He was a 54 year member of Kolping Catholic Society. Born in Germany to the late Otto and Theresa (Aigner), Mr. Gindert lived in Ridgewood, Queens, NY before moving to West Milford, NJ 43 years ago. Goebel, John Paul Jr., 48, a production manager for United Rockland Stairs, Tallman, NY where he worked for 4 years, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at his home in West Milford, NJ. Mr. Goebel was a soccer coach for West Milford P.A.L. He lived in West Milford for 21 years and was previously from Mahwah & Ramsey. He is survived by his wife Lena (Nordstrom), his father, John Paul Goebel, Sr., a son Niklas L. Goebel, a daughter Andrea B. Goebel all of West Milford, a brother Nick Goebel of Myrtle Beach, SC and a sister Tara Murphy of Calabash, NC. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Kenny and a sister Suzette Caggiano. Goode, Henry A. Jr., age 91, a retired (1973) battalion chief for NYC Fire Dept, where he worked for 35 years, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in West Milford, NJ. Mr. Goode had been a member of the Park Ridge, NJ Elks, Vero Beach, FL Elks, Uniform Fireman's Association and was a Fordham University graduate. Mr. Goode lived in West Milford, NJ since 2006 and was previously from Vero Beach, FL and River Vale, NJ. He is survived by a son, James W. Goode of Hewitt, NJ; a stepson, Ralph DeGroat of NJ; 3 stepdaughters, Donna Wehrberger of River Vale, NJ, Debra Younghans of Florida, NY and Terri Apgar of Fairlawn, NJ; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wives Anya (Ahonen) (1967) and Theresa (Dalo) (2005). Mr. Goode was the son of Henry A., Sr. and Hannah (O'Connor) Goode. He served in the Army during World War II (1942-46) having attained the rank of Captain. Gormley, Ernest, age 93, a supervisor for Aircraft Radio Co., Boonton, NJ, where he worked for 35 years, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Bethany Village Assisted Living in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Mr. Gormley was a 50 year member of the Masonic Silentia Lodge # 168 F. & A.M., Butler, NJ. Mr. Gormley was a lifelong resident of Butler. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; a son, Raymond E. of Honesdale, PA; a daughter, Dorcas Watkins of Lincoln Park, NJ; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Wilhelmina Gormley. He was the son of Raymond and Alica (Miller) Gormley. Mr. Griesan was a resident of Ringwood for 46 years and previously from Valley Stream, NY. Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Frederick and Suzanne (Wagenfield) Griesan. Beloved husband of Elsie (Schnakenberg), loving father of two daughters, Linda Elaine Griesan of New York City and Jennifer Ann Griesan of Ringwood, cherished grandfather of Randolph Gerard. He was preceded in death by a son, Randolph Gerard Griesan, He served in the Air Force during World War II. Guarino, Mary (Villano) age 94 of Pompton Lakes, NJ died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Haskell, New Jersey. Mrs. Guarino lived in Pompton Lakes for 27 years and was previously from Paterson. Born in N. Arlington, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Carmella (Vecchia) Villano. Mrs Guarino was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's RC Church. Gushlaw, Roger J. Sr., age 64, a store manager for Shoprite of Wharton, Wharton, NJ, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock Township, NJ. Mr. Gushlaw lived in West Milford, NJ for 2 years and was previously from Jefferson. He is survived by his wife Frances Ruth (Smith), two sons, Roger Gushlaw, Jr. and Brian Gushlaw both of Jefferson; three daughters, Stacy Lambe of Stockholm, Lisa Kasica of Wallington, and Patricia Shea of Stockholm and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Gushlaw, and his mother, Lucille Soper. He was the son of Cecil and Lucille (Soper) Gushlaw, Sr. He served in the Navy during Vietnam Era (1959-63). Hakes, Kenneth Frank, age 73, of Stockholm, NJ died Friday January 26, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Hakes was employed by Fire Co. in West Milford before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion Frank Sell Post 289 and V.F.W. Post 7198 both of West Milford. He was an Army Veteran during Korean conflict attaining rank of SGT. Mr. Hakes resided in Stockholm for the past three years and previously lived in West Milford (1972-88) and Staten Island (1988-03). He is survived by his wife Nancy (Owens) Hakes; a son, Kevin Hakes of Dover, DE; and a daughter, Leanne Lawrence of Pompton Lakes; three stepsons, Jack Owens of West Milford, Robert Owens of Barry Lakes, and Scott Owens of New York State; a stepdaughter, Laurie Wallace of Ringwood; a sister, Mildred Kaiblinger of Westwood and ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy Hakes (1998) and brothers Robert and Harold Hakes and a sister Viola Aleffi. He was a self-employed contractor, a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt and North-South Skirmish Association (14th Virginia Calvary). Surviving are his wife Karen (Olin); a daughter, Lynn Harden of Florida, NY; a sister, Betty Jean McMurray and a grandson, Devin. A daughter, Tracy Harden predeceased him. Predeceased by her father, Harry Harlak, her mother, Fanny Markovich Harlak, three brothers, William, Daniel and Simon Harlak and five sisters, Vera Nelson, Mary Ladisheff, Antoinette Harlak, Elizabeth Tunkel and twin sister Stephanie Harlak. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (DeGroat) Henion, two brothers Joseph Henion of Matamorras, PA and James Henion, of Wanaque, NJ, two sisters Linda Nicholas of Haskell, NJ and Ruth Gourevellec of Arbondale, FL and uncle of Patty Manzak of Haskell, NJ. