Surviving are her husband, Bill; a daughter, Kristi L. Tepe of Oakland City; a son, Billy K. of Petersburg; two sisters, Kim Adkins of Bicknell and Denise Boger of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, Larry Boger of Newport, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery.

Regina Miller
PETERSBURG — Regina L. Miller, 96, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Petersburg Health Care.
She taught in Pike County schools.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames and Delta Kappa Gamma.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Sanders of Petersburg; and a nephew who cared for her, David Miller of Petersburg.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery.

James McMillen
PETERSBURG — James R. McMillen, 81, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at Petersburg Health Care.
He owned McMillen’s Standard Service.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Odd Fellows Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Madge (Hornbrook); two daughters, Sharon Kleysteuber of Evansville and Mary Boles of Seymour; two sons, James L. of Petersburg and Robert of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mary Lou Moore of Indianapolis and Agnes Winters of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two brothers, Dr. Pat A. of Vincennes and George of North Manchester; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church, with burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. to service time at the church.

Rollo Hilsmeyer
STENDAL — Rollo Henry Hilsmeyer, 85, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at Deaconess St. Joseph’ Hospital in Huntingburg.
He had been a farmer.
He was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church.
Surviving are is wife of 62 years, Ruby; a daughter, Shirley Barrett of Holland; three sons, Larry of Huntingburg and Lonnie and Tim, both of Stendal; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Zoar United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Ronald Dimmett
LYNNVILLE — Ronald L. Dimmett, 58, died Wednesday, May 17 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville of leukemia.
He retired in February after 35 years with the Algers, Winslow & Western Railroad and was a member of the railroad union.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Carol (Faass); a daughter, Kristal Seim of Germany; two stepdaughters, Kathy Kaeck of Otwell and Karen Crooks of Evansville; three sons, Johny Ray at home, Vincent of Evansville and Bryan Keith of Evansville; two stepsons, Kevin Valentine of Lynnville and Keith Valentine of Evansville; his parents, Ray and Lena Dimmett of Lynnville; two sisters, Sharon Hemmings of Spurgeon and Karen Strait of Lynnville; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pemberton Bradley Funeral Home, with burial in Lynnville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Evelyn Gibson
MOUNT VERNON — Evelyn W. Gibson, 78, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Helen Welsh of Tenino, Wash., and Marjorie Dean Severs and Marilyn D. Christopher, both of Mount Vernon; three sons, William L., Donald F. and Robert Anthony, all of Mount Vernon; a sister, Dean Crowe of Evansville; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Johnie F., died in 1975.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, Ky., with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery near Tilden, Ky.

Margaret Miller
CALHOUN — Margaret L. Miller, 77, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System of congestive heart failure.
She was a nurse, retiring after working as hospital administrator at the former McLean County General Hospital and as a night supervisor at the former Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Owensboro.
She was a nurse cadet in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Stiles A. “Rip”; two daughters, Martha Miller-Webb of Bowling Green and Donna Cox of Bremen; a son, Stiles A. Jr. of Owensboro; a brother, Albert Werne of Owensboro; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 pm. Saturday at Muster Funeral Home Calhoun Chapel, with burial in Calhoun Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Frances Haire
HENDERSON — Frances Lee “Aunt Tom” Haire, 83, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Mount Zion General Baptist Church and the Ladies Missionary Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Cora Foster of Owensboro and Wanda Mattingly and Janice Beals, both of Henderson; seven sons, Earl of Owensboro, Don, Bobby, Mike, Steve and Tony, all of Reed, and Hugh of Henderson; two sisters, Mary Louise Lacer and Sue Bugg, both of Spottsville; two brothers, Wallace Driskell of Evansville and Pete Driskell of Reed; 32 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, David “Uncle Dave,” died in 1995, a daughter, Rebecca Beals, died in 1990, and two sons, Merle, died in 1935 and Wayne David, died in 1967.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery in Reed.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Raymond Miller
SEBREE — Raymond T. “Ray” Miller, 69, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He retired after more than 40 years as a truck driver with the Rider Co.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy (Durbin); two sons, Larry of Henderson and Greg of Sebree; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A daughter preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tompkins Funeral Home, with burial in Springdale Cemetery.

