OCALA — Richard G. Wyche, 85, a retired insurance salesman for Gulf Life Insurance Co., died Tuesday, March 6, 2001.
A native of New York City, he moved here from Miami in 1995. Mr. Wyche served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wyche, Ocala; sons, James G. Wyche, Miami, Theodore E. Wyche, Ocala and Robert R. Wyche, Tallahassee; daughters, Elizabeth Blickenderfer, Ocala and Dorothy Zaharako, Port St. Lucie; sister, Frances Thomas, Little Rock, Ark.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Brent W. Adkins, 83
SUMMERFIELD — Brent W. Adkins, 83, a retired tool and die maker for Ford Motor Co., died Friday, March 9, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Ranger, W.Va., he moved here from Brooklyn, Mich., in 1984. Mr. Adkins served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne during World War II.
Survivors include his sisters, Delphia Miller, Belleview, Thelma Fitt, Alice Huntsman and Juanita Bible, all of Summerfield; and brother, Bruce Adkins, Summerfield.

OCALA — Robert M. Bernard, 70, a retired assembler for General Motors, died Thursday, March 8, 2001.
A native of Tunneltown, W.Va., he moved here from Polk City in 1999. Mr. Bernard was a member of the American Legion. He was Protestant. Mr. Bernard served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Bernard, Ocala; daughters, Mary A. Bernard, Savannah, Ga., Patty Meyers and Barbara Swisher, both of Lakeland; sons, Ronald Meyers and Stephen Swisher, both of Lakeland; and sister, Jessie Toothman, Martinsburg, W.Va.

OCALA — John Robert Brooks, 86, a retired agriculture farmer, died Thursday, March 8, 2001, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, he moved here from Illinois in 1987.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lois M. Brooks, Ocala; Kay F. Ayoub, Fort Worth; brother, William S. Brooks, Chrisman, Ill.; sister, Ruth Schmidt, Silver Springs; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Castellano, Thornwood, N.Y.; and daughter, Louise Achillo, North Massapequa, N.Y.

A native of Asheville, N.C., she moved here in 1976. Ms. Crooke was Protestant.
She is survived by her cousins, Lena H. Davis, Ocala and Lillian H. Michaluk, Silver Springs.

OCALA — Frank Martins, 63, owner of Martins Used Cars Inc., died Thursday, March 1, 2001, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
A native of Sao Paulo, he moved here 35 years ago. Mr. Martins was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Martins, Ocala; daughters, Sindey Mikedis, Aparecida Souza and Roseli Brasiliano, all of Ocala; sons, Wilson Martins and Wilton Martins, both of Ocala; sisters, Clarice Giannetto, Ocala, and Erace Martins, Brazil; brothers, Joao Martins and Jose Martins, both of Brazil; and nine grandchildren.

CHIEFLAND — Rex E. Seats Sr., 75, a retired test board technician for United Telephone, died Friday, March 9, 2001, in Ocala.
A native of Homestead, he moved to Chiefland from Ocala 15 years ago. Mr. Seats was a member of First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include his daughters, Luann Clark, Ocala, Joy Braun, Anthony, and Connie Renard, Apopka; son, Rex Seats Jr., Anthony; sisters, Mary McBroom, Canon, Ga., and Jean Davis, Asheville, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.

A native of Philadelphia, he moved to Dunnellon from Pennsylvania one year ago. Mr. Bachman was a Mason and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Betty Bachman, Dunnellon; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Frank C. Gough Jr., 70
CITRUS SPRINGS — Frank C. Gough Jr., 70, a retired owner of Philly Deli Crystal River, died Friday, March 9, 2001.
A native of Philadelphia, he moved to Citrus Springs from Pennsylvania 20 years ago. Mr. Gough was a member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and Leroy Rooks Veterans of Foreign Wars in Hernando. He was a firefighter for the U.S. Marines and a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Luann C. Gough, Citrus Springs; sons, Frank C. Gough, Crystal River, Edward P. Gough, Hernando, and Patrick J. Gough, Raleigh, N.C.; sister, Jeannette Gough, San Francisco; and five grandchildren.

OCALA — Eugene Leroy Heath, 76, a retired electronic specialist for General Motors, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001.
Mr. Heath was a native of Waseca, Minn., and lived in Oak Run for 12 years. Mr. Heath was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church; Queen of Peace Men's Club; charter member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4781; and Milwaukee School of Engineering alumnus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Evelyn Heath, Ocala; daughters, Judith Kampa, Nevada, and Janet Blobe, Jacksonville; sons, Joel Heath, Oklahoma, Gerald Heath, Kentucky, and James Heath, Wisconsin; sisters, Irene Faragher and Marilyn Guenther, both of Minnesota; and four grandchildren.
