carmel, died Sunday, December 19, 2004 in Chapel Pointe.
She was a homemaker and was previously employed by London Fog, Harrisburg. She was a member of 29th Street United Methodist Church, Harrisburg and loved playing cards and bingo.
She was the widow of Harry F. Benning, and is survived by three daughters, Joan Hoffman and husband Leo, Susquehanna Twp., Beverly Berrier and husband Arthur, Camp Hill and Margaret Hoffman and husband Dennis, Camp Hill; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg with the Rev. Constantine L. Havir, Officiating. Burial in Paxtang Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Mary S. Yingst, 92, of ManorCare Health Services - Pottsville, formerly of Enola, died Sunday, December 19, 2004 in the center.
She was a retired nurses aide from Holy Spirit Hospital and former Avon Representative for 20 years. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God, Camp Hill.
She was the widow of Jonas R. Yingst and is survived by one daughter, Susan and her husband Walter Randy Stump, Pine Grove; 2 grandsons, Jeff and Mark Stump.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Full Gospel Church of God, 220 St. John Road, Camp Hill, with Pastor Bob R. Steele, officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the church. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

Mary Catherine "Sis" Fuhrman Wog
Mary Catherine "Sis" Fuhrman Wog, 86, of 356 Spruce Street, Steelton, died Thursday, December 23, 2004 in her home.
She was the retired Director of Mt. Calvary, Holy Cross and Resurrection Cemeteries for the Office of Catholic Cemeteries of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg, with 33 years of service.
She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp.
She was the widow of Nicholas E. Wog and is survived by four daughters, Barbara and her husband, Jerry Hocker of Alexandria, VA, Jeannette and her husband, George Hartwick, Jr., of Steelton, Nancy and her husband, Thomas Porr of Highspire and Bernadette Obringer, at home; one brother, William H. Fuhrman of Steelton; proud grandmother of five grandsons, Jeff and Scott Miller, George III, and Andrew Hartwick and Tom Porr; and two granddaughters, Nicholle Dixon and Janelle Stapleton. Mary was great-great to Steven Himes, Alexis and Lauren Hartwick, Amie Porr, Amanda Dixon, Austin and Logan Stapleton and Rylee Hartwick. She was loved by many nieces and nephews.
The family extends sincere appreciation to PinnacleHealth Hospice for their loving and caring support.
