SALVATORE "SAM" CONSIGLIO
HORNELL/TONAWANDA - Salvatore "Sam" Consiglio, 91, formerly of Hornell, died Saturday night (Feb. 2, 2002) at home in Tonawanda.
Born in Meadville, Pa., on March 16, 1910, he was the son of Francesco and Girshome (D'Amico) Consiglio.
Sam, as he was affectionately known, was a boilermaker working 27 years for the former Erie Railroad, followed by working for Oldman Boiler Works of Buffalo. In July of 2000, Sam was recognized as the oldest living member of Local 7, Boilermakers Union. He earned membership pins representing over 60 years of service.
In his younger days, he was an avid hunter, a Yankee fan, played softball and loved boxing. He served his country in WWII, as a member of the Civil Defense Corps. In his later years, he kept busy creating shell sculptures, ceramics, junk hunting and working his vegetable garden.
Salvatore was married on April 20, 1940, to the former Anna Miele, who died Sept. 11, 2000. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, John, Peter and Vincent Consiglio.
Salvatore is survived by one son, Francis (Donna) Consiglio; four daughters, Teresa (Jim) Wachter, Geraldine (Gerald) Barbera, Jean (Robert) Cinnante, and Jane (the late James) Hauser; three sisters, Madeline Cappellino, Jenny Vitale, and Patrina Merriman; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Sal will be deeply missed by his children, but they take comfort in knowing that he is now an angel with their mother, Anna, looking over them.
The family of Salvatore "Sam" Consiglio will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Ann's Church, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

HOPE HULSE
ANDOVER - Hope Hulse, 86, of 16 East Ave., in Andover, died Saturday (Feb. 2, 2002) at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.
She was born Oct. 30, 1915 in West Union, daughter of Leon and Hope Ward Horton. She was married to Willard Hulse, who predeceased her in 1976.
Hope attended Wellsville High School and had lived most of her life in Greenwood. A homemaker, she was a member of the Andover Blessed Sacrament Church, the West Greenwood Grange, St. Mary's Altar & Rosary Society of Rexville, the Andover Senior Citizens and Greenwood Senior Citizens.
She is survived by son, Howard (Patricia) Hulse of Greenwood; son, Burdette (Patsy) Hulse of Greenwood; daughter, Barbara (Calvin) Graves of Wellsville, son, Leo (Patricia) Hulse of Hornell; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a sister, Mary (Roy) Krenzer of Olean.
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a memorial funeral mass at the Andover Blessed Sacrament Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Gene Ulrich of St. Brendan's Church of Almond officiating. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Andover.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Andover Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 726, Andover, N.Y. 14806 or to the Blessed Sacrament Church, 1 Church St., Andover, N.Y. 14806.

CATHERINE P. WILKINSON
WAYLAND - Catherine P. Wilkinson, 86, passed away peacefully Saturday (Feb. 2, 2002) at the Vincent House (Comfort Care Facility) in Wayland.
Catherine was born Dec. 21, 1915 in Williamsport, Pa., a daughter of Ralph R. and Eva May (Heilicker) Noragong. She was married to Leroy Wilkinson Sr., he predeceased her in 1990. She was also predeceased by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Wilkinson and Leroy (Geraldine) Wilkinson Jr.; a granddaughter, Kim Marie Wilkinson; a great-great-grandson, Michael Eggleston; four brothers; and two sisters. She was a Horticulturist, formerly employed at Kelley Brothers Nursery in Dansville.
Catherine was a very active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wayland, where she had held various positions on many committees. She loved her family and friends dearly, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Lynn (Tracy) Harter of Wayland; her son, Steve (Betty) Wilkinson of Wayland; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a very dear cousin and friend, Theresa Barnhart of Wayland; a dear sister-in-law, Frances Noragong of Wayland; several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many dear friends and neighbors.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 100 E. Naples St., Wayland, where funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Karen Christensen officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Wayland.

MADELYN SHEPARD BABCOCK
DANSVILLE - Madelyn Shepard Babcock, 78, of North Clinton St., passed away late Thursday evening (Jan. 31, 2002) at the Teresa House in Geneseo.
Born October 18, 1923 in Conesus, she was a daughter of the late Iracurtis and Maude (VanBuskirk) Foote. On July 18, 1959, she was married to Robert Babcock, who survives. She was also predeceased by her husband, Harold Shepard, in 1958; her step-daughter, Michelle Babcock George; and her siblings, John Foote and Evelyn Stocking.
Madelyn was employed at SouthCo, Inc. in Honeoye Falls for 30 years, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of the Dansville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crafting, oil painting and crocheting.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Bob, are her son, William (Katherine) Shepard of York; a grandson, U.S. Army Captain Christopher W. Shepard of Missouri; a granddaughter, Jennifer Shepard of Colorado; two step-sons, Brian R. (Toni) Babcock of Idaho and Eric (Lara) Babcock of California; a sister, Margaret (Albert) Harvey of Hemlock; as well as several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Jamie Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Honeoye.

