(Kitchell), age 87, a retired parts inspector for Magnetic Dielectrics, West Milford where she worked for 10 years, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock Township, NJ. She was one of the founders of West Milford Cub Scouts # 144. Mrs. Storms lived in West Milford, NJ for 56 years and was previously from Butler. She is survived by six sons, Earl D. Storms Jr. of Escondido, CA, Kenneth L. Storms of Indian Rock Beach, FL, Robert J. Storms of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Gerald A. Storms of Warwick, NY, Donald J. Storms of Oak Ridge, NJ, Ronald B. Storms of Hayesville, NC; a daughter, Arlene M. Storms of Murrieta, CA; two brothers, David and Edward Kitchell both of NJ; a sister, Ellen Planten of FL; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Earl (1984) and a sister Valerie Decker. She was the daughter of Warren and Lucy (Dandski) Kitchell. Visiting at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Friday (2/23) from 2-4 & 7-8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23, 2007 at 8:30 P.M. Rev. Stringfield, Marguerite (Gormley), age 91, died peacefully at home on January 15, 2007 surrounded by her family. She resided in Pompton Lakes for the past 65 years. She was the wife of H.C. Stringfield. Both were employed by American Hard Rubber Co., Butler, where they met and were married. Marguerite was an avid traveler, having driven to 49 states and all the Canadian provinces. Starting before World War II, she and H.C. took cross country roadtrips in their Model A Ford, and over the years the family grew to love traveling in their custom RV. She was also a dedicated gardener and enjoyed the home in Pompton Lakes where she and H.C. have resided since 1942. In addition to her husband, Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Mary of Glen Rock, Joan of Pompton Lakes and Susan of Highland Lakes. She is the grandmother of Andrew of Pompton Lakes and the sister of Gerald Gormley of North Port, FL. She was predeceased by sisters Helen Pasquerillo, Veronica Gormley, and brothers Arthur and Raymond. Funeral services will begin Friday January 19 at 11 A.M. at Richards Funeral Home 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Interment Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Strunz, Dorothy L. (Lissner),76, a retired secretary for Park Ridge Police Department, on Monday, December 17, 2007. Born in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Lissner, Mrs. Strunz lived in Hewitt for 21 years and was previously from Park Ridge. She was a member of Holy Faith Lutheran Church, Oak Ridge and various local bridge groups. Survived by her beloved husband, George, two sons Robert of WI and Ronald of West Milford, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Stugard, Genevieve (Sprunkel), 93, of Hewitt passed away Friday October 19, 2007. Mother of Walter and Robert Stugard. Grandmother of twelve, Great-Grandmother of three. Predeceased by her husband William, a daughter Marie Mosier, and a son William Stugard. Mrs. Stugard was a member of the West Milford Presbyterian Church and the Upper Greenwood Lake Fire Dept. Stursberg, Marjorie 82, wife of deceased Werner Stursberg, Pompton Lakes, NJ. Born in Great Falls, SC. Survived by daughter Anita of Pompton Lakes, NJ, son, Werner of Lincoln Park, NJ and his friend Robert Pearsall, one sister, Juanita of Richburg, SC, granddaughter Carly Weiss and her husband Matt of Kinnelon and 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Vera Haywood of Charlotte, NC and Helen Ricucci of Clifton, NJ. She was employed for 23 years by Meyer Brothers Dept. Store, Wayne. Sularz, Bronislaw K., 65, of West Milford formerly of Wallington on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Mr. Sularz was a professional soccer goalie playing with Gornik Walbrzych in Poland, NY Cosmos, Boston Minutemen, Club Vistula (Garfield, NJ), NJ Americans and FC Hoboken Travelers (old timers). Surviving are his wife, Sophie A. (Krystyniak), a son Ashley M. and his wife, Patricia of Clifton, a daughter, Cynthia S. Sularz of West Milford, two sisters, Mieczylawa Wozniak of Poland and Bozena Remiszewska of Wallington, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Michael K. Sularz (2003). Swan, Robert J. Sr., 74, a chief inspector for Arrow Group Industries, Haskell, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock. Mr. Swan lived in Pompton Lakes since 1956 and was previously from Oakland. