OCALA — Kenneth Anthony Dyer, 34, a laborer of Line Valve Industry, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, in Candler.
A native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, he moved here from Bronx, N.Y., nine years ago. Mr. Dyer was Adventist.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Dyer; son, Kenneth Dyer Jr.; daughters, Alisa Dyer, and Alexandra Dyer, all of Ocala; sisters, Wilma Blyden and Dazery Lynn, both of Ocala, Barbara Baltimore, Vilma Dyer and Patricia Seals, all of St. Thomas, and Yvonne Dyer, Rochester, N.Y.; brothers, Basha Dyer, Orlando, O'Basha Dyer, Rochester, Kelvin Dyer, and Shawn Jacobs, both of St. Thomas; and mother, Jennells Lambert, Queens, N.Y.

Joan Hance, 71
SUMMERFIELD — Joan Hance, 71, a retired radio station accountant, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at her home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved to Summerfield from Fort Lauderdale in 1997. Mrs. Hance was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Hance, Summerfield; daughters, Elaine Hopkins, Cranbury, N.J., Zeita M. Lobley, Manhattan, N.Y., and Donna P. Lamac, Westbury, N.Y.; stepson, John J. Hance, Long Island, N.Y.; sister, Anne M. Kearns, Lady Lake; brothers, William F. Lovell, Sun City Center, Daniel J. Lovell, Goodyear, Ariz., and Robert E. Lovell, Danbury, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

OCALA — Donald G. "Todd" McGrath, 76, a technical engineer at Newark Air Force Base in Ohio, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Malta, Ohio, he moved here from Newark, Ohio, two years ago. Mr. McGrath was a member of United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen McGrath, Ocala; daughters, Karen Moore, Riverview, Denise Pickelman, Peachtree City, Ga., and Diane Simon, Newark; brothers, Myron McGrath, McConnelsville, Ohio, and George McGrath, Crooksville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and five great—grandchildren.

CITRUS SPRINGS — Peter I. Morales, 60, a program analyst for the former Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000.
A native of Puerto Rico, he moved to Citrus Springs in 1993. Mr. Morales was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Nilda Morales, Citrus Springs; son, Erik Morales, New Orleans; daughter, Marilyn Lebija, Miami; sisters, Carmen Memberg, Judy Morales, Mary Alvarado, Bay Rodriguez and Gladys Gauthier, all of New York, and Marjie Armero, Miami.

Greyburn W. Pinder, 84
OCALA — Greyburn W. Pinder, 84, a retired railroad clerk, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000.
A native of Miami, he moved to Ocala from Hialeah in 1984.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandra King, Silver Springs; five grandchildren; and seven great—grandchildren.

Dorthy M. Sauder, 90
OCALA — Dorthy May Sauder, 90, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000, at her home.
A native of Salineville, Ohio, she moved to Ocala from Massillon, Ohio, in 1986.
Survivors include her daughters, June E. Preusser, Largo, and Joyce A. Garn, Ocala; stepsons, Donald E. Sauder, Woodland Hills, Calif., and Roger E. Sauder, Punta Gorda; 12 grandchildren; and 33 great—grandchildren.

PETALUMA, Calif. — John David Swick, 89, a retired sales promotion manager, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000.
A native of Schenectady, N.Y., and a former resident of Ocala, Mr. Swick was preceded in death by his wife, Laura K. Parcells. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Fraser, California; four grandchildren; and one great—granddaughter.

Doris M. Brebner, 73
OCALA — Doris M. Brebner, 73, a retired floral designer of Harrington Flowers, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000 in Green Bay, Wisc.
A native of Madison, Wisc., she moved here from Gillett, Wisc., 17 years ago. Mrs. Brebner was Lutheran.
Survivors include her husband, John P. Brebner, Ocala; son, Jack K. Sarver, Madison, Wisc.; daughter, Sherri L. Sarver, Independence, Ore.; and one grandchild.

Elizabeth R. Brown, 89
WILDWOOD — Elizabeth Rand Brown, 89, a retired cafeteria manager, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000.
A native of Brookline, Mass., she moved to Wildwood from Ludlow, Mass., in 1991. Mrs. Brown was a member of Oxford Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Blanchette, Inverness, Patricia McGurr, Indian Orchard, Mass., Karen Vertfeuille, Palmer, Mass., Linda Phelps, Ludlow; and Lisa M. Martin; son, Gerald L. Brown; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Frank W. Gay, 77
BEVERLY HILLS — Frank W. Gay, 77, a gun manufacturing business foreman, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Gay was a native of Springfield, Mass., and a resident of Beverly Hills. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 10087, and a lifetime member of Hernando Elks Lodge. He was a Citrus Memorial Hospital volunteer for 10 years. He was a merchant marine, U.S. Navy, and Air National Guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Stephanie Gay, Beverly Hills; daughters, Joan Pasteris, Springfield, Mass., and Lil Valley, Ludlow, Mass.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Citrus County.

Marion McCall, 56
CITRA — Marion "Buck" McCall, 56, a retired self—employed mechanic, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Enterprise, Ala., he moved here from Pearson in 1979. Mr. McCall was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret McCall; daughters, Teresa Gagnon, and Lisa Perrett, all of Citra; brother, James McCall, Florida; sisters, Rosie Cruz, Tampa, Bonnie Parrish, Winter Haven, Ruthie Cox, and Myrtle McCall, both of Tallahassee; and four grandchildren.

Henry J. McMillan, 76
HOMOSASSA — Henry Jay McMillan, 76, a retired merchant marine, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000.
A native of Savannah, Ga., he moved to Homosassa from New Orleans in 1986. Mr. McMillan was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 2013 in Crystal River.
Mr. McMillan was preceded in death by his wife, June E. McMillan.
Survivors include his daughter, Elaine Blankenship, Flushing, Mich.; brother, George W. MacMillan, Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Barbara Tankersley, Savannah; and two grandchildren.

FORT MCCOY — Robert George Nevers, 77, a forester for the state of Florida, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he moved to Fort McCoy in 1964. Mr. Nevers was Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Nevers; daughters, Priscilla Rodgers, both of Fort McCoy, and Helen Micham, Oxford, Ala.; sisters, Dorothy Steckline, McKinney, Texas, Peggy Jo Lambert, Aiken, S.C.; Betty Wilkerson, North Augusta, S.C., and Nancy Cox, Spartanburg, S.C.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Joseph T. O'Brien, 77
OCALA — Joseph T. O'Brien, 77, a retired manager for A&P Grocery store in Brooklyn, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, at his home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to Ocala from Woodhaven, N.Y., 11 years ago. Mr. O'Brien was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Angela Santos Veteran of Foreign Wars Post No. 4781. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, where he served on Underwater Demolition Team No. 21.
Mr. O'Brien was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret O'Brien.
Survivors include his daughter, Alice DiBenedetto, Woodhaven, N.Y.; son, Kevin O'Brien, Warwick, N.Y.; sister, Mary Schuellein, Lynbrook, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and a special friend, Lillian Jack, Ocala.
