Daniel Braman, 97
LEBANON, N.H. -- Daniel G. Braman, 97, died Tuesday (Jan. 14, 1997) at the Genesis Extended Care Center. He had been a Dorchester, Mass., resident for most of his life and moved to the Parker House in Rochester, Vt., where he had resided for the past 3% years. Mr. Braman had worked for the H.P. Hood Co. and Walter Baker Chocolate Co. and the Boston Naval Shipyard before retiring in 1965. Mr. Braman served in the Army from 1917 to 1919 and in the Marine Corps from 1919 to 1921. He was born in Westhampton, Mass., on Sept. 23, 1899, the son of Daniel and Lula (Dayton) Braman. Survivors include two sons, Daniel E. Braman of Falmouth, Mass and Herbert F Braman of Grantham; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Clotilde T. Braman, in 1990. Edwin Amell, 75
CLAREMONT -- Edwin F. amell, 75, of Lower Main Street, died Tuesday (Jan. 14, 1997) at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont. Mr. Amell had been a Claremont resident for 57 years. He had worked at the old Sullivan Machine Co. and Joy Manufacturing Co. as a machinist many years ago and retired in 1982 from the city of Claremont Public Works Cemetery Department after 17 years of service. After his retirment he had worked part time for several people doing lawn care, driving cars and funeral assistance. Mr. Amell was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. He was born in Barnet, Vt., on July 5, 1921, the son of Edward and Pauline (Moquin) Amell. On May 24, 1941, he married Marie Barnes. Survivors include his wife, Marie Amell of Claremont; one son, Wayne Richard Amell of Acworth; three grandchildren; one stepgrandson; two greatgrandchildren; one sister, Irene Johnson of Claremont; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one son, Edwin F. Amell Jr., on April 5, 1964; two brothers, Delor Amell and Francis Amell; and four sisters, Marguerite McCrillis, Marion Small, Priscilla LaBlanc and Della Bean. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Stanley J. Piwowar, pastor, as celebrant. Interment

Evelyn Pond, 91
NEW LONDON, N.H. Evelyn C. Pond, 91, of Gould Road, died Friday (Jan. 10, 1997) at the William P. Clough Extended Care Center in New London. Mrs. Pond had resided in New London since 1925. She had worked as a waitress for many years at the Huntoon House, Soo-Nipi Park Lodge and the New London Inn. In 1955, she began working for Colby-Sawyer College as an aide to the president, Eugene M. Austin and his family, and later in the infirmary. She retired in 1980 after 25 years of service to the college. Mrs. Pond was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in New London and an active member of the Women's Society of the church. Mrs. Pond was a former member of the New London and Wilmot Grange. She was born in Limestone, Maine, on Sept. 22, 1905, the daughter of Fred and Lea (Caron) Berube. Survivors include one daughter, Judith P. Condict of New London; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Vivan Berube of Auburn, Maine; six sisters, Georgiana Mullally of Waterbury, Conn., Leona Pelletier of Auburn, Mabel Moser of Franktown, Colo., Laura Morey of Concord, N.H., Cecilia Sargeant of Newport and Evangeline Rayno of Wilmot Flat, N.H.; also nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Fatima Church in New London with the Rev. Richard T. Lower, pastor, celebrant. Hector Rock, 98
CLAREMONT -- Hector G. Rock, 93, formerly of Manor Drive, died Wednesday (Jan. 15, 1997) at the Sullivan County Nursing Home in Unity after a long illness. He had been a Claremont resident since 1973, when he moved there from his native Walden, Vt. Mr. Rock had been a farmer for most of his life in Walden and also operated his own sawmill. He had also been employed by the highway department for the town of Walden. He was born in Walden on Oct. 7, 1903, the son of George and Emily (Lambert) Rock. Survivors include four nieces, locally including Laverne Langton and Anita Bennett, both of Springfield; one nephew, James Bennett of Windsor; and several grandnieces and nephews and greatgrandnieces and nephews. A Christian Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Church with the Rev. Arthur Obin, pastor, as celebrant. Interment

Isabelle Brown, 79