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the son of Hugh and Laura (Bush) Swan. Beloved husband of Barbara (Redner), devoted father of two son, Steven R. of Lancaster, PA, and Robert J., Jr. of Durham, NC; a brother, Arnold of Birmingham, AL. Also, survived by six grandchildren, Christian, Matthew, Daniel, Ethan, Matt and Brittany. Szulecki, John S. Sr., 75 of West Milford on Friday, August 10, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock. A financial executive with General Magnaplate Corp of Linden, NJ, he has been a resident of West Milford for the past eleven years. He was a veteran serving with the Air Force, a member of the American Legion of West Milford, a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs and a member of Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Surviving are his wife, Halina (Kacprzycki) Szulecki; two sons, John S. Jr. of Northvale, NJ and Paul J. of Campbell Hall, NY; one daughter, Janice Martellacci of Hewitt; nine grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents, Max & Helen (Piotrowski) Szulecki and a daughter, Holly A. De Bel in 2006. Thielke, Emil H., 89, a retired machinist for John Royale & Son, Pompton Lakes where he worked for 37 years, died Monday, December 17, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospice. Born in Buffalo, NY the son of the late Emil and Mary (Shork) Thielke; Mr. Thielke was previously from Paterson. Loving husband of Margherita, devoted father of Wayne of West Chester, PA, and Mary Harding of Pompton Lakes, brother of Dorothy Martina of Cheektowaga, NY. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Patricia. He was predeceased by his brothers Kenneth and Robert, sisters Florence, Audrey, Marcella and Altha. Thompson, Lena J. (Jacobia) "Midge", age 79, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Wanaque. She was the daughter of Mable (Vreeland) and Henry Jacobia, she resided there before moving to Hewitt seven years ago. She was retired from the former N.J. Bell Telephone in Riverdale where she worked as a telephone operator. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Roland Thompson Jr. of Queensbury, NY; two daughters, Karen Saxon of Paterson and Cheryl Woch of Hewitt; one sister, Emma Jane Malmstone of Ringwood and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Thompson in 1990. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 AM at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Titus, Eugene F., age 78, a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, Kearny, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at his home in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. He was the son of Frank and Doris (Schulz) Titus. He was also a Pompton Lakes School Crossing Guard from 1999-2006. Mr. Titus was a Pompton Lakes resident for 42 years and was previously from Clifton. He is survived by his wife Mary (Qualantone); a son, Eugene Titus, Jr. of Riverdale; a daughter, Lynn M. Titus of Pompton Lakes; three granddaughters, Melissa, Kristen, Jessica Titus. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Samuel Titus, and his mother, Doris Emma Schulz. Visitation Friday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Toussas, Georgia, nee (Marountas) 67, died Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. Ms Toussas was a 40 year resident of Pompton Lakes previously from Paterson. She was a retired assembler from Data Scope Corp., Fairfield, where she worked for 20 years. The beloved daughter of the late George and Bessie (Valsamis) Marountas, loving mother of Helana Ekonomides and her husband Minas of Pompton Lakes, dear sister of Jennie Figliolino of Haskell, Ernestine and Norman James of Forked River, Frieda and Herman Harrison of Manahawkin. Townsend, Donald, age 84 died on Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Compassionate Care Center, Dover, NJ. Mr. Townsend was a resident of Bloomingdale for 61 years moving here from Midvale, NJ. He was formally employed as a supervisor for Dupont of Pompton Lakes for 38 years. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Marion) Townsend; two sons, Ronald of Swartswood, NJ and Richard of Bloomingdale; one sister, Marion Shirley Carr of Pompton Lakes; two grandchildren and on great grandchild. Trappe, Donald Edward, 59, of West Milford formerly of Hackensack, passed away on Saturday October 6, 2007 at his residence where he lived with his loving mother Clara. He was a loyal employee of Myron Manufacturing of Maywood , where he worked for thirty eight years as a fork lift operator. He loved animals and they were always a great part of his life. All services were private under the direction of Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

