Lorena Jones Basham, age 89, of Anna, formerly of Cypress, Ill., died Friday morning, Aug. 24, 2001 at 1:25 a.m. at the Willow Creek Rehab Center in Belleville, Ill.
John Leonard "Jack" Simmons, Jr., age 83, of Mt. Vernon, Ill., formerly of Cairo, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001 at 5:20 p.m. at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Charles J. Earnhart, age 77, of Dongola, was found dead on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001 at his hoe.
R. Roscoe McBride, age 87, of Anna, died at 6:06 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001 at the Union County Hospital in Anna.
Laura Lynn Egner, age 40, of Washburn, Ill. died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001 at 2:14 p.m. at her home.
Robin Marie Richardson, age 30, of Kalamazoo, Mich. passed away on Aug. 18, 2001 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan.
Dennis Bufkin, age 40, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Mound City, Ill. passed away Aug. 21, 2001 at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

Bessie L. Brown was born in Olmsted, Ill. on April 5, 1939 to the late Robert Spears and Minnie Williams. She passed away in August, 2001.
