Tennessee - Grainger County - Marriages 1796-1837

Posted By: GenealogyBuff
Date: Thursday, 6 March 2008, at 12:38 p.m.

This thread of messages represents a scanned copy of a typewritten index of Grainger County, Tennessee marriages.

The spellings of many names are obviously incorrect and were apparently written, in many cases, the way the name sounded to the writer.

In order to effectively research this book, the researcher should aggressively try a variety of creative spellings.

There are a total of 88 pages (page 9 is missing) which will be added on a regular basis.

At the bottom of each page is an image of the scan from which the records are transcribed.
