Helga C. Elliott, 74, Raytown, MO, passed away Sunday morning, January 6, 2002, at Timberlake Care Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born April 2, 1927, in Kolberg, Pommerania, Germany to Karl F. Suessbrich and Lenore G. Brandt Suessbrich. She married Richard Franklin Elliott on August 28, 1947, in Berlin, Germany. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1993. Mrs. Elliott was born and raised in Germany. Following her marriage in 1947, she came to the United States and lived in Nevada from 1954-1957. She then lived in the Kansas City area since 1966. She was a homemaker, a longtime member of the First Christian Church, and also worked as a physical therapist assistant at various hospitals in the Kansas City, MO, area and nursing homes. Survivors include three daughters, Carol A. Woodard and her husband, Charles W., Raytown, MO, Patricia K. Clark, Raytown, MO, and Marleen E. Mawby and her husband, Terry, Paola, KS; one son, Richard M. Elliott and wife, Kathy Jo, Raytown, MO, 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her, parents, and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2002, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nevada, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends 11:00-12:00 a.m. Wednesday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO.

Charles Elliott Jr.

Charles Elliott, Jr., 69, Nevada, MO, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Christian Health Care, Nevada, following a lengthy illness. He was born September 12, 1933, in Kansas City, MO, to Charles Elliott, Sr. and Katherine Baker Elliott. He married Teresa Lynn Pennington on April 11, 2003, in Nevada, and she survives of the home. Mr. Elliott lived and worked most of his life in Kansas City. He came to this area in the 1970's and spent the remainder of his life here. Survivors in addition to his wife Teresa, include one daughter, Debbie, of the state of Texas, and one son, Michael Elliott, Nevada, MO. Mr. Elliott was cremated and no services are planned. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO.

Mary Geneva Emery
Died On July 14, 2002
Mary Geneva Emery, 89, the daughter of Jesse and Mary McNeil Kemp, was born March 8, 1913 in Kansas City, Missouri and died Sunday July 14, 2002 in Liberty, Missouri. Jess Kemp retired from the Kansas City Police Department in the early thirties and moved his family to the Sylvan Dale community midway between Nevada and Moundville. On July 15, 1934, Geneva was united in marriage to Lawrence V. Emery, a neighboring farmer, and he preceded her in death August 10, 1981. Mrs. Emery was employed by the Nevada State Hospital as a Psychiatric Aide until her retirement. Mr. and Mrs. Emery were founding members of the Sylvan Dale Baptist Church and Mrs. Emery also served as secretary to the area Southern Baptist Association of Churches. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn McFadden of Kansas City, Missouri, Kathy Steele of Sedalia, Missouri, two sons, Larry Emery of Warsaw, Missouri, Don Emery of Columbia, Missouri, one sister, Carol Kemp Walker of Kansas City, Missouri who was raised by Lawrence and Geneva since the age of ten, fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Marie Kemp of Kansas City, Missouri also survive. Mrs. Emery was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty, and a brother, Jay. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 18, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at Moore Cemetery with Mr. John Nichols as officiant. Friends may call after noon on Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Chapel and the family will receive friends at Evergreen Memorial Chapel on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the procession leaves for the cemetery at 2:15 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sylvan Dale Baptist Church in care of Evergreen Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 894, Nevada, MO 64772.

Frank Emery
Died On February 17, 2002
Frank Edgar Emery, 79, Nevada, MO, passed away Sunday night, February 17, 2002, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1922, in Vernon County to Harvey L. Emery and Harriet D. Shaver Emery. He married Helen Opal Faith on June 1, 1947, in Sheldon, MO, and she survives of the home. Frank was born in Vernon County and grew up in the Milo area. He graduated from Nevada High School and attended Pittsburg University, Pittsburg, KS, before enlisting in the Army in 1942. Frank served in the 94th Infantry Division in the European Theatre of War for three years and was discharged in 1945. After returning from service in WW II, Frank joined his father and brother in the ownership and operation of H. L. Emery and Sons' Feed and Grain in Milo for 30 years. After retiring, he drove a school bus for 20 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Nevada. Besides his wife Helen of the home, Frank is survived by two sons, Ed Emery and his wife Rebecca, and their children, Elizabeth, Samuel, Daniel, and Paul Emery, Lamar, MO, and James Emery and his son, Jon Emery, Nevada, MO; one daughter, Leesa Drury and her husband Tom, and their children, Sarah, Thomas, John, Forrest, Molly and Caroline, St. Michael, MN; and one brother, Vincel Emery, Oak Grove, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother Leo Emery, and three sons, infant Terry in 1948, Mikel in 1979, and Randy in 1991. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at the First Baptist Church, Nevada, MO, with John Nichols and Dr. William Cox officiating. Friends may call now and until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.