CHARLES L. BURLEY
WAYLAND/SPRINGWATER - Charles L. Burley, 61, of Strutt St., died Wednesday (Jan. 30, 2002) at his home.
Born April 27, 1940 in Hornell, he was the son of Leon and Mildred (Bassett) Burley and resided in Hornell his early life. On April 12, 1963 in Fremont, he married the former Shirley Shepard. For the past 30 years, he resided in the Springwater-Wayland area.
Prior to retiring in 1998, he was employed for over 24 years with the Eastman Kodak, Co. of Rochester. He also was a rural route carrier for the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle for many years.
A 10-year U.S. Navy Veteran, he served in Vietnam as a hospital corpsman.
After retiring, he spent winters in Florida and totally enjoyed a part-time job as a Wal-Mart greeter.
He was predeceased by his son, Charley A. Burley, in 1993.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley; a son, Kenneth (Susan) Burley of Atlanta; a daughter, Angela (Cory) Spencer of Wayland; his mother, Mildred Burley of Fremont; three grandchildren, Brian Burley of Dansville, Heather Burley and Alicia Burley, both of Atlanta; a sister, Arlene (Rodney) Alexander of Fremont; six brothers, Francis (Rose) Burley of Jacksonville, Fla., Dale (Marsha) Burley of Canisteo, Dwane (Sandra) Burley of Delaware, Calvin (Nellie Jo) Burley of Virginia, Alan (Laurie) Burley of Howard and Neil (Robin) Burley of Fremont; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Monday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St., Wayland, where funeral services will be conducted at the close of calling at 5 p.m. The Rev. George Davis officiating. Internment will be in Richmond Hill Cemetery, Honeoye.

JOSEPH "JOE" GIELOW
BELFAST - Joseph "Joe" Gielow, 75, died Saturday (Feb. 2, 2002) after an extended illness.
He was a member of the Iron Workers Union.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Joyce Gielow; children, Tedde (Randy) Swarthout, Joseph Gielow, Jr., Timothy Gielow, Kirk Gielow, Becky Gielow, Mark Gielow, Richard (Roxanne) Fuller, Peter (Sue) Fuller, Lewis (Leslie) Fuller, Susan (Allen) Corbett, John Muckle and James (Rebecca) Relyea; 24 grandchildren; a brother, Elmer (Katherine) Gielow; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are private.
The family suggests donations be sent to the Leukemia Society, 5500 Main St, Buffalo, N.Y., 14221.

FRIEDA MASTIN
DANSVILLE - Frieda Mastin, 67, of Twin Drive, passed away early Saturday morning (Feb. 2, 2002) at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
Born March 18, 1934 in Dansville, she was a daughter of the late Ferris and Nancy (Parker) Loop. She was the widow of Junior Mastin. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Allison, Eugene, George and Wanita Loop, Doris Fleischman and Alberta Cleveland.
Frieda was a former waitress at the Sugar Bowl, Busy Bee and Theda's Coffee Shop, all former restaurant's in Dansville.
She is survived by her four sons, Douglas Mastin of Albany, William Mastin, Orrin Mastin and Barry (Bonnie) Mastin, all of Dansville; her two daughters, Millie Krien of Texas and Beatie (Larry) Burley of Dansville; a brother, Bill Loop of Florida; a sister, Lydia (Paul) Kennell of Dansville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville.

KENNETH (DOC) SCHUMAKER
NUNDA - At age 74, after several months with cancer, Doc died peacefully at home Tuesday (Jan. 29, 2002).
Born December 21, 1927 in Castile, he was a son of Kenneth and Luella (Mayhew) Schumaker. A lifetime resident of Nunda and retired Keshequa Central School science teacher, he is survived by his wife, Joan McMaster; a sister, Helen (David) Swanson of Mt. Morris; two cousins, Reginald Grosse of Nunda and Robert Schumaker of Newbury, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and devoted students.
He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Harrington of Haines City, Fla. in January, 2001.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life that Doc planned for them on February 23 at 8 p.m. to midnight at Woodlynn Hills Golf Club, Rt. 408, Nunda. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bell Memorial Library, Nunda Historical Society or the Nunda Community Home.