UNITY -- Isabelle L. Brown, 79, died Thursday (Jan. 9, 1997) at the Sullivan County Nursing Home after a long illness. Miss Brown had resided in the nursing home for the past two years and previously resided in the Newport-Goshen area and prior to that had resided in Springfield, Mass., for many years. Miss Brown was a teacher in Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts and retired as a librarian from Classical High School in Springfield. She was born in Franklin, N.H., on June 13, 1917, the daughter of Arthur H. and Isolena N. (Marshall) Brown. Miss Brown graduated from Richards High School in Newport and attended school in Holyoke, Mass., and graduated from Syracuse University. Survivors include cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Free Will Baptist Church in North Sutton, N.H., with the Rev. Herschel Rogers, pastor, officiating. HINSDALE, N.H. -- Joan Davis Hill, 65, formerly of Pittsburg, N.H., died Wednesday (Jan. 15, 1997) at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Hill was employed at the Dartmouth College Athletic Department and in the Forestry Department and was later employed for 13 years by the Champion Paper Co. in West Stewartstown, N.H., retiring in 1989. She was born in Rutland, Vt., on June 6, 1931, the daughter of Floyd E. and Elizabeth (Barriere) Davis. Mrs. Hill was a 1949 gradute of Windsor High School. On March 14, 1964, she mar'ed Ransom "Bud" Hill in anover, N.H. Survivors include her husand, Bud Hill; three daughers, Dianne Lecuyer of Hinsdale, Susan Nicole of Vista, Calif., and Joyce M. Triller of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, LaVerne McIntyre of Jacksonville, Vt., and Kay McElroy of Wichita, Kan.; one grandson; and many nieces and nephews. A service of rememberance will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 21, 1997) at the Jacksonville Community Church in Jacksonville, Vt., by the Rev. Robin Reed Reese, pastor, officiating. Joseph Tied, 89
HANOVER, N.H. -- Joseph Shepard Tidd, 89, died Monday (Jan. 13, 1997) in the Cedar Hill Health Care Center in Windsor after a brief illness. Mr. Tidd had been cared for at Cedar Hill for the past 1% years and had previously resided in Hanover since retiring there in 1973. Mr. Tidd was a plant pathologist for the Associated Seed Growers in New Haven, Conn. During World War II, he worked in the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He served on the faculty of Dartmouth College from 1929 to 1931 and 1935 to 1943. Mr. Tidd loved all things Dartmouth and was a strong supporter of the Dartmouth women's basketball team since its inception. Mr. Tidd will be remembered for his staunch independent spirit, and his love of his wife, the Upper Valley and the Hanover community. He was born in Taunton, Mass., on April 8, 1907, the son of Winthrop Lowe and Margaret (Black) Tidd. Mr. Tidd was a 1928 graduate of Dartmouth College and earned his doctorate in botany from the University of Michigan in 1935. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Scobie of Hanover and Gail Kendrick of Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, in 1990; and, one son, Douglas, in 1990. A gathering of remembrance will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Scobie residence (his former home) at 13 Haskins Road in Hanover. There will be no visiting hours. CLAREMONT -- Juliette Marie Wentzell, 80, formerly of Lower Main Street, died Sunday (Jan. 12, 1997) at the Hillsboro County Nursing Home in Goffstown, N.H., after a long illness. Mrs. Wentzell had been a Merrimack, N.H., resident for the past four years and had previously resided in Claremont for most of her life. She was born in St. Helena, PQ, Canada on March 25, 1916, the daughter of Joseph and Celinare (Pelletier) Morin. Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie Bosely of Merrimack; one son, Otis C. Wentzell Jr., of Manchester, N.H.; six grandchildren; one brother, John Morin of Claremont; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Otis C. Wentzell Sr., in 1987; two sisters, Blanche Russel in 1994 and Bernadette Poirier in 1995; and one brother, George Morin in 1995. Lawrence 'Stub' Dimick, 78
WEST WINDSOR -- Lawrence "Stub" F. Dimick, 78, died Wednesday (Jan. 15, 1997) at the Cedar Hill Healthcare Center in Windsor. Mr. Dimick was a West Windsor resident for most of his life. He worked as a mechanic at the former Gibson Ford Garage in Windsor for 25 years. He was later employed by the town of Windsor as a mechanic for 10 years until his retirement in 1983. Mr. Dimick enjoyed making maple syrup at the Hammond Farm in West Windsor for many years. He was born in West Windsor on Feb. 5, 1918, the son of Floyd and Nellie (Chase) Dimick. Mr. Dimick received his education in West Windsor and attended Windsor High School. On Dec. 20, 1958, he married Viola Cowdrey in West Windsor. Survivors include his wife, Viola Dimick of Windsor; two daughters, Joanne Savery of Claremont and Gail Utter of Lempster; two stepdaughters, Renie Clark of Etna, N.H., and Marilyn Tobin of South Royalton, Vt.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Gary Dimick; three brothers, Wayne Dimick, George Dimick Sr. and Kenneth Dimick; one sister, Ila Hammond; and one stepdaughter, Muriel Atwood. WINDSOR -- Martha H. Garfield, 88, died Thursday (Jan. 9, 1997) at the Skilled Nursing Facility at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor. Mrs. Garfield had been a longtime Windsor area resident and had resided in the Gilbert F. Davis Home for the Aged in Windsor since 1989. She had been employed as an operator with the former Windsor Telephone Office for many years. Mrs. Garfield was a member of the Rachel S. Harlow United Methodist Church in Windsor. She was born in Northfield, Vt., on Jan. 24, 1908, the daughter of Guy and Olive (Freeman) Howe. Mrs. Garfield received her schooling in Northfield and Windsor and was a 1929 graduate of Windsor High School. On Aug. 31, 1940, she married Gordon Garfield in Windsor. He died in 1977. Survivors include one brother, Herbert G. Howe in Cleveland, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Charles Howe, in 1996. Mattie Kenyon, 95