Maxine Edwards
DAWSON SPRINGS — Maxine Odell Hopkins Edwards, 62, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs.
She taught home economics and music.
She was a graduate of Murray State University and Eastern Kentucky University.
Surviving are her husband, Ernest O.; two sons, Ernest A. and Thomas A., both of Lexington; three brothers, Arnold Hopkins of Louisville, Silvan Hopkins of Boone County, and Thurmond Hopkins of San Angelo, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Beshear Funeral Home, with burial in Dunn Cemetery in Hopkins County.

Lorraine McCord
LAWRENCEVILLE — Lorraine L. McCord, 61, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind., of cancer.
She worked at Central Industries in Lawrenceville and was a member of St. James AME Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Starla Lawson of Bridgeport, Carleen McCord of Lawrenceville and Norma McCord of Indianapolis; her mother, Opal Morris Curry of Lawrenceville; a sister, Dora Williams of Robinson; two brothers, Carl and Larry, both of rural Bridgeport; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James AME Church, with burial in Cole Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Relay for Life.

Virgil Elkins
BRIDGEPORT — Virgil J. Elkins, 84, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at his home.
He retired from the Monsanto Co.
Surviving are his wife, Doris (Hughes); a stepdaughter, Judy Badgley of Robinson; five granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and nephews.
A stepson, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cunningham Funeral Home, with burial in Bridgeport City Cemetery.

Loretta Van Doel
PALESTINE — Loretta M. Van Doel, 63, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She was active in the Indiana Order of Foresters.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; a daughter, Vickie Mitchell of Marshall; a son, Richard of Avon, Ind.; her brother, Don Shanks of Dekalb; and six grandchildren, Robert and Richard Mitchell, Debbie Muskin, Terri, Sarah and Richard Van Doel.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Goodwine Funeral Home with burial in Hutsonville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

A. Hanby Jones II
ROBINSON — A. Hanby Jones II, 88, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Crawford Memorial Hospital Long Term Care.
He retired after 36 years as a state judge in 1986. He was an alderman from 1937 to 1942, city attorney from 1940 to 1942, county judge from 1960 to 1966, a circuit judge from 1966 to 1972, and a judge for the 2nd Judiciary from 1978 to 1986
He served in the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1942 to 1946 and received a war service certificate.
He was a 1929 graduate of Robinson High School, attended the University of Illinois from 1929 to 1933, then attended the University of Illinois Law School for two years until her was forced to drop out for family reasons, continued his law studies under the tutelage of Judge Caswell J. Crebs. He passed the board of law examinations, completed the Illinois law review and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1940.
His many memberships include, former exalted ruler of the Elks, past president of Robinson Rotary, a member of the United Methodist Church, Sons of the American Revolution, Moose for more than 50 years, Masonic Lodge, Danville Consistory, Ainad Shrine of East St. Louis and Crawford County Shrine Club.
He was honored in 1965 by the Illinois Youth Commission for outstanding work and programs for young people.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Anderson of Glenville, N.C., and Jenny Ellen Van Treese of Milford, N.H.; and four grandchildren, Scott and Timothy Anderson, Amanda Masse and Katherine Van Treese O’Hara.
His wife, Margaret (Liggett), died in 1989.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Robinson New Cemetery.
Friends may call fro 5 to 8 p.m. today at Goodwine Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford County Courthouse Committee.

Inez Jacobs
SHAWNEETOWN — Inez L. Jacobs, 79, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
She had worked at the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind as a teacher.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Norman; and a daughter, Norma Jean Jacobs of Shawneetown.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Friends may call fro 4 to 8 p.m. today at Vickery Funeral Home.

James Churchwell
CARMI — James F. Churchwell, 64, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at the Marion Veterans Medical Center of pulmonary disease.
He worked as a painter.
He was an Army paratrooper for three years.
Surviving are four daughters, Elizabeth Lance of Paducah, Ky. Diane Churchwell of Clovis, N.M., Jamie Palmer of Norman, Okla., and Barbara Reeves of Odessa, Texas; four sisters, Mabel Townsend, Wilda Stokes, Dorothy Buckner and Elizabeth Erwin, all of Carmi; a brother, Robert Lee of Carmi; and eight grandchildren.
There will be no services or visitation at Campbell Funeral Home.

Ruth Moore
BRIDGEPORT — Ruth Ann Moore, 47, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Ind., of leukemia.
She had worked for the First National Bank, gave private piano lessons, and played for the Cunningham Funeral Home and the church.
She was a member of the Beulah United Methodist Church and church women’s group, Delta Theta Tau and The Beulah Bunch.
Surviving are her husband, John; a daughter, Jill at home; a son, Chris of rural Bridgeport; her mother Emily Cummins of Sumner; a brother, Bruce Cummins of rural Sumner; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Beulah United Methodist Church in Sumner, with burial in Bridgeport City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today at Cunningham Funeral Home.