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirlee, (Milligan) (1996) and his father, Fabian Henion. He was the son of Fabian and Dorothy (DeGroat) Henion. A retired registered nurse, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Margaret (O’Leary). Ms Hennessey was a member of St Joseph's Hospital Alumni, Secular Franciscans, West Milford Golden Agers and an Eucharistic minister and former parishioner at Holy Spirit Church, Pequannock. Huber, Emilia (Korczynski), age 92, of Riverdale died Friday April 6, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Huber was the daughter of Mary and Anthony Korczynski, she lived there before moving to Riverdale 55 years ago. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Huber is survived by her son, Thomas Huber of Riverdale and a daughter, Marlene Weber of West Milford; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1995. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 9 at 8:30 PM at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Hurley, Donald B., 86, died on Friday, September 14, 2007. Originally a summer resident, Don retired to Pinecliff Lake Community Club, where he has been an active member for over 50 years. Born and raised on Staten Island, New York, he was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School in 1939, and Manhattan Colege in 1943 with a BS in Business Administration. Don served in the United States Army from 1943-1945 during WWII in the European Theatre as a Corporal with the 321 Fighter Control Squadron. After serving our country, Donald spent the next 40 years in Banking as an International Comptroller for Citibank. He was President of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Parish, Staten Island where he was one of the Founding Fathers of the Spartan Athletic League. Donald was also an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Hewitt NJ. Don was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary J. Cox, his brother, Rev. John A Hurley, and sister Constance Hurley. He is survived by his sister Mary J. Zarrilli; his five children: three sons, Donald B., John A. Thomas J., two daughters, Mary T. Gaffney and Patricia H. Kane, fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews. Funeral liturgy on Monday, September 17, 2007 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt at 11 AM. Ingram, Gordon Forsyth, 70, passed away Saturday April 21, 2007 after a battle with cancer. He resided in Norwood for thirty five years before retiring and moving to West Milford five years ago. He was a member of the Elks and Presbyterian Church, both in West Milford . He is survived by his wife Moira. They were married forty eight years. Also survived by two sons, David and daughter in-law Julia and son, Alistair; one daughter, Carole Leahy and a grandson, Brian. Ms Itterly lived in West Milford for 60 years. She is survived by a son, Mark Itterly of Interlachen, FL. and 4 grandchildren. Jegge, Frances (Mc Donough) , 79, a retired customer service rep for N.J.Bell Telephone, Pompton Lakes, where she worked for 30 years, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at Hospice of Wayne in Wayne, New Jersey. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Jegge lived in Riverdale since 2002 and was previously from Wayne. She is survived by her son, Donald; two daughters, Barbara and husband Rev. Allen Jager of Guilderland, NY and Debbie Main of Denville; four grandchildren, Matthew, Christina, Kerry and Jay. Mr. Junta was a member of Rock Tavern Rod & Gun Club, Rockland, NY. Born in Paterson, Mr. Junta lived in Butler since 1959 and was previously from Wyckoff. Beloved husband of Joan, devoted father of Catherine Junta & her husband, Ronald Gagnon of Richmond, VA. He was the son of the late William and Isabelle (Crowder) Junta. Kacprzycki, Tessie (Szumski), 95, of West Milford formerly of Lyndhurst on Friday, November 2, 2007. Mrs. Kacprzycki is survived by a daughter, Halina Szulecki of West Milford; a sister, Mary Gozdowski in Poland; six grandchildren, John, Jr. and Paul Szulecki, Janice Martellacci, Andrea Wehrenberg, Stephen and Brandon DeBellis and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, a daughter, Regina DeBellis and a granddaughter, Holly DeBel. Funeral Liturgy Monday 12:30PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Kellogg, Dr. Thomas F., DDS, age 84, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at East Cooper Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Dr. Kellogg, a native of Scarsdale, NY and graduated from Mt. Hermon Preparatory School, Mass. He attended Syracuse University and graduated the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1951. He was a WW II Army veteran with the 513th Parachutist Infantry, a charter member and past president of the Rotary Club of Pompton Lakes, a member of Pompton Reformed Church, Pompton Lakes and the VFW. Mr. Kellogg lived in Mt. Pleasant, SC for 7 years and was previously from Pompton Lakes, NJ. He is survived by his wife Lidia (Gregorian); a son, Gregory Kellogg of Glendale, CO; a daughter, Paulette Koeman of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a brother, Dr. Richard Kellogg of Milwaukee, WI and three grandchildren Elizabeth, Matthew and Caroline. He was the son of the late Thomas and Ruth (Dreher) Kellogg. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Pompton Reformed Church, Pompton Lakes. Interment Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery in Pompton Lakes.