CORNISH -- Mattie O. Kenyon, 95, formerly of Parsonage Road, died Tuesday (Jan. 14, 1997) at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Newport after a long illness. She had resided in Cornish for most of her life. Mrs. Kenyon was a waitress during World War II, when she lived with her husband in Chicago, Ill. She was a member of the Sew N' Sew Club and the South Cornish Home Dem Club. Mrs. Kenyon was a 60-year member of the Cornish Grange. Mr. Kenyon loved her many flower beds and house plants and doing housework. She was born in Cornish on Sept. 20, 1901, the daughter of Arthur and Lula (Bixby) Walker. Mrs. Kenyon attended schools in Cornish and was a graduate of Windsor High School. On June 25, 1921, she married Carroll E. Kenyon. He died April 10, 1968. Survivors include one son, Arthur G. Kenyon of Cornish; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Beverly) Rockwood of Chelsea and Mrs. Kurt (Kathleen) Train of Plaistow, N.H.; 14 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 25 stepgreat-grandchildren; 18 step greatgrandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one son, Randall C. Kenyon on Jan. 4, 1991; two sisters; and one brother. Robert 'Bob' Morrison, 56
WINDSOR -- Robert "Bob" G. Morrison, 56, died suddenly Saturday (Jan. 11, 1997) at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital Emergency Room in Windsor. He was a longtime Windsor area resident and had previously resided in Massachusetts. Mr. Morrison was a master plumber and had been employed for a few years by L.C. Kent Plumbing & Heating in Windsor and later by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Windsor for 13 years and was most recently employed by Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., as a licenced master plumber for 10 years. He led his own band "Bob Morrison and Friends" for many years, playing throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. Mr. Morrison was a member of the Windsor Lodge B.P.O.E. No. 1665. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Windsor. Mr. Morrison greatly enjoyed watching modified auto racing at the Claremont Speedway and playing his guitar. He was born in Ware, Mass., on April 30, 1940, the son of Gordon and Toni (Zelasko) Morrison. Mr. Morrison attended school in Hardwick, Mass., and was a 1958 Hardwick High School graduate. He received his master plumbing license after five years in area trade school. On Sept. 19, 1965, he married Tana Stillson in Hartland. Survivors include his wife, Tana Morrison of Windsor; his mother of Brookfield, Mass. one son, Chuck Morrison of Windsor; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a very special friend, Bernie Bartlett of Lebanon, N.H. There will be a special gathering at the family's request of family and friends to celebrate Bob's life from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion Hall in Windsor. Florence Witham, 78
NEWPORT -- Florence S. Witham, 78, died Jan. 5, 1997, at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Newport. Mrs. Witham had been an area resident since moving with her family to Grey Ledges in Grantham in 1959. During the nearly 40 years that followed she lived in several other area towns including Newport where she had been a resident since the mid-1970s. Mrs. Witham had held various positions over the years including the GoshenLempster Cooperative School food service manager, the Claremont Daily Eagle in the circulation department, and as manager of the Mount Sunapee Motel, which she retired from in the mid 1970s. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany of Newport. She was a member of the Newport chapter of the Sullivan County Home Extension. Mrs. Witham was also a member of the Lempster Grange. While living in the Stroudwater neighborhood of Portland, Maine, Mrs. Witham was a member of the Portland Garden Club and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She was born in Bar Harbor, Maine, on Aug. 26, 1918, the daughter of Pearl Wellington and Dorothy (Searle) Salisbury. Mrs. Witham was a 1938 graduate of Bar Harbor High School and received her pediatric nursing degree from St. Mary's. On March 3, 1946, she married Wesley Witham, son of Leroy and Florence (Purrington) Witham of Standish, Maine. He died on Jan. 2, 1996. Survivors include one son, Steven Witham of Cornish; one daughter, Linda W. Smith of Naples, Fla.; three grandchildren; one stepson, Larry Witham of Seabrook, N.H.; and three step-grandchildren. She chose cremation and requested the family hold a special service in Bar Harbor. Her family and close friends will meet on Cadillac Mountain to reunite Wesley and Florence. Herman Barth, 68