BETTY ALICE VANSCOTER
HORNELL/FLORIDA - Betty Alice VanScoter, 78, formerly of Hornell, died January 20, 2002 in Winter Haven, Fla.
Born July 17, 1923 in Hornell, she was a daughter of James and Alice (Dinehardt) Hollister. She was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1941, and had been employed at the former A&P in Hornell for over 30 years. She had resided in Florida since 1983.
She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Charles Beyea; and later married John VanScoter, who also predeceased her.
Surviving are her companion, Edwin Robinson of Florida; one daughter, Donna Harding of Florida; one sister, JoAnn (Alfred) VanSkiver of Canisteo; two brothers, Thomas Hollister of Hornell and James (Louise) Hollister of Hornell; two grandchildren, Lisa Jensen of Lakeland, Fla. and Gary Harding of Rochester; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held in Florida. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Mary Sand Clinic, 1805 Hobbs Rd., Auburndale, Fla. 33823.

THOMAS W. KENEFICK III
CANASERAGA - Thomas W. Kenefick III, 48, of Freiner Road, died suddenly at his home Tuesday (Jan. 29, 2002).
Born Sept. 28, 1953 in North Hornell, he was the son of Thomas W. Kenefick II, who died in 1995, and Doris Peters Kenefick, who survives. He was married Dec. 28, 1986 in Waterloo to the former Dawn D. Hogan, who survives.
Tom was a graduate of Hornell High School and had resided most of his life in the Hornell-Canaseraga area. He was a merchandiser for Eber Bros. of Rochester. He was an avid gun and model train collector.
Survivors besides his wife and mother include, two daughters, Kristen M. Kenefick of Hornell and Summer D. Kenefick of Irondequoit; a step-daughter, Becky Smith and a step-son, Jim Smith, both of Rochester; two brothers, Mike Ladd of Rochester and Jack Ladd of Dansville; two aunts and uncles, Robert and Louise Sisson of Florida and Alton and Verna Peters of Rochester; three step-grandchildren; and several cousins.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ignatius Church, with Rev. Elias Menuba as communicate.

HELEN V. LIPPINCOTT
GRAND ISLAND, Fla. - Helen Virginia Lippincott, 75, of Grand Island, Fla., died Sunday (Dec. 31, 2001).
Born in Hornell, she moved to Central Florida from East Liverpool in 1983. She was a member of Lake Square Presbyterian Church, Pine Meadows Country Club of Eustis and an avid golfer.
Survivors include her husband, Donald R. of Florida; daughters, Donna Yoko of Appalachin and Sandra Ferry of Beaver, Pa.; sisters, Marie Miller of Lake Wales, Fla., and Patricia Sciotti of Hornell; brother, Robert Lawrence of Alfred Station; three granddaughters; and six great-grandsons.
Arrangements through National Cremation Society, Fruitland Park, Fla.

ISABELLE L. HANSEN
WESTMINSTER, Md. - Isabelle L. Hansen, 77, of Taneytown, Md., died Tuesday morning (Jan. 29, 2002) at her home, after an extended illness.
Born March 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Samuel P. Northrup and Marguerite V. Wittershiem Northrup. She was the wife of Jesse A. Hansen Sr.
She was formerly employed as a seamstress for the Bornstein Sewing Factory and had worked as a utility operator for Cambridge Rubber, both in Taneytown, Md.
She enjoyed needlework, sewing and crafts.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter and son-in-law, Carol (Gary) Garver Sr. of Taneytown, Md.; a son, Wayne Hansen of Taneytown, Md.; sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse (Ann) Hansen II of Littlestown, Pa., and Rudolph (Donna) Hansen of Georgetown, S.C.; brothers, Rudolph Northrup of Clearwater, Fla., and Harold Northrup of Winter Gardens, Fla.; sisters, Eleanor Rosell of Savona, Elsie Ornsby of Dansville, and Dorothy Fox and Carol Walker, both of Bath; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A sister, Pearl Sylvia, and a brother, Howard Northrup, predeceased her.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

MARJORIE L. BOND
ALFRED - Marjorie L. Bond, 89, of Hornell Gardens, formerly of North Main Street, Alfred, died Monday (Jan. 28, 2002) at St. James Mercy Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past five days.
Born June 17, 1912 in the Town of Independence, she was the daughter of Leslie and Georgia Black Greene. She was married Oct. 10, 1942 in Albion, Wis., to Gerald C. Bond, who died in 1977. She was predeceased by a sister, Katherine Crandall, in 1998.
She had resided in the Alfred area since 1971, where she was a member of the Alfred Seventh Day Baptist Church, and was the organist there for 19 years and church clerk for 30 years. She was also a member of the Amandine Club and Forcythe Willson Club, both of Alfred.
Marjorie was a graduate of Salem College, W. Va. and had taught Elementary School in Madison, Wis.
Survivors include two sons, Philip (Sharon) Bond of Castro Valley, Calif., and Daniel (LaDena) Bond of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Harold Greene of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Herbert Greene Sr. of Lombard, Ill., and Donald Greene Sr. of Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Alfred Seventh Day Baptist Church, with Pastor Patricia Bancroft officiating. Final interment will be in Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark.

