James B. Johnson
James “Jim” B. Johnson, 65, of Litchfield, and the husband of former Windom resident Barbara Flatebo, died June 16, 2004, at Emmanuel Home in Litch-field following a two-and-a-half-year battle with brain cancer.
Services were held Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield with Rev. Harvey Nelson officiating.
Interment was at Ness Cemetery in Litchfield.
Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home of Litchfield was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
James “Jim” Burdell Johnson was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Litch-field to Clifford and Irene (Sten-berg) Johnson. He was confirmed in Ness Lutheran Church, graduated from Litchfield High School in 1956 and entered the U.S. Air Force that same year.
He also attended St. Cloud State College from 1958 to 1960.
In 1960, Jim married Barbara Flatebo in Windom.
He served with the 96th Troop Carrier Squadron of the Twin Cities for just over a month in 1962, having been activated during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He attended the University of Minnesota-St. Paul, graduated in 1965 with a degree in veterinary medicine and accepted a research position at the U of M College of Veterinary Medicine.
In 1966, he moved to Annandale to work in large animal practice before moving to Willmar two years later to work for Earl B. Olson Farms, Inc. In 1984, he began working for Britnon Veterinary Supply, Inc.
Jim started his own consulting business in 1991, working with turkey growers in the Upper Midwest, and a year later started the Clip Clop Trolley. He also worked at Big Bear, The Litchfield Woolen Mills and drove school bus in Litchfield.
In 1995, Jim began working at Willmar Poultry Company. He purchased Prints Charming in Litchfield in 1999 and retired from Willmar Poultry in 2004.
Jim received the Ranelius Award from the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association in March for work he did for the Minnesota turkey industry.
He enjoyed farming, fishing, flying and his horses.
He was preceded in death by twin grandsons.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Litchfield; children: Joel Johnson, Mark (Missy) Johnson, Eric Johnson and Stephanie Johnson (friend Doug Olson), all of Litchfield; and Jennifer (Alan) Pecarina, of Buffalo; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Adell Johnson of Silver City, N.M.

Luella Brugman
Luella Brugman, 75, of Mt. Lake died June 17, 2004, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Services were held Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Lake with Lay Pastor Anna Mae Han-devidt officiating.
Interment will be at Rest-haven Memory Gardens Cemetery in rural Windom.
Bjerum Funeral Home of Mt. Lake was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Luella May Hyde was born June 15, 1929, to Ray and Grace (Anthony) Hyde in Windom. She graduated from Bingham Lake High School in 1947 and continued her education at Mankato Commercial College in Mankato.
In 1949, Luella married Merle C. Brugman at United Methodist Church in Bingham Lake. The couple made their home and farmed together north of Bingham Lake before moving to Mt. Lake.
Merle died in 1982.
Luella was a member of Bingham Lake United Methodist Church and later transferred to First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Lake.
She enjoyed spending time with family and having coffee with friends, playing cards, bird-watching, watching sports on TV and solving crossword puzzles.
In addition to her husband Merle, Luella was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Brugman; and a brother, Raymond Hyde.
Survivors include her three sons: Dennis (Julie) Brugman of Mt. Lake, Wendell Brugman of Hutchinson and Vernon (Cheryl) Brugman of Stewart; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister-in-law, Betty Hyde.

Birdie Soleta
Birdie Soleta, 78, of Willmar, formerly of Windom, died Sunday at Prairie Senior Cottages in Will-mar.
Services were held Thursday at 10 a.m., at American Lutheran Church in Windom with Rev. Stephen Norby and Rev. Gregory Hall officiating.
Special music was provided by Carol Vought, organist; and Jason Klassen, pianist.
Casketbearers were Willard Schroeder, Ted Horkey, Dr. Robert Stone, Randy Piper, Mike Hogan and Bob Piper.
Interment was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in rural Windom.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Birdie FitzHenry was born Feb. 26, 1926, to Ray and Birdie (Shallenberger) FitzHenry in Marathon, Iowa. The family later moved to Heron Lake.
Birdie’s mother died when Birdie was 11 years old. She lived with her father, Ray, and stepmother, Minnie, and at times with her sisters, Estella Piper and Dolly Winkler.
Birdie attended the Methodist Church in Heron Lake, and received her education in Heron Lake Schools, graduating in 1945.
In 1947, Birdie married William Robert Soleta in Miami Beach, Fla. Bob’s Air Force career took them to Florida, Virginia, Texas, California and Illinois. During the Korean Conflict, Birdie and their first two children lived on Okina-wa, where Bob was stationed.
In 1953, the family returned to Windom, where they established their home and business.
In recent years, Birdie suffered from advanced Parkinson’s disease. Since 1998, she had been a resident at Harmony House and Sogge Good Samaritan Center in Windom, Eventide Home in Mt. Lake, and Prairie Senior Cottages in Willmar.
Birdie and family joined American Lutheran Church after returning to Windom. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and following her husband, Bob, throughout the United States on business.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; a son, Jon Robert; brothers, William and Roy FitzHenry; and a sister, Estella Piper.
Survivors include her two daughters, Cindy (Arlen) Klassen of Mt. Lake and Susan (Bo) Os-carson of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Dolly Winkler of Wentworth, S.D.

