OCALA — Joseph William Cappel Sr., 85, a retired salesman for Bankers Life of Iowa, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Peoria, Ill., he moved here from Tampa in 1985. Mr. Cappel was a member of Holy Faith Episcopal Church, Dunnellon.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Cappel, Ocala; son, John Cappel Jr., Sikeston, Mo.; sisters, Frances Johnson, Apopka and Mary Tillotson, Akron, Ohio; brother, Tom Cappel, Sioux Lookout, Ontario; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to Marion County Alzheimer's Group.

Ludwig Hausser, 91
OCALA — Ludwig Hausser, 91, a retired cabinet maker for the New Jersey Department of Education, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of the Ukraine, he moved here from Union, N.J., in 1974. Mr. Hausser was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Hausser, Ocala; and brother, Kamilius Hausser, North Hampton, Mass.

Pearl M. Hill, 79
FLORAL CITY — Pearl M. Hill, 79, retired, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000.
A native of Philadelphia, she moved here from St. Petersburg in 1977. Mrs. Hill retired from Bealls after 22 years of service. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church, Floral City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hill.
Survivors include her sons, Chester Frenn, Hernando, Joseph Frenn, Fort Walton Beach and Michael Ritter, St. Petersburg; daughters, Barbara A. Cooper, Hernando, Janet Gamble, Salinsville, Ohio, Christina Liebermann, St. Petersburg, and Dawn Dexteraze, Seffner; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

John E. Kelly, 81
CITRUS SPRINGS — John E. Kelly, 81, an owner of Glenarm Electric Company, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital.
A native of Glenarm, Md., he moved here 24 years ago. Mr. Kelly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Citrus Springs and belonged to Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary E. Kelly, Citrus Springs; sons, Thomas E. Kelly, Baldwin, Md., W. Rodney Kelly, Loveland, Colo., Lanny L. Kelly and Dean E. Kelly, both of Glenarm; daughter, Alice Gines, White Hall, Md.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Virginia M. Knetsch, 75
OCALA — Virginia M. Knetsch, 75 a homemaker, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Ocala Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Athens, Mich., she moved here from Portage, Mich., in 1987. Mrs. Knetsch was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ladies Auxiliary, Post 4209 and Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 459.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick Knetsch, Ocala; sons, Joe Knetsch, Tallahassee and Jerry Knetsch, Greensboro, N.C.; brothers, Roy Russell, Ocala and Lynn Russell, Constantine, Mich.; and sister, Audrey Herson, Fulton, Mich.

A native of Tampa, she moved here from Alabama in 1989. Mrs. Kyzer was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and Dollfins Synchronized Swim Club.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Parker, Ocala and Sue Harrison, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Bertha A. Langdon, 58
BELLEVIEW — Bertha A. Langdon, 58, a nurse, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000.
A native of Alberta, Canada, she moved here from Canada in 1985. Mrs. Langdon was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ladies Auxiliary; Fraternal Order of the Eagles; American Legion; and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include her son, Garvin L. Wolf, Alberta; daughter, Janice Treloar, British Columbia; brother, Ernest T. Newton, Ocala; sister, Doris Newton, Alberta; and three grandchildren.

Roy T. Penn Jr., 73
OCALA — Roy T. Penn Jr., 73, a retired cemetery supervisor for the city of Delray Beach, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pleasantville, N.J., he moved here from Delray Beach in 1987. Mr. Penn was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Penn, Ocala; daughters, Gwen Thompson, Ocala, Ruth Ramsey and Carol Bacada, both of Philadelphia; sons, Jerry Blue, Williston, Russell Penn, West Palm Beach and Ted Penn, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and many grandchildren.

A native of Crabtree, Pa., she moved here from Tampa in 1996. Mrs. Pitisci was Catholic.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol St. Pierre, Dover and Lorraine Walchli, Florida; sons, Thomas J. Damico, Orlando, John P. Damico, Ocala and Richard L. Damico, Tampa; sisters, Mary Jane Morris and Ruth Peterson, both of Tampa; brother, Terrence Campbell Jr., Greensburg, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — Martha Rawls, 80, a retired antiques salesperson, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000.
A native of Fayetteville, Tenn., she moved here in 1993. Mrs. Rawls was a member of Maricamp Road Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons, Henry Wilson Wright, Hermitage, Tenn., and Clyde Rawls Jr., Fort Lauderdale; and stepson, Bobby Rawls, Fort Lauderdale.

OCALA — Consuelo Marie Rey, 53, a sales representative for Chamber of Commerce, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000.
A native of Michigan, she moved here from Gainesville one year ago. Mrs. Rey was Methodist.
Survivors include her parents, Manuel and Isabel Ray, Lexington, Mich.; son, David Rey, Orlando; daughter, Janice Brooks, Ocala; sisters, Lisa Ogarek, Canton, Mich., and Lorraine Mercieca, Brighton, Mich.; and brother, David Ray, Woodhaven, Mich.

Harold P. Robb, 76
OCALA — Harold P. Robb, 76, a psychiatrist, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at his home.
A native of Aberdeen, Scotland, he moved here from Missouri in 1995. Mr. Robb served in the British Royal Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Betty Robb, Ocala; daughters, Carol Deese, Texas and Trish Robb, Michigan; sons, Harry Robb and Sandy Robb, both of Missouri; and six grandchildren.

Margarita Santos, 72
OCALA — Margarita Santos, 72, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at her home.
A native of Guatemala, she moved here from Manhattan, N.Y., in 1994. Mrs. Santos was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Juan Santos, Ocala; daughters, Ester M. Hernandez, Milford, Pa., Julia Sandoval, Queens, N.Y., Cecilia E. Ovalle, West Palm Beach, Lolita Acevedo and Rebecca Santos, both of Ocala; sons, Mario Santos, Miami, Jose F. Santos and Hugo Villagram, both of New York City, Oscar F. Santos and Sergio G. Santos, both of Yonkers, N.Y.; sister, Arcelia Hernandez, New York; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Grace W. Wilson, 72
CHILDERSBURG, Ala. — Grace Wiggins Wilson, 72, a retired retail store manager, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at Winter Park Hospital in Winter Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Wilson.
Survivors include her daughters, Varita Ann Eatmon, Ocala, Nancy Degroot, Faribult, Minn., and Vera H. Liddle, Orlando; son, Carolton L. Barber, Hot Springs; stepsons, Charles Wilson, Earl Wilson and Jimmie Wilson, all of Orlando; sister, Gladys Foster, Magnolia, Miss.; brother, Burrell Wiggins, Leesburg; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