ROSALYN S. DASCOMB
BATH - Rosalyn S. Dascomb, 79, of 123 Robie St., entered into rest Saturday (Jan. 26, 2002) at her home.
Rosalyn was born May 26, 1922 in Avoca, the daughter of the late Clark W. and Lydia Canfield Stryker. She was a graduate of Avoca Central School in 1939, and attended the Rochester Business Institute. She retired from the Bath VA Center, Bath, with three and a half years of service.
Rosalyn was a charter member of the Avoca Memorial Unit No. 1315, American Legion Auxiliary; member of Charles E. Wescott Unit No. 173, American Legion Auxiliary; NARFE; and Centenary United Methodist Church, Bath.
Surviving are her husband, Myron C. Dascomb of Bath; sister, Marilynn (Kermit) Miller of Avoca; brothers, Gareth L. Stryker and Blair C. Stryker, both of Avoca; and nieces and nephews.
At Rosalyn's request there will be no calling hours, and funeral services and burial were to be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, Rosalyn's wishes were for memorials to be made to the Bath Volunteer Ambulance Corps., in her memory.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath.

ELIZABETH "BETTY" N. MINICHELLO
MARIETTA, Ga. - Elizabeth "Betty" N. Minichello, 83, of Kennesaw, Ga., died Friday (Jan. 4, 2002).
Born in Hornell, she had recently moved to Kennesaw, Ga. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath, past president of the Episcopal Church Women, and had many friends at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cohocton. Elizabeth was a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary and a life member of the Order of Amaranth.
Survivors include her son, Rev. B. Fred Hannan of Kennesaw, Ga.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at a later date at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath.

RICHARD T. BOUCK
WOODHULL - Richard T. Bouck, 80, of Jasper, passed away Sunday (Jan. 27, 2002) at Corning Hospital.
Born in Waymont, Pa. on March 3, 1921, he was the son of Edgar T. and Katharine June Bouck.
A 1939 graduate of Jasper Central School, he served in the U.S. Army from June 22, 1942 to Jan. 26, 1946, in the Pacific Theatre and in Japan.
He operated Bouck's Garage in Jasper up until his retirement.
He was a past master of Robinson Lodge 649 F & AM, former 1st assistant chief of the Jasper Fire Department and a past commander of Woodhull Memorial Post 1740 American Legion. He was a member of the Jasper Presbyterian Church.
Richard married Calysta Mae Hibbard Bouck, she survives.
Also surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James (Ann) Bouck of Tracy, Calif.; his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah (Todd) Hunnicutt of Ljubljana, Slovenia; grandsons, James and Joshua Bouck; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wellington and Robert Bouck and sisters, Alice Morelang and Helen Phillips.
Friends may call Thursday from 1-2:30 p.m. at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St., Woodhull, where funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 2:30 p.m. Rev. James Bouck will officiate. Burial will be in Jasper Cemetery.

JOSEPH CERRITO
FREDONIA - Joseph Cerrito, 81, of 47 Douglas St., Fredonia, passed away Sunday morning (Jan. 27, 2002) at home in his sleep.
He was born in Niagara Falls on May 31, 1920, the son of the late Calorgio and Catherine (Guzzetta) Cerrito.
An area resident all his life, Joseph was a steelworker for AL-Tech for 35 years.
Joseph was a World War II veteran, having served in the Army. He served in the European Theatre Operation, the First Army, Third Armored Division 703, Tank Destroyer Battalion. He received the Five-Battle Star (Normandy, Central Europe, Ardennes, Northern France and Rhineland, Germany).
He was the chaplain to VFW Post 1395, Fredonia, and was a past commander; past chaplain to American Legion Post 59, Fredonia, and a past commander; and past chaplain to the Chautauqua County Joint Vets Council.
He was a member of the Share & Care Senior Citizens of Fredonia, vice president for Steel Workers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR).
A member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Fredonia, he was a past member of the Vestry.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Portnell) Cerrito, whom he married in England on June 26, 1944; one son, John Cerrito of Texas; three daughters, Catherine (Bruce) Graves of Fredonia, Beverly (Douglas) Gilbert of Hornell, and Susan Deszcz of Forestville; six grandchildren, including Jonathan and Kevin Gilbert of Hornell; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Michael Angelo, Russell and Salvatore Cerrito, and two sisters, Josephine Cerrito and Anna Cerrito Elliott.
Prayer services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, 736 Central Ave., Dunkirk. The Rev. John Reese, pastor of Trinity Episcopal Church of Fredonia, will officiate. Burial will be in Laona Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