ACWORTH -- Herman Barth, 68, of Hill Road, died Wednesday (Jan. 22, 1997) at the veterans hospital in White River Junction, Vt. Mr. Barth had been an Acworth resident for several years and had previously resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a meat cutter in New York City for 37 years and after moving to Acworth he was a contract carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Alstead until his retirement in 1992. He was then an attendant at the Acworth Recycling Center. He was a former member of the V.F.W. in Keene, N.H. Mr. Barth was also a former member of the Elks Club and the Country Club in Bellows Falls. He was born in Brooklyn. N.Y., on March 21, 1928, the son of Frederick and Elizabeth (Stidel) Barth. Mr. Barth attended schools in Brooklyn. On Dec. 10, 1949, he married Caroline Pettersen in St. Mathias Church in Queens, N.Y. Survivors include his wife, Caroline Barth of Acworth; four sons, William Barth of Warren N.H., Fred Barth of Clarksville, Tenn., Peter Barth of Acworth and Richard Barth of Charlestown; four daughters, Barbara Vieginer of Langdon, Carol Fish of West Swanzey, N.H., Mary Barth of Charlestown and Zeta Barth of Acworth; two brothers, Robert Barth of Flanders, N.J., and Fred Barth of Panama City, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three nieces. Helen O'Brien, 82
WINDSOR -- Helen B. O'Brien, 82, died Saturday (Jan. 18, 1997) at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor. Mrs O'Brien was employed for several years in asssembly at the Cone-Blanchard Machine Shop in Windsor. She had operated an antique shop and a vegetable stand in Ascutney. Mrs. O'Brien was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 2 in Windsor. She was a member of the Ascutney Union Church. Mrs. O'Brien enjoyed read- ing, gardening and needle- point. She was born in Bethel, Vt., on Jan. 21, 1914, the daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Benoir) Blanchard. Mrs. O'Brien attended schools in Bethel and Randolph, Vt. On Feb. 6, 1937, she married William B. O'Brien. He died on July 30, 1982. Survivors include one niece and four nephews, locally George O'Brien of Walpole. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Russell and Irene Russell. Henry Rainey, 60
NEWPORT -- Henry Rainey, 60, of Elm Terrace, died Tuesday (Jan. 21, 1997) at New London Hospital. He had been a Newport resident for the past 11 years and was raised in Laconia, N.H. Mr. Rainey had been a member of the Newport Lions Club. He was also a member of the Jaycees. Mr. Rainey was very active with volunteer work in his community. He was born in North Stratford, Vt., on Nov. 22, 1936, the son of Chester and Emma (Riff) Rainey. Mr. Rainey had received his education in Laconia schools. Survivors include his extended family of volunteer workers and members of the Elm Terrace Home. James Jardine, 87
James Jardine -- WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -- James H. Jardine, 87, died Monday (Jan. 20, 1997) at the Brookside Nursing Home. He had resided for a brief period in the Boston area then moved to Chester and in 1956 moved to White River Junction. Mr. Jardine had worked for a brief time at the Thompson Island Farm and Trade School for Boys in Boston, Mass., and was captain of the Pilgrim III Ferry Boat in Boston Harbor. He later was a carpenter in Chester. In 1956, he began work as a nurses' aid in the Veterans Administration Hospital in White River Junction and retired in 1977 after 20 years of service. During World War II, he served in the Army in the Philippines Air and Sea Rescue Division. Mr. Jardine was a 41-year member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in White River Junction, where he served on the Vestry Committee, as a parish delegate and as a member of the choir. He sang in many area Barbershop Quartets and was a 31-year member of the SPEBSQUA of the North Country Chordsmen Barber Shoppers. Mr. Jardine was also a member of the Jardine Scottish Clan Society, Atlantic Branch, Canada and Dumphries, Scotland. He was born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island on Aug. 7, 1909, the son of James C. and Ida (Mill) Jardine. On Aug. 14, 1948, he married Shirley Martin in Chester. She died on May 28, 1994. Jeannette Kotomski, 81
