WILLISTON — Eldridge Ray Runnels, 65, a retired auto mechanic, died Saturday July 1, 2000.
A native of Ocala, he was a lifelong resident of Williston.
Mr. Runnels was Baptist and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his sons, Avely Runnels, Jacksonville, N.C., Ray Runnels Jr., Bushnell and Danny Lucas, Inglis; daughters, Rena Runnels, Lake Park, Ga. and Shirley Lucas, Savannah, Ga.; brothers, L.K. Runnels, Crystal River and Marion Runnels, Forest Hill, Calif.; sisters, Edna Moye, Boca Raton, Norma Lyons, Dunnellon, Ruth Marlow, Pinellas Park and Anita Walker, Crystal River; and nine grandchildren.

Mamie T. Williams, 90
LAKE WALES — Mamie Tucker Williams, 90, died July, 3, 2000.
She worked in the fruit-packing department for Maxcy Corp. and Ben Hill Griffin Corp. and in the lunchroom at Frostproof Elementary School.
A native of Hosford, she moved to Lake Wales from Omega, Ga. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Frostproof Church of God and a former Sunday school teacher at the first Assembly of God Church in Frostproof.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton T. Williams Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Williams Cannon, Ocala; sons, Floyd Donald Williams, Ocala and Clayton T. Williams Jr., Frostproof; sisters, Lonie E. Dixon and Ruby Beasley, both of Frostproof; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Kenneth C. Anderson, 91
OCALA — Kenneth C. Anderson, 91, a retired school teacher, died Monday, July 3, 2000.
A native of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., he moved here from Bradenton 17 years ago. Mr. Anderson was Catholic.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary J. Anderson, Ocala and Julie A. DiRocco, La Crosse, Wis.; sons, Robert Anderson, Jonesborough, Tenn. and Fredrick C. Anderson, York, Pa.; and eight grandchildren.

SILVER SPRINGS — Emma Lucene Ayers, 95, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at her home.
A native of Gobles, Mich., she moved here from Arcadia six years ago. Mrs. Ayers was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, James K. Williams, Arlington, Texas; daughters, Barbara J. Klobucher, Lawton, Mich. and Shelley Decker, Silver Springs; sister, Bettina I. Rinehart, North Port; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Wilbur S. Carr, 77
CITRA — Wilbur Sharp Carr, 77, a retired salesman, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
A native of Middleton, Ohio, he moved here from Detroit in 1982. Mr. Carr was a member of Citra United Methodist Church, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Citra Post, and the Liyons Club of Reddick. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Carr, Citra; sons, Barry Morgan, Columbus, Ohio and Randy Morgan, Citra; daughter, Jennifer Noel, Louisville, Ky.; sister, Catherine Oliver, Middleton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

MCINTOSH — Providenza Dimella, 93, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at her home.
A native of Italy, she moved here from Broward County in 1995. Mrs. Dimella was Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Alex Badia and Anthony Badia.
Survivors include her sons, Andrew T. DiMella, McIntosh and Robert P. DiMella, Staten Island, N.Y.; sisters, Marion Scortino, Staten Island, Lena Gabriel and Constance Vasta, both of New York City; brothers, Joseph Cardillo, Brooklyn, N.Y. and Thomas Cardillo, Hudson; and 11 grandchildren.

SUMMERFIELD — Max Goree, 69, a retired human resources employee, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Goree was a native of Monroe, La. He was a member of Belleview Masonic Lodge 95, Ocala Scottish Rite, Morocco Shrine Temple of Jacksonville, Ocala Shrine Club, B.P.O.E. Lodge 2730 Post and Ocala Moose Lodge 1014. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

She is survivors include ed by her mother, Laura C. Hartner, Ocala; a sister, Mary E. Hartner, Stuart; brothers, James E. Hartner, North Tonawanda, N.Y., William H. Hartner, Austin, Texas and Gerald M. Hartner, Kenmore, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lt. Col. Alvin H. Hartner, U.S. Army.