John E. Eslinger
Died On October 12, 2002
John E. Eslinger, the son of Elza and Olive Busbee Eslinger, was born September 20, 1937 in Cedar County, Missouri and died October 12, 2002 at the Nevada Regional Medical Center at the age of 65 years and 22 days. He was united in marriage to the former Lura L. Lasley on February 2, 1956 in Cedar County, Missouri. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Cedar Springs, Missouri. Survivors include his wife, Lura Lasley Eslinger of the home, one son, Richard L. Eslinger of Schell City, Missouri, one daughter, Kathryn J. Crawford of Nevada, Missouri, one sister, Vivian Phillips of Payson, Arizona, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Linda Jane Eslinger. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2002 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Schell City, Missouri with Mr. Everett Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Memorial Chapel. Friends may call Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. at the Evergreen Memorial Chapel.

Franklin Estle

Franklin, L. Estle, 81, Rockville, MO passed away Friday morning, March 15, 2002, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, MO following a lengthy illness. He was born May 12, 1920 in Kirk County, CO to the late Ozro Estle and Daisy Alice Holden Estle. He was married February 28, 1945 in Kansas City, KS to Grace L. Karhoff Estle. She preceded him in death March 9, 1986. Mr. Estle and his wife moved to Vernon County in 1978 after he retired after fifteen years of farming in Lawrence, KS. He spent the remainder of his life here. He and his wife enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Survivors include three brothers, Earl L. Estle, Humboldt, NE, Clarence L. Estle, Independence, MO, Eben D. Estle, Sabetha, KS; one foster brother, Michael (Joe) Estle, Kansas City, KS; two sisters, Ruby Willhite, Wichita, KS, Theral O. Oldham, Iconium, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, spouse, one brother and three sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2002, at Milster Funeral Home, Nevada, MO with Elder Tom Pyle officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Milo, MO. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Sunday and until the time of service at Milster Funeral Home.. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday afternoon between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of the family in care of Milster Funeral Home.

Sarah Etter

Sarah Ellen Etter, 94, Nevada, MO, passed away Monday night, July 8, 2002, at Nevada Regional Medical Center following a short illness. She was born August 5, 1907, near Milo, MO, to Egart H. Hart and Willie Maude Gose Hart. She married James C. Etter on July 3, 1931, in Ft. Scott, KS, and he preceded her in death on October 16, 1990. Mrs. Etter was raised in the Milo area and lived in the Nevada area a lifetime. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was employed at Nevada State Hospital for 29 years. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn R. Newbanks, Cincinnati, OH, and Barbara J. Jordan, Houston, TX, six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2002, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO, with Dr. Eldon Shaw, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park. Owen Feller