WILLIAMSVILLE - Eleanor C. (Nee Vogt) Cook, of Williamsville, died Monday (Jan. 28, 2002).
She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Cook. She was also predeceased by her brother, Peter J. Vogt.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (Robert Klingensmith Jr.) Cook; her son, Roy (Pamela) Cook; grandchildren, Robert, John, Richard, Evan, Luke and Libby, whom she was a devoted grandmother to; her brother, George T. Vogt; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at the Saints Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Williamsville.

GRANT F. HARVEY
CANASERAGA - Grant F. Harvey, 87, died Saturday (Jan. 26, 2002).
Born Dec. 5, 1914, in the Town of Burns, he was the son of Murray and Minnie Smith Harvey. He was a member of the Canaseraga Grange, the Pomona Grange and the Farm Bureau.
He was predeceased by his wives, Dorothy and Mary Catherine; brothers, Edward and Whitney; sisters, Mildred Slater and Olene Wheaton; and grandson, Robert.
He is survived by his daughter, Margaret McCray of Canaseraga; son, Grant (Heidi) Harvey of Leicester; two step-sons, Leo Nye of Marion, Ind., and Merton (Betty) Wright of Boise, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Mann Funeral Home in Canaseraga. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Father Robert Mock officiating. Burial will be in the Canaseraga Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Canaseraga Ambulance Fund.

JACK SPALLINA
ROCHESTER - Jack Spallina, 85, of Rochester, passed away Sunday (Jan. 27, 2002) at Park Ridge Hospital, after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary July 3, 2001.
He was predeceased by an infant son in 1961.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Carol (Tom) Kinney of Hornell and Phyllis (Mike) Salerno of Rochester; five granddaughters, Jackie (Jim) Burke of Rochester, Christine (Brian) Prince of Tokyo, Dawn (Craig) Howe of Rochester, Kathy (Bryan) Arnault of Rochester and Colleen (Jeff) Feeley of Charlotte, N.C.; and five great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Lyell Ave., Rochester. Funeral services will be held at St. Theodore's Church on Wednesday.

MARJORIE A. LYNCH
HILTON/HORNELL - Marjorie A. Lynch, 71, formerly of Hornell, died Saturday (Jan. 26, 2002) at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport.
Born in Elmira, July, 22, 1930, a daughter of John T. and Eleanor Murphy Lynch, she had spent her early life in Hornell and was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1948. She had resided in Rochester for several years and had been employed as an International Patent Coordinator for Xerox, prior to her retirement in 1981.
Surviving are one brother, David (Georgia) Lynch of Spencerport; her niece, Kathleen Rodriguez of Spencerport; her nephew, David R. Lynch, also of Spencerport; one grand-niece; and three grand-nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service at St. Mary's Cemetery Chapel in Fremont on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends wishing to remember Marjorie may consider contributions to the Hilton Ambulance Corp., Hilton, N.Y. 14468 or the American Lung Association, 1595 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, N.Y. 14620.
Funeral services are entrusted to Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.

REV. JOHN F.G. HARRISON
WELLSVILLE - Rev. John F.G. Harrison, 92, died Friday (Jan. 25, 2002) in the Highland Healthcare Center in Wellsville after a long illness. He had been a resident of the Manor Hills Home in Wellsville for several years.
Born January 17, 1911 in England, he was the son of George and Rose (Meads) Harrison.
On April 13, 1932 in Canisteo, he was married to Daisy L. Bovee, who predeceased by on July 8, 2000.
He had resided in Wildwood, N.J. prior to moving to Wellsville.
He was a graduate of the Binghamton Bible School and the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, Ill. As a Baptist Minister, he served church in Wildwood and locally in Richburg, Adrian and Little Hickory.
He also was retired from the Engineering section of the Air-Preheater Corp. of Wellsville.
After retirement, he was on the staff of Houghton College, and served as supply minister for several local churches.
He was a faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church at Yorks Corners.
He is survived by two cousins, Margaret Moll Castle of Kent, England and Vera Cleveland of Binghamton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home in Wellsville on Monday from 10-11 a.m., at which time services will be held. Rev. Les Wells, pastor of the Faith Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial in the Floral Park Cemetery, Binghamton.
Memorials are to be made to the Faith Baptist Church, 1108 Rt. 18 South, Wellsville, NY 14895.
