Maude K. Bradshaw
March 28, 1906 - July 18, 2000
WOODBURY - Maude K. Bradshaw, 94, of Woodbury, formerly of Olivia, died Tuesday at Woodbury Healthcare Center.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia with the Rev. Paul van de Crommert officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Birch Coulee Township.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia.
She was born March 28, 1906, in Olivia to Thomas and Mary (Lorden) Tisdell. She was a 1925 graduate of Olivia High School and attended Business College in Minneapolis. She lived in San Francisco where she was employed as an x-ray technician.
On Jan. 21, 1942, she married Arnold Bradshaw in Colombia, where they lived. In 1953, they moved to Las Vegas where she was employed as a hospital clerk. She moved to Rochester in 1984, and the past few years has lived at Woodbury Healthcare Center in Woodbury.
She is survived by her sister Eileen Bigham of St. Joseph, Mo., and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and five sisters.

Deloris H. Andreen
Jan. 8, 1922 - July 18, 2000
LITCHFIELD - Deloris Henrietta Andreen, 78, of Litchfield died Tuesday at Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Emmanus Place Chapel in Litchfield with the Rev. Curtiss Seefeldt officiating. Burial will be in Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, and one hour prior to services at the chapel.
She was born Jan. 8, 1922, in Litchfield to Harry Sr. and Elsie (Kossow) Peterson. She was a 1940 graduate of Litchfield High School.
On Jan. 1, 1942, she married Ludvig Andreen in Litchfield, where they lived. They moved in 1950 to Grove City where they owned and operated Andy's Service Station. In 1957 they returned to Litchfield. Ludvig Sr. died June 30, 1977. She was employed by Fingerhut of Litchfield and as a general laborer by Jennie-O.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary in Litchfield.
She is survived by her sons Al (and Kathy) Andreen of Litchfield, Rick Andreen of Zimmerman, Randy (and Rachelle) Andreen of Sartell; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Ludvig Jr. and Larry, one sister and two brothers.

Rose W.E. Rohloff
Feb. 7, 1907 - July 18, 2000
APPLETON - Rose Wilhelmine Ernestine Rohloff, 93, of Appleton died Tuesday at Villa of St. Francis in Morris.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton with the Rev. George Sagissor officiating. Burial will be in Appleton City Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Vaala Funeral Home in Appleton.
She was born Feb. 7, 1907, in Tara Township, Swift County, to August Sr. and Martha (Sachs) Hamann. She attended District 50 Tara Township rural school.
On Jan. 11, 1924, she married Fred A. Rohloff in Fairfield Township. They farmed in Fairfield and Moyer townships, retiring in 1969. They moved into Appleton. Fred died March 5, 1980. In 1991, she moved to West Central Homes in Morris, and in 1994 moved to Villa of St. Francis.
She is survived by her son Wayne (and Ardelle) Rohloff of Morris; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister Martha Hamann of Appleton; brother Wilbur (and Lois) Hamann of Benson and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son Virgil, daughter-in-law Vera Rohloff, two sisters and six brothers.

Verner E. Sonquist
Feb. 4, 1911- July 15, 2000
WILLMAR - Verner Dwight Eugene Sonquist, 89, of Robbinsdale, formerly of Willmar, died Saturday in Robbinsdale.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar with the Rev. Roger Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Cloverleaf Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
He was born Feb. 4, 1911, in Dayton, Iowa, to Charles and Ida (Peterson) Sonquist. He attended school in Dayton and worked on the family farm.
He married Lillian Peterson on June 8, 1935, in Vale, Iowa. They farmed the family farm until moving to Willmar in 1946. They bought a farm in Kandiyohi Township in 1949, and he farmed and worked for Burlington Northern for 27 years, retiring from both in the early 1970s. They moved into Willmar in 1977 and spent winters in McAllen, Texas, for 12 years. Lillian died Dec. 16, 1989. He moved to Robbinsdale on Jan. 1, 1999.
He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where he was a volunteer driver, senior citizens and a past member of Kiwanis.
He is survived by his daughter Susan Lorenz of Inver Grove Heights; his sons Robert (and Pegi) Sonquist of Tamarack, Fla., Dennis (and Marge) Sonquist of Essex, Ill., A. James (and Kristin) Sonquist of Crystal; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, daughter Carolyn Baker, one grandson, two brothers and four sisters.

