OCALA — Robert Kovach, 80, a retired plant manager for General Motors, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000.
A native of Cleveland, he moved here from Palm Coast in 1988. Mr. Kovach was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Kovach, Ocala; son, Robert Kovach, Washington D.C.; mother, Christine Kovack, Cleveland; and sister, Irene Stutzman, Aurora, Ohio.

Mary R. Prestigiacomo, 83
INVERNESS — Mary R. Prestigiacomo, 83, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000.
A native of Italy, she moved to Inverness from Queens, N.Y., 28 years ago. Mrs. Prestigiacomo was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Club of Our Lady of Fatima and the Highland Civic Center Association.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Anthony Prestigiacomo, Inverness; sons, Joseph A. Prestigiacomo, and Jack J. Prestigiacomo, both of Inverness; and four grandchildren.

Marcia Ramseur, 42
DUNNELLON — Marcia Ramseur, 42, a patient coordinator for Marion Citrus Mental Health Center, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Dunnellon, she was a lifelong resident of Dunnellon. Mrs. Ramseur was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Chantal Ramseur; mother, Edna Cox, both of Dunnellon; sisters, Gail Gadson and Alice Shell, Dunnellon, Hattie Thomas, Crystal River, and Lena Edwards, Boynton Beach; brothers, Lewis Cox, Dunnellon, Sammie Cox, and Lucious Cox Jr., Miami.

Thelma Rosinsky, 81
BELLEVIEW — Thelma Rosinsky, 81, a retired secretary, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved here from New York 27 years ago. Mrs. Rosinsky was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Rosinsky, in 1989.
Survivors include her nephew, Melvyn Drossman, Old Bethpage, N.Y.

MORRISTON — Arvil "Ted" Scott, 54, an electronic technician, died SunSaturday, Sept. 30, 2000.
A native of the Cayman Islands, he moved to Morriston from Canada 22 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Scott, Morriston; brothers, John Scott, Fort Lauderdale, and Ron Scott, Key West; sisters, Jessica Scott, England, Eula Hurlston, Grand Cayman Island, and Norma Ross, Fort Lauderdale.

OCALA — Kim K. Steinbacher, 27, a cook, died, Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., she moved here from New York 10 years ago. Miss Steinbacher was a member of Wings of Faith Church.
Survivors include her parents, Larry and Tara Steinbacher, Ocala; sisters, Lora Whiddon, St. Cloud, and Lisa Steinbacher, Ocala.

BELLEVIEW — Harland R. Strouse, 91, a retired sales representative for Beaver Tool Manufacturing Co. in Toledo, Ohio, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at Alterra Sterling House of Lady Lake.
A native of Luckey, Ohio, he moved here from Decatur, Ga., several years ago. Mr. Strouse was a member of Belleview Christian Church.
Survivors include his sisters, Hazel A. Harbauer, Toledo, Ohio, and Donna Buffington, Cape Coral.

Louise K. Tetley, 83
FLORAL CITY — Louise K. Tetley, 83, a retired bank teller, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000.
A native of New Bedford, she moved to Floral City two years ago from Newry, Maine. Mrs. Tetley was Protestant. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star in Bethel, Maine.
Survivors include her husband, Norman C. Tetley, Floral City; daughter, Sandra Senical, Gardner, Mass.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

James J. Watters, 95
INVERNESS — James J. Watters, 95, a retired cook, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000.
A native of Ireland, he moved here from Washington, N.J., nine years ago. Mr. Watters was Catholic. He was a member of Elks Lodge in Plainfield, N.J.
Survivors include his sons, James J. Watters II, Newburgh, N.Y., and Thomas A. Watters, North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sister, Margaret Butt, Cornwell, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

DUNNELLON — Estelle Boggs, 81, a retired nurse's aide, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000.
Mrs. Boggs was a native of Sneads, and a resident of Dunnellon.
Survivors include her son, James Lovett, Dunnellon; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Patricia G. R. Bonner, 36
OCALA — Patricia Genilo Ramos Bonner, 36, a community service officer for Ocala Police Department, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Quezon City, Philippines, she moved here from San Diego 12 years ago. Mrs. Bonner was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala, the 351st Military Police Company and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4209, both in Ocala. She was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Bosnia.
Survivors include her husband, Robie Bonner, Ocala; parents, Moses and Estela Miranda, Philippines; daughters, Jessica Ramos, Alyssa Ramos, and Megan Bonner; son, Ryan Bonner, all of Ocala; sisters, Edna Lapid, Pensacola, Pamela Alston, Germany, and Cynthia Garcia; and brother, Mario Miranda, both of San Diego.

Betty D. Butler, 75
OCALA — Betty Dorsey Butler, 75, a retired teacher, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000 in Orlando.
A native of Indianapolis, she moved here from Miami in 1981. Mrs. Butler was a member of First Church of Christ Scientists, Marion County Retired Educators Association, Ocala Storytellers Guild, All State Hospitality Club, Early Childhood Association for the State of Florida, National Association for Early Young Children, and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a kindergarten teacher for Oakcrest and Ocala Springs Elementary Schools.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeanne Steding, Orlando, and Mary Beth Waltz, Ocala; son, Daniel D. Butler, Auburn, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Library, Ocala Public Library.

Obert L. Copper, 70
OCALA — Obert "Obe" L. Copper, 70, a retired senior petty officer for the U.S. Navy, died Oct. 4, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Baltimore, he moved here from Chesapeake, Va., nine years ago. Mr. Copper was a member of College Road Baptist Church and the U.S. Navy Cryptologic Association. He worked for U.S. Postal Service for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife, Frances R. Copper, Ocala; son, Bob Copper, Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Cheryl Ann Copper, Norfolk, Va.; brother, Dan Copper, Ocala; sister, Carolyn Sylvester, Baltimore.
Mr. Copper was preceded in death by his first wife, Pat S. Copper.

Survivors include her son, John Anderson, DeLand; daughter, Vicki Roberts, Ocala; sister, Luella Henning, Fort Smith, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kelley was a native of Jacksonville. He was a longtime resident of Wildwood. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Kelley; son, Jessee Kelley, both of Wildwood; brother, Franklin Kelley, Bonifay; and sister, Myra Paxton, Oxford.
