SUMMERFIELD — Catherine Turkowski, 80, a retired bookkeeper, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at her home.
A native of Manitowac, Wis., she moved here from Waukesha, Wis., in 1981.
Ms. Turkowski was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
She is survived by a nephew, Donald J. Klein, Waukesha.

SUMMERFIELD — Catherine Turkowski, 80, a retired bookkeeper, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001.
Ms. Turkowski was a native of Oconomowoc, Wis. Ms. Turkowski was a member of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her nephew, Donald Klein, Waukesha, Wis.

OCALA — Pura M. Collazo, 39, a homemaker, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001.
A native of New York City, she moved here in 1998. Mrs. Collazo was Catholic.
Survivors include her mother, Carmen Collazo, Ocala, father; Ramon Callazo, Ocala; son, Jaime Morales, Ocala; daughters, Sheila Rivera and Brenda Melendez, both of Ocala; brother, Ramon Collazo, Ocala; sisters, Sandra Collazo and Maritza Hernandez, both of Ocala; and two grandchildren.

Oskar Nowakowski, 81
BEVERLY HILLS — Oskar Nowakowski, 81, a retired corporate analyst chemist, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001.
A native of Poland, he moved here from New Jersey in 1988. Mr. Nowakowski retired from Refined Onyx Corp., after 15 years.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Tamara Zgun Nowakowski, Beverly Hills; and daughters, Margaret Eagan and Elizabeth Quirk, both of New Jersey.

Joseph Ortiz, 74
OCALA — Joseph Ortiz, 74, a retired clerk, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001.
A native of Tampa, he moved here from Miami in 1991. Mr. Ortiz was a member of Silver Springs Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 1199. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his son, Joseph Ortiz, Carlsbad, N.M.; daughters, Linda Ortiz-Yaremko, Miami and Cathy Stratton, Ocala; sister, Yolanda Comas, Ocala; and five grandchildren.

Eunice R. Smith, 79
OCKLAWAHA — Eunice Ruth Smith, 79, a homemaker, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Lady Lake Specialty Care Center.
A native of Olive Branch, Ill., she moved here from Kingsport, Tenn., in 1954. Mrs. Smith was Methodist.
Survivors include her sisters, Mary Wilson, Leesburg and Mildred Parris, Elizabethton, Tenn.; and brother, Pete Dykes, Kingsport.

Arthur E. Sutton, 84
SUMMERFIELD — Arthur Eugene Sutton, 84, a retired factory worker for Dana Corp., died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Vinton, Ill., he moved here from Illinois in 1982. Mr. Sutton served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Pye Sutton, Summerfield; daughters, Joyce Williamson, Frenchburg, Ky., and Janice Gosser, Glendale Heights, Ill.; sons, Cecil Ward, Omaha, Neb., and David Ward, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay McKinney.

Geraldine F. Truman, 60
INTERLACHEN — Geraldine Fay Truman, 60, a former switchboard operator for Florida Furniture Co., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at Shands.
A native of Jacksonville, she moved to Interlachen from Gainesville 16 years ago. Mrs. Truman was a member of First Baptist Church of Interlachen.
Survivors include her husband, Gaylord Truman, Interlachen; son, Rick Melton, Williston; daughters, Suzanne Land, Gainesville, Dianne Tommie, Orange Lake and Sandy Johnson, Phoenix; sister, Nancy Swilley, Melrose; and five grandchildren.

Marcella J. Beyma, 96
OCALA — Marcella Julia Beyma, 96, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Surrey Place Convalescent Center.
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., she moved to Ocala 29 years ago. Mrs. Beyma enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Beyma.
Survivors include her son, Edmund F. Beyma, Montgomery Valley, Md.; daughter, Elaine A. Kiner, Ocala; brother, Frank Raney, Menomonie, Wis.; sister, Alice Froncek, Hudson, Wis.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pauline D. Cook, 78
SUMMERFIELD — Pauline Demarco Cook, 78, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001.
A native of Girard, Pa., she moved to Summerfield in 1983 from Corry, Pa. Mrs. Cook was Protestant.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Cook, Summerfield; daughter, Barbara Bets, Summerfield; sisters, Betty Quiggly and Jean Larson, both of Lake City, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

M. Jeannette Cote, 88
FORT WALTON BEACH — M. Jeannette Cote, 88, a retired nurse, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001.
Mrs. Cote was a former resident of Ocala. She was a member of Our Lady of the Spring Catholic Church and volunteered at Brother's Keeper.
She was preceded in death by a son, George Cote.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Joseph Cote, Fort Walton Beach; daughter, Annette M. Ross, Shalimar; brother, Paul Ouellette, Ocala; sisters, Clare Barowy, Rowley, Mass., and Anita Ouellette, Salem, Mass.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step- great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund or Covenant Hospice of Northwest Florida.

