Dorothy and Milton Justad
Funeral services for Milton (Bill) Justad, 90, and Dorothy Justad, 86, both of Cedar, took place Dec. 11 at Strike Funeral Home-Isanti Chapel. Rev. Steve Melander officiated.
Dorothy Justad died Dec. 8 at the Cambridge Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 15, 1912 in Chicago, Ill., to Herbert and Margaret Adams. She was a member of the Minneapolis and Cambridge kennel clubs and a horse riding teacher at Breck Academy and Bunker Hills Riding Stable.
Milton Justad died Dec. 10 at the Cambridge Health Care Center. He was born Jan. 27, 1908 in Minneapolis to Anton and Maren Justad. He was a bank teller.
The Justads are survived by their daughter-in-law, Carol Justad of Cedar; grandson, Tim and wife Robin Justad of Isanti; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Miranda, Katrina and Samantha; and nieces and nephews.
The Justads were preceded in death by their son, Ronald. Milton Justad was also preceded in death by three brothers; and a sister.
Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home-Isanti Chapel.

Joanne M. Minor
Funeral services for Joanne Marie Minor, 33, of Fridley, took place Dec. 12 at Christ Lutheran Church, Blaine. Rev. David Spong officiated.
Minor died Dec. 7 in Fridley. She was born Dec. 28, 1964 in Minneapolis to Jack W. Davison and Judith A. Laugen. She was an office manager assistant and a graduate of Spring Lake Park High School, Lowthian College and Concord Dental School.
She is survived by her husband, Keith; sons, Joshua and Jeremy; parents, Jack and Judy Davison; brother, John Davison and his son Erik-Jon; sister, Jennifer Thomas and husband Mike and their daughters, Samantha and Sarah; and grandmothers, Marjorie Davison and Ruth Laugen.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Clint Davison and Bert Laugen.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Gearhart Coon Rapids Chapel.

Marshall B. Gerads
Funeral services for Marshall B. Gerads, 39, of Blaine, took place Dec. 10 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Gerads died Dec. 7 in Fridley. He was born April 26, 1959 in Minneapolis. Gerads was self-employed.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Shelly and Tony; step-children, Jamie and Cole; mother, Barb and husband Lee Klienwachter; brother, Russell; sister, Lynn and husband Dale Kratchonill; stepsister, Michell Klienwachter; niece, nephews and other relatives; and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Kurtis J. Meyer
Funeral services for Kurtis J. Meyer, 50, of Blaine, took place Dec. 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lucan.
Meyer died Dec. 8. He was born Aug. 2, 1948.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Nicki and husband Joe, Tammy and friend Wade; son, Jamie; granddaughters, Ashley and Kayla; parents, Leona and Jake; and brothers, Dan and wife Deb, Lauren and wife Joyce.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Russell D. Tyssedal
Memorial services for Russell David Tyssedal, 61, of Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 11 at Grace Lutheran Church, Andover. Rev. Mark Skinner officiated.
Tyssedal died Dec. 6 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wis., to Soren Halfdan and Lucille Josephina Horton Tyssedal. He worked in the steel industry until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Marie of Coon Rapids; daughters, Brenda and husband Jeffrey Buelt of Anoka, Debra and husband Steven Johnson of Andover, Patti Sansalone of Shreveport, La.; son, David and fiancee Christine Galloway of Fairbanks, Alaska; six grandchildren; sisters, Irene Anthony of Pocatello, Idaho, Peggy Broeren of Greenfield, Wis.; and brothers, Earl and wife Joyce of Eugene, Ore., Harold and wife Pat of Frederic, Wis., and Don and wife Reeva of Embarrass.
Arrangements were by Pease Funeral Home, St. James.