Owen Edward Feller, 75, Nevada, Mo, passed away Saturday morning, July 20, 2002, at St. John's Hospital, Joplin, MO., following a short illness. He was born April 21, 1927, in Bronaugh, MO to Otto Earl Feller and Nellie Mae Smith. He married Mary E. Lathrop on May 31, 1968, in Nevada, MO She survives of the home. Mr. Feller was born & raised in Bronaugh, MO, graduating from Bronaugh High School in 1945. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW ll from 1945 to 1946, on the U.S.S. Point Cruz in the South Pacific. Following the war he returned to Vernon County. He began working in the Power Plant at Nevada State Hospital in 1967, retiring in 1989. He also farmed in the Bronaugh area. Following his retirement in 1989, he and his wife retired to the Table Rock Lake area, where they resided for twelve years before returning back to Nevada in 2000. He was a member of the American Legion of Nevada. In addition to his wife Mary, survivors include Five Sons, Jeff Feller, Tahlequah, OK; Dan Lathrop, Colorado Springs, CO; Dennis Lathrop, Peculiar, MO; Doug Lathrop, Nevada, MO; & Brad Feller, Joplin, MO. Five Daughters, Debralee Harth, Peculiar, MO; Joy Orozco, Joplin, MO; Robin Hughes, Ft. Scott, KS; Lisa Bivona, Joplin, MO; & Diana Charles, Nevada, MO. 24 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren. One Sister, Wynona Shaw, Nevada, MO. He was preceded by three Brothers, Waldeen, Lonnie & Wyman Feller. Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh, MO, with Pastor Mark Mitchell officiating. Friends may call now and until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday and the family receives friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO, prior to leaving for the cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice in Memory of Owen.

Patricia Abernathy Flynn

Patricia Abernathy Flynn, the daughter of Charles Robert and Allie R. Williams Cline, was born October 17, 1928 in Seymour, Iowa and died July 1, 2002 at National Health Care in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 14 days. Mrs. Flynn had been employed as a telephone operator at Northwestern Bell in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a member of First Christian Church in Nevada. Survivors include four sons, Mike Abernathy of Nevada, Missouri, Tim Abernathy of Lamar, Missouri, Joe Flynn of Joplin, Missouri, James Flynn of Olathe, Kansas, seven grandchildren, Evan Abernathy, Laron Abernathy, Ashlee, Nathan, Kaylee, Justin and Jordan Flynn, two step-grandchildren, Debra and Sabrina Hill, two sisters, Roberta "Colleen" Cline of Des Moines, Iowa and Barbara Cline of Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Richard Cline. Memorial services will be Friday July 5, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at First Christian Church with Pastor Ed Sheridan officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in care of Evergreen Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 894, Nevada, MO 64772.

Mary Carmen Foltz
Died On May 31, 2003
Mary Carmen Foltz, 90, Nevada, MO, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada. She was born June 1, 1912, in Butler, MO, to Talmage Dewitt 'Dutch' Crawford and Eda Lockwood Crawford. On August 26, 1945, she married Haldon V. Foltz, Charleston, IL, who preceded her in death in 1983. Carmen grew up in Nevada, graduating from Nevada High School in 1930, and from Cottey College, Nevada, in 1932. She received a B.S. majoring in music and English, from SWMU in Springfield, MO. She taught music in Bronaugh and Metz High Schools, and also in Illiopolis, IL. She served as organist at the First Baptist Church in Nevada from 1930-1942. Later the family made their home in Brookfield, IL, for many years. While there she served as choir director of the First Congregational Church. She was employed as a special education home tutor for several years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Brookfield. In 1987 she returned to make her home in Nevada and rejoined the First Baptist Church here. Survivors include one sister, Ellen Mabry, Nevada; two nieces, Maxann Parrish, Carthage, MO, and Juell Feldman, Harlingen, TX; one great-niece, Marielle Flynn, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Stephen Foltz in 1985; one brother, Franklin Crawford; two nephews, Timothy and Patrick Mabry, and one grandnephew, Bryan Flynn. After cremation, her remains will be returned to Mt. Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, IL. Memorial services will not be held in Nevada. Suggested donations are the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. or the charity of your choice in care of Ferry Funeral Home, 301 S. Washington, Nevada, MO.