INVERNESS — Sara Veronica Crossen, 79, a Licensed Practical Nurse for Boston University Medical Center, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, in Lecanto.
A native of Boston, she moved to Inverness in 1991 from Quincy, Mass. Mrs. Crossen was Catholic.
Survivors include her brother, Francis A. Hawbolt, Lake Wales; and sisters, Helen Nison, Mary A. Haluska and Kathleen Conti, all of Inverness.

Margaret J. Danielsen, 83
OCALA — Margaret J. Danielsen, 83, a retired insurance secretary, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved to Ocala 12 years ago from Leisuretown, N.J. Mrs. Danielsen was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Danielsen, Ocala; son, Robert M. Danielsen, Bedford Hills, N.Y.; daughter, Karen Jones, Stow, Mass.; brother, Joseph Tiso, Greenwich, Conn.; sister, Jeanette Richards, New Rochelle, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Earl T. Golden, 77
OCALA — Earl T. Golden, 77, a salesman for Gulf Natural Gas Co., died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at his residence.
A native of Walnut Grove, Miss., he moved to Ocala in 1949 from Conehatta, Miss. Mr. Golden served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Wyomina Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Dwain and Harrold Golden.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby B. Golden, Ocala; daughter, Betty Breon, Birdsboro, Pa.; stepdaughters, Diane Rhudy, Roanoke, Va., and Shirley Morgan, Eufala, Ala.; sisters, Christine Ciraco, Fries, Va., Jessie Raffield, Ocala, and Lillie Morrison, Wing, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Peter W. Kingcade Jr., 79
OCKLAWAHA — Peter W. Kingcade Jr., 79, a laborer, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Blitchton, he was a lifetime resident of Ocklawaha. Mr. Kingcade was a member of East Lake Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Carol Johnson, Ocala, and Doris Morrell, Nashville, Tenn.; sons, Bernard Kingcade, Silver Springs, and Dwayne Welcome, Ocklawaha; stepson, Ronald Woodruff, Orlando; brother, Isaac Kingcade, Ocala; sister, Dolly Brown, Tampa; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

DUNNELLON — Gerald P. Miller, 72, a retired planning manager for Eastman Kodak for 37 years, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, in Dunnellon.
A native of Pontiac, Mich., he moved to Dunnellon six years ago from Placida. Mr. Miller was a lifetime member of the NRA, a Mason at Clio Lodge No. 779 and a member of the Rainbow Lakes Crime Watch.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Miller, Dunnellon; sons, Peter Miller, Bedford, N.H., David Miller, St. Petersburg, Michael Miller, Hilton, N.Y., and John Miller, Danville, Ky.; brother, Larry Beatty, Holley, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

OCALA — Robert Santo Pancari, 89, a machinist, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001.
A native of Sicily, he moved to Ocala 16 years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a member of Sons of Italy, Ocala Chapter.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Nettie Pancari, Ocala; sons, John Pancari, St. James, Joseph Pancari, Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; sister, Joanna Costello, Ocala; brothers, Edward Pancari, Massapequa, N.Y., and Samuel Pancari, Ocala; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

OCALA — Dominic R. Scott, 9, a student at Belleview-Santos Elementary School, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at his residence.
A native of Leesburg, he was a lifelong resident of Ocala. He was an avid basketball fan of the Orlando Magic. He was a member of the Marion County Boys and Girls Club and Mt. Tabor A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his parents, Adrian and Brenda Vereen and Kenneth and Cynthia Feo, all of Ocala; brothers, Adrian Vereen Jr. and Tommie Vereen, both of Ocala; sisters, Nichole Feo, Adjahnae Vereen and Nicki Vereen, all of Ocala.