Turner, Florence E. (Doremus), age 80, of Hewitt formerly of Wyckoff, died Thursday, June 7, 2007. Mrs. Turner was a member of Newfoundland United Methodist Church and a charter member of Flotilla 10-13 U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. She and her husband Richard Butler Turner were photographers in Wyckoff for many years. She is survived by her husband Richard, a son, William E. Turner of Hewitt, two daughters, Patricia A. Burns of West Milford and Alice D. Ackerson of Wayne, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Turner, Richard Butler, 83, of Hewitt formerly of Wyckoff on Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Before retiring he was a self-employed photographer in Wyckoff. Mr. Turner was a charter member of US Coast Guard Auxiliary of Flotilla 10-13, an exempt fireman-Wyckoff Fire Dept Co. # 1, established and managed Wyckoff Fire Dept Band, a lifetime member of Wyckoff Lions Club, Wyckoff Chamber of Commerce, Ambulance Corp, Elks, Wyckoff Reformed Church and Newfoundland United Methodist Church. He was a civilian volunteer in the US Army Aircraft Warning Service. Surviving is a son, William E. Turner of Hewitt, two daughters, Patricia A. Burns of West Milford and Alice D. Ackerson of Wayne, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Florence (Doremus) (6/7/2007) and his parents Richard B., Sr. and Laura (Butler) Turner. Ugrovics, Joseph G. age 77 of West Milford on Sunday, January 6, 2008. A resident of West Milford for the past 47 years, having moved here from Garfield. Mr. Ugrovics was a former fire chief for the Macopin Fire Co. # 4 of West Milford and a truck driver for Mead-Wilbert of Wayne. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Monks Ugrovics; three sons, Joseph W. of Hewitt, Scott L. of Branchville and Kevin P. of West Milford; two daughters, Debra L. Ugrovics of Bloomingdale and Kimberly Taylor of Hamburg; one brother, Robert of Manchester, NJ; one sister, Lila Amerspeck of Jefferson Township. Six grandchildren also survive. Utter, William R. "Bob", age 73, of West Milford died Friday, January 19, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock. He has been a resident of West Milford for the past 32 years and was previously from Pompton Lakes. Until is retirement, Mr. Utter was employed as a truck mechanic for West Milford Haulage, West Milford. Surviving are his wife, Barbara A. (Van Dyke) Utter; his mother, Ida Mae (Crane) Utter; two brothers, David A. of Landing, NJ and Richard C. of West Milford; one sister, Carolyn J. Martin of Wichita, KS and many nieces and nephews. Vanker, Helen R. (Wright), age 52, a retail clerk for B. J.'s Wholesale Club, Riverdale, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Wanaque, NJ. Mrs. Vanker lived in West Milford for 28 years and was previously from Butler. She is survived by her husband Paul, two daughters Heather Vanker of Parsippany, NJ and Nicole Vanker of West Milford, NJ and a grandson Alexander. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Ruth (Rabbit) Wright. Funeral services will be held Monday (March 19) 10 AM at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Rev. Velebir, Craig R., age 23, a construction worker, died Thursday, February 8, 2007. He was a 2001 graduate of West Milford High School. Mr. Velebir was a lifelong resident of West Milford. He is survived by his father, Robert Velebir of West Milford; his mother, Candace (Halma) Link and stepfather John Link of Hewitt; a brother, Steven Velebir of Lincoln Park, NJ; paternal grandfather, Stephen Velebir of Wayne, NJ; maternal grandmother Anne Halma of Wyckoff, NJ; a nephew "Stevie" Velebir; also survived by several aunts and uncles. Mrs. Villa lived in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey for 12 years and was previously from Long Island. Born in the Philippines, she came to the United States in 1977. She is survived by four sons, Pablo of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Rolando of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Jose, Jr. of Binghamton, NY, Oscar of Long Island, NY; four daughters, Isabelita Baniqued of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Iluminada De Castro of the Philippines, Erlinda Gagui of Astoria, NY, Trini Sarmiento of LasVegas, NV; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose, and a son, Guillermo Villa. She was born the daughter of Julian and Estefana (Estolano) Magnaye. Mrs. Vreeland lived in Vernon, NJ for 17 years and was previously from Highland Lakes. She is survived by her husband Randall, a son Byron Tiritilli of Newton, NJ, two step-sons Jake and Kyle Vreeland both of Hewitt, NJ, three brothers, Stanley Brinster of Savannah, GA, Raymond and Steven Brinster of Vernon, NJ, four sisters, Elaine Groves of San Francisco, CA, Bernadette Trainor of West Milford, NJ, Kathleen Vreeland of Vernon, NJ and Theresa Fatula of Milford, PA, also a granddaughter, Amber Rose Tiritilli. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Marion (Burzinski) Brinster. The family will receive friends at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Thursday (7/5) from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Memorial service will be held Friday, July 6, 2007 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt at 11 AM.