Lillian Groth
Lillian Groth, 93, of Prior Lake, formerly of Windom, died June 15, 2004, at Minnesota Masonic Home in Bloomington.
A memorial service was held Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prior Lake.
Casketbearers were Randy Geister, Donald Fristad, Dale Michael Groth, Kevin Groth, David Guetschow and Kim Malmgren.
Interment was at Sherburn City Cemetery in Sherburn.
Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home of Prior Lake was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Lillian D. Koep was born July 21, 1910, to Peter and Minnie (Ruetz) Koep in Windom.
She married Arthur Grothe and worked in the office for a telephone company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a sister, Rubye Hiebert of Mt. Lake; a friend Orma Geister; and a godchild, Randy Geister.

Robert Studer Jr.
Robert Studer Jr., 47, of Mankato died June 14, 2004, at his home in Mankato after a battle with diabetes.
Services were held Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome with Rev. Jackie Ziemer officiating.
Special music was provided by Kay Pope, organist; and Travis Studer, soloist.
Casketbearers were Kevin Hochstein, Anthony Baumgart, Mervin Williams, Jesse Odegaard, Randy Pierce, Bruce Ehlert, Marlin Palm and Orlin Palm.
Interment with military honors provided by Welcome American Legion Post 553 was at St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery in Sherburn.
Robert Henry Studer Jr. was born Feb. 19, 1957, to Robert Sr. and Erma (Stalker) Studer in Fairmont. He graduated from Welcome High School and served in the U.S. Army.
In 1980, he married Dianne Palm.
Bob was employed in apartment management with Atwood Land Company in Mankato. He also had been employed as a security guard, Medi-Van driver and as the Jolly Old Elf at Christmas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Studer; a stepson, Corey Broten; a nephew, Bill Odegaard; and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Studer of Mankato; sons, Travis (Christa) Studer of Janes-ville and Troy Studer of Mankato; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Hochstein of Jeffers; stepchildren: Cherie (Randy) Pierce of Fairmont, Lonnie (Lonna) Broten of Mt. Lake, Charlene (Charles) Wolle of Mt. Lake and Denise (Jason) Purrington of Windom; 16 grandchildren; his father, Robert Studer Sr. of Welcome; sisters, Lorraine (Bruce) Ehlert and Elayne Baumgart, all of Fairmont; and Bonnie Williams of Worthington.

Elizabeth Gudmestad
Elizabeth “Betty” Gudmestad, 78, of Windom died July 21, 2004, at Sogge Good Samaritan Center in Windom.
Services will be held today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m., at American Lutheran Church in Windom with Rev. Stephen Norby and Rev. Gregory Hall officiating.
Special music will be provided by Karen Wojahn, organist; and Marv Einertson, vocalist.
Casketbearers will be Rick Nelson, Henry Wieman, Melvin Wojahn, Daniel McDonald, Lloyd Stucke and Donovan Flatgard.
Honorary bearers will be James Remund, James Dokken, Vern Steffens and Jim Miller.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Granum was born April 27, 1926, to Harold J. and Anna (Springen) Granum in Windom. She was baptized and later confirmed at American Lutheran Church in Windom. She received her education in Windom Schools, graduating in 1944.
She attended St. Olaf College for one year, then transferred to the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1948 with a degree in education.
In 1948, Betty married Ken Gud-mestad at American Lutheran Church in Windom. The couple moved to Anoka, where Betty worked as school librarian while Ken was in law school.
In 1950, the Gudmestads moved to Howard Lake where Betty taught several different subjects, and in 1964, they returned to Windom where Betty was a wife, mother and involved in the community.
Betty was a member of American Lutheran Church and its WELCA and PACE. She also taught release time and confirmation, was involved in the cradle roll, served as wedding coordinator and helped with Bible study (Mary Circle Study) at Sogge Good Samaritan Center in Windom.
She also was a member of RSVP, Friends of the Library, served on the Sogge Good Samaritan Center Board, was an election judge and helped start Dollars for Scholars. A member of P.E.O. Chapter J, Order of the Eastern Star and the Interlochen Club, Betty also was involved with community plays in Windom and served on the Worthington Community College Board.
Playing bridge, gardening and spending time with family were among her enjoyments in life.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Gudmestad of Windom; three daughters, Julie Gudmestad and Amy Gudmestad, both of Minneapolis, and Lorie (Douglas) Wilson of Newton, Iowa; a son, Robert (Beth) Gudmestad of Mem-phis, Tenn.; one grandson; and a first cousin, Marion Handy of Fosston.

