Priscilla S. Sealy, 73
BELLEVIEW — Priscilla Stradchuk Sealy, 73, a retired Real Estate broker, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, in Belleview.
A native of New York City, she came here from Miami 25 years ago.
Mrs. Sealy was a member of the Belleview Christian Church and the Friendship Club of Belleview.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Russo and Kathryn Smith, both of West Palm Beach, Ruby Pellegrine, Belleview, and Janet Sealy, Boynton Beach.

Helen O. Spriggs, 76
OCALA — Helen O. Spriggs, 76, a retired bookkeeper after 40 years in the Accounts Receivable Department of the Gary, W.Va. branch office of U.S. Steel, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Spriggs was a native of Elbert, W.Va. in the Welch area. She moved to Stonewood Villa in Ocala 15 years ago from Welch.
She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, an avid gardener and member of the Pioneer Garden Club and the Hibiscus Circle.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Douglas Preston Spriggs, Ocala; sisters, Nelle O. Byrd, Ocala, and Sister Joanne Obrochta, Huntington, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Munroe Regional Development Foundation or the Blessed Trinity Catholic High School.

Fannie Warner, 99
OCKLAWAHA — Fannie "Rose" Warner, 99, a retired seamstress, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala.
A native of Leeton, Mo., she came here two months ago from Dodge City, Kan. She was a former resident of this area.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Dodge City. After the age of 90 she completed 40 quilts. She was published in Traditional Quiltworker Magazine.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Leo I. Warner and a son, Dale Warner.
Mrs. Warner is survived by her sons, Maurice Warner, Ocklawaha and Eugene Warner of Georgetown, Ky.; daughter, Rosella Flowers, Dodge City; sister, Lois Watson, Bay City, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ocala Women's Pregnancy Center.

Thomas C. Armstrong, 85
DUNNELLON — Thomas C. Armstrong, 85, the retired owner and manager of a cattle ranch, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at home.
A native of El Paso, Texas, he moved here from Phoenix in 1999. Mr. Armstrong was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Ocala, and American Legion Post 58, Dunnellon. Mr. Armstrong served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Rayna Armstrong, Dunnellon; sons, Clyde Gustafson, Kansas, Scott Gustafson, Fairfax, Va., Bryan Armstrong, Phoenix, Michael Armstrong, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Casey Armstrong, Orlando; daughters, Sherri Carter, Dunnellon, Trisha Girouard, Chewelah, Wash., and Kathlene Freeman, Silver City, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contribution may be made to Christ Anglican Church, 950 N.W. 70th St., Ocala, FL 34482.

Catherine R. Barry, 78
OCALA — Catherine R. Barry, 78, a retired administrative assistant, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved here from Jacksonville in 1986. Mrs. Barry retired from Independent Life and Accident Insurance Co. after 18 years. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, John R. Barry, Ocala; son, Kenneth Barry, Hoboken, N.J.; and sister, Genevieve L. Hogan, Ocala.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

John Fitzpatrick, 41
OCALA — John Fitzpatrick, 41, a cabinet maker for Progressive Cabinets, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001.
A native of Ellsworth, Maine, he moved here from Hightstown, N.J., in 1972. Mr. Fitzpatrick was a member of Berean Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his mother, Lenore Fitzpatrick, Ocala; and sisters, Joyce Robinson, Ocala, and Linda Fitzpatrick, Hamilton, N.J.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

John T. Gardner, 79
OCALA — John T. Gardner, 79, a retired electrician for the U.S. Air Force, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001.
A native Thayer, Mo., he moved here from Homestead in 1992. Mr. Gardner was Jehovah's Witness and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his sons, John W. Gardner, Ocala, and Larry J. Gardner, Miami; brothers, James Gardner, Longview, Wash., and Robert Gardner, Barnhart, Mo.; sister, Alvina Morrison, Houston; and two grandchildren.

Mary R. Harrison, 85
OCALA — Mary R. Harrison, 85, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Eldridge, Mo., she moved here from Sedalia, Mo., in 1998. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her son, C.J. Shull, Ocala; daughter, Sandra Norvaishas, Ocala; sister, Ruth Berry, San Antonio; brothers, Merle Smith, Blue Springs, Mo., and James Smith, Higginsville, Mo.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Grace J. Higgins, 82
BEVERLY HILLS -- Grace J. Higgins, 82, a retired teacher's aide for Citrus High School, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, in Lecanto.
A native of New York City, she moved here from Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1970.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Higgins, on Jan. 24, 1973.