Benhart W. Meyers
Feb. 23, 1934 - July 18, 2000
BUFFALO LAKE - Benhart William Meyers, 66, of Bird Island, formerly of Buffalo Lake, died Tuesday at the Renville County Hospital in Olivia.
His funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector. Burial will be in the Faith City Cemetery in Faith, S.D.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1934, in Faith, S.D., to Robert and Tillie (Lossman) Meyers. Following his mother's death when he was 5, he moved to Arlington to live with his sister. He attended school in Arlington.
He married Lorretta Schaff in 1955 in South Dakota. He lived in Yakima, Wash., South Dakota and later moved to Buffalo Lake. He worked in road construction for many years before working for Dakota Poultry.
He is survived by his sons Alan Meyers of Oregon and Myron Meyers of Washington; brother Donald (and Frances) Meyers of Nisland, S.D.; sisters Helen Weckwerth of Arlington, Vivian (and Lawrence) Duenow of Arlington and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and five brothers, three in infancy.

Clarence 'Kelly' Moseng
April 8, 1915 - July 19, 2000
MONTEVIDEO - Clarence Palmer "Kelly" Moseng, 85, of Montevideo died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Baxter, rural Dawson, with the Rev. Steve Rheingans official. Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
He was born April 8, 1915, in Lac qui Parle County to Ole and Julisa Moseng. He attended rural schools in Lac qui Parle County. He farmed in Lac qui Parle County for many years, drove truck for AGP in Dawson for several years and worked for Green Thumb in Boyd.
He married Frances Garrow on May 22, 1976, in Dawson. They lived in Boyd and Miltona before moving to Montevideo.
He was a lifetime member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Baxter in rural Dawson.
He is survived by his stepson Lawrence "Butch" (and Marcy) Garman of Montevideo; three stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 1998, four brothers and four sisters.

Gerda Hagen
ALEXANDRIA- Gerda Hagen, 86, of Alexandria, formerly of Montevideo, died Wednesday.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Garfield. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Alexandria.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (and Delroy) Johnson of Sacred Heart.

JoAnn A. Zitzloff
Feb. 27, 1935 - July 19, 2000
DELANO- JoAnn A. Zitzloff, 65, of Delano died Wednesday.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Delano.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. today, and 8 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, at Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
She is survived by her husband Arthur, three sons, two daughters including Pam (and Brian) Diem of Willmar, and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ernest B. Jorgenson
June 6, 1912 - July 19, 2000
BELGRADE- Ernest B. Jorgenson, 88, of Belgrade died Wednesday at Paynesville Area Hospital.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church in Ledyard, Iowa, with the Rev. Vic Vriesen officiating. Burial will be in Highland Home Cemetery in Ledyard. Memorials are preferred to Gausdel Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, with a 5 p.m. prayer service with the Rev. Victor Young officiating, at Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade, and one hour prior to services at the church.
He was born June 6, 1912, in Ledyard, Iowa, to Peter C. and Georgia (Martin) Jorgenson. He attended school in Ledyard.
On Jan. 19, 1930, he married Emily Barnes in Ledyard. They farmed near Elmore, and in 1953 moved to Belgrade where they also farmed. Emily died in 1976.
He was a member of Crow River Riders Saddle Club, "Toot 'n' Tappers" in Belgrade and Belgrade Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his sons Jimmy (and Dorathy) of Afton, Jerald (and Elgene) of Coon Rapids, D. John of Kalispell, Mont., Richard (and Charlotte) of Venice, Fla., Loren of Belgrade; daughters Dolly Burgess of Armstrong, Iowa, Catherine (and Neahl) Johnson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Linda (and Dave) Schmid of Lancaster, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Dennis, five grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, two sisters and five brothers.