Margaret Bergendahl
Margaret Bergendahl, 87, of Windom died July 24, 2004, at Fairmont Medical Center in Fairmont.
Services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2:30 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Windom with Rev. Michael Hibbs officiating.
Special music will be provided by Joanne Nel-son, organist; Keith Lohse, vocalist; and John Michael Hughes, bagpipes.
Casketbearers will be Michael Bergendahl, Douglas Bergendahl, Jeffrey Bergendahl, Steven Ward, Paul Hartberg and Eric Ward.
Honorary bearers will be Molly Pooler, Hilary Bergendahl, Lisa Fredin and Stephanie Hartberg.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
Visitation will be held today at the church in Windom for one hour prior to services.
Margaret Marie Haywood was born June 18, 1917, to Bert H. and Margaret (Sangl) Haywood in Montgomery, Iowa. She was baptized at an early age in Montgomery, and received her education in the Montgomery area.
In 1935, Margaret married Her-bert Bergendahl in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The couple farmed near Lake Park, Iowa; Lakefield; and in northern Minnesota.
For 10 years, Margaret was an egg candler in Jackson until becoming employed as a poultry inspector/grader with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1962.
In 1980, Margaret and Herbert moved to Windom.
Following Herb’s death in 1984, Margaret continued living in Windom and working for the USDA until her retirement in 1991.
Margaret was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Windom, where she served two terms as deacon, and volunteered as an usher. She also helped serve Meals on Wheels.
Margaret enjoyed singing, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband Herbert, Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Lyle Bergen-dahl; two grandsons, Andrew and Roger; two brothers, Thomas “Tom” and Albert Haywood; and a sister, Anna Koppen.
Survivors include her three children: Connie (Glen) Ward of Windom; Janet Hartberg of Carol Springs, Fla.; and David (Sherri) Bergendahl of Yankton, S.D.; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sadie Larson of Las Vegas, Nev.

Mary Evenson
Mary Evenson, 50, of Windom, formerly of Willmar, died July 24, 2004, at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D., after a battle with cancer.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar with Rev. Timothy J. Lar-son officiating.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and continue Friday for one hour prior to services at the church.
Mary Andrine Solvia Jacobson was born April 27, 1954, to Arvid and Solvia (Olson) Jacobson in Glenwood. She grew up in the Willmar community, was baptized at West Lake Johanna Lutheran Church near Brooten, confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School.
In 1978, she married Harold Evenson in Sisseton, S.D. The couple made their home in Willmar, where Mary worked at Jennie-O as a supervisor for 14 years.
In 1989, Harold and Mary moved to Windom, where she worked as a die caster at The Toro Company.
A former member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar, Mary was a member of American Lutheran Church in Windom.
She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, shopping and reading, especially Stephen King novels.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arvid Jacobson.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Evenson of Windom; two sons, Ryan (fiancee Tina) Evenson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Derrick (Stacia) Evenson of East Wenat-chee, Wash.; a daughter, Kelli (Jason) Black of St. Peter; a stepson, Harold Jr. (Sheri) Evenson of Rob-binsdale; six grandchildren; her mother, Solvia Jacobson of Minneapolis; two brothers, Ty-rone Jacobson of Willmar and Gordy (Karol) Jacobson of Ohio; and a sister, Barb (Dana) Burnette of Minnetonka.

