Graveside services for Charles William Cobb, 79, off Rusk, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Salem Cemetery with Billy Don Garner officiating.
Burial will be at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Mr. Cobb died Wednesday at a Jacksonville hospital.
He was born March 6, 1923 in Maydelle and was a resident of Rusk since 1948.
He was a Baptist.
Mr. Cobb was a welder with Brown & Root Construction Company for 25 years.
He is a World War II veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Gladis B. Cobb of Rusk; son and daughter-in-law, Gaylon and Eren Cobb of Azle; daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Brixey Lewis of Tyler; grandchildren, Austin and Garrett Cobb of Azle and Ryan and Jordan Lewis of Whitehouse; sisters, Ethel Hinch of Diaville, Jane Temple of Houston, Joy Glass of Dialville, and Mae Hanvy of Lufkin; and brothers, Glenn Cobb of Wooden, Bill Cobb of Rusk and Paul Cobb of Rusk.

Graveside services for Willie J. Bristow, 88, of Mabank and formerly of Frankston will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Wofford Cemetery with the Rev. J.A. Griffin officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bristow died Sunday in Kemp. She was born Jan. 31, 1914, in Athens.
She was a lifelong resident of the Frankston area, a housewife and a member of Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Bristow.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Christie of Ratcliff City, Okla., eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Keith Christie, Rufus Christie, John Christie, Richard Christie, Kenneth Wright and Lewis Wright.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for Jack W. Morriss, 71, of Rusk were at 2 p.m. today at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk with the Revs. Charles Nunnally and Troy Dagle officiating. Burial was at Russell Cemetery.
Mr. Morriss died Wednesday at Rusk ETMC. He was born Jan. 7, 1930, in Chandler and lived most of his life in Tyler before moving to Rusk in 1987. He served in both the Marines and the U.S. Navy. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Adams Chapel United Methodist Church and VFW Post No. 3406.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Morriss of Rusk; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Jose Feliciano of Tyler and Tina and Richard Deggs of Wylie; brother and sister-in-law, Bishop and Margaret Morriss of Chandler; stepchildren, Deborah Houston, Kenneth Jones and Carol Levine; and grandchildren, April Feliciano, Beth, Sean and Christine Houston, Zachary and Matthew Levine.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Jones, Tommy Jones, Mike Helm, George Covington, Dave Bates and Glen Hugghins.

Mr. Harper died Tuesday at Jacksonville. He was born Aug. 14, 1912, in Jacksonville.
He was a lifelong Jacksonville resident and a Baptist. Mr. Harper was also a businessman, dealing in cattle, oil and land.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wyatt Douglas Harper and Bess Williams Harper.
He is survived by a sister, Matilie Todd of Jacksonville; a niece and nephews.

Mr. Price died Aug. 6. He was born Oct. 1, 1942, in Quanah.
Mr. Price served in the Air Force, and attended Kings River Community College, San Jose State University and San Diego State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Behavioral Science. He later earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation and counseling at the University of North Texas in 1988.
He worked for Texas Rehabilitation Commission before transferring to Crockett State School as a caseworker.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Morrow Stanwood-Price; daughter, Angela Preclaro Price; daughters and sons-in-law Kate and Nathan Mitchell and Kimberly and Johnny Walley; sons and a daughter-in-law, Nathan Stanwood and Wayne and Charlotte Collins; mother-in-law, Valera Morrow; sister-in-law, Mary Morrow Hagle; brother-in-law, Martin Wayne Morrow; six grandchildren, all of Texas; mother, Dorothy Fountain; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Randy Borden; sister, Jane Abrams; brother and sister-in-law, James Joseph and Beverly Fountain; and numerous other relatives and friends; all of California.

Mrs. Sanford died Sunday in a Jacksonville nursing home. She was born July 21, 1917, in Bullard. She had been a lifetime resident and was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Sanford; grandson, Farrel Sanford; and brothers, Arron Baxter and Willard Baxter.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Darel and Clara Sanford of Chireno, Floyd and Elsie Sanford and Michael Sanford, all of Jacksonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Allie Mae Sanford of Jacksonville, Mary Jane and Calvin Shahan of Lancaster and Nancy and Morris Haston of Cedar Hill; brother, Thomas Baxter of Port Arthur; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Tate of Huntsville; daughters, Mary Tate and Lydia Tant, both of Jacksonville; sister, Margie Fletcher of Conroe; brother, James Tate of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Cole. Survivors include his mother, Nina Cole of Tyler; brothers, Ronnie and Jim Cole, both of Tyler and Dale Cole of Austin; sisters, Louise Cole of Tyler and Cora Mae Cole of Austin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Maitland died Sunday at East Texas Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was born March 2, 1914, in Atoy.
She was a graduate of Rusk High School and a lifelong resident of Atoy.
She was an elder at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Atoy, and retired from Rusk State Hospital in 1976 after 30 years of service in nursing. She was a trustee for the Atoy Cemetery Association.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Anderson Waggoner; mother, Mary Alzena Waggoner; sister, Winona Perry; and brother, James Waggoner.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Weldon and Linda Maitland of Carthage; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Don Rankin of Mesquite; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, John “Billy” and Evelyn Waggoner of Atoy; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Dennis Dotson, Larry Dosser, Mike Perry, Shae Perry and Ricky Waggoner.

