Mr. Franklin L. Norris Sr.
CLYDE - Mr. Franklin L. Norris, Sr., 62, of 35 Columbia Street died Sunday (December 16, 2001) at Via Health of Wayne Newark Campus following a brief illness.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday (December 19th) from 7-9 PM at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. Clyde. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday (December 20th) at 11 AM with Rev. James Hewes officiating. Buriall will follow in Huron Evergreen Cemetery, Wolcott, NY.
Mr. Norris was born in Wolcott, NY on July 11, 1939. He was the son of Richard and Charlotte Shove Norris. He had been a longtime employee of the Hemmingway Company in Clyde, and most recently had worked for LSW Industries in Clyde. On April 13, 1974 he married the former Emily Cushman.
Surviving are his wife Emily Norris of Clyde, 2 daughters, Tina (Winfield) Crocker of Wolcott, and Caroline Norris of Idaho, 2 sons, Franklin (Nancy) Norris Jr. of Duncannon PA., and Michael (Caroline) Norris of Newark. 2 brothers, Richard (Irene) Norris of Lyons, and Jack (Judy) Norris of Wolcott, 4 sisters, Francis Gary of Clyde, Frieda Petrus of Clyde, Leona (Michael) Stirpe of Clyde and Joyce (Gordon) Everdyke of Florida. 10 grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Frederick Buttaccio
CLYDE- Mr. Frederick Buttaccio, 90, of 47 W. Genesee St. died Thursday (April 4, 2002) at Via Health of Wayne Newark Campus following a brief illness.
Family and friends may call on Sunday (April 7th) from 2- 4 & 7-9 PM at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. Clyde. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (April 8th) at 9AM in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Clyde with Rev. James Hewes officiating.
Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Clyde.

Fred was born on September 21, 1911 in Newark, NY. He was the son of Thomas and Rose Fischette Buttaccio.
He was a lifelong communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. Fred was retired from the Seneca Army Depot, and formerly worked in the local creamery and on the family farm. He was an avid vegetable gardner. Fred was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Jim) Lawson of Fairport, his son, Edward (Maria) Buttaccio of Walworth, two granddaughters, Chelsea and Juliana Buttaccio of Walworth. 4 sisters, Flora (Belmont) Avoli of Orchard Park, NY, Anna (Fred) Burley of Clyde, Jane (John) Dapolito of Clyde, and Delia Colarocco of Newark, his brother, Raymond (Aggie) Buttaccio of Chambersburg, PA, 3 sisters-in-law, Connie Buttaccio, Jean (Douglas) Hinman, and Mary Mosher, his brother-in-law, Rudy DeLisio, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand- nephews, and special friends Donna & Jim Iati and Peter Salerno Sr.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Barbara on December 15, 2001, his brothers Joe and Danny, his sister Eleanor DeLisio, sisters-in-law Marjorie Vanleer, and Marian Buttaccio, brothers-in-law George Mosher, Russell Groat, and Jack Vanleer
Mrs. Josephine Carnevale - Greco
CLYDE- Mrs. Josephine (Josie) Carnevale-Greco, 80, of 61 W. Dezeng St. died Wednesday (May 22, 2002) at the Wayne County Nursing Home following an extended illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday (May 25th) at 9:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Clyde. Rev. James Hewes will officiate. Mrs. Carnevale was born in Lyons, NY on Novemeber 11, 1921. She was the daughter of Anthony and Tinella Nicoletta Liseno. Josie was a lifetime resident of Clyde and a member of St. John's Church. She had worked many years as a waitress at Matty's Ship Lantern Inn and other various restaurants in the area.
Surviving are her husband, Orlando Greco of Clyde. 3 daughters, Sandra Carnevale of Clyde, Carol Carnevale of Clyde and Sherry (Peter) DiSanto of San Diego, CA. 3 step-daughters, Karen Hacker of Geneva, Kathy (Brian) Feldman of Seneca Falls and Paula (Thomas) Tindal of Florida, 2 step-sons Jimmy (Marlene) Greco and Daniel (Karen) Greco, both of Geneva 2 grandchildren, Ann Marie ( Kenney) Foster and Melanie (Todd) Geil, 3 great- grandchildren, Zachary Renner, Ariel Luna and Jacob Geil.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband Ned Carnevale in 1990, 3 brothers, Michael, Charles and Joseph Liseno, 4 sisters, Angie Loder, Helen DeMarzio, Rosie DeLuca and Mary Ann DeLucia.
Mrs. Doris A. Howell
CLYDE- Mrs. Doris A. Howell, 93, of 65 Lock Street, died Sunday (May 12, 2002) at the Seneca Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday (May 14th) from 4-7 PM at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. Clyde. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (May 15th) at 9AM in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church Clyde. Burial will follow in Butler-Savannah Cemetery. A reception will be held following the interment
at John's Restaurant, 110 Wayne Ave. Clyde, NY.

