OCALA — Norman G. Farnsworth, 81, a retired policeman for Dow Chemical, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000.
A native of Midland County, Mich., he moved here from Michigan in 1969. Mr. Farnsworth was Methodist. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of Word War II.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Farnsworth, Ocala; son, Gary D. Farnsworth, San Francisco; daughter, Barbara L. Million, Ocala; sister, Marjorie Lefler, Midland; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pauline Hilliker, 82
SILVER SPRINGS — Pauline Hilliker, 82, a self-employed cosmetologist, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, in Shore Manor, Colo.
A native of Almont, Mich., she moved here from Michigan 20 years ago. Mrs. Hilliker was a member of First Christian Church of Ocala.
Mrs. Hilliker was preceded in death by her first husband, Delbert Merritt; and husband, Edward Hilliker.
Survivors include her sons, Edward Merritt, Windsor, Colo., and Lyle W. Merritt, Milwaukee; brother, Morris Will, Port Richey; sister, Dorothy Harmon, Almont; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Dorothy L. Kendrick, 87, a retired culinary employee for the Department of Correction, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at TimberRidge Nursing Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Ocala, she is a lifelong resident of Marion County. Mrs. Kendrick was a member of Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Moonyeen Bryant and Leverne Cogdell, both of Ocala, Sandra Hudnell, West Palm Beach, and Sharon Johnson, Miami; son, James Kendrick, Jacksonville; sister, Beatrice Monroe, St. Petersburg; 15 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Geneva Leek, 63, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Harrison County, Ky., she moved here from Lecanto in 1999. Mrs. Leek was Presbyterian.
Survivors include her husband, Jay W. Leek, Ocala; daughters, Marilynn Weis, Tavares, Debi Jakubcin, Oviedo, and Stacy DeSalvo, Bonita Springs; sons, James Leek, Tampa, Timothy DeCoursey, Wake Forest, N.C., Scott Leek, Castle Rock, Colo., and Roderick Leek, Ocala; sister, Dorothy Hanna, Cynthiana, Ky.; brothers, Donnie Adams, Mesa, Ariz., Bill Adams, Whittier, Calif., and Jimmy Adams, Orlando; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Reidar Lund, 78, a retired manager for General Tire, Akron, Ohio, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, in Summerfield.
A native of Oslo, Norway, he moved here from Lady Lake in 1987. Mr. Lund was a Norwegian Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, U. Rolande Brown, Belleview; daughters, Anna M. Rife, England, and Randi Brisco, Denver, Colo.; sister, Ann M. Sundvor, Oslo; and four grandchildren.

Oda A. Mitchell, 89
HOMOSASSA — Oda Alene Mitchell, 89, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000.
A native of Independence County, Ark., she moved here from Flint, Mich., 22 years ago. Mrs. Mitchell was Protestant.
Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Mitchell, in 1985.
Survivors include her sons, Neil Cason and William Cason, both of Homosassa, Stanley Cason, Holiday, and Doyne Cason, Davison, Mich.; sisters, Emogene Wilkins, Batesville, Ark., Algene Coen, Denver, Faye Hartsough, South Bend, Ind., and Annie Smith, Bedford, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Beverly F. Richards, 74, a retired accountant, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Life Care Center of Ocala.
A native of Detroit, she moved here from Toledo, Ohio. Mrs. Richards was a member of the Church of St. George, Anglican.
Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Richards, Ocala; sister, Joyce Belt, Mountain Home, Ark.; and brother, Daniel B. Perry, Franklin, N.C.

OCKLAWAHA — A. "Morrie" M. Taylor Jr., 77, a retired plumber, died Sept. 12, 2000, in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
A native of Monroeville, Ind., he moved to Ocklawaha from Orlando 20 years ago. Mr. Taylor was a member of American Legion Post No. 420, Monroeville; life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8083, Belleview; former Shriner; member of the Masonic Blue Lodge and Plumbers Union No. 803, Orlando; and Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 4216, Ocala.
He was preceded in death by his son, Clyde R. Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou B. Taylor, Ocklawaha; daughter, Beverly Ann Little, Ocklawaha; brother, James E. Taylor, Fort Wayne, Ind.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Cecil S. Cordell, 81, a retired television repairman, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Shell Creek, Tenn., he moved here from Miami 25 years ago. Mr. Cordell was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, the Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World war II.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen E. Cordell, Ocala; daughter, Lisa Ann Cordell, Ocklawaha; son, Cecil S. Cordell Jr., Ocala; sisters, Kathleen Pearson and Maxine Swanner, both of Telford, Tenn., Billie Martin, Johnson City, Tenn., and Ida Tinker, Erwin, Tenn.; brothers, Jack Imler, Auburndale, Bruce Tilson, Johnson City, Thomas Tilson, Telford, and Wayne Tilson, Ocala; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her son, Guy H. Wiseman, in 1989.
Survivors include her son, Douglas Wiseman, Toledo, Ohio; stepdaughters, Kimberly Austin, New Port Richey, and Kerry Penny, Arvada, Colo.; sisters, Susan Szparagowski, Petersburg, Mich., Michelle Burkey, Hillsdale, Mich., and Ann Pajak, Toledo; and three grandchildren.

Maydel B. Edmundson, 72
WILLISTON — Maydel Brewer Edmundson, 72, a correctional officer, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000.
Mrs. Edmundson was a native of Perry, and a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Williston.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Edmundson, Williston; sons, Larry Edmundson, Gene Edmundson, Jerry Edmundson and Randy Edmundson, all of Williston; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
