OCALA — Melvin Edward Allemann, 64, a retired retail store owner, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001.
A native of Monmouth, Ore., he moved here from Chillicothe, Ohio. Mr. Allemann was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge No. 2308, Dunnellon.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Allemann, Ocala; sons, Howard F. Allemann, Dunnellon, David Allemann and Doug Allemann, both of Chillicothe; daughters, Vicky Cox, Waverly, Ohio, and Mary Carico, Londonderry, Ohio; and his brother, Gordon Allemann, Silverton, Ore.

Louis Dalenko, 85
KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — Louis Dalenko, 85, a retired tool-and-die maker, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001.
A native of Aliquippa, Pa., he was a former resident of Ocala. Mr. Dalenko was a member of a Masonic Lodge. He was of Christian faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol D. Bennett, Knightdale, N.C.

Anna L. Dull, 89
FORT McCOY — Anna Lois Dull, 89, a homemaker, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Hartford City, Ind., she moved here from Fairfield, Ohio, in 1971. Mrs. Dull was a member of Orange Springs Community Church; Orange Springs Civic Club; Orange Springs Fire Department; Daughters of the Union Veterans; and East Marion Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Dull, Fort McCoy; son, Rex Dull, Fort McCoy; sister, Betty Cerold, Portland, Ore.; and brother, Richard Wallace, Muncie, Ind.

Muriel D. Floyd, 70
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Muriel D. Floyd, 70, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Newport Hospital, Newport, R.I.
A native of Long Island, N.Y., she was a former resident of Ocala. Mrs. Floyd former worked for the Newport Preservation Society. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Newport; and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors include her husband, Thad M. Floyd, Portsmouth; daughter, Tammy Stepp, Newport; brother, Freeland Loftin, Warwick, R.I.; sisters, Adelaide Stowell, New Bedford, Mass., Beverly Bession, Hookset, N.H., and Janice Sanchez, Swansea, Mass.

OCALA — Rudolph Godla, 70, a retired insurance purchasing director, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at his home.
A native of Manhattan, N.Y., he moved here in 1993. Mr. Godla was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Godla, Ocala; and his sister, Mildred Galdieri, Centereach, N.Y.

Myrtle F. Goff, 80
OCALA — Myrtle F. Goff, 80, a homemaker, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Marion House.
A native of O'Brien, she moved here from McAlpin in 1956. She was a member of Ocala Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Roger Goff, Orlando and David Gaskin, Tyler, Texas; sister, Marguerite Mobley, Ocala; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.

Wilma J. Green, 74
DUNNELLON — Wilma Jean Green, 74, a retired cafeteria manager, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in Williston.
A native of Kentucky, she moved here from Hampton, Va., in 1977. Mrs. Green was Seventh-day Adventist.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Green, Dunnellon; sons, Richard Green and Kevin Green, both of Newport News, Va.; daughter, Donna Hunt, Newport News; brother, Roy Lockard, Denmark, S.C.; and four grandchildren.

Nell B. Luffman, 96
ANTHONY — Nell Baskin Luffman, 96, retired owner and operator of Baskin's General Store, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Hermitage, Tenn., she moved here 94 years ago. Mrs. Luffman was a member of First Baptist Church of Anthony and a former member of Anthony Woman's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.S. "Buddy" Baskin, who died in 1956; and Fred Luffman, who died in 1964.
Survivors include her daughter, Winifred Baldwin, Ocala; son, W.S. Baskin Jr., Jacksonville; sister, Chloe Ferguson, Ocala; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Una M. MacDonald, 87
OCALA — Una Mary MacDonald, 87, a retired licensed practical nurse, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Harborside Healthcare of Ocala.
A native of Malletts Bay, Vt., she moved here from Orlando in 1972. Mrs. MacDonald was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald D. MacDonald; and a son, Robert J. MacDonald.
Survivors include her daughter, M. Patricia Dumont, Venice; sons, Thomas W. MacDonald and Ronald R. MacDonald, both of Ocala; sister, Ruth Saltus, Williston; brother, Essex Junction, Vt.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW — William "Bill" G. McCandlish, 83, a retired dairy farmer, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Goodrich, Mich., he moved here from Grand Blanc, Mich., in 1975. Mr. McCandlish was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church and Belleview Masonic Lodge No. 95, (F&AM).
Survivors include his wife, Orlynn McCandlish, Belleview; daughter, Nancy McCandlish, Clearwater; son, Stephen McCandlish, New Orleans; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Kenneth E. Miller, 82
NEW PORT RICHEY — Kenneth E. Miller, 82, a retired construction carpenter,
died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001.
A native of Mudlick, Ky., he moved to New Port Richey from Crystal River. Mr. Miller was a member of First Assembly of God, New Port Richey. He served in the
U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Miller.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth L. Miller; daughter, Linda L. Miller, Port Richey; brothers, C.J. Miller, Champaign, Ill., and Clyde Miller, Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Mrs. Francis Merrifield, Champaign; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Douglas P. Schaeffer, 76
SALT SPRINGS — Douglas P. Schaeffer, 76, a retired machine operator for General Motors, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Dublin, Ind., he moved here from Lebanon, Ind., in 1987. Mr. Schaeffer was a member of Boone Masonic Lodge No. 9 (F&AM); and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 910, both of Lebanon. He was retired U.S. Marine Corps veteran, who served during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Schaeffer was Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Faye R. Schaeffer, Salt Springs; daughter, Joy Marvin, Lebanon; sister, Peggy L. Pursell, Sacramento, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

John J. Walker, 90
OCALA — John J. Walker, 90, a retired serviceman for Borden Industries, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Hampton Manor in Belleview.
A native of Workington, England, he moved here from Stratford, Conn., in 1973. Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was Protestant.
Survivors include his daughter, Judith Clink, Oldsmar; son, Robert A. Walker, Ocala; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Norma C. Whitesides, 70
OCALA — Norma C. Whitesides, 70, a homemaker, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at her home.
A native of Cabarrus County, N.C., she moved here from Lincolnton, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Whitesides, Ocala; daughters, Wendy Frane, O'Fallon, Mo., Janet Burr, Ocala, Robin Trexler and Kitty Davault, both of Rockwell, N.C.; sons, Matt Cagle, Albemarle, N.C., Jamie Whitesides and Jerry Whitesides, both of Gold Hill, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

William G. Alberry Sr., 61
ANTHONY — William G. Alberry Sr., 61, a retired engineer, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Watertown, N.Y., he came to Anthony from Auburn, N.Y., 20 years ago. Mr. Alberry was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He also was an active volunteer worker at Sparr Elementary School.
Survivors include his sons, William Alberry Jr. and James Alberry, both of Auburn, Mark Anthony, Watertown, David Alberry, Lakeland, and Scott Alberry, Anthony; daughters, Dolores Urso and Lori Alberry, both of Anthony; brothers, George Alberry, Mount Laurel, N.J., Rubin Alberry, Belleview, Earl Alberry, Harrisville, N.Y., and Kenneth Alberry, Watertown; sister, Ruth Hall, Copenhagen, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren.