Mrs. Howell was born in Savannah, NY on February 14, 1909. She was the daughter of Judson and Julia Darrow Drable. Doris was a lifetime resident of Clyde, and on August 10, 1929 married the late Louis F. Howell. She had attended Auburn Memorial Hospital's Nursing Program, and worked as a Practical Nurse specializing in "In Home" care.
During World War II, Mrs. Howell had been employed in a defense department plant in Weedsport, NY. She also worked for General Electric in Clyde and most recently had been a court attendant at the Wayne County Courthouse. She was an active member of the Galen Republican Party.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lou Ann Montemorano of Clyde, two sons, Ralph Howell of Clyde and Gary (Kay) Howell of Clyde, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. One brother, Mr. Jasper Drable of Clyde and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Louis in 1989 and one grandson, Patrick Montemorano in 1964.
Mrs. Mary Parkhurst

Mr. Loder was born in Clyde, NY on June 23, 1911. He was the son of Antonio and Lucy Signorf Loder. He was a lifetime resident of Clyde, and a member of St. John's Church. Mr. Loder served in the United States Navy during World War II, and had been a member of the Clyde VFW Post 947. For over 60 years, Nick owned and operated his own barber shop in Clyde. Mr. Loder was also a past member of the Clyde Fire Department. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Angeline Liseno Loder on September 19, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Lucille Atkins of Oswego and Mrs. Marsha (Alex) DiSanto of Clyde, one son, Anthony (Betty) Loder of Clyde, 6 grandchildren, Nicholas P. Loder of Newark, Mark Atkins of Oswego, Laurie DiSanto of Clyde, Paul Atkins of Osego, Kevin Atkins of Albany, Nicole DiSanto and Jonah DiSanto, both of Clyde. 5 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Anna DeSano of Fairport, Lucy Adamson of Clyde, and Phyllis (David Miller) of Camillus, 2 brothers, Michael (Dorotha) Loder of Clyde and Vivian (Eileen) Loder of Canton, Ohio. Many nieces and nephews.
Mr. William I. Powers
CLYDE- Mr. William I. Powers, 79, of 143 Columbia Street, died Monday (April 15, 2002) at Via Heath of Wayne Newark following a brief illness.
At his request, there will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday (April 19th) at 11AM in the Rose Cemetery, Rose, NY.
Memorial contributions to the Clyde Volunteer Ambulance Corps would be appreciated.
Mr. Powers was born on September 1, 1922 in Harrisburg, Vermont. He was the son of William and Pearl Cartier Powers. He serverd in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of Post 947 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Clyde. Bill was retired from the Fold Pak Corporation of Newark, where he was employed for over 20 years.He was also an avid Boston Red Sox baseball fan and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. This past Sunday (April 14th), he and his wife, Helen, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife Helen Powers of Clyde, two daughters, Carolyn (Roger) Bishop of Geneseo and Elizabeth Labreck of Glover, VT. Two sons, Irving (Patty) Powers of Lyons and William Powers of Mobile, Alabama, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