Dorothy Dooley
ELDORADO — Dorothy M. Dooley, 83, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Eldorado Care Center.
Surviving are a daughter, Georgia King of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, John Loren Coazart of Gaylord, Mich.; a stepson, Donald Coazart of New York; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery in Equality. There will be no visitation at Watson Funeral Home.

Joyce Likens
Bonita Joyce Likens, 66, of Evansville, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at her home of heart failure.
She retired from National City Bank in 1992, after 23 years.
She was a Bosse High School graduate.
Surviving are her husband of 21 years, Bill; a son, Danny of Evansville; her mother, Eulean Siess of Oklahoma City; a brother, Tom Siess of Grand Junction, Colo.; and a granddaughter, Penny.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, the Rev. Terry Gamblin officiating, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel.

Miriam Nenneker
Miriam Rachel Nenneker, 92, of Evansville, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at her home.
She was a graduate of Welborn School of Nursing.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Evansville, past member of the Optimist & Opti-Mrs., Daughters of the American Revolution, Central Turners Club, numerous duplicate bridge clubs and Delphi 20.
Surviving are two daughters, Suzanne Happe and Sarah Flener, both of Evansville; four grandchildren, Melanie Wessel, Melissa Happe, Marcia Minor and Jeffrey Flener; five great-grandchildren; and a friend who cared for her for 13 years in her home, Mamie B. Harte.
Her husband, Harold, died in 1989.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel and from 9 a.m. to service time at the memorial chapel.

Russell Scott Jr.
Russell E. Scott Jr., 74, formerly of Newburgh, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, of pneumonia at the Red Banks Nursing Home in Henderson, Ky.
He was the owner and operator of Scott Boiler and Burner Service.
He was a World War II Marine veteran, serving in the Pacific.
He was a member of the Vann Avenue Baptist Church and enjoyed duck hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law who cared for him, Gail and Danny Hagan of Corydon, Ky.; two sons, Stuart R. of Evansville and Mark A. of Clovis, N.M.; two sisters, Dorothy Henrich and Betty Schmidt, both of Newburgh; a brother, Jack of Newburgh; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Anna M., died in 1994.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Mark A. Scott officiating, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Verna Goodner
Verna Lea Goodner, 93, formerly of Evansville, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in Palm Garden Nursing Home in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth B. of Rockport, Texas, and James S. of West Palm Beach; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Douglas Goodner; and two great-granddaughters.
Ninde Woodland Memorial Chapel in Tulsa, Okla., is handling arrangements.

Mary David
Mary K. David, 88, formerly of Evansville, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Friends Fellowship Community Center in Richmond, Ind.
She taught for 20 years at Howard Roosa Elementary School, retiring in 1972 and had taught at Defiance College and at Shurtleff College, where she served as dean of women.
She was a graduate of Earlham College, received her master’s degree from Bryn Mawr in 1932 and spent three summers doing graduate work at the University of Wisconsin.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Richmond and the First Presbyterian Church in Evansville, Evansville and Indiana teachers sssociations, Delta Kappa Gamma Society and was a former member of Tri Kappa and Alpha Psi Omega sororities.
After retiring she worked as a volunteer in the Welborn Hospital Auxiliary in Evansville and had been a Red Cross volunteer at Reid Hospital.
Surviving are a son, John of Columbia, Mo.; a sister, Ruth Chambers of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, J. Richard Kemper of Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Wade D., preceded her in death.
Memorial services are pending at the Ruth Lindeman Chapel in Richmond, with burial in Lutherania Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wade D. and Mary K. David Scholarship Fund of the University of Evansville or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Aline Rosenberry
Aline D. Rosenberry, 79, of Newburgh, formerly of Boonville, Ind., died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center.
She had worked at the Goebel Furniture Co. and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandy Utley of Boonville and Becky Sheeley of Henderson, Ky.; two sisters, Bennie Darnell and Dolores Higgs, both of Evansville; a brother, Harry Mull of Evansville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, William H., died in 1990.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Dennis Davenport officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Sylvia Ward
WASHINGTON, Ind. — Sylvia Ward, 90, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at Washington Nursing Center. She was born in Russia.
She was a member of the Eastern Star in Chicago.
Her husband, George N., died in 1981.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bethany Cemetery.