Gilbert Bluemke
Funeral services for Gilbert Bluemke, 77, of Wyoming, took place Dec. 14 at Olive Branch Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Richard Lindeman officiated.
Bluemke died Dec. 9 in Minneapolis. He was born May 28, 1921 in Shawano County, Wis. He worked in building construction.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; children, Gregory and wife Nancy, Gary, Debra and husband Ervin Oertel, Beth and husband Scott Enga; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Lenore Flessert, Inez Heling; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, James Bluemke; and son, Randall Roy Bluemke.
Pallbearers were Christopher, Robert, and Matthew Bluemke, Kevin and Daniel Oertel, and Jeffrey Montgomery.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Erik Froiland
Funeral services for Erik Froiland, 24, of Blaine, took place Dec. 12 at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church. Revs. Joel Lambert and Philip Froiland officiated.
Froiland died Dec. 9 in Coon Rapids. He was born Dec. 25, 1973 in St. Paul. Froiland worked in the landscape business.
He is survived by his father, Robert; mother, Sheryl; brothers, Lars and wife Julie, Dane and friend Dena; grandmother, Dorothy Nultemeier; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Dorothy Froiland, and Donald Nultemeier.
Pallbearers were Lars and Dane Froiland, Chad Boe, Matt Blum, Troy Robinson, and Tom Erickson.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Mary Jean Beck
Funeral services for Mary Jean Beck, 73, of Circle Pines, took place Dec. 12 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Blaine.
Beck died Dec. 9 in Fridley. She was born May 9, 1925 in Fridley to Goodwin Olson and Stella Hexum. She was the church organist at Our Savior’s for 32 years.
She is survived by her husband, Willis C.; children, Earl Beck and wife Pat, Rodney Beck and wife Linda, Linda Jermstad and husband Chuck, Tim Beck and wife Jenny; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Goodwin and Stella Olson; and brothers, Donald Olson and Earl Olson.
Pallbearers were Brian Beck, Scott Jermstad, Tim Burgoyne, Jamie Chester, Allen Aune, and Kenneth Olson.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel.

Ruth L. Norton
Funeral services for Ruth L. Norton, 81, of Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 8 at Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kenneth Rice officiated.
Norton died Dec. 5 in Robbinsdale. She was born Dec. 15, 1916 in Marysville, Kan., to Rex Longergan and Allie Chaffer. She was a social worker.
She is survived by her children, Harrison Norton, Karen and husband Donald Straub, Rance and wife Jean Norton, William and wife Betty Norton, Linda and husband Douglas Mitchell, June and husband Richard Nygaard; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Wilma Zaun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Byrd; and grandson, David.
Pallbearers were Ron Weber, Jeff Rolf, Dan Zylla, Ron Wilson, Brad Mitchell, and Paul Vagasky.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel.

Audrey M. Mueller
Funeral services for Audrey M. Mueller, 73, of Andover, took place Dec. 15 at Parkway United Church of Christ. Rev. Ronald Meyer officiated.
Mueller died Dec. 12 in Andover. She was born Aug. 17, 1925 in Winnipeg, Canada.
She is survived by her husband, Roy; daughter, Gail and husband Mike Schultz; and sister, Lillian Huber.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Tyler J. Lachney
Funeral services for Tyler J. Lachney, 6 months, took place Dec. 17 at Strike Funeral Home-Isanti Chapel. Rev. David Gerhardt officiated.
He died Dec. 12 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born June 12, 1998 in Cambridge to Jamie Jorgenson and Kyle Lachney.
He is survived by his parents, Jamie and Kyle of Cambridge; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Parrish of Bethel, Bradlee Jorgensen of New Hope; paternal grandparents, Cindy Lachney of Cambridge, Buford Lachney Jr. of Marksville, La.; maternal great-grandparents, Earl and Shirleyann Parrish of Bovey; paternal great-grandparents, Jerry Rumpel of Isanti, Theresa Longino of Cambridge, Flora Lachney of Marksville, La.; uncle, Jay Jorgenson of Cedar; aunts, Jena Jorgenson of Bethel, Connie Sue Lachney of Cambridge; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Mary Lou Jones; and by paternal great-grandfather, Buford Lachney.
Pallbearers were Jay Jorgenson, Pat Parrish, Jason Pantlin, and Roger Paine.
Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery, Nowthen. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home- Isanti Chapel.

Thomas J. Nolan
Funeral services for Thomas J. Nolan, 63, of Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 10 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home-Anoka Chapel. Rev. Allan Grant officiated.
Nolan died Dec. 6. He was born Aug. 14, 1935 in Minneapolis to Thomas F. and Henry Nolan. He married Jackie Nolan and worked in retail inventory service. Nolan was a member of Mercy Hospital’s “Mended Hearts” program.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Nolan; sons, Scott and wife Mary Nolan, Pat and wife Cyndi Nolan; daughter, Kelly and husband Glenn Menear; grandchildren, Michelle Nolan, Angie Menear, Brad Menear, Rachelle Nolan, Lisa Nasby; great-grandchildren, Briyelle Nasby; and sisters, Margie and husband Jim Weisner, Patti Christle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas F. Nolan.
Pallbearers were Shawn Nasby, Steve Kopp, Dave Schuette, Tim Howe, Glenn and Brad Menear, Lee Neumann, and Marvin Christenson.
Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home- Anoka Chapel.