Milford Anderson
Milford Anderson, 87, of Westbrook died Nov. 8, 2004, at Westbrook Good Samaritan Center in Westbrook.
Services were held Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook.
Interment was at Westbrook Cemetery in Westbrook.
Westbrook Funeral Home of Westbrook was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Milford Eugene Anderson was born July 13, 1917, to Oscar and Edith (Seger) Anderson in Westbrook. He was baptized and later confirmed in Dundee. He attended school in Wausa, Neb., before returning to Minnesota with his parents.
Milford did farm work before moving to California where he attended aircraft school and later worked in an airplane plant in Alhambra, Calif.
In 1941, Milford was inducted into the U.S. Army in Los Angeles, Calif., and served nearly five years during World War II at various camps in California and overseas. He landed on Utah Beach and served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. Attaining the rank of staff sergeant, Milford was honorably discharged in 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
In 1943, Milford married Geral-dine “Gerry” Hass of Westbrook. The family lived in Storden for three years, then farmed near Westbrook for 27 years. Milford retired and moved to Westbrook in 1977.
He enjoyed fishing, reading and traveling. Gerry and Milford traveled to the southern and eastern states and Canada, had a travel trailer on Rush Lake for several years and went salmon fishing several times.
He also enjoyed spending time with his son, Curtis, and his family, including his three grandchildren.
Milford was a member of the Westbrook VFW and American Legion. He also served on the Rosehill Township board for many years and was Rosehill Township assessor for several years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent and Oliver; and a sister-in-law, Arlene.
Survivors include his wife, Gerry of Westbrook; his son, Curtis (Jeanette) Anderson of Woodbury; three grandchildren; a brother, Vernon (Donna) Anderson of LeSueur; and a sister, Leone Arfsten of Annandale.

Curtis Langley
Curtis “Curt” Langley, 78, of Windom died Nov. 12, 2004, at Sunset Cottage in Worthington.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Windom with Rev. Michael Hibbs and Rev. Charles Reid officiating.
Special music will be provided by Joanne Nel-son, organist; and Keith Lohse, vocalist.
Casketbearers will be Garland Albers, Bill Mielke, Mike Jepsen, Glen Ward, Rod Gove and Wade Langley.
Honorary bearers will be county employees and friends he made during his time as Cottonwood County auditor, Windom Class of 1944, Windom AA group, staff of Sunset Cottage Hospice, neighbors and friends, and Curt’s Holy Fivesome of Ellen, Doris, Lou, Jean and Maxine.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 4 to 7 p.m., at LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom, and continue Thursday for one hour prior to services at the church in Windom.

Curtis W. Langley was born Sept. 27, 1926, to Max and Emma (Frederiksen) Langley and lived his entire life in Windom.
He was baptized and confirmed at First Presbyterian Church in Windom. Curt graduated from Windom High School in 1944 and attended Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis, graduating in 1947.
In 1959, Curt married Ellen Muir at at First Presbyterian Church in Windom. Curt served Cottonwood County for 38 years, first as deputy county auditor for 13 years and then as county auditor for 25 years before retiring in 1985.
Curt was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Windom, where he served as an elder, deacon and trustee and sang in the church choir.
He also was a member of Prudence Masonic Lodge 97 AF and AM, serving as Master in 1966 and 1968. Curt also was a 20-year member of the Windom AA group.
In his younger years, he bowled with the Kounty Keglers.
He was preceded in death by an older sister, Jurene Lee.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Ellen Langley of Windom; a son, Rev. Jim (Kim) Langley of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn (Harry) Klaassen of Stillwater; and a brother, Russell (Joyce) Langley of Miami, Fla.

Russell Duncan
Russell Duncan, 74, of Citrus Heights, Calif., formerly of Jeffers, died Nov. 10, 2004, in Citrus Heights.
Services were held Tuesday at Advent Lutheran Church in Citrus Heights.
Russell Wayne Duncan was born Nov. 24, 1929, to Alvah and Ruby Duncan in Windom. He graduated from Jeffers High School.
He was employed in the can manufacturing business for 33 years while living in California.
He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Citrus Heights and the Rancho Cordova Elks.
Russell enjoyed golf, traveling in his RV, music and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Duncan; and four brothers: Billy, Boyd, Byron and Darrel.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Joyce Duncan of Citrus Heights; two children: Sandra (Ken) of Winnsboro, Texas; and Keith Duncan of Citrus Heights; two
grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Dale Duncan of Omaha, Neb.,; and Allen (Maxine) Duncan of Windom.