Winton E. Ovre
March 7, 1933 - July 19, 2000
GRANITE FALLS- Winton Ellsworth Ovre, 67, of Granite Falls died Wednesday at Granite Falls Municipal Hospital.
His memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Appleton with the Rev. Janice FitzGibbon officiating.
Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
He was born March 7, 1933, in Big Bend Township, Chippewa County, to Ben and Ida (Allickson) Ovre. He was a 1951 graduate of Montevideo High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-57.
On Aug. 6, 1954, he married Elvera Liebe in Appleton. He was employed as a carpenter, cabinet-maker and woodworker until semi-retirement. He then went into metal machining.
He is survived by his wife; children Warren (and Ava) Ovre of Montevideo, Eloise (and Daniel) Loose of Lamberton, Wesley (and Rosemin) Ovre of Morton, Curtis (and Mari) Ovre of Redwood Falls; 11 grandchildren; sisters Doris Angrimson of Montevideo, Betty Nagel of Montevideo; brother Gifford (and Signe) Ovre of St. Paul and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three infant brothers and sisters.

Clarissa Johnson
; Aug. 22, 1915 - July 19, 2000
MINNEAPOLIS- Clarissa Johnson, 84, of Minneapolis, formerly of Montevideo, died Wednesday at Stevens Square Nursing Home in Minneapolis.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wing-Bain Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, and continue one hour prior to services, at the funeral home chapel.
She was born Aug. 22, 1915, near Blue Earth to Charles and Mary Plantz. She was a graduate of Montevideo High School.
In 1937 she married Clyde Bjorndahl. Clyde died in the service in 1944. In 1948 she married Adolph Johnson.
She was active with her church as Sunday School teacher and member of Women's Missionary Society.
She is survived by her son Vern Bjorndahl of Minneapolis and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, five sisters and seven brothers.

Elsie M. Heling
May 17, 1921 - July 19, 2000
WILLMAR- Elsie M. Heling, 79, of Willmar died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Steinbeisser officiating, and with a Daughters of Isabella Honor Guard at 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. Daughters of Isabella and Knights of Columbus Rosary and 7:30 p.m. parish prayer service, and 9 to 9:40 a.m. Saturday, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.
She was born May 17, 1921, in St. John's Township, Kandiyohi County, to Charles and Ann (Nelson) Christenson. She attended District 15 South for her education.
On July 22, 1940, she married John Heling in Willmar. They lived in Pennock, moving to Willmar in 1943.
She was a Rice Hospital Auxiliary volunteer and member of Burlington Northern Veterans Association. She was active at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by her husband; children Robert (and Mona) Heling of Hibbing, Marilyn (and David) Spray of Fremont, Neb., Dianne (and Raymond) Sindelir of Midlothian, Va.; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

MaryLou Simning
Oct. 24, 1957 - July 18, 2000
REDWOOD FALLS- MaryLou Simning, 42, of Redwood Falls, died Tuesday at her home in Redwood Falls.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Burial will be in Morton City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today, and one hour prior to services, at the funeral home.
She is survived by her parents, one son, five sisters including Lisa (and Clair) Butcher of Willmar, and other relatives.

Richard L. Jurgens
Feb. 17, 1964 - July 20, 2000
WILLMAR - Richard Lee Jurgens, 36, of Willmar, died Thursday.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Willmar with the Rev. Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Burial will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., with 7 p.m. parish prayers, Sunday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church.
He was born Feb. 17, 1964, in Pierre, S.D., to Alice (Berkeland) and Sam Jurgens. He was a graduate of Albany High School. He lived in St. Cloud where he was employed by Bernick's Pepsi Cola four years. He attended St. Cloud Technical College. He moved to Willmar in 1991 where he was a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his special friend Kathleen Hilborn of Willmar; parents Alice (and Bob) Arnold of Rice, and Sam (and Renee) Jurgens of Sartell; sons Jason Jurgens of Svea, Elijah Jurgens of Willmar, Travis Jurgens of Willmar and Skyler Hilborn of Willmar; brother Jeremy (and Rebecca) Redmond of St. Cloud; sisters Patricia (and James) Jurgens-Gaetz of Royalton, Debra Jurgens of St. Cloud, Roberta Arnold of St. Cloud; stepsisters Sheila (and Mark) Schuler of St. Cloud, Lisa (and Kim) Palm of Sartell, Kimberly Sunder of Minneapolis, Tara Sunder of Minneapolis; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