Margaret Dahlheimer
Funeral services for Margaret Lucille Dahlheimer, 83, of Anoka, took place Dec. 15 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tom Wilson officiated.
Dahlheimer died Dec. 12 at Mercy Hospital. She was born April 2, 1915 in north Mankato to Louis Jaehn and Edna Larson.
She is survived by her sons, Richard and wife Teresita, Thomas; grandchildren, Mindy, Jolane, Amanda, Cassie and Kyle; great-grandson, Ryan; and sister, Mertice Veith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Edward.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Chapel.

Marlin A. Vickstrom
Memorial services for Marlin A. Vickstrom, 70, of Bethel, took place Dec. 17 at Strike Funeral Home-Isanti Chapel.
Vickstrom died Dec. 12 at his residence. He was born Aug. 2, 1928 in Hassan Township to Anton and Martha Vickstrom. He was a master mechanic and had owned and operated his own business, Mavco Equipment, in Bethel since the early 1970s.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla; sons, Donald, John, Robert and wife Val, Richard and wife Robin; grandchildren, Renee, Racheal, Micheal, Jenny, Sara, Derek, Shane, Shawn, Marlin, Katie, Sheila; great-grandchildren, Jaicee, Dillon; sisters, Elda Kriesel, Agatha Landin, and Ardell Landin; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Martha; brother, Linus; and sister, Eleanore Weinhold.
Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home-Isanti Chapel.

Jennie B. Hagquist
Funeral services for Jennie B. Hagquist (Olstad), 92, Minneapolis, took place Dec. 17 at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church Church, Minneapolis. Rev. Roger Hardy officiated.
Hagquist died Dec. 13 at Park Crest Care Center, Minneapolis. She was born March 17, 1906 in Minneapolis.
She is survived by sons, Gerald Olstad and wife Marolyn, Loren Olstad and wife Phyllis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephew, Raymond Schalow and wife Judy; and niece, Sandra Wichman and husband Dennis.
Interment was at Crystal Lake Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Yvonne Segelstrom
Funeral services for Yvonne M. Segelstrom, 90, of Frederic, Wis.,. took place Dec. 16 at Thurston-Lindberg Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Bill Deziel officiated.
Segelstrom died Dec. 11 at Frederic Care Center. She was born Dec. 1, 1908 in Hennepin County to Oscar and Amanda Guilbert Amireault.
She is survived by her brother, Albiny and wife Margrete Amireault of New Brighton; sister, Julia Ouellette of Robbinsdale; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Segelstrom.
Pallbearers were family members.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Marjorie G. O’Dette
Funeral services for Marjorie G. O’Dette, 77, of Anoka, will take place Sunday, Dec. 20, 2 p.m., at First Congregational Church of Anoka. Revs. Myles Alexander and Kay Welsch will officiate.
O’Dette died Dec. 12 at Mercy Hospital. She was born April 20, 1921 in Chicago, Ill., to James and Grace Vanderkloot Filipek. She worked for many years as a registered nurse at the Anoka State Hospital and Twin Rivers Care Center. O’Dette was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in North Africa and Italy as a second lieutenant.
She is survived by her husband, Ohrn; son, Ohrn “Skip” O’Dette of Anoka; daughter, Laurie Danielson of New Berlin, Wis.; grandson, Steve Danielson; granddaughter, Elaine Danielson; and sister, Jeanne Jordon of Wheaton, Ill.
Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Daniel H. Stenquist
Graveside services for Daniel H. Stenquist, 51, of Aitkin, took place Dec. 11 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Rev. Liane Rock officiated.
Stenquist died suddenly Dec. 6 at his residence. He was born Aug. 13, 1947 in Anoka to Arvid O. and Elsie M. Smith Stenquist. He was retired from the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his son, Chad and wife Wendy Stenquist; daughter, Peggy and husband Randy Judnitch, all of Aitkin; grandchildren, Ashley, Douglas, Zachary; mother, Elsie Atkins of Champlin; father, Arvid Stenquist of Anoka; two sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Steve and Bob MacGlover, Jason and Joe Stenquist, and Adam and Warren Dryden.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Donald R. Berndt
Memorial services for Donald R. Berndt, 64, Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 8 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Berndt died Dec. 6 in Fridley. He was born April 27, 1935 in Minneapolis. He was employed in insurance.
He is survived by his wife, Shirlee; sons, Mark and Paulette, Mike and Jeannie; grandchildren, Jack, Erika, Paul, Brittni, Samuel; William; and brother, Robert.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
