WARNER ROBINS — Richard G. Short, 59, of Warner Robins died Wednesday. Services will be private. Survivors include his wife Dorothy Everall-Short of Warner Robins. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Maude Sue DuBois
PERRY – Maude Sue DuBois, 77, died at a local hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2005. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2005, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, with interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 7- 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pearl H. Sharpless
PERRY – Pearl H. Sharpless, 89, of 500 Stanley St., Perry, died Tuesday in Perry. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Dennis Stalvey and Rev. Ernest Bass will officiate.

Thelma Brugier LeBoeuf
PERRY – Thelma Brugier LeBoeuf, 99, died on Monday, March 21, 2005, at Summerhill Senior Living Community in Perry. LeBoeuf was a native and longtime resident of New Orleans. She lived in Houma for 25 years and Perry for two years. Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn LeBoeuf Sarrat.

Jewel B. Arrington
AMERICUS – Mrs. Jewel B. Arrington, age 89, of North Spring Creek Circle, Cobb, recently a resident of Perfect Care in Americus, died on Monday morning, Dec. 12, in Sumter Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 (TODAY), in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home.

Cecilia L. Brown
WARNER ROBINS – Cecilia L. Brown, 62, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at McCullough Funeral Home.

Prentiss Russell “Rusty” Evans
PERRY – Prentiss Russell “Rusty” Evans, 38, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (TODAY) in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with entombment in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

Alejandro Garcia
ELKO – Alejandro Garcia, 35, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005. Services will be held at a later date in Mexico. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (TODAY) at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

WILLIAM HENRY ALFORD
William Henry Alford, 66, of Trinity, Texas passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005 in Lufkin, Texas. William was born Nov. 11, 1939 in Clarksville, Texas, the son of Travis Elmer and Rena Gladys Dryden Alford. He was a Navy veteran and a Baptist. He was preceeded in death by his parents.

Jennie Goodwin Robuck
PERRY — Jennie Goodwin Robuck, Perry, formerly of Raleigh, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on June 11. Robuck was born on May 13, 1910 on Coosaw Island, S.C. She is survived by two sons: Frank Robuck Jr. and wife Linda of Raleigh, N.C., and Don Robuck and wife Diane of Jemison, Ala.

Wayne Tallant
WARNER ROBINS — Wayne Tallant, 53, passed away on Sunday, June 4 at Houston Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Tallant was born on March 3, 1953 in Portales, New Mexico.

Helen Virginia Beall
Helen Virginia Beall Helen Virginia Beall, 60, of Sherwood Place, Morganton, N.C., died Thursday, June 8 at her residence. She was born December 30, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas, and was the daughter of the late Jack Davis and Wilma Way Davis. Beall was a school band director since 1969 in Georgia.

Duane Stanley Rothe
PERRY – Duane Stanley Rothe “Unclefuzzy,” 55, of 170 Moss Oaks Road, tragically passed away on June 6, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Home Going Celebration Memorial Service will be held at New Life of Perry, 2089 Hwy 41 South on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Neal Coleman Waller
FORT VALLEY – Neal Coleman Waller, 56, passed away Aug. 4. Funeral services will be today at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

Ann Sorrow
WARNER ROBINS – Ann Sorrow, 77, passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include her children: Wayne, Alan, Ted, Barbara Buchanan and Vickie Grissom all of Warner Robins, a brother, 16 grandchildren.

Grace Fowler Sledge
Grace Fowler Sledge, 80, died in Perry on Sunday, September 30, 2007. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Watson - Hunt Funeral Home with interment in Perry Memorial Gardens. Rev. David Fisher will officiate. Visitation will be 7 - 8:30 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

MR. FRANK JAROS
MACON, GA — Mr. Frank Jaros, 85, of Perry, and lately of Byron, died Friday, September 28, from complications following surgery. A private memorial service will be held, but friends may call on the family on Sunday, September 30, at the Jaros home at 157 Bible Camp Road.

Alrie J. Adams, Sr.
Alrie J. Adams, Sr. (A.J.) passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 1, 2007 at Perry Presbyterian Church with interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery. Reverends Bob Wojohn, Parker Agnew and Jim Shipley will officiate.

James B. Parker, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Flint River Community Hospital in Montezuma. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2007, at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of local arrangements.

Bernice Marie Williams Simons, 70, died in Winter Park, Florida on Friday, September 21, 2007. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 24 at the Christ's Sanctified Holy Church near Perry, Georgia, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Steve Gray and Doris Dempsey will officiate.

James Fred "Jimmy" White, Jr., 48 of Perry passed away on Jan. 1, 2008 at his residence. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 at Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.

Charlotte Peavy King, 65, passed away on Friday, December 7 at Emory University Hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 11 at Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will leave from Watson - Hunt Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday for Andersonville. Charlotte, born in Cobb County.

Mary Evelyn Busby passed away Friday, December 7, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Steve Greene will officiate.

Betty Sue Groves
Betty Sue Groves Kathleen – Betty Sue Groves, 60, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 after 12-year battle with breast cancer. She died at Serenity Gate Hospice, Perry, Georgia surrounded by her family. Mrs. Groves was born on August 9, 1947 in Ben Hill County, Georgia to Florence Barfield and Aaron Barfield. She lived all of her life in Macon and Kathleen, Georgia. She loved her family very much and there was nothing she would not do for them. Until her health got bad, she enjoyed yard work, traveling, camping, and loved her grandchildren.

Wilma Martin Gay
Wilma Martin Gay, died in Collins, MS where she had lived for three years moving from Perry. Born Feb. 26, 1927 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Jere and Lou Martin. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 21 at the First Baptist Church of Perry.