Mrs. Master was past member of the Jacksonville VFW Auxiliary. She was also a Baptist.
Mrs. Master was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Masters; brother, Warren F. MacEachern and parents, Colin J. and Mildred E. MacEachern.
Survivors include sons, Ricky A. Masters of Vidor and Kelly E. Masters of Groves; daughter, Linda A. Weatherman of Jacksonville; sisters, Janet A. Simms of Indian Lake Estates, Fla. and Ellen J. Cavalini of Boston, Mass.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Asberry Halbert on Oct. 12, 1975.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruby Evelyn Halbert Reed of Odessa; granddaughters, Janet Marler of Kermit and Diedra Diana Bryant of Odessa; great-granddaughter, Brenda Harmonson of Odessa; great-grandsons, Brett Marier of Austin, Colby Marier of Nacogdoches and James Bryant of Odessa; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

A resident of Rusk for 28 years, she was a member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Rusk Independent School District in 1996 after 33 years as director of Food Services.
She also retired in 1999 after 25 years as owner and operator of Richey’s Ritz Dress Shop in Rusk.
She was a member of the Rusk Chamber of Commerce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Richey in 1985.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Richey of Rusk, Johnnie and Susan Richey of Corsicana, Jimmie and Nelda Richey of Huntsville and Pat and Syndy Richey of Rusk; brothers and sister-in-law, James M. Branham of Rusk, Herbert B. Branham of Bullard, and Craig and Grace Branham of Lowell, Ark.; sister and brother-in-law, Fay Nell and J. W. Hunter of Lithia, Fla.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Craddock died Monday in Tyler. He was born April 11, 1905, in Sardis and was a Tyler resident since 1956. He was a senior deacon at Trinity Baptist Church in Tyler and worked as a station agent for the Burlington Rock Island Railroad. He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and had founded Cradco Building Maintenance Company in Tyler.
Mr. Craddock was preceded in death by his grandson, Clay Craddock; brothers, Daniel and Wesley Craddock; and sisters, Beatrice Lummus and Lorena Cadenhead.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Mae Craddock of Tyler; sons, James, William and John Craddock, both of Tyler; sister, Vurlon Lewis of Conroe; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Craddock, Cavan Craddock, Cameron Craddock, Mitchell Craddock, Carl Negley and Brandon Watson.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Knowles of Frankston; her son and daughter-in-law, James Lee and Jackie Knowles of Hurst; a brother, Tommy Tharp of Evansville, Ind.; a sister, Fran Carter of Wills Point; and a grandson, Jacob Lee Knowles.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Smith, Jerry Beard, Billy House, Troy House, Wayne Socia and Mark Tatum.

Mr. Henderson died Wednesday at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. He was born Sept. 26, 1917, to Henry David and Maggie Causey Henderson.
He attended Jacksonville High School and Tyler Commercial College.
He was a World War II veteran and served in the Army Air Corps as a C-47 transport pilot, earning several commendations and a Purple Heart.
He was employed by First National Bank and owned and operated a service station.
He was Cherokee County commissioner for 17 years, and active in farm and ranch activities, raising cattle, horses and hay.
He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church, and a member and Past Master of Jacksonville Masonic Lodge No. 108, Sharon Temple Shrine, Scottish Rite Bodies, York Rite Chapter and Commandery and Eastern Star.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Margie Kathleen Alexander Henderson.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Henry and Cindy of Garland, John David “Bubba” and Cynthia of Channelview and Jerry Alexander “Pete” and Pam of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Sara Beth, Chris Daniel, Jeff Travis, and Angela Renee Henderson; and nephew, James Ray Henderson of Dallas.
Pallbearers included Charlie Kelly, Miller Thompson, Jimmy Sanford, Doyce Bearden, Oscar Smith, Billy McMoyle, Jimmy Glass and Jimmy Tankersly.