Russell Foreman
Died On August 13, 2002
Russell Lee Foreman, 78, Walker, MO, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 13, 2002, at Nevada Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born August 16, 1923, in Vernon County, MO, the son of Clarence E. Foreman and Phebe Alice Dally Withrow. He married Juanita Ketterman on May 27, 1946, in Ft. Scott, KS, and she survives of the home. Mr. Foreman was a member of the First Baptist Church of Walker; the Walker 605 Masonic Lodge AF & AM since May 6, 1953, and a member of Sword of Bunker Hill, Ozark Order #109, Springfield, MO. He helped organize and was a volunteer for Walker Rural Fire Department. He was a Democrat committeeman for Walker Township for many years. He also served on the Walker Township Board for several years. He loved to hunt, fish, and go to public auctions. Survivors in addition to his wife, Juanita, include three sons, Roy Lee Foreman and his wife, Ruth, John Foreman and his wife, Sharon, all of the Walker area; Donald Foreman and his wife, Becky, Moundville, MO; two daughters, Jennie Foreman and her husband, Harry, and Alberta Hays and her husband, Glen, all of the Walker area; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Foreman and his wife, Neoma, Walker, MO; one sister, Alice Beaty and her husband, Joe Lee, El Dorado Springs, MO; one brother-in-law, Frank Haynes, El Dorado Springs, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dora Jane Haynes. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2002, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO, with Pastor Ray Dean Scism officiating. Interment will follow in Green Mound Cemetery, Harwood, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service. Masonic services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 16, with visitation following 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Wendell Fowler
Died On February 9, 2003
Wendell F. Fowler, 92, Nevada, MO, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2003, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, MO. He was born June 14, 1910, in Nevada, MO, to Benjamin Franklin Fowler and Beulah Hill Fowler. He married Bertie Thomas on May 20, 1929, in Butler, MO, and she survives of the home. Wendell was a graduate of Nevada High School in 1928. He worked in wholesale grocery sales for nearly all his life; working for National Biscuit Company, H. D. Lee, Sexton Company, Lady Baltimore, and also part owner/operator of Logan-Fowler in Paola, KS, where he worked and lived for 25 years. In 1988, he moved back to Nevada where he has lived ever since. Survivors in addition to his wife, Bertie of the home, include one son, Chad Fowler, Santa Barbara, CA, and one brother, Larry Fowler, Oro Valley, AZ. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Hubert Fowler. No services have been planned.

Willis Fowler
Died On December 2, 2002
Willis Hadley Fowler, 93, Sheldon, MO, passed away Monday night, December 2, 2002, at the Lakeview Healthcare Rehabilitation Center in Lamar, MO, following an illness of a few months. He was born December 11, 1908, in Sheldon to Edward Garfield Fowler and Matilda Jane Beisly Fowler. He married Reta Fawn Jones on August 5, 1930, in Adrian, MO, and she preceded him in death on September 24, 1963. He later married Fontella Maxine Roland on July 2, 1964, in Jerico Springs, MO, and she survives in Lamar, MO. Willis was born and raised in the Sheldon area. He attended the Ferry School as a youth. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Sheldon. Willis spent more than 70 years in the Christian ministry; conducted three radio ministries in Texas, Kansas, and Arkansas; served a brief chaplaincy in the Oklahoma State Senate; conducted more than 300 revival meetings and held pastorates from Virginia to Texas; spent 23 years in Oklahoma; was a mountain missionary for four years in the Cumberland Mountains of Kentucky and Virginia; authored five books; was co-founder of Midwest Christian College in Oklahoma City and college evangelist and part-time instructor for that institution for three years. Survivors in addition to his wife Maxine include one son, Harold Fowler, Matelica, Italy; one daughter, Alice Marilyn Wilkins, St. Pauls, NC; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd and Beverly Fowler, both of Sheldon, MO, and one sister, Althea Humphrey, Nevada, MO. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2002, at the First Christian Church in Sheldon with Reverends Harold Fowler and Harold Starbuck officiating. Interment will follow in Sheldon Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday and until noon on Friday at the Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home in Sheldon. The family receives friends 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church, Sheldon, MO. Memorials may be given to the Ozark Christian College, Joplin, MO, or Johnson Bible College, Knoxville, TN, in care of Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home.

Shirley Ann Franklin
Died On September 13, 2002
Shirley Ann Franklin, 60, Nevada, MO, passed away Friday night, September 13, 2002, at Nevada Regional Medical Center following an illness of several weeks. She was born July 3, 1942, in Pleasant Hill, MO, to Harry William Hendricks and Willie Jo Fox Hendricks. Mrs. Franklin was born near Pleasant Hill and raised in the Stockton, MO area. She graduated from Stockton High School. Shirley came to Nevada in 1970 and spent the remainder of her life here. She worked for many years as a psychiatric aide at Nevada State Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Dean Franklin, Nevada, MO; one daughter, Shannon Agee, Leavenworth, KS; one son, Gary Franklin, Harrisonville, MO; two sisters, Connie Dill, Granby, MO, and Dorothy Weber, Nevada, MO. Preceding her in death were two brothers, Bill and Jack Hendricks. A gathering for family and friends will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2002, at Lyons Park, El Dorado Springs, MO. Private committal services will be held at a later date under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO.

