BELLEVIEW — Francisco "Pancho" Huertas-Santos, 78, a retired truck driver, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, at home.
A native of Puerto Rico, he moved here from California 17 years ago. Mr. Huertas-Santos was a member of Teamster's Union Local No. 208. He was Catholic.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha Martinez, Orlando, Judy Rodriguez, West Palm Beach, Anita H. Sanchies, Cape Cod, Mass.; son, Frankie Huertas, Milian, Ind.; sister, Lidia Huertas, Orlando; brothers, Oscar Huertas, New York City, Manuel G. Huertas, Deltona, Soldevida Huertas and Iran D. Huertas, both of Sebring; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ada Imrie, 89
OCALA — Ada Imrie, 89, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, she moved here from Bellflower, Calif., in 1997. Mrs. Imrie was Presbyterian.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather Doherty, Ocala; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Frank J. Jansen, 93
OCALA — Frank J. Jansen, 93, a retired carpenter, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Marshall, Minn., he moved here from Port St. Lucie in 1997. Mr. Jansen was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and Carpenter's Union No. 125. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice M. Jansen, Ocala; stepson, Robert Harnois, Ocala; brother, Joseph Jansen, Marshall; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Amil S. Katleski, 89
OCALA — Amil S. Katleski, 89, a retired bus driver for the Binghampton, N.Y. Public Transit Authority, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Morris Run, Pa., he moved here from Binghampton, N.Y. Mr. Katleski was a member of American Legion Post No. 0400. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Katleski, Ocala; and sister, Marion Crane, Binghampton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County.

Lester A. Key, 53
ORANGE SPRINGS — Lester "Butch" Andrew Key, 53, a self-employed automotive repairman, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Halifax Memorial Hospital in Daytona Beach.
A native of Anniston, Ala., he moved here in 1971. Mr. Key was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Key, Orange Springs; son, Lester Key, Ocala; sisters, Doris Colburn, Marion, Ala., Fay Butterworth and Samantha Key, both of Munford, Ala.; parents, Willis and Inez Key, Greensboro, Ala.; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Society.

Mary A. Lazur, 78
OCALA — Mary Ann Lazur, 78, a retired key punch operator, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at home.
A native of Monessen, Pa., she moved here from Warren, Mich., in 1970. Mrs. Lazur was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and Community Emergency Response Team.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Floehr, Grand Rapids, Mich.; brother, John Lazur, Lexington, S.C.; and two grandchildren.

H. Normand Lebrecque, 74
OCALA — H. Normand Lebrecque, 74, a retired machinist for Marion Welding and Machine Shop, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Woonsocket, R.I., he moved here 24 years ago. Mr. Lebrecque was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Luvia Lebrecque, Ocala; daughters, Debra Gagnon, Saunderstown, R.I., JoAnn Fortin and Brenda Waskiewicz, both of South Attleboro, Mass.; son, Normand Lebrecque, Enfield, N.H.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pearl E. Williams Scott, 65
OCALA — Pearl Elaine Williams Scott, 65, a caterer and chef, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Palm Garden of Ocala.
A native of Caroline County, Va., she moved here from Washington, D.C., two years ago. Mrs. Scott was a member of The Rock Family Church.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald K. Williams, Forestville, Md., Williard R. Williams and Scott Williams, both of Ocala; sisters, Ann Byrd, Washington and Betty Scott, Silver Spring, Md.; and brother, George D. Scott, Hanover, Va.

Mary A. Stahl, 83
OCALA — Mary Ann Stahl, 83, a retired grocery clerk, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., she moved here from Menomonee Falls, Wis.; in 1981. Mrs. Stahl was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John P. Stahl, Ocala.

Harold E. Thomas, 72
OCALA — Harold Elliott Thomas, 72, a graphic artist, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Apopka, he was a longtime resident of Ocala. Mr. Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Thomas, Ocala; sons, Jody Thomas and Dennis D. Thomas, both of Daytona Beach; daughters, Delores Diaz, Miami and Frances E. Pilcher, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

BEVERLY HILLS — Thang Van Le, 90, a retired aircraft mechanic, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Life Care of Citrus County in Lecanto.
A native of Hai Phong, Vietnam, he moved here from Wichita Falls, Texas, eight years ago.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Larg Thi Duong, Citrus Springs; daughters, Henriette Lossing, Citrus Springs, Lee Atkinson and Nancy Le, both of Beverly Hills; and one grandchild.

Tim Bennett, 57
WEIRSDALE — Tim Bennett, 57, a retired heavy equipment operator for Ford Motor Co., died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, in Daytona.
A native of Lincoln Park, Mich., he moved to Weirsdale in 1998 from Westland, Mich.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Bennett, Weirsdale; sons, Todd Bennett, Weirsdale, and Mark Bennett, Detroit, Mich.; sister, Jackie Wolmoth, Onaway, Mich.; brothers, William Bennett, Lady Lake, Ron Bow, Redford, Mich., Roger Bow, Garden City, Mich., and Robert Bow, Riverview, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Thomas M. Bombassei, 71
OCALA — Thomas M. Bombassei, 71, a registered architect, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at OakHurst Nursing Home.
A native of Battle Creek, Mich., he moved to Ocala in 1963. Mr. Bombassei served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a charter member of the Marion Council; a past grand knight and past faithful navigator of the 4th degree, of Knights of Columbus No. 5960; a member of the Ocala Elks Lodge No. 286; and past president of Fort King Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bombassei, Ocala; sons, Brian Bombassei, Ocala, and Thomas Bombassei, Denver; mother, Irene Bombassei, Battle Creek; sisters, Adele Lenz, Ludington, Mich., and Carla Dearing, Battle Creek.

Alvin L. Brashears Sr., 86
BELLEVIEW — Alvin L. Brashears Sr., 86, a retired egg products grader for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Mayo, Md., he moved to Belleview in 1981 from Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Brashears was a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview.
Survivors include his daughter, Eloyce Cohen, Belleview; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Lessie Capps, 94
DUNNELLON — Lessie Capps, 94, a homemaker, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001.
A native of Roseboro, N.C., she moved to Dunnellon in 1989. Mrs. Capps was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her daughter, Peg LeFrancois, Ocala; sister, Bonnie Smith, Clinton, N.C.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