Walsh, James M. , 75, a retired banker for PNC Bank, West Paterson, on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock, N J.Mr. Walsh was a 41 year resident of Kinnelon, NJ and was previously from Newton, Mass. He is survived by a son, Steven and his wife Deborah of Vernon, two daughters, Carol and her husband Craig of Vernon, Jeannie Shuster and husband, Gavin Geiger of Lebanon, a brother, Peter Walsh of Phoenix, AZ, a sister, Catherine Gordon of NH, two grandchildren, Brian Shuster and Sarah Walsh and his significant other, Nola Grayback. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (2002) and a son, John (2005). He was born in Massachusetts the son of the late Martin and Catherine (McDonough) Walsh. He was a past member of the National Guard. Funeral services 11:00 AM, Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Final disposition private. Warren, Eleanor (Manza), age 80, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at her home in Riverdale, NJ. Mrs. Warren was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Pompton Lakes. She lived in Riverdale for 58 years and was the daughter of James and Jennie (Harty) Manza. She is survived by a son Charles J. of Round Rock, TX, four grandchildren and, one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her daughter Diana Baumann and a brother John Manza. Weaver, Pamela Jean (Davino), 38, of West Milford on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Cancer Treatment of America in Zion, Illinois. Mrs. Weaver was a member of Marshall Hill PTA, a team Mom for son's West Milford Football teams, Greenwood Forest Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Aux. (1990-95). Surviving are her husband William, two sons, William R. and Matthew C. her parents, Nunzio J. and Arlene J. (Peterson) Davino, a sister, Claudia L. Davino all of West Milford. Born in Hackensack, she was a life long resident of West Milford. Visiting at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Wilke, Kenneth W., 63, a shipping and receiving clerk for The Printers Place, Montclair, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at Care One in Wayne, New Jersey. Mr. Wilke lived in Butler, New Jersey for 15 years and was previously from Linden. He was born in Elizabeth, the son of Otto and Irene (Ruby) Wilke. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by two sisters, Diana Coutts of Kinnelon and Barbara Jordan of Belford and several nieces and nephews. Willmott, Frederick W., 89, a retired bank officer for Manufactures Hanover Bank, NYC, on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. Born in Weehawken to the late William and Barbara (Lachenauer) he lived in Union City before moving to West Milford 33 years ago. Mr. Willmott was a World War II Army veteran, attaining the rank of T-5 and a member of the West Milford American Legion. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Donald), a daughter-in-law, Karen Willmott, a sister, Barbara Barrett, a granddaughter, Denise Masanko and two great grandchildren, Alexei and Zander Masanko. He was predeceased by a son Fred, a grandson Richard Willmott and a great grandson Dominick Masanko. Funeral services Monday, 11 AM at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. (Lacerda) Martins, she has been a resident of West Milford for 20 years moving here from Northvale, NJ. Mrs. Wood was a realtor with the Weichert Realtors of West Milford for 5 years. Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband, Andrew G.; four children, Andrew M., Jason M., Joseph M. and Alexis M. Wood all of West Milford; her mother, Maria R. (Lacerda) Martins; two sisters, Linda L. Martins of Watkins Glen, NY and Rose M. Ciriello of Whitehall, PA. Predeceased by her father, Lionel V. Martins and a brother Louis Martins. Zerbe, Dawn C. (Ciancia) age 46 of Wayne on Friday, March 30, 2007 in Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dawn Zerbe lived in West Milford (1989-2002) prior to moving to Wayne. She was the daughter of Frank A. Ciancia and Gloria Vivo Ciancia. She loved to work with silk flower arrangements. Dawn is survived by a daughter Erica A. Zerbe and her former husband and close friend Bob Zerbe of West Milford and a brother Tom Ciancia of Vero Beach, Fl.. Funeral liturgy 11:30AM Tuesday (4/3) at St.Joseph’s Church, West Milford.
