DUNNELLON — David Carl Testerman, 56, a jockey for Cardinal Hill Farms, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001.
A native of Bel Air, Md., he moved here from Baltimore three weeks ago. Mr. Testerman was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose. He was Episcopal.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Testerman, Baltimore; sons, Jeff Testerman and David Testerman Jr., both of Baltimore; daughter, Carli Testerman, Baltimore; brothers, Robert Testerman, Bel Air, and James Testerman, Delta, Pa.; and sister, Elizabeth Amerin, Bel Air.

WEIRSDALE — Guy H. Bass, 91, a farmer, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, in Chatsworth, Calif.
Mr. Bass was a native of Weirsdale. He was a member of Florida Farm Bureau, Florida Citrus Mutual and Queen Victoria Lodge No. 50. He was a trustee at Stanton First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Claronelle Johnson Bass, Weirsdale; daughter, Anita B. Coleman, Calilfornia; and two grandchildren.

Abraham B. Collins III, 52
OCALA — Abraham B. Collins III, 52, a retired U.S. Army veteran, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at home.
Mr. Collins was a native and lifelong resident of Ocala. He was a member of Little Chapel United Methodist Church, Santos. Mr. Collins served in the Army during Vietnam. He was awarded a Bronze Star for gallantry.
Survivors include his son, Abraham Collins IV, Ocala; mother, Mamie Lee, Ocala; stepfather, Samuel Lee, Ocala; sister, Beverly Collins, Ocala; brothers, Charles Collins and Varqui Wright, both of Ocala; and stepsister, Veda Hamilton, Fort Lauderdale.

HOLDER — Harvey J. Fischer, 90, retired, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, in Lecanto.
A native of Chicago, he moved here from Michigan nine years ago. Mr. Fischer was a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Fischer, Holder; and sister, Violet Linley, Lecanto.

FELLOWSHIP — William Thorburn Hill, 85, a retired refrigeration engineer for Swift and Co. Meat Storage, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Hill was a native and lifelong resident of Fellowship. He was a member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge No. 53, Shriners, Farm Bureau and Cattleman's Association. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bertie A. Hill, Fellowship; sons, William Hill, Homestead, and Kenneth "Ken" Hill, Ocala; daughter, Cherry L. Hill, Port Orange; brothers, Starling M. Hill, Clearwater, Woodrow W. Hill, Tampa, Gordon H. Hill and Carlos R. Hill, both of St. Petersburg; sister, Mary L. Johnson, Clearwater; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her sisters, Josephine Short, Cardington, Ohio, Betty Welsh, Mount Gilead, Ohio, Helen Stout, Lebanon, Mo., Patty Smith, Galion, Ohio; and brothers, Kenneth Franks, Galion, Ray Franks, Marengo, and Rodger Franks, Mount Gilead.

Harry J. Mikalakus, 69
DUNNELLON — Harry J. Mikalakus, 69, a retired business owner, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Detroit, he moved here from Miami five years ago. Mr. Mikalakus retired from Harry's Asphalt, Paving and Sealing of Miami. He was a member of Take Pounds Off Sensibly of Dunnellon. Mr. Mikalakus served as a Greek interpreter in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was awarded a Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Judith A. Mikalakus, Dunnellon; and daughter, Leslie A. Mikalakus, Dunnellon.

OCALA — Jewel Proctor Montgomery, 84, a retired nurse, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at Estelle's Hospice House.
A native of Ward, W.Va., she moved here from Douglasville, Ga. Mrs. Montgomery was Methodist.
Survivors include her husband, George Montgomery, Ocala; sons, Bill Kelley, Douglasville, and Hobart Montgomery, Jacksonville; daughters, Virginia Blevins, Clearwater, Lois Shead, Villa Rica, Ga., Sonya Jacobs, Crystal River, and Ann Nutaro, Phoenix; sister, Eulah Stanley, Ocala; 19 grandchildren; and 19 grandchildren.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved here from Fort Lauderdale in 1986. Mrs. Raphael was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

BELLEVIEW — George R. Neikirk, 76, a retired mold supervisor with Owens Illinois Glass Co., died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001.
A native of Eolia, Mo., he moved here from Jerseyville, Ill., in 1979. Mr. Neikirk was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose, Silver Springs; Order of the Eastern Star; and Jerseyville Masonic Lodge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Neikirk was Presbyterian.
Survivors include his daughters, Dianna D. Ridenour, Belleview, and Susan R. Farley, Summerfield; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Neikirk.

Survivors include her daughters, Dianna D. Ridenour, Belleview, and Susan R. Farley, Summerfield; brothers, William King, Brighton, Ill., Ralph King and Eugene King, both of Jerseyville; sisters, Lois Otto, Godfrey, Ill., and Barbara Cates, Fieldon, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Neikirk, and her son, Robert Neikirk.

IndianaPOLIS — Margaret M. Paul, 80, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Community North Hospital.
A native of Mount Clemens, Mich., she was an Ocala winter resident. Mrs. Paul was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church; Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, Silver Springs; and Vermonters Club of Central Florida.
Survivors include her husband, Richard N. Paul, Indianapolis; daughters, Mary Roberts, Knoxville, Tenn., Barbara Critchfield, Cincinnati, Kathleen Paul, Columbus, Ind., and Patricia Burton, Indianapolis; sons, Michael Paul, Lawrenceville, Ga., William Paul, Indiana, 23 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, John D. Paul.

A native of Epinal, France, she moved to Madeira Beach from Ocala two months ago. Mrs. Fernandez was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Jimmy Fernandez, Madeira Beach; son, Leo W. "Butch" Jackson, Lakeland; daughter, Joan R. Kiker, Madeira Beach; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Fred W. Pfau, Westfield, Ind.; daughter, Barbara A. LaPrise, Scottsdale, Ariz.; stepson, James Lewis, Summerfield; stepdaughters, Rosemary Holbeck, Summerfield, and Lillian Skalski, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis, who died March 2, 1987.