CLAREMONT -- Jeannette T. Kotomski, 81, of Heritage Drive, died Wednesday (Jan. 22, 1997) at Valley Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She was a lifelong Claremont resident. Mrs. Kotomski worked in area shoe shops many years ago. For more than 25 years she was a waitress at the Pleasant Restaurant and for a short time at Cyril's Steak House at the Junction. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. Mrs. Kotomski was a member of the Community Action Program of Sullivan County. She was born in Claremont on July 6, 1915, the daughter of Cammille E. and Marie Rose (Simoneau) Giroux. Mrs. Kotomski was a 1933 graduate of Stevens High School. On Sept. 5, 1938, she married Albert Kotomski. He died on Dec. 2, 1987. Survivors include one son, Francis A. Kotomski of Hampden, Mass; three grandchildren; and one brother, Roland Giroux of Claremont. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Stanley J. Piwowar, pastor, as celebrant. Interment

John Larkin, 82
WINDSOR -- John P. Larkin, 82, died Saturday (Jan. 18, 1997) at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Mr. Larkin was a Windsor resident for most of his life. He was employed with the Duff Dairy in West Windsor briefly before 39 years of employment with the Windsor Post Office until his retirement. For several years, while working at the post office, he also did wallpapering and painting. Mr. Larkin operated the Windsor Country Club in 1962 and was instrumental in it's operation for many years, so much that they eventually named the club the John P. Larkin Country Club. He was a member of the Vermont and New England Golf Associations and the Vermont and New England Seniors Golf Associations. During World War II, he served in the Navy. Mr. Larkin was a member of the St. Assisi Church in Windsor. He was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 25 in Windsor. Mr. Larkin was a strong supporter of Windsor athletic programs. He was born in Windsor on Oct. 15, 1914, the son of Patrick and Helen (Phillips) Larkin. Mr. Larkin attended schools in Windsor and graduated from high school in Greenwich, Conn., in 1932. On Oct. 9, 1937, he married Cecile Belisle in Windsor. She died in 1978. Survivors include one daughter, Leanna Willard of Windsor; three sons, Thomas Larkin of Walton, Vt., James Larkin of Windsor and Francis Larkin of Burlington, Vt.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one niece. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Katherine Janion in 1990 and Alice Hannah in 1994. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor with the Rev. Robert J. Campbell, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery in Windsor. Visiting hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor. Marlene Murphy, 60
CLAREMONT -- Marlene A. Murphy, 60, of East Green Mountain Road, died Friday (Jan. 18, 1997) at her home after a sudden illness. She moved to Vermont with her family in 1949 and then to New Hampshire in the mid-1950s. Mrs. Murphy was an area sales representative for both Fuller Brush and Avon. Mrs. Murphy enjoyed her grandchildren and being outdoors in the sunshine. She was born in New Haven, Conn., on Oct. 8, 1936, the daughter of William and Julia (Pascale) Moore. Survivors include four sons, Scott Murphy of Danbury, N.H., Randy Murphy of Lebanon, N.H., Patrick Murphy and Christian Murphy, both of Claremont; one daughter, Kristen Lantas of Hrownsville; six grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Lyman of Derry, N.H., and Jacqueline Stankevich of Springfield; also several nieces and nephews. A Christian Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Church in Springfield with the Rev. Joseph LaGrow, associate pastor, as celebrant. Interment

Warren White, 91
CHESTER -- Warren Francis White, 91, died Tuesday (Jan. 21, 1997) at the Gill Odd Fellows Home in Ludlow. Mr. White worked for Bryant Chucking and Grinder for 12 years. He was also one of the original crew that established the General Electric operation in Ludlow, working there for 19 years. Mr. White owned and operated a home appliance sales and service business for many years. He was the first person to electrify homes in South Acworth. Mr. White was known for his quality workmanship and perfectionism. He was born in Dunbarton, N.H., on June 15, 1905, the son of James Francis and Ethel (Crane) White. Mr. White received his education at Chester High School and later completed a correspondence course from the Chicago Engineering Works Inc. for his electrical license. On Oct. 22, 1977, he married Veontha Ward in Chester. Survivors include his wife, Veontha White of Chester; one daughter, Sally Bratton of Chester; two stepsons, Milan W.W. Cook of Chester and Kenneth C. Cook of Ludlow; one stepdaughter, Melody A. Cassista of New London, N.H.; two sisters, Elvira Walsh of Glastonbury, Conn., and Mildred Thyot of Garner, N.C.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Stella Hawkins in 1973; one daughter, Cynthia in 1944; and two sisters, Ruth LaGrange and Ethlyn Webster. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Adams-Gendron Funeral Home on Main Street in Chester, with the Rev. Nick Boke officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Chester. There will be no visiting hours but the family home on Church Street will be open following the funeral service to family and friends.