Shirley Johnson
Shirley Johnson, 64, of Litchfield, formerly of Windom, died Nov. 16, 2004, at her home in Litchfield.
Visitation was held Friday at Johnson-Hagg-lund Funeral Home in Litchfield and Saturday at LaCanne Family Funeral Service in Windom.
Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Shirley A. Clark was born Nov. 6, 1940, to Leon and Grace (Paul-son) Clark in Amo Township of Cottonwood County. She attended Lamberton High School, graduating in 1958.
Shirley lived in the Windom, Virginia and Minneapolis areas and has lived in Litchfield since 1980.
She worked as a nursing assistant at Gloria Dei and Bethany homes and was employed at Modern Quilters for 27 years.
Shirley enjoyed crocheting, painting, art, children and animals.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Mathews; children: Brian (Teresa) Johnson of Telford, Tenn.; Rebecca Johnson of Litchfield; Rowena (fiancee Branden Sandford) Mathews; John Math-ews; Ricky Clay; Chawntil Clay; and Veda (Derrick) Clay; her mother, Grace Clark of Windom; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and her brothers and sisters: Janice (James) Johnson of Mineral Point, Wis.; David (Susan) Clark of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; Nancy (Tom) Aschen-macher of Hudson, Wis.; Michael (Niki) Clark of Hopkins; and Mary (Ken) Strausser of Cross Lake.

Josh Weidert
Josh Weidert, 23, of Ogilvie, the grandson of William and Shirley Axford of Windom, died Nov. 18, 2004, in Oak Grove, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Cambridge with Rev. Bill Berg and Rev. Randy Petersen officiating.
A service also will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., at the Presbyterian church in Hayfield.
Strike Funeral Home of Cambridge is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Joshua Lyndon Weidert was born April 14, 1981, to Steve and Rebecca Weidert in Worthington. His family lived in Windom and Rochester before moving to Hayfield. Josh graduated from Hayfield High School in 2000.
In 2002, Josh married Jessica Bergman. The couple made their home in Ogilvie.
Josh was employed with North Country Fabrication in Cambridge and also was a student studying architectural technology at Anoka-Hennepin Technical College.
Josh enjoyed paintball and four-wheeling.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica of Ogilvie; his parents: Steve and Rebecca Weidert of Hayfield; a brother, Travis (Raynae) Weidert of Hayward; a sister, Desiree Weidert (and Jeremy Pasquale) of Blooming Prairie; his grandparents: William and Shirley Axford of Windom; and Marjorie Weidert, and Shirley and Bob Monroe, all of Sioux City, Iowa; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rick and Mary Bergman of Cambridge; two sisters-in-law, Jena Hjeltman of Cambridge and Jennifer Bergman of Isanti; two brothers-in-law, Joe Bergman of Cambridge and Billy (Sandy) Gaslin of Princeton.

Anders Quevli
Anders “Andy” Quevli, 89, of Windom died Dec. 26, 2004, at Lakes Regional Hospital in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., at American Lutheran Church in Windom with Father Tom Fiske and Rev. Stephen Norby officiating.
Special music will be provided by Karen Wojahn, organist.
Casketbearers will be Jay Melius, Julia Dvorak, Bryan Quevli, Terry Nerhus, Jim Smith and Warren Jeffers.
Interment with military honors provided by American Legion Post 206 of Windom will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 4 to 7 p.m. at LaCanne Family Funeral Service in Windom and Thursday for one hour prior to services at the church in Windom.
Anders “Andy” Carl Quevli was born Oct. 7, 1915, to Andrew and Julia (Erickson) Quevli in Windom. He received his education in Windom Public Schools, graduating in 1933. He attended Minneapolis Business College before becoming a businessman in Minneapolis.
In 1942, Andy entered the United States Coast Guard, where he outfitted naval ships at Ellis Island. He was honorably discharged in 1945 and returned to Windom.
In 1941, Andy married Maryann Fiddes in Minneapolis. The couple was blessed with three children before Maryann died in 1969.
For many years Andy was owner/operator of Quevli’s Clothing Store in Windom, which was established by his grandfather in 1877. Andy sold the store in 1984.
In retirement, Andy continued to live at his home along River Road in Windom before moving to Remick Ridge. Most recently, he had been a resident at Sogge Good Samaritan Center in Windom.
Andy was a longtime member of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Windom. He enjoyed playing cards in earlier years.
In addition to his wife Maryann, Andy was preceded in death by an infant sister, Clarice; and two brothers, Vladimar and Truman Quevli.
Survivors include his three children: Susan (Bill) Melius of Spearfish, S.D.; Randy Quevli of Chanhassen; and Michael Quevli and John Santacrose of Los Angeles, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