Philip A. Howe Sr., 80
OCALA — Philip A. Howe Sr., 80, a retired plumber, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001.
A native of Erving, Mass., he was a winter resident from Stoddard, N.H. Mr. Howe retired from Northfield School for Girls of Northfield, Mass., after 25 years. He was a member of South Ocala Baptist Church and the American Legion. Mr. Howe was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie S. Howe, Ocala; sons, Ronald Howe, Vernon, Vt., and Philip A. Howe and David Howe, both of Winchester, N.H.; stepson, David R. Snyder, Bellows Falls, Vt.; daughters, Sylvia Miller, Stoddard, and Barbara Lester, Brandon, Vt.; stepdaughters, Sandra Ellison, East Dummerston, Vt., Linda Hammett, Baker City, Ore., and Cynthia Abbey, Florissant, Colo.; brother, Arnold Howe, Goldsboro, N.C.; sister, Lillian Carbonell, Miami; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Arthur C. Jennings II, 58
OCALA — Arthur C. Jennings II, 58, a retired insurance agent, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001.
A native of Radford, Va., he moved here from Fort Pierce 11 years ago. Mr. Jennings served in the Army National Guard. He was Protestant.
Survivors include his father, Arthur C. Jennings, Ocala; mother, Elizabeth C. Jennings, Ocala; and brother, Donald Jennings, Belleview.

Bonnie M. Neal, 88
INVERNESS — Bonnie Marie Neal, 88, a retiree of Triplets Manufacturing, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001.
A native of Ada, Ohio, she moved here in 1978. Mrs. Neal attended Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Robert V. Neal, Inverness; brother, Ray Wilcox, Lakeview, Ohio; and sister, Alberta Bailey, Floral City.

Martha E. Patnode, 88
YANKEETOWN — Martha Ethel Patnode, 88, a retired office manager for Sperry-Rand Corp., died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, in Crystal River.
A native of Indianapolis, she moved to Yankeetown from Marion County in 1977. Mrs. Patnode was past president of Yankeetown Women's Club.
Survivors include her stepsons, Thomas Patnode, Inglis, and Raymond Patnode, Oklahoma City; stepdaughter, Dorothy Sutton, Holly Pond Ala.; brother, William Machlan, Hemet, Calif.; and sister, Florence Lester, Indianapolis.

Frank N. Prescott, 79
OCALA — Frank N. Prescott, 79, a retired self-employed accountant, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001.
A native of Boston, he moved here from Fernandina Beach in 1997. Mr. Prescott was a member of the American Legion and the National Rifleman's Association, and a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Prescott was Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Prescott, Ocala; sons, Douglas Prescott, Ocala, Frank Prescott, Somerset, Mass., and Steve Prescott, Ripon, Calif.; daughter, Marianne Prescott, Ocala; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

William G. Varney, 47
SILVER SPRINGS — William Greg Varney, 47, a certified home builder, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pikeville, Ky., he moved here from Michigan in 1961. Mr. Varney was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley D. Varney, Silver Springs; parents, William and Nadine Varney, Belleview; daughters, Rachel Varney, Citra, Lisa Varney, Anthony, Jessica Varney, Silver Springs, and April Williams, Alachua; sons, Christopher Bennett, Ocala, Jason Varney, Belleview, and Joshua Williams, Silver Springs; sisters, Deborah L. Banks, Belleview, and Deidre L. Webb, Ocala; brothers, Mitchell D. Varney, Summerfield, and Earl J. Varney, Belleview; and six grandchildren.

Robert E. Watson, 39
OCALA — Robert E. Watson, 39, a routeman for Velda Farms Dairy, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at home.
A native of Jacksonville, he moved here from Williston in 1998. Mr. Watson served in the U.S. Army from 1982 to 1988.
Survivors include his son, Michael S. Watson, Cedar Key; father, Joseph A. Watson, Keystone Heights; grandmother, Polly Dixon, Hyden, Ky.; and sisters, Polly J. Swindull, St. Augustine, Rebecca J. Edgar, Greenville, S.C., Teresa G. Sayers, Keystone Heights, and Deborah Watson, Knoxville, Tenn.

Richard J. Bennetts Sr., 86
OCALA — Richard J. Bennetts Sr., 86, a retired accountant, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001.
A native of Cornwall, England, he moved here from Westland, Mich., 27 years ago. Mr. Bennetts retired from General Motors after 37 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4209. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his sons, Richard J. Bennetts Jr., Ocala, and Allan Bennetts, Westland; brother, Arthur Bennetts, Westland; sister, Peggy Pritchard, California; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Bennetts, who died March 15, 1997.

DUNNELLON — Harleth W. Davies Sr., 83, a retired plant manager for Air Products Inc., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Ocala.
A native of Bangor, Pa., he moved here from Dallas, Pa., in 1985. Mr. Davies was Presbyterian. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Davies, Dunnellon; son, Harleth W. Davies, Dallas, Pa.; daughter, Judith Allen, Frederick, Md.; stepdaughter, Judith Gibson, Ocala; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

OCALA — Marcos Delgado, 87, a retired artist and painter, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001.
A native of Naguabo, Puerto Rico, he moved here from Puerto Rico four years ago. Mr. Delgado was an active member of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Marion Oaks.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Maria Milagros Delagdo, Ocala; daughter, Saira Vasquez, Sorrento; stepdaughter, Maribel Montanez, Ocala; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