Verner Franks
Died On March 19, 2003
Verner E. Franks, 90, Nevada, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada. He was born October 27, 1912, in Vernon County, MO, to Walter A. Franks and Ethel Shute Franks. He married Mildred L. McWherter on October 25, 1935, in Nevada, MO, and she survives of Nevada. Verner was a lifelong resident of Vernon county. He attended the Hackberry School and farmed his entire lifetime in the Moundville area. Mr. Franks was a member of the Moundville Christian Church. He also served as president of Wellborn Cemetery Association Board and the Farmers Mutual Telephone Company Board, and was active in Vernon County 4-H for many years. He and his wife were also active in the Bushwhacker Squares Square Dancing Club for a number of years. Survivors in addition to his wife Mildred, include one son, Larry Franks and his wife, Johnna, Jacksonville, FL; three daughters, Hazel Wilson and her husband, Orton, Nevada, MO, Carol Janes and her husband, Jerry, Nevada, and Judy Gazaway and her husband, Glen, Springfield, MO, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three sisters-in-law, Irene McWherter, Platte City, MO, Dora McWherter, Nevada, MO, JoAnn Ritter, Floyd, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews. An infant daughter, LaNell, two grandchildren, and two brothers, Lucian and Mansel, precede him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2003, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO, with John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Welborn Cemetery, Moundville, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends 7:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Mildred Franks

Mildred LaNell Franks, 86, Nevada, MO, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Mercy Hospital, Ft. Scott, KS, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 28, 1916, in Vernon County, MO, to Floyd C. McWherter and Lula Barrack McWherter. She married Verner E. Franks on October 25, 1935, in Nevada, MO, and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2003. Mrs. Franks was born and raised in Vernon County and spent her entire life here. She helped with the family farm all of her adult life. She was a member of the Moundville Christian Church; the Wayside Club; the Ellis Domestic Science Club, and the Bushwhacker Square-Dancing Club. She was also active in 4-H for many years and secretary of the Welborn Cemetery Association. Mrs Franks is survived by three daughters, Hazel Wilson and husband, Orton, Nevada, MO, Carol Janes and husband, Jerry, Nevada, MO, and Judy Gazaway and husband, Glen, Springfield, MO; one son, Larry Franks and wife, Johnna, Jacksonville, FL, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; one sister, JoAnn Ritter, Floyd, VA; two sisters-in-law, Irene McWherter, Platte City, MO, and Dora McWherter, Nevada, MO. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, LaNell, two grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO, with John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Welborn Cemetery, Moundville, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Welborn Cemetery Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home.

Elmer Eugene 'Gene' Freeman, 79, Ft. Scott, KS, formerly of Nevada, passed away Monday morning, November 4, 2002, at Mercy Hospital, Ft. Scott, KS, following a short illness. He was born May 29, 1923, in Paul's Valley, OK, to Elmer Freeman and Willie M. Morris Freeman. He married Elizabeth Ann Wunderly on August 13, 1990, in Miami, OK, and she survives of the home. Mr. Freeman grew up in the Kansas City area. He worked for a railroad in Kansas City for a time. In the 1940's he moved to Nevada where he was a dairy farmer for many years in Vernon County until his retirement. Since his marriage in 1990, he has lived in Ft. Scott, KS, and has worked at the Whiteside East Grocery Store. Memberships include the Nevada Eagles Lodge; Rising Sun Masonic Lodge #8, Ft. Scott, KS; the Ft. Scott Scottish Rite, and was also a Shriner. Survivors in addition to his wife, Elizabeth Ann, of the home, include four stepchildren, and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edward Charles Freeman in 1947. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2002, at Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Interment will be in Newton Burial Park. Friends may call now and until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
