OCKLAWAHA — Barbara C. Evans, 43, a homemaker, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000.
A native of Miami, she moved here in 1980. Mrs. Evans was Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Evans; son, John Henderson; daughter, Dawn Hizer; and mother, Joyce Henderson, all of Ocklawaha.

Genevalee Hein, 37
DUNNELLON — Genevalee Hein, 37, a cook, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000.
A native of Miami, she moved here from Leesburg in 1999. Mrs. Hein was a member of The Rock Church.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Hein; mother, Linda Phelps; father, Robert Phelps, all of Dunnellon; son, Ricardo J. Esscarra II, Naples; brother, Shayne H. Phelps, Inglis; and sister, Betty K. Phelps, Crystal River.

Clyde W. Joyce, 80
MORRISTON — Clyde Warren Joyce, 80, a retired heavy equipment operator for El Paso Natural Gas, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, in Gainesville.
A native of Martinsville, Va., he moved here from Gallup, N.M., in 1985. Mr. Joyce was a member of Lebanon Masonic Lodge 22, Gallup; York Rite of Free Masonry, Gallup; and Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, Albuquerque, N.M.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Joyce, Morriston; daughters, Sue Carlton, Williston, Dixie Deffendall, Vero Beach, and Jacque Huggins, Farmington, N.M.; sister, Frances Bragg, Jonesboro, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Jeanette Kosman, 76
OCALA — Jeanette Kosman, 76, a manager for Brick City Flowers, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at Palm Garden of Ocala.
A native of Boonton, N.J., she moved here from Fort Lauderdale in 1980. Mrs. Kosman was Catholic.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Zeltner, Ocala; brother, Joseph Kovalcik, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

Berneice Lay, 66
OCALA — Berneice Lay, 66, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Orlando, she was a longtime resident of Ocala. Mrs. Lay was Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Lay Sr.; daughters, Barbara Williams and Betsy Eary; sons, Barry Lay, Bobby Lay Jr., and Bryan Lay, all of Ocala; sisters, Mildred Gore, Silver Springs, and Clara Hansen, Kissimmee; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Felicia Loiacano, 89
BROOKSVILLE — Felicia Loiacano, 89, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a former resident of Beverly Hills. Mrs. Loiacano was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills.
Survivors include her sons, Ritchie Loiacano and Carmine Loiacano, both of West Babylon, N.Y.; brothers, Jimmy Abruzzesa, Brooklyn, and Mike Abruzzesa, Beverly Hills; sister, Mary Fiore, Miller Place, N.Y.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen L. Meyer, 91
OCALA — Helen Louise Meyer, 91, a homemaker, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, in Daytona Beach Shores.
A native of Tuttle, Okla., she moved here from Evansville, Ind., in 1979. Mrs. Meyer was a member of First Baptist Church of Citra.
Survivors include her son, Louis B. Derrick, Palm Beach Gardens; daughters, Peggy A. Blackmon, Palm Beach Gardens, and Linda L. Smith, Daytona Beach Shores; sister, Ernestine Ludke, Ocala; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

George E. Mimms, 85
LAS VEGAS — George Eaton Mimms, 85, a retired accountant, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at Torrey Pines Care Center.
A native of Anthony, he moved to Las Vegas 65 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor C. Mimms, Las Vegas; daughters, Georgia Conatser, Winslow, Ariz., and Cynthia Fleming, Las Vegas; sister, Beatrice Shephard, Williston; brothers, Duke Mimms, Gainesville, and Walter Mimms, Anthony; and seven grandchildren.

Donald C. Reeve Sr., 80
OCALA — Donald C. Reeve Sr., 80, a retired manager, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Palm Garden of Ocala.
A native of St. Thomas, Ontario, he moved here from Alton, Ill., 24 years ago. Mr. Reeve retired from Owens Illinois Glass Co., after 35 years of service. He served in the U.S Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby S. Reeve, Ocala; son, Donald C. Reeve, Ocala; daughter, Pamela Quina, Pensacola; sisters, Betty Tann, Claypool, Ind., and Joan Beard, Marion, Ind.; stepdaughters, Charlene Whitehall, Denver, Carrie Wall, Belleview, Brenda Barnett and Jill Trudell, both of Alton; and three grandchildren.

Mattie M. Stone, 64
WILDWOOD — Mattie Martha Stone, 64, a licensed practical nurse, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000.
A native of Fort McCoy, she moved to Wildwood in 1945. Mrs. Stone was Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia "Lynn" Collins, Wildwood and Mary Anna Boehm, New Port Richey; sons, Wayne Stone and David Stone, Wildwood; sister Odessa McElrath, Wildwood; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

William B. Wilson Jr., 74
OCALA — William B. Wilson Jr., 74, a retired railroad engineer, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Tampa.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Clay Wilson, and ex-wife, Evelyn Pryor Wilson.
Survivors include his sons, Darwin Lee Wilson, Fort McCoy, Aurthur L. Wilson, Tampa, and Allan D. Wilson, Lake Wales; daughters, Cynthia Longini, Tampa, and Linda Pittman, Wildwood; brothers, Lester Wilson, Oklahoma, and Bartlett Wilson, Texas; sister, Barbara Pruitt, Tampa; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Walter Burger, 83
OCALA — Walter "Bud" Burger, 83, a retired supervisor for New York Telephone Co., died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at his home.
A native of Kingston, N.Y., he moved here from New York in 1985. Mr. Burger was a member of Incarnation Lutheran Church of Silver Springs Shores; Ocala Golf Association; American Legion Post 284, Belleview; Loyal Order of Moose 1199, Ocala; Telephone Co. Pioneers; Lake Weir Lions Club; Wiltwyck Golf Course, Kingston, N.Y.; Hidden Harbor Boat Club; and was a past president of Salvation Army Association. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a New York Fire Department volunteer in Ulster, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, Marion L. Burger, Ocala; daughter, Janet M. O'Neal, Indialantic; son, John D. Burger, Lovettsville, Va.; and three grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Ruth V. Cohen, 77, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000.
A native of Albany, N.Y., she moved here from Hawthorne, Calif., a year ago. Mrs. Cohen was Protestant.
Survivors include her foster sister, Dorothy Westerlund, Belleview.

Charles L. Connor, 64
BELLEVIEW — Charles Lewis Connor, 64, a retired electronics instructor, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
A native of Jacksonville, he was raised in Ocala and lived in Germany for 20 years and recently returned to Marion County. Mr. Connor was a member of Belleview American Legion Post No. 284. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korean War.
Survivors include his daughter, Karmen Connor, Germany; sisters, Ellen Hoppe, Manchester, Tenn., and Nelson Carter, Murrayville, Ga.; brother, Robert Connor, Lakeland; and eight grandchildren.

Kendall S. Crews, 32
WEIRSDALE — Kendall Saunders Crews, 32, an electrician, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000.
A native of Fort Campbell, Ky., he moved here from Kentucky in 1969. Mr. Crews was a member of Wyomina Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Gene Nelson Black, Weirsdale; son, Devan Crews; and daughter, Chelsi Crews, both of Belleview; and stepfather, Michael Black, Weirsdale.
